Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a vehicle management system, and more particularly to a vehicle management system including a vehicle control device and a management server capable of communicating via a communication network. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, as this type of vehicle management system, a system has been proposed in which a failure prediction server and a vehicle are connected via a network (for example, see Patent Document 1). In this system, the failure prediction server predicts whether or not a failure will occur in the vehicle in the near future using vehicle data obtained in advance from the vehicle before the failure occurs, and when a failure is predicted, reports it to the customer of the target vehicle. [0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2004-272375 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] When a vehicle is subjected to an impact such as a collision, the impact may damage the vehicle's parts. In this case, the lifespan of the vehicle parts may be shorter than the lifespan estimated from data such as the number of years the vehicle has been in use and the mileage, and the parts may break down before the failure is predicted.
[0005] The main object of the vehicle management system of the present invention is to more accurately determine the deterioration of vehicle parts. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] The vehicle management system of the present invention employs the following means to achieve the above-mentioned main object.
[0007] The vehicle management system of the present invention comprises: A vehicle management system including an on-board vehicle control device capable of communicating via a communication network, a management server capable of communicating via the communication network, and a store control device capable of communicating via the communication network, the vehicle control device transmits a collision reflection parameter, which reflects a collision, to the management server together with vehicle identification information when the collision reflection parameter is equal to or greater than a threshold value; the management server sets a deterioration determination threshold for the part of the vehicle related to the vehicle identification information based on the collision reflection parameter, and when a deterioration index for the part of the vehicle related to the vehicle identification information reaches or exceeds the deterioration determination threshold, transmits part information of the part related to deterioration and the vehicle identification information to the store control device; When the store control device receives the part information and the vehicle identification information, the store control device outputs a message prompting the customer to bring in the vehicle related to the vehicle identification information. It is characterized by:
[0008] In the vehicle management system of the present invention, when a collision reflection parameter reflecting a collision is equal to or greater than a threshold, the vehicle control device transmits the collision reflection parameter together with vehicle identification information to the management server. The management server, which has received the vehicle identification information and the collision reflection parameter, sets a deterioration determination threshold for the vehicle part related to the vehicle identification information based on the collision reflection parameter. Furthermore, when a deterioration index for the vehicle part related to the vehicle identification information reaches or exceeds the deterioration determination threshold, the management server transmits part information of the part related to deterioration and the vehicle identification information to the store control device. The store control device, which has received the part information and the vehicle identification information, outputs a message encouraging the vehicle related to the vehicle identification information to be brought into warehousing. Through such processing, the deterioration of the vehicle part can be more appropriately determined, and the vehicle can be encouraged to be brought into warehousing at a more appropriate time. Here, the message encouraging the vehicle to be brought into warehousing may be outputted for display on a display device of the store control device, or the store control device may transmit a message encouraging the vehicle to be brought into warehousing to the vehicle control device, and the vehicle control device may display and output the message encouraging the vehicle to be brought into warehousing to the display device of the vehicle. The store control device may be a computer of a dealer or a computer of a repair shop.
[0009] The management server for the reference disclosure is: a vehicle control device mounted on a vehicle and configured to transmit vehicle identification information and a collision reflection parameter to the management server via the communication network when the collision reflection parameter is equal to or greater than a threshold value, setting a deterioration determination threshold for the part of the vehicle related to the vehicle identification information based on the collision reflection parameter, and outputting part information of the part related to the deterioration when a deterioration index for the part of the vehicle related to the vehicle identification information reaches or exceeds the deterioration determination threshold. It is characterized by:
[0010] The management server of this reference disclosure receives vehicle identification information and a collision reflection parameter transmitted from the vehicle control device when a collision reflection parameter reflecting a collision is equal to or greater than a threshold, and sets a deterioration determination threshold for the vehicle part related to the vehicle identification information based on the collision reflection parameter. Then, when the deterioration index for the vehicle part related to the vehicle identification information reaches or exceeds the deterioration determination threshold, the management server outputs part information for the deteriorated part. This makes it possible to more appropriately determine the deterioration of the vehicle parts and to output information on the deteriorated parts at a more appropriate time.
