Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a variable installation angle structure for an electronic device, which uses a stand to change the installation angle of an electronic device such as a telephone. [Background technology]
[0002] 2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, structures disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 are known as structures for supporting electronic devices such as telephones when the electronic devices are used on a desk and for changing the installation angle of the electronic devices to an appropriate angle. The telephone disclosed in Patent Document 1 comprises a base member that supports the housing so that it can swing freely, and a support member that is interposed between the swing end side of the housing and the base member. One end of the support member is attached to the housing so that it can swing freely, and the other end is removably engaged with an engagement recess in the base member. The engagement recess is provided at a plurality of positions on the base member. In the telephone disclosed in Patent Document 1, the installation angle of the housing can be changed by changing the engagement recess with which the support member engages.
[0003] The telephone disclosed in Patent Document 2 is provided with a stand for changing the installation angle. The stand has an axis extending in the left-right direction of the telephone, and is configured so that the angle with respect to the case can be changed by rotating this axis relative to a bearing on the case side of the telephone. Three mating recesses are formed in the bearing. The shaft is provided with only one retaining claw that can be fitted into the mating recess. The shaft is configured to be movable in the axial direction relative to the bearing, and can adopt an engaged form in which the retaining claw fits into the mating recess and a non-engaged form in which the retaining claw comes out of the mating recess. In the telephone set shown in Patent Document 2, the installation angle of the telephone set can be changed by swinging the stand when the shaft portion of the stand is in a non-engaged form, and then putting the shaft portion into an engaged form with the stand at a desired angle. [0004] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 11-224986 [Patent Document 2] JP 2018-181994 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] The variable installation angle structure of the electronic device shown in Patent Document 1 requires a base member, which increases the number of parts, resulting in a problem of increased manufacturing costs for the telephone. In the variable installation angle structure for electronic equipment shown in Patent Document 2, the installation angle of the telephone changes in steps equal to the number of fitting recesses. However, the conventional installation angles do not satisfy users, and there is a demand to increase the number of steps when changing the installation angle so that it can be used at even larger installation angles.
[0006] In order to meet this demand, it is conceivable to increase the number of fitting recesses in the variable installation angle structure described in Patent Document 2. If the number of fitting recesses is increased, the number of places where the holding pieces of the stand can be fitted increases, so the number of steps when changing the installation angle increases. However, in order to add fitting recesses to the bearing part, a mold having a complex structure, such as one using a slide core, must be used as a mold for molding the bearing part, rather than a simple two-way punch mold. The reason why a mold having a complex structure must be used is that one side of the newly added fitting recess in the mold opening direction becomes a so-called undercut, which cannot be molded with a two-way punch mold. If a mold having such a complex structure is used, the manufacturing cost of the product will increase significantly.
[0007] An object of the present invention is to provide a variable installation angle structure for an electronic device that can increase the number of steps when changing the installation angle of the electronic device, thereby making it possible to further increase the installation angle, while keeping the manufacturing costs of the electronic device low. [Means for solving the problem]
[0008] In order to achieve this object, the installation angle adjustable structure for an electronic device of the present invention is an installation angle adjustable structure for an electronic device comprising a bearing portion formed on the bottom surface of the electronic device, and a stand having an axis portion rotatably supported on the bearing portion, whereby the installation angle of the electronic device changes when the rotational angle of the axis portion relative to the bearing portion is changed, wherein the bearing portion has a plurality of mating recesses arranged at a predetermined interval in the rotational direction, and the axis portion has first and second mating pieces formed in a shape that can be fitted into the mating recesses and arranged at a predetermined interval in the rotational direction.
[0009] The present invention provides a variable installation angle structure for an electronic device, wherein the first mating piece is located in a first direction in which the installation angle in the rotational direction is larger than that of the second mating piece, and the bearing portion has a regulating portion at a position spaced in the first direction from the mating recess located at the head of the multiple mating recesses in the first direction, with which the first mating piece engages to regulate movement of the first mating piece in the rotational direction, and when the second mating piece is engaged with the mating recess located at the head of the multiple mating recesses in a second direction in which the installation angle in the rotational direction is smaller, the first mating piece may engage with the regulating portion.
