Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a method for restoring the shape of a textile product. [Background technology]
[0002] It is said that it is inevitable that clothing will lose the beautiful appearance it had when it was new due to repeated wearing and washing. Fashionable knit clothing in particular is made of yarns made of loosely twisted single fibers, and as a result, the yarns come undone and the single fibers that make up the yarns shift position when worn or washed, which makes the clothing prone to changes in appearance such as stretching and losing its shape. In other words, the beautiful appearance of the clothing, which is important to the wearer, is lost. In this way, the worn-out appearance of clothing occurs as the clothing becomes used.
[0003] Patent Document 1 describes a detergent for textile products that can effectively prevent deterioration of the quality of textile products, the detergent comprising: component (A): a water-soluble polymer having one or more selected from alkylene terephthalate units and alkylene isophthalate units, and (poly)oxyalkylene units; component (B): one or more selected from compounds represented by general formula (b1) and salts thereof; and component (C): a water-insoluble silicone, wherein the mass ratio of component (B) / component (A) is 0.5 to 5, and the mass ratio of component (A) / component (C) is 0.2 to 14. Patent Document 2 describes a textile product treatment agent which comprises component (A): a nonionic surfactant, component (B): cellulase, and component (C): one or more components selected from compounds represented by general formula (c1) and salts thereof, and in which the mass ratio of component (B) / component (C) is 0.05 to 3, and which can effectively suppress fluffing of textile products and can effectively suppress adhesion of fluff to the textile products.
[0004] Conventional methods for restoring the shape of textile products that have lost their shape generally involve the use of starches or synthetic polymers such as those described in Patent Document 1. However, these chemical substances have a high environmental impact from production to discharge. In the future, there is a demand for the selection of sustainable agents in order to realize a sustainable society. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

Effect of the Invention
[0012] According to the present invention, there is provided a method for treating a textile product, which restores the shape of the textile product that has lost its shape. In the present invention, "shape loss" is defined by the curling deformation rate of the fabric described in paragraph
[0062] of this specification, and refers to a state in which the curling deformation rate is 18% or more. "Shape recovery" refers to a state in which the curling deformation rate has recovered from a state in which the curling deformation rate is 18% or more to less than 15%. In addition, "shape loss" is synonymous with creases and wear. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0013] [How to restore the shape of textile products] The present invention relates to a method for restoring the shape of a textile product, which comprises contacting a textile product containing cellulose fibers with a treatment liquid (hereinafter referred to as the treatment liquid of the present invention) containing (a) endo-type cellulase (hereinafter referred to as component (a)) and water, and washing the textile product with a mechanical force such that the MA value, as measured by the method described in Appendix JA of JIS L 1930:2014, is 35 or less. The present invention also relates to a method for treating a textile product, comprising contacting the treatment liquid of the present invention with a textile product containing cellulose fibers and washing the textile product with a mechanical force having an MA value of 35 or less, as measured by the method described in Annex JA of JIS L 1930:2014. Hereinafter, the method for restoring the shape of a textile product of the present invention and the method for treating a textile product of the present invention will both be referred to as the method of the present invention.
[0014] <Processing solution> The treatment liquid of the present invention contains endo-type cellulase as component (a) from the viewpoint of recovery from collapsed shape. Endo-type cellulase is a general term for cellulases that randomly hydrolyze cellulose chains to produce various cellooligosaccharides. As the endo-type cellulase, from the viewpoint of shape recovery, for example, one or more endoglucanase preparations selected from Cellclean 4500L (trade name, manufactured by Novozymes), Carezyme Premium 4500L (trade name, manufactured by Novozymes), and REVITALENZ 200 (trade name, manufactured by DuPont) are preferred. Of these, from the viewpoint of shape recovery, Carezyme Premium 4500L is more preferred as component (a). These components (a) may be used alone or in combination of two or more.

If component (a) is a commercially available product and the amount of enzyme protein is known, the value may be used as the amount of enzyme protein of component (a). When the amount of enzyme protein of component (a) is measured, it may be measured based on the Lowry method. For the Lowry method, a commercially available measurement kit, for example, DC Protein Assay Kit II (manufactured by Bio-Rad Laboratories), may be used for the measurement.

[0043] The MA value (Mechanical Action Value) is measured by punching five circular holes of 35 mm diameter in the center of a white cotton fabric with a certain stiffness, sewing the four corners of the MA test fabric to a textile product, and then performing a washing test. The MA value is calculated by adding up the number of threads pushed out from the top, bottom, left and right of the hole in the MA test fabric after washing and drying. The MA value is an indicator of the mechanical force applied to textile products during washing.
