[0008] <Embodiment> The drain trap 10 is installed under the floor of the bathroom unit 90, as shown in FIG. 1. The bathroom unit 90 includes a bathtub 91, a washing area 93, and a bathtub pan 95. The bathtub 91 has a bathtub drain 92 for draining water from the bathtub 91. The bathtub pan 95 is disposed under the bathtub 91. The bathtub pan 95 has a bathtub pan drain 96 below the drain of the bathtub 91. A bathtub drain pipe 97 is connected to the bathtub pan drain 96. The drain trap 10 is connected to the downstream end of the bathtub drain pipe 97. The washing area 93 constitutes the floor surface of the bathroom unit 90. The washing area 93 has a washing area drain 94 for draining water from the washing area 93. The drain trap 10 is connected to the underside of the washing area drain 94.

[0009] The bathroom unit 90 is installed on a floor structure 98 such as a slab. The drain trap 10 is installed between the washing area 93 and the floor structure 98. The space between the washing area 93 and the floor structure 98 is the installation space 99 for the drain trap 10. The height dimension H1 of the installation space 99 is determined by the water height UBFL of the washing area 93 of the bathroom unit 90 and the height position SL of the floor structure 98. The height dimension H2 of the drain trap 10 is made small so as to accommodate the case where the height dimension H1 of the installation space 99 is small. The height dimension H2 of the drain trap 10 is the vertical dimension of the outer shape of the receiving part 13 described later, and is the dimension from the mounting surface to the lower end of the receiving part 13. The height dimension H2 of the drain trap 10 is 130 mm or less.

[0010] As shown in FIG. 1 , the drain trap 10 has a bathtub side connection part 11 that is connected to the downstream end of the bathtub drain pipe 97. Bathtub wastewater drained from the bathtub 91 flows into the drain trap 10 from the side. Washing area wastewater drained from the washing area 93 flows into the drain trap 10 from above. The drain trap 10 has an outlet side connection part 12 that is connected to the upstream end of the external outlet pipe 100. The drain trap 10 discharges the bathtub wastewater and washing area wastewater into the external outlet pipe 100.

[0011] As shown in FIG. 2, the drain trap 10 has an introduction section 15, a receiving section 13, and an outflow section 14. The introduction section 15 has a bathtub side connection section 11. Bathtub wastewater and other wastewater as necessary are introduced into the introduction section 15. Bathtub wastewater, washing area wastewater, and other wastewater flow into the receiving section 13 when the other wastewater is introduced. The outflow section 14 is provided in communication with the downstream side of the receiving section 13. The outflow section 14 has a wastewater outlet 16. When the bathtub wastewater, washing area wastewater, and other wastewater flow into the receiving section 13, the wastewater outlet 16 flows out the other wastewater. The wastewater outlet 16 is an opening on the upstream side of the lead-out side connection section 12. The wastewater outlet 16 is provided in the center of the left-right direction of the outflow section 14 (see FIG. 3).

[0012] In the following, the upper side and lower side of each component when drain trap 10 is installed under bathroom unit 90 will be referred to as the upper side and the lower side, respectively, the bathtub side inlet 17 side as the rear side, the drainage outlet 16 side as the front side, and the right side and left side as viewed from bathtub side inlet 17 side to drainage outlet 16 side as the right side and the left side as viewed from bathtub side inlet 17 side to drainage outlet 16 side as the left side. In each figure, the positive side of the X axis is the front side, the negative side of the X axis is the rear side, the positive side of the Y axis is the upper side, the negative side of the Y axis is the lower side, the positive side of the Z axis is the right side, and the negative side of the Z axis is the left side.

[0013] 2, the receiving section 13 has a bathtub side inlet 17, a washing place side inlet 18, and an outlet 19. Bathtub wastewater flows into the receiving section 13 from the bathtub side inlet 17.

[0014] The bathtub side inlet 17 opens into the side wall 23 of the receiving section 13, and connects the introduction section 15 and the receiving section 13. As shown in FIG. 4, the bathtub side inlet 17 is rectangular and elongated in the left-right direction. The left-right dimension W1 of the bathtub side inlet 17 is equal to the diameter dimension of the opening at the downstream end of the bathtub side connection section 11. The height dimension H5 of the bathtub side inlet 17 is constant in the left-right direction. The upper end 17U of the bathtub side inlet 17 is located slightly below half the up-down dimension H2 of the outer shape of the receiving section 13.