[0010] The present invention may provide a structure for adjusting the installation angle of the electronic device, wherein the shaft portion is formed to be movable in the axial direction relative to the bearing portion, and the first mating piece and the second mating piece may move between a restricted position in which movement in the rotational direction is restricted by the mating recess or the regulating portion, and a non-restricted position in which the first mating piece and the second mating piece can move in the rotational direction without being restricted by the mating recess or the regulating portion, as the shaft portion moves in the axial direction.
[0011] The present invention may provide a structure for adjusting the installation angle of the electronic device, wherein the bearing portion has a protrusion and a plate-shaped portion formed on a bottom wall that forms the bottom surface of the electronic device so as to sandwich the shaft portion from the front-to-rear direction of the electronic device, the protrusion is formed in a cantilever shape on the bottom wall that is positioned rearward from the bottom surface, and the multiple mating recesses are formed so as to open toward the front of the electronic device, the plate-shaped portion is provided at a position adjacent to the protrusion in the axial direction of the shaft portion on the bottom wall, and away from the protrusion in front of the electronic device, and the regulating portion is formed using a front surface formed on the protrusion so as to face the front of the electronic device, and a rear surface formed on the plate-shaped portion so as to face the rear of the electronic device. Effect of the Invention
[0012] In the present invention, the direction in which the installation angle of the electronic device becomes larger in the rotational direction of the shaft portion relative to the bearing portion is defined as the "first direction," and if the first mating piece is located in the first direction relative to the second mating piece, the installation angle of the electronic device becomes larger as a result of the second mating piece mating with the mating recess compared to when only the first mating piece is used, and the number of steps by which the installation angle of the electronic device can be changed also increases.
[0013] Therefore, according to the present invention, even if a plurality of fitting recesses are molded using a simple two-way pull die, the number of positions in the rotation direction at which the shaft fits into the fitting recesses can be made greater than the number of fitting recesses. As a result, since the bearing portion can be molded using a simple two-way pull die, the manufacturing cost of the electronic device can be kept low, and an installation angle variable structure for an electronic device can be provided that allows the number of stages when changing the installation angle of the electronic device to be increased, thereby making it possible to further increase the installation angle. [0015] Hereinafter, one embodiment of a variable installation angle structure for an electronic device according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to Figs. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a telephone as an electronic device according to the present invention. This telephone 1 can be hung on a wall (not shown) or placed on a desk.
[0016] The telephone 1 comprises a telephone body 3 having multiple push buttons 2, a handset 5 connected to the telephone body 3 via a curled cord 4, and a stand 6 attached to the bottom surface 3a of the telephone body 3 (see Figure 2). The telephone body 3 is formed by combining an upper case 7 that faces the front of the telephone 1 with a lower case 8 that includes a bottom surface 3a of the telephone body 3. In the following, when indicating directions in explaining each part of the telephone 1, the directions will be explained as seen from the front, facing the push buttons 2, etc.
[0017] The stand 6 constitutes a part of the electronic device installation angle variable structure 11 (see FIG. 2) according to the present invention, and is attached to the lower case 8 so as to be able to swing via a bearing portion 12, which will be described later. The installation angle variable structure 11 is configured to be able to change the inclination angle of the stand 6 with respect to the bottom surface 3a of the telephone body 3. In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 3, the installation angle α of the telephone 1 with respect to the placement surface 13 can be changed to 0°, 20°, 35°, 50°, and 60°. The stand 6 at an installation angle of 0° is indicated by reference symbol 6a in FIG. 3, and the stand 6 at an installation angle of 20° is indicated by reference symbol 6b in FIG. 3. The stand 6 at an installation angle of 35° is indicated by reference symbol 6c, the stand 6 at an installation angle of 50° is indicated by reference symbol 6d, and the stand 6 at an installation angle of 60° is indicated by reference symbol 6e.
[0018] When the installation angle of the telephone 1 is 0°, the telephone 1 is installed horizontally on a table. In this case, the telephone 1 can also be hung on a wall (not shown). When hanging the telephone 1 on a wall, a protrusion (not shown) on the wall is inserted and engaged with an upper wall-mounting attachment part 14 (see FIG. 4) provided on the stand 6 and a lower wall-mounting attachment part 15 provided on the lower case 8.
