[0009] (Findings on which the present invention is based) The present inventors conducted extensive research into ways to collect water droplets, oil, and the like generated within the heating chamber onto the bottom plate of the heating chamber, and as a result, arrived at the following findings.
[0010] In conventional cooking devices, there is a gap between the side wall and bottom wall of the heating chamber, and there is a configuration in which the gap is filled with an adhesive or the like to prevent steam, water droplets, oil, etc. generated within the heating chamber from leaking outside the heating chamber.
[0011] However, when a heater with an output of about 1500 W is used to heat objects at high temperatures, or when a bottom plate of the heating chamber that can withstand high-output electromagnetic waves is placed on the bottom wall of the heating chamber, a gap is created between the bottom plate and the side wall of the heating chamber. If water droplets, oil, food debris, etc. get into this gap, it can cause sanitary problems inside the heating chamber and make it difficult for users to clean.
[0012] By covering the gap between the bottom plate and the side wall of the heating chamber with the side plate, the inventors have been able to collect water droplets, oil, etc. generated within the heating chamber on the bottom plate of the heating chamber, thereby making it possible to prevent water droplets, oil, food debris, etc. from getting into this gap as much as possible and reducing the effort required for the user to clean.
[0013] Based on these novel findings, the present inventors have arrived at the following invention.
[0014] According to a first aspect of the present invention, a heating cooker of one aspect of the present invention comprises a heating chamber for containing and heating an object to be heated, a microwave heating mechanism for radiating microwaves into the heating chamber, and a door that can open and close and covers the opening of the heating chamber and is attached to a main body, wherein the heating chamber is formed at least by a bottom wall that forms the bottom of the heating chamber and a side wall that forms the side of the heating chamber, and further has a bottom plate on an upper part of the bottom wall, there is a gap between the bottom plate and the side wall, and the side wall further has a side plate that covers the gap and a portion of the bottom plate.
[0015] This structure allows water droplets, oil, and other particles generated within the heating chamber to be collected from the side plates of the heating chamber to the bottom plate of the heating chamber. This prevents water droplets, oil, and food debris from getting into the gaps, reducing the effort required for users to clean.
[0016] According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a heating cooker as described in the first aspect, wherein the ends of the side panels and the ends of the bottom panel each have an inclined surface, and the inclined surfaces come into contact with each other to cover the gap.
[0017] This structure allows water droplets, oil, and other particles generated within the heating chamber to be collected on the bottom plate of the heating chamber from the inclined ends of the side plates of the heating chamber. This prevents water droplets, oil, food particles, and other particles from getting into the gaps, reducing the effort required for users to clean the heating chamber.
[0018] According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided the cooking device according to the first or second aspect, wherein the upper surface of the bottom plate has a recess.
[0019] With this configuration, water droplets, oil, etc. generated within the heating chamber can be collected in a recess in the upper surface of the bottom plate of the heating chamber from the side plate of the heating chamber, reducing the effort required for cleaning by the user.
[0020] According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, there is provided the cooking device as defined in the third aspect, wherein the legs have a platform for placing an object to be heated that is placed in the recess.
[0021] With this configuration, water droplets, oil, etc. generated from the heated portion can be collected in a recess in the upper surface of the bottom plate of the heating chamber from the mounting table, reducing the effort required for cleaning by the user.
[0022] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. The present invention is not limited thereto.
[0023] (Embodiment 1) Hereinafter, a cooking device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a front perspective view of a cooking device 1 according to the first embodiment. In the cooking device 1 shown in FIG. 1, a door 4 provided on the front side is in a closed state. FIG. 2 is a front perspective view showing a state in which the door 4 is open in the cooking device 1 according to the first embodiment. FIG. 3 is a front view showing a state in which the door 4 is open in the cooking device 1 according to the first embodiment. FIG. 4 is a front central vertical end view showing a state in which the door 4 is closed in the cooking device 1 according to the first embodiment. FIG. 5 is a partial end view showing the flow of circulating air when the door of the cooking device according to the first embodiment is closed. FIG. 6 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of a portion B of the cooking device according to the first embodiment. FIG. 7 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of a portion A of the cooking device according to the first embodiment.
[0024] In the following description of embodiment 1, as shown in the figure, the cooking appliance is faced forward, with the top side of the cooking appliance facing the user as the upper side and the opposite side as the lower side, and further, the right side as viewed from the front of door 4 as the right side and the left side as the left side.
[0025] The cooking device 1 of the first embodiment is a cooking device for commercial use, for example, a cooking device capable of heating with high power used in convenience stores, fast food restaurants, etc. Of course, it can also be used for home use. In the cooking device 1, microwave heating, radiant heating, and hot air circulation heating are selectively performed alone, sequentially, or in parallel depending on the cooking contents.