[0015] The washing area-side inlet 18 is circular (see FIG. 3). A hair catcher 21 is removably attached to the washing area-side inlet 18. The hair catcher 21 catches foreign matter such as hair that flows down from the washing area 93. The hair catcher 21 is positioned above the water sealing surface F. The water sealing surface F is the water surface that is formed in the receiving section 13 and the outflow section 14 when water is stored in the drain trap 10 (see FIG. 2).

[0016] As shown in Figure 2, the outlet 19 is provided at the lower end of a partition wall 25 that separates the side wall 23 of the receiving section 13 from the outlet section 14. The height position of the upper end 19U of the outlet 19 is lower than the height position of the upper end 17U of the bathtub side inlet 17. This makes it possible to ensure the water seal depth H3 while reducing the height dimension H2 of the drain trap 10. The water seal depth H3 is the height difference between the upper end 19U of the outlet 19 and the water seal surface F.

[0017] As shown in Fig. 5, the outlet 19 has an elongated shape in the left-right direction. The outlet 19 is continuous from the left end to the right end of the receiving section 13. The dimension W2 in the left-right direction of the outlet 19 when viewed from the rear is greater than the dimension W1 in the left-right direction of the bathtub side inlet 17 when viewed from the front. The dimension H6 in the up-down direction of the outlet 19 is constant in the left-right direction of the outlet 19.

[0018] As shown in FIG. 6, the side wall 23 of the receiving section 13 has a bathtub side portion 24, an outlet side portion 25, and left and right side portions 26. The outlet side portion 25 is a partition wall 25 that separates the receiving section 13 and the outflow section 14. An inspection opening 32 is formed in the outlet side portion 25 (see FIG. 5). The left and right side portions 26 extend in the front-rear direction and connect the left and right ends of the bathtub side portion 24 and the outlet side portion 25. The left and right ends of the outlet side portion 25, that is, the front ends of the left and right side portions 26, are connected to the side walls 27 of the outflow section 14. The connecting portion between the side wall 23 of the receiving section 13 and the side wall 27 of the outflow section 14 is called the connecting portion 28.

[0019] As shown in Fig. 6, the bathtub side portion 24 forms the bathtub side inlet 17. In Fig. 6, the area in which the bathtub side inlet 17 is formed is shaded. In a plan view, the bathtub side portion 24 is linear and extends in the left-right direction. An introduction portion 15 is provided on the outer surface of the bathtub side portion 24.

[0020] As shown in FIG. 6, the outlet side portion 25 forms the outflow port 19. In FIG. 6, the formation range of the outflow port 19 is shown by shading. The outlet side portion 25 protrudes forward from the connecting portion 28 with the side wall 27 of the outflow portion 14. The outlet side portion 25 is an arc shape in which the left-right central portion is located forward of both left-right ends in a plan view. The left-right central portion of the outlet side portion 25 is a straight portion 29 that is linear in a plan view. The straight portion 29 faces the bathtub side portion 24 in parallel. An inspection opening 32 is formed in the straight portion 29. Both left-right ends of the outlet side portion 25 are curved portions 31 that are curved in a plan view. The curved portion 31 extends obliquely from the connecting portion 28 toward the straight portion 29. The outflow port 19 is formed in the entire lower end portion of the outlet side portion 25. The outlet 19 is continuous from the left connecting portion 28 to the right connecting portion 28 .

[0021] The drain trap 10 has a wall member 40 that extends from the bathtub side inlet 17 toward the outlet 19. As shown in FIG. 7, the wall member 40 has an upper wall portion 41 and left and right side wall portions 42. The wall member 40 has an opening portion 43 that opens in the left and right directions on the downstream side. In FIG. 6, the area in which the opening portion 43 is formed is shown by shading. The wall member 40 is detachable from the receiving portion 13.

