The configuration shown in FIG. 9 is an example of the configuration (ii) of the present invention.
[0064] -Fifth Variation- As shown in FIG. 10, the gas pipe (33) existing in the proximity region (C) may be composed of only the second gas pipe portion (33b). In this case, the first liquid pipe juxtaposition portion (E11) and the second gas pipe juxtaposition portion (E22) are juxtaposed in the proximity region (C). In the fifth modification, of the first liquid pipe juxtaposition portion (E11) and the second gas pipe juxtaposition portion (E22), the first liquid pipe juxtaposition portion (E11) is covered with the contact prevention member (40). Of the first liquid pipe juxtaposition portion (E11) and the second gas pipe juxtaposition portion (E22), the second gas pipe juxtaposition portion (E22) may be covered with the contact prevention member (40). The configuration shown in FIG. 10 is an example of the configuration (i) of the present invention.
[0065] -effect- As described above, the contact prevention member (40) for preventing contact between the liquid pipe (32) and the gas pipe (33) is provided in a region where the second liquid pipe portion (32b) of the liquid pipe (32) and the first gas pipe portion (33a) of the gas pipe (33) are adjacent to each other, or in a region where the first liquid pipe portion (32a) of the liquid pipe (32) and the second gas pipe portion (33b) of the gas pipe (33) are adjacent to each other. This makes it possible to prevent contact between the dissimilar metal portions (copper and aluminum) of the liquid pipe (32) and the gas pipe (33). As a result, it is possible to prevent electrolytic corrosion from occurring in the copper portions, which are electrically nobler than aluminum, in the liquid pipe (32) and the gas pipe (33).
[0066] In addition, a contact prevention member (40) is provided at a location where the liquid pipe (32) and the gas pipe (33) are arranged substantially parallel to each other. When the liquid pipe (32) and the gas pipe (33) are arranged side by side, the contact area between the liquid pipe (32) and the gas pipe (33) is larger than when the two pipes are arranged in a crossing relationship, and therefore the piping area where electrolytic corrosion may occur is wider. However, by providing the contact prevention member (40), the piping area can be covered with the contact prevention member (40), and thus electrolytic corrosion can be effectively suppressed in the piping area.
[0067] Furthermore, the first liquid pipe portion (32a) and the second liquid pipe portion (32b) are connected, and the first gas pipe portion (33a) and the second gas pipe portion (33b) are connected at the falling portion (3b) of the connection pipe (3). Since the space inside the casing (130) of the indoor unit (13) is limited in size, it is difficult to secure a space for connecting dissimilar metals (the first liquid pipe portion (32a) and the second liquid pipe portion (32b), and the first gas pipe portion (33a) and the second gas pipe portion (33b)). However, by configuring the dissimilar metals to be connected at the falling portion (3b), it is possible to effectively secure a connection space between the dissimilar metals.
[0068] In addition, the liquid pipe (32) and the gas pipe (33) have a vertical section (a section provided in the second space (130b)) and a horizontal section (a section provided in the third space (130c)) formed by two bent sections (see FIG. 3). The horizontal section may change its inclination position when installed in the casing (130). As the inclination position of the horizontal section changes, the vertical sections of the liquid pipe (32) and the gas pipe (33) may come into contact with each other. However, by providing a contact prevention member (40), the vertical sections can be prevented from coming into contact with each other.
[0069] 5(b), 6(a), 7, 9, etc., a contact prevention member (40) is provided on the portion of the connection pipe (3) made of copper, which effectively prevents the relatively soft aluminum pipe in the adjacent region (C) from being damaged by the relatively hard copper pipe.
[0070] 5(a), 6(a), 9, 10, etc., a contact prevention member (40) is provided on the liquid pipe (32). Usually, the liquid pipe (32) has a smaller diameter than the gas pipe (33). Thus, by providing the contact prevention member (40) on the liquid pipe (32), the dimensions of the contact prevention member (40) can be made smaller than when the contact prevention member (40) is provided on the gas pipe (33). As a result, the installation space for the connection pipe (3) can be reduced. Furthermore, the manufacturing cost of the connection pipe (3) can be reduced.
[0071] Although the embodiments and modifications have been described above, it will be understood that various modifications in form and details are possible without departing from the spirit and scope of the claims (for example, (1) to (5) below). Furthermore, the above embodiments and modifications may be combined or substituted as appropriate as long as the functionality of the subject matter of this disclosure is not impaired. Furthermore, the descriptions "first," "second," "third," etc. in the specification and claims are used to distinguish the words to which these descriptions are attached, and do not limit the number or order of those words.
[0072] (1) In the present embodiment and the first to fifth modified examples, the liquid pipe (32) and the gas pipe (33) may be covered with a dew-proof tube that prevents condensation. In this case, the liquid pipe (32) and the gas pipe (33) are close to each other inside the dew-proof tube, and thus are likely to come into contact with each other. However, by providing the contact prevention member (40) as in the present embodiment and the first to fifth modified examples, it is possible to effectively prevent the liquid pipe (32) and the gas pipe (33) from coming into contact with each other inside the dew-proof tube.
[0073] (2) In the present embodiment and the first to fifth modified examples, for example, the contact-prevention member (40) may be configured to be inserted through both the liquid pipe (32) and the gas pipe (33), so that the contact-prevention member (40) is provided across both the liquid pipe (32) and the gas pipe (33).
[0074] (3) In the present embodiment and the first to fifth modified examples, the liquid pipe connection part (32c) may be located inside the casing (130) (the first space (130a) or the second space (130b)), and the gas pipe connection part (33c) may be located outside the casing (130) (the third space (130c)). Alternatively, the liquid pipe connection part (32c) may be located outside the casing (130), and the gas pipe connection part (33c) may be located inside the casing (130).
[0075] (4) In the liquid pipe (32), the first liquid pipe portion (32a) and the second liquid pipe portion (32b) may be connected via a stainless steel pipe. Also, in the gas pipe (33), the first gas pipe portion (33a) and the second gas pipe portion (33b) may be connected via a stainless steel pipe. This provides a contact prevention member (40) that prevents contact between the liquid pipe (32) and the gas pipe (33). This makes it possible to reduce the area where the liquid pipe (32) and the gas pipe (33) make contact with each other, the parts made of different metals (copper and aluminum).
[0076] (5) In this embodiment and the first to fifth modified examples, the first liquid pipe juxtaposition portion (E11) to the second gas pipe juxtaposition portion (E22) are present in the falling portion (3b). However, the present invention is not limited thereto. The first liquid pipe juxtaposition portion (E11) to the second gas pipe juxtaposition portion (E22) may be present in the horizontally inclined portion (3c). In this case, the contact prevention member (40) is provided in the horizontally inclined portion (3c). Also, the first liquid pipe juxtaposition portion (E11) to the second gas pipe juxtaposition portion (E22) may be present in the connection portion (3A). In this case, the contact prevention member (40) is provided in the connection portion (3A). [Industrial Applicability]