[0026] 1 and 2, the cooking device 1 includes a main body 2 having a heating chamber 5, a machine chamber 3 provided below the main body 2 to support the main body 2, and a door 4 provided on the front of the main body 2 so as to be able to open and close. The door 4 can be rotated around hinges provided on the lower sides of the door 4 by operating a handle 4a. In addition, an operation display unit 6 is provided on the front of the main body 2 for the user to display setting operations for the cooking device 1 and setting contents, etc.
[0027] When the door 4 is closed (see Figure 1), the object to be heated in the heating chamber 5 is heated by microwaves or the like, and when the door 4 is open (see Figure 2), the object to be heated is placed in the heating chamber 5 or removed from the heating chamber 5.
[0028] The heating chamber 5 of the main body 2 has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped space that is open at the front, and is sealed by closing the front opening with the door 4, and contains the object to be heated and cooked. The object to be heated contained in the heating chamber 5 is heated and cooked by at least one of the heating mechanisms: the hot air circulation heating mechanism provided on the back side and top side, the radiation heating mechanism provided on the top side, and the microwave heating mechanism provided on the bottom side. The bottom plate of the heating chamber 5 is made of a material that easily transmits microwaves, such as glass or ceramic.
[0029] The heating chamber 5 is configured to accommodate a placement table 7 on which an object to be heated is placed, and a bottom plate 8 disposed below the placement table 7 to receive grease dripping from the object to be heated. The placement table 7 can be removed from the heating chamber 5 to the outside of the cooking device 1, and is configured, for example, as a ceramic base, and is integrally configured with a plate-shaped member on which the object to be heated can be placed and four legs 7a that support the plate-shaped member. The legs 7a are placed on the bottom plate 8. The bottom plate 8 and the placement table 7 are made of ceramic, and the bottom plate 8 is fixed to the upper surface of the bottom wall 5a of the heating chamber 5. The ceramic is specifically made of cordierite (ceramic made of magnesium oxide, aluminum oxide, and silicon oxide). Cordierite has low thermal expansion and excellent thermal shock resistance. Therefore, even when radio waves oscillated from the microwave heating mechanism are concentrated on the surface of the placement table 7 or when the object to be heated is heated at a high temperature of 300°C or more, the placement table 7 does not crack. There is little risk of this happening.
[0030] Fig. 4 is a front central vertical cross-sectional view of the cooking device 1 of embodiment 1. The right side in Fig. 4 is the front side where the door 4 is provided. In this specification, the door 4 side of the cooking device 1 will be described as the front side (front side), and the opposite side (the left side in Fig. 5) will be described as the rear side (rear side).
[0031] As shown in Fig. 4, a grill heater 9 constituting the radiant heating section 20 is provided on the top surface side above the heating chamber 5. The grill heater 9, which is a heat source, is composed of a single sheathed heater, is placed on the top surface side, and has a curved shape. The grill heater 9 is driven and controlled in a grill mode (radiant heating operation) in which an object to be heated placed in the heating chamber 5 is cooked by radiant heat.
[0032] The machine room 3 disposed on the outside of the bottom surface of the heating chamber 5 is provided with a microwave heating unit 21. The main components of the microwave heating unit 21 include a magnetron 15 which is a microwave generating unit, an inverter 16 which drives the magnetron 15, and a cooling fan 17 which cools the components inside the machine room 3, and are driven and controlled by a control unit (not shown). The microwave heating unit 21 also includes a waveguide 18 which guides the microwaves generated by the magnetron 15 toward the lower center of the heating chamber 5, and a microwave supply unit 19 which radiates the microwaves guided by the waveguide 18 into the inside of the heating chamber 5. The microwave supply unit 19 is disposed in the center of the bottom surface of the heating chamber 5, and is constituted by an opening formed on the upper surface of the end of the waveguide 18. A stirrer 23 is provided above the microwave supply unit 19 to stir the microwaves radiated from the microwave supply unit 19. Stirrer 23 has blades that are rotationally driven by a stirrer drive unit (motor: not shown) provided in machine chamber 3 and stir the radiated microwaves. Therefore, in cooking device 1 of embodiment 1, the stirred microwaves are radiated from the bottom side of heating chamber 5 into heating chamber 5, and the object to be heated placed on mounting table 7 is heated.
[0033] In addition, in the cooking device 1 of the first embodiment, in addition to the radiant heating section 20 and the microwave heating section 21 using the grill heater 9 as cooking sources, a hot air generating mechanism 22 is provided, and is driven and controlled by a control section (not shown) including a microcomputer. The hot air generating mechanism 22 includes a convection heater 10 as a heat source for hot air circulation heating, a circulation fan 11 as an air source, and a fan drive section 12 (motor) for driving the circulation fan 11, which are provided on the rear side of the heating chamber 5. A plurality of openings 26 are formed in the rear wall 5e that forms the rear side of the heating chamber 5, and air is sucked from the heating chamber 5 through these openings 26 by driving the convection heater 10 and the circulation fan 11, and the air is blown out from the air outlet 27 into the heating chamber 5. In FIG. 5, the white arrows indicate the flow of air from the suction of air from the heating chamber 5 to the blowing out of air into the heating chamber 5.