[0011] In such a management server disclosed in the reference specification, the part information and the vehicle identification information may be transmitted to a store control device capable of communicating via a communication network. In this case, the store control device may output a message encouraging the bringing in of the vehicle related to the vehicle identification information. The message encouraging the bringing in may be output and displayed on a display device of the store control device, or a message encouraging the bringing in may be transmitted from the store control device to the vehicle control device, and the vehicle control device may output and display the message encouraging the bringing in on a display device of the vehicle. The store control device may be configured by a computer installed in the dealership, or may be configured by a computer in the repair shop.
[0012] In addition, the management server disclosed in the reference disclosure may transmit the target part information related to the deterioration to the vehicle control device related to the vehicle identification information. [Brief description of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0014] Next, a mode for carrying out the present invention will be described using examples. EXAMPLES
[0015] Fig. 1 is a block diagram showing an outline of the configuration of a vehicle management system 10 according to one embodiment of the present invention, and Fig. 2 is a block diagram showing an outline of the configuration of an automobile 20 in the vehicle management system 10 of the embodiment. As shown in the figure, the vehicle management system 10 of the embodiment includes an electronic control unit 30 mounted on an automobile 20 communicatively connected via a network 12, a management server 120 disposed at a vehicle management center, and a plurality of store computers 220 installed at each dealership.
[0016] As shown in Fig. 2, the automobile 20 includes an engine EG, a motor MG, and an automatic transmission AT. The motor MG is configured as a synchronous generator motor, for example, and its rotor is connected to the input shaft 23 of the automatic transmission AT. The motor MG is driven by converting DC power from a battery (not shown) into three-phase AC power by an inverter (not shown) and applying the converted power. The automatic transmission AT is configured as a hydraulically driven transmission with six forward gears and one reverse gear, for example, consisting of a torque converter and an automatic transmission, and its output shaft, a drive shaft 24, is connected to drive wheels 28a, 28b via a differential gear 26.

An air conditioner 74 conditions the air inside the vehicle cabin.
[0019] The navigation system 80 is a system that guides the vehicle to a set destination, and includes a map information database and a display unit (not shown). The map information database stores map information such as the pavement condition of the road surface in each section, the road width, the number of lanes, the width of the sidewalk, the direction in which vehicles can travel, and the legal speed limit. When a destination is set, the navigation system 80 sets a route based on the destination information, information on the current location (current vehicle position) acquired by the GPS 62, and information stored in the map information database, and provides route guidance.
[0020] The electronic control unit 30 is a microcomputer centered around a CPU 31, and in addition to the CPU 31, is equipped with a ROM 32 for storing programs and the like, a RAM 32 for temporarily storing data, a flash memory 34 for storing data and the like, a time meter 35 having a timer function, and input / output ports (not shown).

Other examples of the control signals include a throttle control signal for controlling the operation of the engine EG, a fuel injection control signal, and an ignition control signal.
[0023] The management server 120 includes a customer management unit 130 that performs user authentication and the like, a deterioration determination unit 132 that performs deterioration determination of vehicle parts, and a communication device 134. The customer management unit 130 and the deterioration determination unit 132 are functional blocks. The customer management unit 130 stores vehicle identification information for each vehicle, vehicle configuration data such as model, type, and parts, customer data such as customer name and customer address, the dealer that sold the vehicle, and failure-related data such as past failures and their repair contents. The deterioration determination unit 132 determines whether the degree of deterioration of consumable parts that make up the vehicle has reached a level requiring repair or replacement based on the number of years of use and mileage.