[0022] As shown in Fig. 8, the introduction section 15 is equipped with a first introduction chamber 15F and a second introduction chamber 15S. Bathtub wastewater is introduced into the first introduction chamber 15F. Other wastewater is introduced into the second introduction chamber 15S as necessary. The other wastewater is introduced into the second introduction chamber 15S using other piping (not shown) different from the bathtub drain pipe 97. The other wastewater is water leaking from the bathtub, etc. The first introduction chamber 15F and the second introduction chamber 15S are separated by a partition wall 70.

[0023] The first introduction chamber 15F and the second introduction chamber 15S are formed inside the peripheral wall portion 72 and the lid portion 73. The peripheral wall portion 72 is provided so as to protrude rearward from the outer surface of the receiving portion 13. When viewed from the rear, the peripheral wall portion 72 extends in a rectangular shape that is longer in the left-right direction than in the up-down direction (see FIG. 9).

[0024] The partition wall 70 extends in the vertical direction. An upper end of the partition wall 70 is connected to the peripheral wall portion 72. An opening 74 is provided in the lower portion of the partition wall 70. The opening 74 is formed between the lower end of the partition wall 70 and the peripheral wall portion 72. The opening 74 connects the first introduction chamber 15F and the second introduction chamber 15S in the left-right direction.

[0025] The lid portion 73 has a connection portion 75 to which other drainage piping is connected as necessary. When other drainage piping is to be connected, the connection portion 75 is formed into a cylindrical shape with a hole (not shown). When other drainage piping is not to be connected, the connection portion 75 is closed. The connection portion 75 is provided above the water sealing surface F formed in the receiving portion 13.

[0026] When other wastewater is introduced into the introduction section 15, a through hole 76 is formed in the back wall of the second introduction chamber 15S, penetrating to the inside of the receiving section 13. The through hole 76 is provided below the water sealing surface F at the bottom of the second introduction chamber 15S (see FIG. 9). In FIG. 9, the position where the through hole 76 is formed and the position of the intended connection section 75 are shown by imaginary lines. When no other wastewater piping is to be connected, the through hole 76 is not formed in the back wall of the second introduction chamber 15S.

[0027] As shown in FIG. 10, the cover portion 73 has a rear surface portion 77, an outer peripheral surface portion 78, and an inner peripheral surface portion 79. The rear surface portion 77 covers the rear side of the first introduction chamber 15F and the second introduction chamber 15S. The rear surface portion 77 has a bathtub side connection portion 11, a planned connection portion 75, and a partition receiving portion 81. The bathtub side connection portion 11 is provided on the lower side of the rear surface portion 77, and the planned connection portion 75 is provided on the upper side of the rear surface portion 77. The partition receiving portion 81 protrudes forward from the rear surface portion 77. A groove 82 into which the tip of the partition wall 70 fits is formed in the partition receiving portion 81. The groove 82 extends in the vertical direction.

[0028] The outer peripheral surface portion 78 protrudes forward from the outer edge of the rear surface portion 77. The outer peripheral surface portion 78 is provided continuously around the entire outer edge of the rear surface portion 77. As shown in Fig. 2, the outer peripheral surface portion 78 fits onto the outside of the peripheral wall portion 72. A claw 84 that hooks onto a protrusion 83 of the peripheral wall portion 72 is provided on the front side of the outer peripheral surface portion 78 (see Fig. 8).

[0029] The inner circumferential surface portion 79 protrudes forward from the rear surface portion 77 on the inside of the outer circumferential surface portion 78. The protruding dimension of the inner circumferential surface portion 79 is greater than the protruding dimension of the outer circumferential surface portion 78. The inner circumferential surface portion 79 is formed with a groove communication portion 85 that communicates with the upper end of the groove 82 (see FIG. 10). The entire inner circumferential surface portion 79, except for the groove communication portion 85, is continuous in the circumferential direction.

[0030] The following describes the operation of joining the lid portion 73 to the peripheral wall portion 72. If no other piping is connected to the drain trap 10, the through hole 76 in the cylindrical portion of the intended connection portion 75 and the back wall of the second introduction chamber 15S is not formed.