[0019] One end of the stand 6 is supported by bearing 12 at the center of the telephone body 3 in the vertical direction (the vertical direction when hung on a wall, and the horizontal direction in FIG. 3) and the other end is attached to the telephone body 3 so that it is adjacent to the upper end of the telephone body 3 when the inclination angle is 0°. As the inclination angle of the stand 6 relative to the telephone body 3 increases, the installation angle α of the telephone 1 relative to the placement surface 13, shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 3, increases.
[0020] The variable installation angle structure 11 is composed of bearings 12 provided on both the left and right sides of the bottom surface 8a of the lower case 8, and a stand 6 having an axle 21 rotatably supported by these bearings 12, as shown in FIG. 5. The axial direction of the axle 21 is the left-right direction of the lower case 8. By changing the angle of the rotation direction of the axle 21 relative to the bearings 12, the inclination angle of the stand 6 relative to the bottom surface 8a changes, and the installation angle of the telephone 1 changes. The rotation direction of the axle 21 when the installation angle becomes large is the direction indicated by the arrow A in FIG. 3, and the rotation direction of the axle 21 when the installation angle becomes small is the direction indicated by the arrow B in FIG. 3. In the following, the rotation direction of the axle 21 when the installation angle becomes large is simply referred to as the "first direction A", and the rotation direction of the axle 21 when the installation angle becomes small is simply referred to as the "second direction B".
[0021] The shaft portion 21, which will be described in detail later, is provided at the tips of a pair of arms 22, 23 provided at the base end portion of the stand 6, which is the swing center side. First to fourth protrusions 24 to 27 that protrude from the bottom surface 8a toward the rear of the telephone 1 are provided near the bearing portion 12 at both left and right ends and the center of the lower case 8. These first to fourth protrusions 24 to 27 are intended to restrict left and right movement of the stand 6 and to receive the load from the stand 6.
[0022] The lower wall-hanging attachment portion 15 is formed on the second protrusion 25 located in the center in the left-right direction. This second protrusion 25 is formed so as to be inserted between the left arm 22 and the right arm 23 of the stand 6, as shown in Fig. 4. A claw piece 28 protruding rearward from the bottom surface 8a of the lower case 8 is provided near this second protrusion 25, as shown in Fig. 5. This claw piece 28 is for holding the stand 6 in position when the tilt angle is 0°, as shown in Fig. 4, and is formed so as to hook onto the stand 6 when the tilt angle is 0°.
[0023] The bearings 12 are provided on the left and right sides of the center of the lower case 8 in the up-down direction. As shown in Figs. 6 and 7, each bearing 12 has a protrusion 31 protruding from the bottom surface 8a of the lower case 8 toward the rear of the telephone 1, and a plate-shaped portion 32 continuing to the bottom surface 8a. The left protrusion 31 is provided between the first protrusion 24 and the second protrusion 25. The right protrusion 31 is provided between the second protrusion 25 and the third protrusion 26. The first to third protrusions 24 to 26 and the left and right protrusions 31 are connected to each other by the upright portion 33a of the bottom wall 33 of the lower case 8, as shown in Fig. 6. The protrusion 31 and plate-shaped portion 32 of the bearing portion 12 are formed by integral molding on the bottom wall 33 that forms the bottom surface 8a of the lower case 8, and are formed so as to sandwich the shaft portion 21 described later from the front and rear directions of the telephone 1.
[0024] The bearing portion 12 is molded using a two-way punch die (not shown) that is released to the front and rear of the lower case 8. For this reason, as shown in Fig. 7, the plate-like portion 32 is divided in the left-right direction by a hole 34 formed by the die that molds the protrusion 31, and is provided in a position adjacent to the protrusion 31 in the axial direction (left-right direction) of the shaft portion 21 on the bottom wall 33, and spaced forward from the protrusion 31.
[0025] The protrusion 31 of the bearing portion 12 is formed in a cantilever shape that is positioned rearward from the bottom surface 8a. More specifically, the protrusion 31 extends upward from a base end portion 31a that protrudes rearward from the bottom surface 8a. A plurality (three) of fitting recesses 35-37 and a sliding recess 38 (see FIG. 6) are formed on the front side of the protrusion 31. These fitting recesses 35-37 are formed in groove shapes that open toward the front (downward in FIG. 7) and leftward of the telephone 1, and are formed to be aligned at a predetermined interval in the vertical direction (the rotation direction of the shaft portion 21).
