Detailed Description of the Invention

[0001] CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS This application claims priority to application documents filed on July 26, 2019. 1. Chinese patent application CN201910684095.6 entitled "12-membered ring compounds and their applications". 2. Chinese patent application CN201910684053.2, entitled “Catalyst system for olefin polymerization and its application.” 3. Chinese patent application CN201910684103.7, entitled "Catalyst system and prepolymerization catalyst composition for olefin polymerization reaction". The contents of all of the above documents are incorporated herein by reference.

[0002] [Technical field] The present invention is in the field of petrochemical industry, and in particular relates to catalyst systems used in olefin polymerization and to methods for olefin polymerization.

[0003] [Background technology] As is well known, when a solid titanium-based catalyst component based on magnesium, titanium, halogen and an electron donor compound is used in an olefin polymerization reaction, it has different properties according to the electron donor, so some catalyst systems have high catalytic activity, some catalyst systems have high hydrogen modulation sensitivity, and some catalyst systems have high stereospecificity. In the industrial production of polyolefins, a catalyst with excellent overall performance, especially high activity, high hydrogen modulation sensitivity, and high stereospecificity is required. The stereospecificity of the catalyst determines the isotacticity index of the polymer, and the isotacticity index is one of the important performance indicators of a polymer. The higher the isotacticity index of polypropylene, the higher its regularity and crystallinity, and the mechanical properties such as hardness, stiffness, modulus, break and yield strength of the product are all increased, and the melting point, thermal stability, aging resistance and radiation resistance are also correspondingly improved. Therefore, in order to improve the stereospecificity of the catalyst, researchers are constantly conducting a large amount of research work. In some studies, two (or more) kinds of electron donors are mixed together to make up for the deficiency of a single electron donor, thereby improving the performance of the catalyst. However, the effect of the mixed combination is not simply the superposition of the performance of multiple electron donors. For example, WO03002617 discloses a catalyst component and catalyst for olefin polymerization obtained by mixing monocarboxylic acid ester and dicarboxylic acid ester, and although the hydrogen adjustment sensitivity of the catalyst is high, the stereospecificity and polymerization activity are still not high.

[0004] Therefore, the development of a catalyst having excellent overall performance, i.e., a catalyst which maintains high activity while having high stereospecificity, and which produces olefin polymers having high isotacticity index and low ash content, remains a problem to be solved.

[0005] Summary of the Invention The present inventors have found that by introducing a 12-membered ring compound having a specific structure as a cocatalyst in an olefin polymerization process and blending it with a Ziegler-Natta type main catalyst, the polymerization activity and stereospecificity of the catalyst can be significantly improved. Based on this finding, the present invention is provided.

[0183] remarks: C-Donor Cyclohexylmethyldimethoxysilane Donor 1 2-Isopropyl-2-isoamyl-1,3-dimethoxypropane As can be seen from Table 2, when the catalyst system provided by the present invention is used in olefin polymerization, especially propylene polymerization, the stereospecificity, catalytic activity and hydrogen adjustment sensitivity are all good. Compared with the catalyst system containing a silane-based compound or a diether-based compound as an external electron donor, the catalyst system containing a 12-membered ring compound represented by formula (M) as a cocatalyst has improved hydrogen adjustment sensitivity, obviously improved polymerization activity, and good isotacticity index of the polymer. When a silane-based compound or a diether-based compound is added to the catalyst system as an external electron donor, the isotacticity index of the product is further improved. According to the above characteristics of the catalyst provided by the present invention, the catalyst system provided by the present invention is particularly suitable for producing polypropylene products with high stereoregularity and low ash content, and the melt index of the product can be adjusted in a wide range by adjusting the amount of hydrogen added.

[0184] (Example 25) In a 48-channel parallel pressure reactor (reaction volume 20 ml), replace the reactor with hydrogen gas. Fill with propylene gas to 1 mPa, and add 5 ml of liquid propylene. Prepare a mixed solution by sequentially adding triethylaluminum, compound A, and heptane solution of solid catalyst component Z1 in a molar ratio of triethylaluminum (calculated in aluminum element): compound A: solid catalyst component (calculated in titanium element) of 250:25:1. Take a certain amount of the mixed solution (containing 0.02 mg of solid catalyst component) and inject it into the reactor. React at 70°C for 40 minutes. Replace the system with ethylpropylene mixed gas (volume ratio of ethylene and propylene is 1:1), and react at 80°C for 20 minutes with the pressure controlled at 0.7 MPa.

[0185] The reaction product was discharged, the weight of the polymer was weighed, and the catalytic activity was calculated. At the same time, the ethylene content of the polymer was measured, and the results are shown in Table 3.

[0186] Comparative Example 11 The procedure was basically the same as in Example 25, except that compound A was replaced with an equimolar C-donor. The results are shown in Table 3.

[0187] (Example 26) The same as in Example 25, the only difference is that a part of compound A is replaced with equimolar C-Donor. In this example, the molar ratio of compound A to C-Donor is 1:1. The results are shown in Table 3.

[0191] Comparative Example 12 The only difference from Example 28 is that compound A was replaced with an equimolar C-donor. The results are shown in Table 3.

[0192] [Table 3]

[0193] remarks: C-Donor Cyclohexylmethyldimethoxysilane The ethylene content means the content of -CH2CH2- units derived from ethylene monomers in a polymer.

[0194] As can be seen from Table 3, when the catalyst system provided by the present invention is used for olefin copolymerization, particularly the copolymerization of ethylene and propylene, the copolymer obtained by the catalyst system using the 12-membered ring compound represented by formula (M) as a cocatalyst has a comparable ethylene content and improved polymerization activity compared to the case where C-Donor is used as an external electron donor. According to the above characteristics of the catalyst provided by the present invention, the catalyst system provided by the present invention can also be applied to copolymerization systems to improve copolymerization productivity.