[0024] The store computer 220 includes a customer list 230, a warehousing processing unit 232, and a communication device 234. The warehousing processing unit 232 is a functional block. The customer list 230 stores information such as customer data such as customer name and customer address, vehicle identification information, vehicle configuration information such as vehicle model, type, and parts, and failure-related information such as past failures and their repair details. The warehousing processing unit 232 outputs a message encouraging a vehicle user whose vehicle is judged to require repair or replacement based on the degree of deterioration of the parts to bring the vehicle into the warehousing.
[0025] In the vehicle management system 10 configured in this manner, the electronic control unit 30 of the automobile 20 transmits vehicle information such as the current position, vehicle speed, acceleration, etc. together with the vehicle identification information to the management server 120 via the communication device 72 and the network 12 at predetermined time intervals after the system is started. Upon receiving the vehicle information, the management server 120 accumulates the vehicle information in the customer management section 230 based on the vehicle identification information.
[0026] Furthermore, when the electronic control unit 30 of the automobile 20 detects an impact such as a collision, the electronic control unit 30 executes a process of transmitting parameters reflecting the impact such as the collision to the management server 120 so as to be useful in determining deterioration of the parts. Fig. 3 is a flowchart showing an example of a deterioration determination information transmission process executed by the electronic control unit 30 of the automobile 20. This process is repeatedly executed at predetermined time intervals.
[0027] When the deterioration determination information transmission process is executed, the electronic control unit 30 of the automobile 20 first inputs parameters reflecting impacts such as the longitudinal acceleration α1 and the lateral acceleration α2 from the acceleration sensor 51 (step S100). Then, it is determined whether the absolute value of the longitudinal acceleration α1 is equal to or greater than the threshold value αref1, and whether the absolute value of the lateral acceleration α2 is equal to or greater than the threshold value αref2 (step S110). The threshold value αref1 is a threshold for detecting a collision in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and is set as the maximum value of the acceleration during sudden acceleration due to accelerator operation or the acceleration during sudden braking due to brake operation, or a value slightly larger than that. The threshold value αref2 is a threshold for detecting a collision in the lateral direction of the vehicle, and is set as the maximum value of the lateral acceleration due to turning, or a value slightly larger than that. When it is determined that the absolute value of the longitudinal acceleration α1 is less than the threshold value αref1 and the absolute value of the lateral acceleration α2 is less than the threshold value αref2, this process is terminated. In this case, since no collision has occurred, it can be determined that the determination of the degree of deterioration of the parts can be normal.
[0028] When it is determined in step S110 that the absolute value of the longitudinal acceleration α1 is equal to or greater than the threshold value αref1, or when it is determined that the absolute value of the lateral acceleration α2 is equal to or greater than the threshold value αref2, the longitudinal acceleration α1 and the lateral acceleration α2 are transmitted to the management server 120 together with the vehicle identification information (step S120), and this process ends. This is because in this case, an impact due to a collision or the like has occurred, which is considered to affect the degree of deterioration of the parts.
[0029] 4 is a flowchart showing an example of a deterioration determination threshold setting process executed by the management server 120. This process is executed when the vehicle identification information, the longitudinal acceleration α1, and the lateral acceleration α2 are received from the electronic control unit 30 of the automobile 20.