[0044] The MA value measured by the method described in Appendix JA of JIS L 1930:2014 can be specifically measured by the following method. (a) Preparation of MA test cloth The MA test cloth is a white cotton cloth with a certain stiffness and softness, with five circular holes of 35 mm in diameter punched in the center. This is washed together with the item to be washed, and after drying, the number of loose threads in the holes is counted. The total number of threads for the five holes is called the MA value (Mechanical Action Value), and the washing mechanical strength is evaluated depending on the size of this value. The MA test cloth is manufactured by the Danish Technological Institute (Denmark), and is an abbreviation for Mechanical Action Test Cloth. It is mainly available in two sizes: 40cm x 40cm and 24cm x 24cm. (b) Washing treatment of MA test cloth The MA test cloth is attached to the item to be washed, and the item to which the MA test cloth is attached is washed (including washing, rinsing, spin-drying, and drying) together with other items to be washed in any manner. (c) Measurement of MA value For the MA test fabric after washing, draw a thin line through the two warp threads and two weft threads closest to each hole, for a total of four, and mark a circumscribed square. Next, count the number of threads pushed out from the top, bottom, left, and right of the marked circumscribed square toward the center of the hole in the MA test fabric. To count the threads, count X = the number of broken threads, and Y = the number of threads that are stuck out while still connected, and then count these for the four points of the circumscribed square, calculate the sum of X + Y for one hole, and then find the total for the five holes.
[0045] As long as the mechanical force used for washing is within the above-mentioned range for the MA value, a rotary washing machine may be used, or the washing may be done by hand washing or by soaking. From the viewpoint of restoring the shape of the textile product, it is preferable to use a rotary washing machine. Specific examples of the rotary washing machine include a vertical washing machine, a two-layer washing machine, a drum washing machine, a pulsator washing machine, and an agitator washing machine. These rotary washing machines can be commercially available for home use.
[0046] In the method of the present invention, when a rotary washing machine is used, it is sufficient to wash with a mechanical force that causes the MA value to fall within the above-mentioned range, and the washing course can be selected from a dry course, delicates course, hand wash course, soft course, home cleaning course, delicate course, home cleaning course, etc.
[0047] In the method of the present invention, the bath ratio, which is the ratio of the mass of the textile product (kg) to the amount of water in the treatment solution (liters), i.e., amount of water in the treatment solution (liters) / mass of textile product (kg) (hereinafter, this ratio may be referred to as the bath ratio), is preferably 3 or more, more preferably 4 or more, even more preferably 5 or more, from the viewpoint of shape recovery, and is preferably 1,000 or less, more preferably 800 or less, even more preferably 500 or less.
[0048] From the viewpoint of recovery from deformation, the temperature of the treatment liquid during washing is preferably 0°C or higher, more preferably 3°C or higher, even more preferably 5°C or higher, and preferably 40°C or lower, more preferably 35°C or lower, even more preferably 30°C or lower.
[0049] From the viewpoint of recovery from deformation, the washing time is preferably 1 minute or more, more preferably 2 minutes or more, even more preferably 3 minutes or more, and preferably 30 minutes or less, even more preferably 20 minutes or less, and even more preferably 15 minutes or less. The washing time refers to the time during which the treatment liquid of the present invention is in contact with the textile product.
[0050] In the method of the present invention, after the textile product is brought into contact with the treatment liquid of the present invention and washed, the textile product may be further subjected to a dewatering step, a rinsing step, and a drying step, provided that the dewatering step, the rinsing step, and the drying step are all performed with a mechanical force having an MA value within the above-mentioned range.
[0051] [Dehydration process] In the method of the present invention, after the step of contacting the textile product with the treatment liquid of the present invention and washing it, a dehydration step of dehydrating the textile product can be performed. The dehydration step is a step of reducing the amount of treatment liquid present together with the textile product in the method of the present invention. By performing the dehydration step, the drying time described below can be shortened, and the textile product can be made suitable for wearing. The dehydration step can be carried out using a rotary washing machine, provided that the mechanical force is within the above-mentioned range for the MA value.
[0052] [Rinsing process] In the method of the present invention, a rinsing step can be carried out after the step of contacting the textile product with the treatment liquid of the present invention and washing it, or after the dehydration step of dehydrating the textile product. In the present invention, the rinsing step refers to a step of contacting the textile product obtained in the washing step with new water to reduce the amount of the treatment liquid of the present invention carried over with the textile product. The rinsing step can be carried out multiple times in combination with the dehydration step. The rinsing step can be carried out using a spin washing machine, provided that the mechanical force is within the above range for the MA value.
[0053] [Drying process] In the method of the present invention, a drying step of drying the textile product may be carried out after the washing step, the spin-drying step and the rinsing step. The drying step is a step for reducing the amount of water present in the textile product. The drying may be either natural drying or heat drying using a dryer. Each drying step may be carried out multiple times. A rotary heater dryer can be used for the drying step, provided that the mechanical force must be within the above-mentioned range for the MA value.

