Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a wireless communication system used in an autonomous distributed access mobile network, and more particularly to a wireless communication system that efficiently uses a plurality of wireless devices to selectively realize highly efficient or highly reliable communication. [Background technology]
[0002] [Prior Art] In conventional mobile networks, communication is carried out by establishing a communication path between a mobile communication station mounted on a mobile body and a nearby mobile communication station by ad-hoc routing according to the movement state of the mobile body.
[0003] [Example of a typical ad-hoc network: Figure 11] As shown in Figure 11, a typical ad hoc network is one in which mobile communication stations autonomously detect each other, autonomously optimize communication routes, construct a temporary wireless network, and realize wireless network communication between the mobile communication stations. FIG. 11 is a diagram showing an example of a typical ad-hoc network.
[0004] [Wireless communication system configuration: Figure 12] A conventional wireless communication system will be described with reference to Fig. 12. Fig. 12 is a schematic diagram showing the configuration of a wireless communication system. In a conventional wireless communication system, as shown in FIG. 12, mobile communication stations 10-1 to 10-4 provided in multiple mobile bodies (#1 to #4) include a communication terminal 1, a line control device 2, and a radio device 3, and wireless communication is performed between the radio device 3 of each mobile communication station 10.
[0005] The line control device 2 bundles a plurality of radio devices 3 and controls communications between the communication terminal 1 and the radio devices 3. Since the mobile communication station 10-4 is configured to connect to a single radio device 3, it does not include a line control device 2. The mobile communication station 10-3 is provided with a line control device 2 because there is a possibility that a plurality of other radio devices 3 may be connected in the future.
[0006] [Conventional wireless device: Figure 13] Next, a conventional wireless device will be described with reference to Fig. 13. Fig. 13 is a schematic diagram showing the configuration of a conventional wireless device. As shown in FIG. 13, the conventional wireless device 3 is made up of a network unit 31, a wireless access control unit 32, a wireless signal processing unit 33 and a high frequency unit . The network unit 31 mainly serves as an interface with user terminals such as personal computers, and exchanges network information, so-called IP (Internet Protocol) packets, input from the user terminals via wired connections with the wireless access control unit 32.
[0007] The wireless access control unit 32 judges, based on the IP packet received from the network unit 31, whether the frequency resource, that is, the wireless line, is not in use or whether it is time for transmission by the local station. If it is determined that transmission is possible as a result of this determination, the IP packet is generated into a unit called a frame by adding control information, and then the frames are concatenated into multiple frames, and the information is encrypted and transferred to the wireless signal processing unit 33.
[0008] The radio signal processing unit 33 performs coding and interleaving to correct communication errors, then performs modulation to convert the signal into a carrier wave, and then adds synchronization signals, control signals, etc. before transferring the signal to the high frequency unit 34. The high frequency unit 34 converts the carrier wave input from the radio signal processing unit 33 into a high frequency wave, amplifies it to a specified power, and transmits it from the antenna 35.
[0009] The opposing radio device 3 receives the high frequency signal at the high frequency section 34 via the antenna 35 , converts it into a carrier wave, and outputs it to the radio signal processing section 33 . The radio signal processor 33 demodulates the carrier wave to detect the synchronization signal and the control signal, and restores the digital information. After the restoration, it corrects any erroneous information and transmits it to the radio access controller 32.
[0010] The radio access control unit 32 decrypts encrypted digital information as necessary, determines whether the received digital information is a frame, and if it is a frame, determines whether it is concatenated, and if it is concatenated, disassembles the frame. Then, in accordance with the control information stored in the disassembled frame, the response process, adjustment of the transmission time, etc. are performed. If an IP packet is stored in the frame, it is output to the network unit 31.
[0011] The network unit 31 judges from the IP packet received from the wireless access control unit 32 whether the packet is intended for a user terminal to be connected, and transfers the packet to the user terminal via a wired line.
[0012] [Conventional line control device: Figure 14] Next, a conventional line control device will be described with reference to Fig. 14. Fig. 14 is a schematic diagram showing the configuration of a conventional line control device. As shown in FIG. 14, the conventional line control device 2 is composed of a network section 21, an access control section 22, and a line connection section 23. The network unit 21 includes a network relay unit 21a that implements communication with the communication terminal 1, and a monitor and control unit 21b that monitors the network state.