[0034] The hot air generating mechanism 22 also includes a flow path forming part 13 and an air guide 14, which will be described later. The flow path forming part 13 and the air guide 14 are provided on the top surface side of the heating chamber 5, and regulate the flow speed and blowing direction of the air from the air outlet 27 opened on the bottom surface of the flow path forming part 13 to the heating chamber 5. In the present disclosure, the flow path forming part 13 and the air guide 14 are disposed on the upper part of the heating chamber 5 to form an upper space, and regulate the flow speed and blowing direction of the air blown from the circulation fan 11 to the heating chamber 5 within the upper space.
[0035] As described above, the cooking device 1 of embodiment 1 is provided with a radiant heating section 20 using a grill heater 9, a microwave heating section 21, and a hot air generating mechanism 22 in order to cook an object to be heated contained in the heating chamber 5.
[0036] Next, the configuration of the bottom wall 5a and the side wall 5b at the lower corners of the heating chamber 5 will be described.
[0037] Fig. 6 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of part B of the heating cooker of Fig. 3 according to embodiment 1. Fig. 7 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of part A of the heating cooker of Fig. 2 according to embodiment 1.
[0038] 6 and 7, a bottom plate 8 is fixed to the upper part of the bottom wall 5a forming the bottom of the heating chamber 5. The fixing method may be, for example, welding or bonding with an adhesive. The (left) end of the bottom plate 8 is raised upward to form a second inclined portion 8a.
[0039] A side plate 5c is fixed to the inside of the heating chamber of the side wall 5b forming the side of the heating chamber 5, and the lower end of the side plate 5c is bent to form a first inclined portion 5c1. The method of fixing the side plate 5c to the side wall 5b may be adhesive or welding, or the side wall 5b and the side plate 5c may be fixed by drilling holes in them and fastening them with bolts and nuts. If the side plate 5c is made of stainless steel and is fluorine-coated, dirt will not easily adhere to the side plate 5c, and even if dirt does adhere to the side plate 5c, the user can easily remove the dirt.
[0040] There is a gap 5d between the side wall 5b and the bottom plate 8, and the inclined surfaces of the first inclined portion 5c1 and the second inclined portion 8a come into contact with each other, thereby covering the gap 5d and a portion of the bottom plate 8 (end portion).
[0041] In addition, the method is not necessarily limited to contacting the inclined surfaces as described above. It is also possible to use a configuration in which the lower end of side plate 5c is bent vertically and the bent lower end of side plate 5c is abutted against the top of bottom plate 8, thereby covering gap 5d and part of (the end of) bottom plate 8.
[0042] With this configuration, water droplets, oil, and the like generated within the heating chamber 5 can be collected from the side plate 5c of the heating chamber 5 to the bottom plate 8 of the heating chamber 5. This makes it possible to prevent water droplets, oil, food debris, and the like from entering the gap 5d as much as possible, thereby reducing the effort required for the user to clean.
[0043] In addition, due to the configuration in which the above-mentioned inclined surfaces come into contact with each other to cover the gap 5d, water droplets, oil, etc. generated inside the heating chamber 5 can be collected from the upper surface of the first inclined portion 5c1 of the side plate 5c of the heating chamber 5 to the bottom plate of the heating chamber 5. It is possible to prevent water droplets, oil, food debris, etc. from entering this gap as much as possible, reducing the effort required for the user to clean.
[0044] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 7, the upper surface of the bottom plate 8 has a recess 8b, which allows water droplets, oil, etc. generated within the heating chamber to be collected from the side plate 5c of the heating chamber 5 to the recess 8b on the upper surface of the bottom plate 8 of the heating chamber 5, thereby reducing the effort required for the user to clean.
[0045] Furthermore, if the four legs 7a of the mounting stand 7 are configured to be placed on the recesses 8b of the bottom plate 8, water droplets, oil, etc. generated from the heated area can be collected from the mounting stand 7 in the recesses 8b on the upper surface of the bottom plate 8 of the heating chamber 5, reducing the effort required by the user to clean the inside of the heating chamber 5.
[0046] Although the configuration of the lower left corner of heating chamber 5 has been described with reference to Figs. 6 and 7, the lower right corner of heating chamber 5 may have the same configuration as the lower left corner, or may have a different configuration. [Industrial Applicability]
[0047] According to the heating cooker of the present invention, water droplets, oil, etc. generated within the heating chamber can be collected on the bottom plate of the heating chamber, making it useful, for example, in high-frequency heating cookers such as microwave ovens, oven ranges, and toaster ovens.