[0026] In the following, of the multiple fitting recesses 35-37, the fitting recess located furthest above the lower case 8 will be referred to as the first fitting recess 35, and the fitting recesses adjacent to and below the first fitting recess 35 will be referred to as the second fitting recess 36 and the third fitting recess 37, in that order from the top of the lower case 8. In this embodiment, of the first to third fitting recesses 35-37, the first fitting recess 35 is located at the beginning in the second direction B described above, and the third fitting recess 37 is located at the beginning in the first direction A described above. As shown in FIG. 11, the sliding recess 38 is a portion that supports the shaft portion 21 from behind, and is formed in an arc-shaped cross section that opens upward and forward as shown in FIG.
[0027] As shown in FIG. 7, the plate-shaped portion 32 of the bearing portion 12 is formed with a cantilever-shaped spring piece 41 using a part of the bottom wall 33. The spring piece 41 is formed so that its tip portion protrudes rearward from the plate-shaped portion 32, and is configured to be pushed by the shaft portion 21 and bend forward to urge the shaft portion 21 rearward when the shaft portion 21 is assembled to the bearing portion 12. The spring piece 41 is provided at the left end and the right end of the lower case 8 as shown in FIG. 5. Therefore, both ends of the shaft portion 21 are pushed rearward by the spring piece 41, and two points on the central portion side are pressed against the sliding recesses 38 of the two protrusions 31. The shaft portion 21 is pressed against the sliding recesses 38 by the spring force of the spring piece 41, so that the stand 6 is held in the lower case 8 so as not to be easily removed.
[0028] As shown in FIG. 7 and FIG. 8, a restricting portion 42, which is essentially a fourth fitting recess, is provided at the boundary between the left side surface 31b of the protrusion 31 and the plate-shaped portion 32a located to the left of the protrusion 31. The restricting portion 42 is formed at a position spaced apart in the first direction A from the third fitting recess 37, which is located at the head of the first to third fitting recesses 35 to 37 in the first direction A. The restricting portion 42 is formed using a front surface 43 formed on the base end portion 31a of the protrusion 31 so as to face the front of the telephone 1, and a rear surface 44 formed on the plate-shaped portion 32a so as to face the rear of the telephone 1. In the front-rear direction of the telephone 1, a predetermined gap is formed between the front surface 43 and the rear surface 44. This gap is formed to be large enough to allow a first fitting piece 45 (see FIG. 15) of the shaft portion 21, which will be described later, to be engaged therein.
[0029] 5, the shafts 21 of the stand 6 are formed in a generally cylindrical shape, and are provided on both the left and right sides of the stand 6. The left shaft 21 has both ends and a middle portion supported by a left arm 22 of the stand 6. The right shaft 21 has both ends supported by a right arm 23 of the stand 6. The shaft portion 21 is provided with a first fitting piece 45 and a second fitting piece 46 formed in a shape that can fit into the above-mentioned first to third fitting recesses 35 to 37. These first and second fitting pieces 45, 46 are for determining the angle of the rotation direction of the shaft portion 21, that is, the inclination angle of the stand 6 (the installation angle of the telephone 1). The first and second fitting pieces 45, 46 will be described later.
[0030] As shown in Figures 9 and 10, the shaft 21 is supported by the bearing 12 so as to be rotatable and movable in the axial direction, with both axial ends in contact with the plate-like portion 32 including the spring piece 41 from the rear side, and with the central portion in the axial direction in contact with the sliding recess 38 from the front side. The shaft 21 is movable in the axial direction relative to the bearing 12 when the installation angle of the telephone 1 is 20° or more. When the installation angle is 0°, the right arm 23 of the stand 6 is sandwiched between the second protrusion 25 and the fourth protrusion 27 of the lower case 8, as shown in Figure 4, and therefore the stand 6 including the shaft 21 cannot move in the axial direction.