[0013] The access control unit 22 controls the connection between the network unit 21 and each wireless device communication unit in the line connection unit 23 . The line connection unit 23 includes a plurality of wireless device communication units corresponding to a plurality of wireless devices 3 .
[0014] As a process in the conventional line control device 2, the network relay unit 21a receives a packet from the communication terminal 1 and transfers it to the access control unit 22. The access control unit 22 outputs the transferred data to each wireless device communication unit in the line connection unit 23 and transfers it to the wireless device 3 . Moreover, data from the wireless device 3 is received by each wireless device communication section of the line connection section 23 , output to the network section 21 via the access control section 22 , and transferred to the communication terminal 1 .
[0015] [Sent and received frames and data: Figure 15] Conventional transmission / reception frames and transmission / reception data will be described with reference to Fig. 15. Fig. 15 is a schematic diagram showing transmission / reception frames and transmission / reception data. The transmitted and received frames shown in FIG. 15 are those between wireless devices, and the transmitted and received data are those between communication terminals.
[0016] Specifically, a WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) frame indicates a frame transmitted or received between wireless devices, and is composed of a Source MAC Address, which is the ID of the wireless device that sent the frame, a Destination MAC Address, which is the ID of the wireless device that is the destination, and the like. The payload is the data sent and received by the communications terminal, and corresponds to the IP packet that follows.
[0017] Similarly, the Source Address and Destination Address of an IP Packet serve as the IDs of the communication terminals, indicating the communication terminal from which the data was sent and the mobile communication terminal that is the final destination. The payload of this IP packet is a TCP segment and a UDP segment.
[0018] [Conventional communication flow: Figure 16] Next, a conventional communication flow will be described with reference to Fig. 16. Fig. 16 is a schematic diagram showing a conventional communication flow. The wireless device 3 exchanges messages with other wireless devices 3 using the same frequency by ad-hoc routing (S1, S2, S4, S5). After image exchange, the wireless device 3 that has collected mobile network information notifies the line control device 2 of network connection (S3, S6).
[0019] The line control device 2 that has received the above notification receives an IP packet addressed to the other mobile communication terminal 1 from the communication terminal (terminal) 1 (S7), and transfers the IP packet to the wireless device 3 (S8, S9).
[0020] At this time, if the same network connection is notified from multiple wireless devices 3, the destination wireless device 3 is identified from metric (number of relays) information, which serves as an evaluation index, and the IP packet is forwarded to that wireless device 3. If the metric information is the same, the IP packet is forwarded to the wireless device 3 that notified the network connection first.
[0021] The wireless device 3 of the other mobile body that receives the IP packet transmits the IP packet to the line controller 2 of that mobile body (S10), and the line controller 2 further outputs the IP packet to the terminal 1 (S11). In this manner, conventional communication takes place.

[0025] However, in conventional wireless communication systems, although communication itself is established, even though multiple wireless devices are connected to a wireless network, only one wireless device is used for one data transfer, so there is a problem in that the multiple connected wireless devices are not utilized effectively.
[0026] It is also possible to copy and forward an IP packet to multiple wireless devices. However, in that case, multiple copies of the same IP packet will be input to other mobile communication terminals. If a retransmission request is made, this could result in a service outage due to an incorrect communication sequence, making forwarding by simple data duplication difficult.
[0027] Furthermore, even when the line in the wireless network is unstable, the conventional wireless communication system uses only one wireless device, and does not take into consideration the possibility of performing stable communication using multiple wireless devices.
[0028] Incidentally, Patent Documents 1 to 3 do not disclose a configuration for effectively using a plurality of wireless devices in one data transfer to perform highly efficient or highly reliable communication.