[0031] First, adhesive is applied to the peripheral wall 72, the partition wall 70, the outer peripheral surface 78, the inner peripheral surface 79, and the partition receiving portion 81 of the lid portion 73. Next, the lid portion 73 is placed on the peripheral wall 72. When no other wastewater is introduced into the introduction portion 15, the connection portion 75 and the inner wall of the second introduction chamber 15S are closed. In this case, if the opening 74 is not formed in the partition wall 70, there is no escape route for the air in the second introduction chamber 15S. However, since the opening 74 is formed in the partition wall 70, the air in the second introduction chamber 15S can escape from the opening 74 of the partition wall 70 to the first introduction chamber 15F. Therefore, the lid portion 73 and the peripheral wall 72 can be tightly attached to each other. The entire outer peripheral surface 78 fits to the outside of the peripheral wall 72, and the claw 84 hooks onto the protrusion 83. The partition wall 70 fits into the partition receiving portion 81. The inner circumferential surface portion 79 fits inside the peripheral wall portion 72 while being fitted into the opening 74 of the partition wall 70. This allows the entire portion of the inner circumferential surface portion 79 located below the water sealing surface F to be in close contact with the peripheral wall portion 72, improving water blocking performance. In this manner, the operation of joining the lid portion 73 to the peripheral wall portion 72 is completed.

[0032] According to the embodiment configured as above, the following effects are achieved. The drain trap is provided with a receiving section 13 and an introduction section 15. Bathtub drainage flows into the receiving section 13. The introduction section 15 is provided in communication with the upstream side of the receiving section 13. The introduction section 15 has a first introduction chamber 15F and the second introduction chamber 15S, a bathtub side connection section 11, and a connection planned section 75. The first introduction chamber 15F and the second introduction chamber 15S are partitioned by a partition wall 70. The bathtub side connection section 11 connects the bathtub drainage pipe to the first introduction chamber 15F. The connection planned section 75 connects other pipes other than the bathtub drain pipe 97 to the second introduction chamber 15S as necessary. The first introduction chamber 15F and the second introduction chamber 15S are formed inside the peripheral wall section 72 and the lid section 73. The peripheral wall section 72 is provided on the outer surface of the receiving section 13. The lid portion 73 is adhered to the peripheral wall portion 72. The partition wall 70 has an opening 74 that communicates between the first introduction chamber 15F and the second introduction chamber 15S.

[0033] According to this configuration, the second introduction chamber 15S and the first introduction chamber 15F are separated by the partition wall 70. Therefore, when other wastewater is introduced into the second introduction chamber 15S, it is possible to prevent the bathtub wastewater from flowing back into the piping of the other wastewater. When other piping is not connected to the second introduction chamber 15S, the intended connection portion is blocked. In this case, if the partition wall 70 does not have an opening 74, there is no escape route for the air in the second introduction chamber 15S when the lid portion 73 is bonded to the peripheral wall portion 72. However, since the partition wall 70 has the opening 74, the air in the second introduction chamber 15S can escape to the first introduction chamber 15F when the lid portion 73 is bonded to the peripheral wall portion 72. Therefore, even when other piping is not connected to the second introduction chamber 15S, the lid portion 73 can be tightly attached to the peripheral wall portion 72, so water leakage from the introduction portion 15 can be prevented.

[0034] The partition wall 70 extends in the vertical direction. The opening 74 is provided in the lower part of the partition wall 70. According to this configuration, the opening 74 of the partition wall 70 is located below the water sealing surface F. Therefore, when other piping is connected, it is possible to prevent pests and unpleasant odors from entering the washing area from the other piping.

[0035] The intended connection portion 75 is provided above the water sealing surface F formed in the receiving portion 13. With this configuration, the drainage water from the other pipes flows above the water sealing surface F formed in the second introduction chamber 15S, and therefore flows in more easily than when the water flows into the water. Therefore, the drainage water from the other pipes can be smoothly discharged.

[0036] The lid portion 73 is provided with a claw 84 that is hooked onto the protrusion 83 of the peripheral wall portion 72. With this configuration, the joining strength between the lid portion 73 and the peripheral wall portion 72 can be improved.

[0037] <Other embodiments> The present disclosure is not limited to the embodiments described above and illustrated in the drawings, and for example, the following embodiments are also included within the technical scope of the present disclosure. (1) In the above embodiment, the bathroom unit 90 includes a bathtub pan 95. However, this is not limited to this, and the drain trap 10 can also be applied to a bathroom unit that does not include a bathtub pan. [Explanation of symbols]