[0031] When the shaft portion 21 moves in the axial direction relative to the bearing portion 12, it is time to change the inclination angle of the stand 6. The inclination angle of the stand 6 is determined by the fitting state between the first to third fitting recesses 35-37 and the first and second fitting pieces 45, 46. 11, the first fitting piece 45 and the second fitting piece 46 are arranged at the same position in the axial direction of the shaft portion 21, spaced apart at a predetermined interval in the rotational direction of the shaft portion 21, and each protrudes radially outward from the shaft portion 21. The first fitting piece 45 is located in a predetermined direction in the rotational direction of the shaft portion 21 from the second fitting piece 46. The predetermined direction here is the first direction A in which the installation angle of the telephone 1 increases as the shaft portion 21 rotates. The distance between the first mating piece 45 and the second mating piece 46 is such that when the first mating piece 45 engages with the regulating portion 42, the second mating piece 46 fits into the first mating recess 35, as shown in Figure 15.
[0032] As shown in Fig. 4, the axial positions of the first and second fitting pieces 45 and 46 on the shaft 21 are adjacent to the left side of the protrusion 31 of the bearing 12 when the installation angle of the telephone 1 is 0°. By having the first and second fitting pieces 45, 46 adjacent to the left side of the protrusion 31 in this way, the shaft 21 can rotate relative to the bearing 12. The position of the first and second fitting pieces 45, 46 that allows the shaft 21 to rotate relative to the bearing 12 is referred to as the "non-restricted position" below, and the position of the first and second fitting pieces 45, 46 that fits into the first to third fitting recesses 35-37 and prevents the shaft 21 from rotating is referred to as the "restricted position" below.
[0033] When changing the inclination angle of the stand 6 from the position where the installation angle of the telephone 1 is 0°, the stand 6 is raised to a desired angle around the shaft 21 with the first and second fitting pieces 45, 46 in the non-restricted position. For example, when the installation angle is to be 20°, the stand 6 is raised so that the first fitting piece 45 is adjacent to the first fitting recess 35. Then, in this state, the stand 6 is slid to the right and the first fitting piece 45 is fitted into the first fitting recess 35 as shown in FIG. 11. By fitting the first fitting piece 45 into the first fitting recess 35 in this way, the first and second fitting pieces 45, 46 move to the restricted position, and the stand 6 is held in a position where the installation angle of the telephone 1 is 20°. At this time, although not shown in detail, a pressing body 51 (see Figure 7) provided near the second protrusion 25 and the fourth protrusion 27 are interposed between the stand 6 and the bottom surface 8a of the lower case 8, and the load applied when the telephone 1 in the installed state is pressed downward is transmitted to the stand 6 via the pressing body 51 and the fourth protrusion 27.
[0034] When changing the installation angle of the telephone 1 from 20° to 35°, first, the stand 6 is slid leftward relative to the lower case 8 to pull out the first mating piece 45 from the first mating recess 35. That is, the first and second mating pieces 45, 46 are moved to the non-restricted positions. Then, the stand 6 is further raised and held in a position where the first mating piece 45 is adjacent to the second mating recess 36. Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 12, the stand 6 is slid rightward to fit the first mating piece 45 into the second mating recess 36. When changing the installation angle of the telephone 1 from 35° to 50°, the same operation as described above is performed to pull the first mating piece 45 out of the second mating recess 36 and fit it into the third mating recess 37 (see FIG. 13).
[0035] When changing the installation angle from 50° to 60°, the same operation as described above is performed. That is, the first fitting piece 45 is pulled out from the third fitting recess 37 and moved to the non-restricted position, and the stand 6 is further raised. At this time, the first fitting piece 45 abuts against the rear surface 44 of the plate-shaped part 32a, restricting further rotation of the shaft part 21. Then, in this state, the stand 6 is slid to the right. When the stand 6 is slid in this manner, the first fitting piece 45 engages with the restricting part 42, and the second fitting piece 46 fits into the first fitting recess 35, as shown in FIG. 14 and FIG. 15.
[0036] When the installation angle of the telephone 1 is reduced, the stand 6 is slid to the left and the first and second fitting pieces 45, 46 are pulled out from the first to third fitting recesses 35-37 and the restricting portion 42, and the stand 6 is then swung to the desired angle, and the stand 6 is further slid to the right to fit the first fitting piece 45 into one of the first to third fitting recesses 35-37. When the stand 6 is swung to a position where the installation angle of the telephone 1 is 0°, the stand 6 is swung to be parallel to the bottom surface 8a with the first and second fitting pieces 45, 46 in the non-restricted position. When the stand 6 becomes parallel to the bottom surface 8a, it is locked by the claw piece 28 and held in that position.