[0030] When the deterioration determination threshold setting process is executed, the management server 120 receives the vehicle identification information, the longitudinal acceleration α1, and the lateral acceleration α2 transmitted from the electronic control unit 30 of the automobile 20 (step S200), and sets the deterioration determination threshold Cref for the parts of the vehicle related to the vehicle identification information that require deterioration determination based on the longitudinal acceleration α1 and the lateral acceleration α2 (step S210). The deterioration determination by the deterioration determination unit 232 of the management server 120 is performed based on whether or not a deterioration counter C, which counts up for each part that requires deterioration determination based on the years of use Y and the mileage L, has reached the deterioration determination threshold Cerf or more, as described later. For this reason, when the vehicle has not been subjected to an impact such as a collision, the deterioration determination threshold Cref is set to a value corresponding to the durability performance of the parts as an initial value. In the embodiment, when an impact such as a collision occurs, it is considered that the durability performance of the parts decreases by an amount corresponding to the impact, so it is necessary to reduce the value of the deterioration determination threshold Cref by an amount corresponding to the impact. In this embodiment, since the longitudinal acceleration α1 and the lateral acceleration α2 are considered as parameters reflecting an impact, a value that increases as the longitudinal acceleration α1 increases and as the lateral acceleration α2 increases is calculated, and this value is subtracted from the previous deterioration determination threshold Cref to set a new deterioration determination threshold Cref. This process is performed for parts of the vehicle related to the vehicle identification information that require deterioration determination. Once the deterioration determination threshold Cref is set, the set deterioration determination threshold Cref is stored together with the vehicle identification information and the part information (step S220), and this process ends.
[0031] 5 is a flowchart showing an example of a deterioration determination process executed by the deterioration determination unit 132 of the management server 120. This process is repeatedly executed for parts that require deterioration determination at predetermined intervals based on vehicle information transmitted from the electronic control unit 30 of the automobile 20. That is, this process is repeatedly executed for parts that require deterioration determination, for example, every predetermined number of years of use (e.g., 0.5 years or 1 year) or every time the mileage L increases by a predetermined distance (e.g., 500 km or 1000 km).
[0032] When the deterioration judgment process is executed, the deterioration judgment unit 132 of the management server 120 first inputs data necessary for the deterioration judgment, such as the deterioration judgment threshold Cref of the target part related to the vehicle identification information of the automobile 20 related to the deterioration judgment, the age Y of the automobile 20, and the mileage L of the automobile 20 (step S300). Next, the deterioration counter C is calculated based on the input age Y and mileage L (step S310). The deterioration counter C is calculated so that it increases as the age Y increases and as the mileage L increases. Then, it is judged whether the calculated deterioration counter C is equal to or greater than the deterioration judgment threshold Cref (step S320). When it is judged that the deterioration counter C is less than the deterioration judgment threshold Cref, it is judged that the degree of deterioration of the target part has not reached a level that requires repair or replacement, and this process is terminated. On the other hand, when it is determined that the deterioration counter C is equal to or greater than the deterioration judgment threshold Cref, it is determined that the degree of deterioration of the target part has reached a level that requires repair or replacement, and the vehicle identification information relating to the target part determined to have deteriorated and the part information of the target part are transmitted to the store computer 220 of the dealership that sold the automobile 20 (step S330), and this process is terminated.
[0033] 6 is a flowchart showing an example of a warehousing request process executed by the warehousing processing unit 232 as a functional block of the dealer's store computer 220. This process is executed when the vehicle identification information related to the part whose deterioration counter C has reached or exceeded the deterioration determination threshold value Cref and the part information of the target part are received from the management server 120.
[0034] When the warehousing request process is executed, the warehousing processing unit 232, which is a functional block of the store computer 220, receives the vehicle identification information and the part information that is subject to deterioration transmitted from the management server 220 (step S400). Next, a message prompting warehousing is transmitted to the electronic control unit 30 of the automobile 20 obtained from the customer list 230 based on the vehicle identification information (step S410), and this process ends. An example of a message prompting warehousing is "A part needs to be repaired or replaced. Please come to the dealer." When the electronic control unit 30 of the automobile 20 receives the message prompting warehousing, it notifies the user by displaying or outputting the received message prompting warehousing on the display device 70 or by audio output.