[0087] <Preparation of test cloth> A T / C jersey (knit) fabric (50% cotton, 50% polyester, MVS color TOP jersey, SAX MOKU, manufactured by Sojitz Fashion Co., Ltd.) was washed three times in a fully automatic washing machine (manufactured by Panasonic Corporation, NA-F70PB1) using a cleaning solution containing a nonionic surfactant (polyoxyethylene (6) alkyl ether) (surfactant concentration in the cleaning solution: 0.01% by mass, tap water (20°C), standard course (washing for 6 minutes, rinsing twice, spin-drying for 5 minutes), rinsed for 60 minutes in a two-tub washing machine (manufactured by HITACHI Corporation, PS-H45L), and spin-dried for 2 minutes. The washed T / C knit fabric was dried for 12 hours in an environment of 25°C / 40% RH, and cut into a 6 x 6 cm square so that the length was parallel to the wale direction and the width was parallel to the course direction to prepare a test fabric.
[0088] <Preparation of deformed test cloth> Thirty pieces of the test cloth were washed three times in a fully automatic washing machine (AW-8D7(W) manufactured by TOSHIBA Corporation) (tap water (20°C), standard cycle (8 minutes of washing, 2 rinses, 5 minutes of spin-drying), bath ratio 20). The washed T / C knitted cloth was dried for 12 hours in an environment of 25°C / 40% RH to prepare a test cloth that had lost its shape.
[0089] <Cleaning of test cloth that has lost its shape> The test cloth that had lost its shape was washed with the concentrated treatment solution prepared using the washing method described in Table 1. The cleaning method described in Table 1 is as follows.
[0090] Hand washing: 4L of tap water (20℃) was poured into a tub, and the concentrated treatment solution was poured in to obtain the treatment solution concentration shown in Table 1, and the mixture was stirred by hand. Six test cloths that had lost their shape were turned upside down in the tub 25 times, and then spun for 15 seconds in a twin-tub washing machine (HITACHI Corporation, PS-H45L). 4L of tap water was poured into another tub, and rinsed (15 turns upside down) twice, and spun for 15 seconds. This operation (hand washing-rinsing-spinning) was repeated three times. The hand-washed test cloths were dried for 12 hours in an environment of 25℃ / 40%RH. The MA value of the above washing method, measured by the method described in Appendix JA of JIS L 1930:2014, was 8.
[0091] Soaking: 4L of tap water (20℃) was poured into a tub, and the concentrate of the treatment solution was poured in to obtain the treatment solution with the concentration in Table 1, and the mixture was stirred by hand. Six pieces of test cloth that had lost their shape were soaked in the tub for 30 minutes, and then spin-dried for 15 seconds in a twin-tub washing machine (HITACHI Corporation, PS-H45L). 4L of tap water was poured into another tub, and the cloth was rinsed twice (15 ups and downs), and spin-dried for 15 seconds. This operation (soaking-rinsing-spinning) was repeated three times. The soaked and washed test cloth was dried for 12 hours in an environment of 25℃ / 40%RH. The MA value measured by the method described in Appendix JA of JIS L 1930:2014 for the above washing method was 2.
[0092] Dry cycle: 28 L of tap water (20°C) and concentrated treatment solution were added to a fully automatic washing machine (AW-8D7(W) manufactured by TOSHIBA Corporation) to obtain the treatment solution with the concentration shown in Table 1. Six test cloths that had lost their shape were placed in the fully automatic washing machine and washed three times on the dry cycle (wash for 6 minutes - rinse twice - spin for 4 minutes), bath ratio 40). The washed test cloths were dried for 12 hours in an environment of 25°C / 40% RH. The MA value of the above washing method, measured by the method described in Appendix JA of JIS L 1930:2014, was 18.
[0093] Standard cycle: 28 L of tap water (20°C) and concentrated treatment solution were added to a fully automatic washing machine (AW-8D7(W) manufactured by TOSHIBA Corporation) to obtain a treatment solution with the concentration shown in Table 1. Six test cloths that had lost their shape were placed in the fully automatic washing machine and washed three times using the standard cycle (8 minutes of washing - 2 rinses - 5 minutes of spin-drying), bath ratio 20). The washed test cloths were dried for 12 hours in an environment of 25°C / 40% RH. The MA value for the above washing, measured using the method described in Appendix JA of JIS L 1930:2014, was 45.
[0094] <Evaluation of shape recovery> The shape recovery of each washed test cloth was calculated using the curling deformation rate formula below and evaluated according to the following criteria. The results are shown in Table 1. The higher the criterion value for the shape recovery evaluation, the more preferable it is. The curling change rate of the test cloth that had lost its shape was 18% or more.