[0037] In the variable installation angle structure 11 for an electronic device configured as described above, the direction in which the installation angle of the electronic device increases in the rotation direction of the shaft portion 21 relative to the bearing portion 12 is the first direction A, and of the first fitting piece 45 and the second fitting piece 46, the first fitting piece 45 is located further in the first direction A than the second fitting piece 46. According to this variable installation angle structure 11, the first fitting piece 45 fits into the first to third fitting recesses 35 to 37, thereby changing the installation angle of the telephone 1 in three stages, and further, the second fitting piece 46 fits into the first fitting recess 35, thereby changing the installation angle of the telephone 1 in a total of four stages. Therefore, the installation angle of the telephone 1 becomes larger than when only the first fitting piece 45 is used, and the number of steps required to change the installation angle of the telephone 1 also increases.
[0038] Therefore, according to this embodiment, while adopting a configuration in which a plurality of fitting recesses are molded by a simple two-way punch die, the number of positions in the rotation direction at which the fitting pieces fit into the fitting recesses can be made greater than the number of fitting recesses. As a result, since the bearing portion can be molded by a simple two-way punch die, the manufacturing cost of the electronic device (telephone) can be kept low, and it is possible to provide an installation angle variable structure for an electronic device that can increase the number of stages when changing the installation angle of the electronic device, thereby making it possible to further increase the installation angle.
[0039] The first fitting piece 45 according to this embodiment is located in the first direction A at a larger installation angle in the rotational direction of the shaft portion 21 than the second fitting piece 46. The bearing portion 12 has a restricting portion 42 with which the first fitting piece 45 engages and restricts movement of the first fitting piece 45 in the rotational direction, at a position spaced in the first direction A from the third fitting recess 37, which is located at the head of the first to third fitting recesses 35-37 in the first direction A. When the second fitting piece 46 is fitted into the first fitting recess 35, which is located at the head of the first to third fitting recesses 35-37 in the second direction B, the first fitting piece 45 engages with the restricting portion 42. Therefore, in this state, the stand 6 is held at two points, the engagement portion of the first fitting piece 45 and the fitting portion of the second fitting piece 46, so that even if a force is applied to the telephone 1 from above, the force is distributed to the first fitting piece 45 and the second fitting piece 46. This increases the strength with which the stand 6 is held, and makes it possible to prevent the stand 6 from being damaged.
[0040] The shaft portion 21 according to this embodiment is formed to be movable in the axial direction relative to the bearing portion 12. As the shaft portion 21 moves in the axial direction, the first fitting piece 45 and the second fitting piece 46 move between a restricted position where their movement in the rotational direction is restricted by the first to third fitting recesses 35-37 or the restricting portion 42, and a non-restricted position where they can move in the rotational direction without being restricted by the first to third fitting recesses 35-37 or the restricting portion 42. For this reason, in order to change the installation angle of the telephone 1, the stand 6 must be moved left or right, so that the installation angle of the telephone 1 can be prevented from being inadvertently changed.
[0041] The bearing portion 12 according to this embodiment has a protrusion 31 and a plate-shaped portion 32 formed on a bottom wall 33 that forms the bottom surface 8a so as to sandwich the shaft portion 21 from the front and rear directions of the telephone 1. The protrusion 31 is formed on the bottom wall 33 in the shape of a cantilever that is positioned rearward from the bottom surface 8a, and the first to third fitting recesses 35-37 are formed so as to open toward the front of the telephone 1. The plate-like portion 32 is provided at a position adjacent to the protrusion 31 in the axial direction of the shaft portion 21 on the bottom wall 33 and spaced forward of the telephone set 1 from the protrusion 31 . The restricting portion 42 is formed by a front surface 43 formed on the protrusion 31 so as to face the front of the telephone 1 , and a rear surface 44 formed on the plate-shaped portion 32 so as to face the rear of the telephone 1 . Therefore, the restricting portion 42 can be molded using a two-way punching die, so that the restricting portion 42 can be provided while keeping the increase in cost as small as possible.