[0035] In the vehicle management system 10 of the embodiment described above, when an impact such as a collision occurs to the automobile 20, parameters reflecting the impact (longitudinal acceleration α1 and lateral acceleration α2) are transmitted to the management server 120 together with the vehicle identification information. The management server 120, which receives the parameters reflecting the impact (longitudinal acceleration α1 and lateral acceleration α2) and the vehicle identification information from the automobile 20, subtracts a value that increases as the impact increases based on the parameters reflecting the impact (longitudinal acceleration α1 and lateral acceleration α2) from the previous deterioration determination threshold Cref and sets a new deterioration determination threshold Cref for the parts of the vehicle related to the vehicle identification information that require deterioration determination. The management server 220 calculates the deterioration counter C for the parts of the automobile 20 that require deterioration determination at a predetermined period based on the years of use Y and mileage L of the automobile 20 so that the deterioration counter C increases as the years of use Y and mileage L of the automobile 20 increase, and determines whether the deterioration counter C has reached or exceeded the deterioration determination threshold Cref. This makes it possible to more appropriately determine the deterioration of the parts of the automobile 20. Furthermore, when the management server 120 determines that the deterioration counter C has reached or exceeded the deterioration determination threshold Cref, it transmits vehicle identification information relating to the part determined to have deteriorated and part information about the part to the store computer 220 of the dealer that sold the automobile 20. The store computer 220 of the dealer that has received the vehicle identification information and part information relating to the part determined to have deteriorated transmits a message encouraging warehousing to the electronic control unit 30 of the automobile 20 obtained from the customer list 230 based on the vehicle identification information. This makes it possible to encourage warehousing at a more appropriate time for the deterioration of the parts of the automobile 20.
[0036] In the management server 120 in the vehicle management system 10 of the embodiment, when parameters reflecting an impact (longitudinal acceleration α1 and lateral acceleration α2) and vehicle identification information are received from the automobile 20, a value that increases as the impact increases based on the parameters reflecting the impact (longitudinal acceleration α1 and lateral acceleration α2) for the parts of the vehicle related to the vehicle identification information that require deterioration determination is subtracted from the previous deterioration determination threshold Cref to set a new deterioration determination threshold Cref. The management server 220 calculates a deterioration counter C for the parts of the automobile 20 that require deterioration determination at a predetermined period based on the years of use Y and mileage L of the automobile 20 so that the deterioration counter C increases as the years of use Y and mileage L of the automobile 20 increase, and determines whether the deterioration counter C has reached or exceeded the deterioration determination threshold Cref. This makes it possible to more appropriately determine the deterioration of the parts of the automobile 20.
[0037] In the vehicle management system 10 of the embodiment, the longitudinal acceleration α1 and the lateral acceleration α2 are used as parameters reflecting the impact of a collision, etc., but it is also possible to use the amount of change in vehicle speed V, or to use data indicating the extent of the collision obtained by analyzing images taken by a camera 60 or the like.
[0038] In the vehicle management system 10 of the embodiment, the store computer 220 of the dealership receives the vehicle identification information and part information related to the part that has been determined to be deteriorated, and transmits a message prompting the electronic control unit 30 of the automobile 20 obtained from the customer list 230 based on the vehicle identification information to prompt the automobile 20 to enter the warehouse. However, the store computer 220 of the dealership may output the user name and the deteriorated part obtained based on the vehicle identification information on the display screen or in the entry request list.
[0039] In the vehicle management system 10 of the embodiment, the store computer 220 of the dealership that receives the vehicle identification information and part information related to the part that is the subject of the deterioration determination transmits a message encouraging the electronic control unit 30 of the automobile 20 obtained from the customer list 230 based on the vehicle identification information to enter the vehicle. However, the management server 120 that has determined the deterioration may transmit a message encouraging the electronic control unit 30 of the automobile 20 obtained based on the vehicle identification information to enter the vehicle.
[0040] In the automobile 20 of the embodiment, the motor MG is attached to the input shaft 23 of the automatic transmission AT connected to the output shaft 21 of the engine EG via the clutch 22, but the automobile may be any hybrid automobile having an engine, or an automobile having an engine and a transmission without a motor for running. Also, the automobile may be an electric automobile or a fuel cell automobile without an engine, or an engine automobile without a motor for running.