[0029] The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and has an object to provide a wireless communication system that realizes high-speed or highly reliable communication by effectively utilizing a plurality of wireless devices. [Means for solving the problem]
[0030] The present invention, which aims to solve the problems of the above-mentioned conventional example, is a wireless communication system in which mobile communication stations, each having a plurality of wireless devices, a line control device which controls lines for the wireless devices, and a communication terminal connected to the line control device, communicate through a plurality of wireless networks, in which the line control device of the transmitting mobile communication station generates a packet of a communication method which is set according to a first communication method or a second communication method which is set by the transmitting communication terminal, inquires of the line control device of the receiving mobile communication station as to whether or not the set communication method is supported, and when it is determined from the inquiry that transmission is possible using the communication method, If the communication method is a first communication method, packets in which the same identifier and the same sequence number are assigned to the transmission data are transmitted from the plurality of wireless devices on the transmitting side to the plurality of wireless devices in the mobile communication station on the receiving side, and if the communication method is a second communication method, packets in which the same identifier and different sequence numbers are assigned to the transmission data are transmitted from the plurality of wireless devices on the transmitting side to the plurality of wireless devices on the receiving side; A line control device of a receiving mobile communication station inputs packets from a plurality of radio devices in the receiving mobile communication station that received the packets, and if the communication method of the packets is the first communication method, The first packet received successfully by the receiving wireless device is used, and all other packets are discarded. The packet is output to the receiving communication terminal, and if the communication method of the packet is the second communication method, The receiving wireless device receives packets in the order of sequence numbers. The packets are then output to the receiving communication terminal.
[0033] In the present invention, in the above wireless communication system, information on the communication type, either the first communication method or the second communication method, is set in a generated packet, and a receiving line control device acquires the communication type information in the packet and receives using the corresponding communication method.
[0034] According to the present invention, in the wireless communication system, the line control device on the transmitting side performs a transmission process in the first communication method or the second communication method according to the communication quality of the multiple wireless devices on the transmitting side. Effect of the Invention
[0035] According to the present invention, the line control device of the transmitting mobile communication station generates a packet of a communication method set according to the first communication method or the second communication method set by the transmitting communication terminal, inquires of the line control device of the receiving mobile communication station whether or not the packet corresponds to the set communication method, and determines that the packet can be transmitted using the communication method based on the inquiry. If the communication method is a first communication method, packets in which the same identifier and the same sequence number are assigned to the transmission data are transmitted from the plurality of wireless devices on the transmitting side to the plurality of wireless devices in the mobile communication station on the receiving side, and if the communication method is a second communication method, packets in which the same identifier and different sequence numbers are assigned to the transmission data are transmitted from the plurality of wireless devices on the transmitting side to the plurality of wireless devices on the receiving side; A line control device of a receiving mobile communication station inputs packets from a plurality of radio devices in the receiving mobile communication station that received the packets, and if the communication method of the packets is the first communication method, The first packet received by the receiving wireless device is used as the packet that is normally received, and all other packets are discarded. The adopted packet is output to the receiving communication terminal, and if the communication method of the packet is the second communication method, The receiving wireless device receives packets in the order of sequence numbers. Since the wireless communication system rearranges the packets and outputs them to a receiving communication terminal, it is possible to effectively utilize a plurality of wireless devices and achieve highly efficient and reliable communication. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0037] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. [Outline of the embodiment] In a wireless communication system (this system) according to an embodiment of the present invention, a line control device of a transmitting mobile communication station receives a first communication (high reliability / HRE communication) method or a second communication (high rate / HRA communication) method from a transmitting communication terminal, generates packets of the set communication method, and transmits the packets from multiple radio devices in the transmitting mobile communication station, and a line control device of a receiving mobile communication station inputs packets from multiple radio devices in the receiving mobile communication station that received the packets, and if the communication method of the packets is the first communication method, outputs the first packet that was received successfully to the receiving communication terminal, and if the communication method of the packets is the second communication method, rearranges the packets in the order of transmission and outputs the packets to the receiving communication terminal, thereby making effective use of multiple radio devices and realizing highly efficient or reliable communication.
[0038] Here, high-reliability communication is a communication method in which a packet in which a single piece of data is assigned the same ID and the same sequence number is replicated and transmitted from multiple wireless devices to the corresponding destination wireless device, and the destination line control device adopts and acquires the first packet it receives, and discards the other packets.
[0039] In addition, high-speed (high-efficiency) communication is a communication method in which packets with the same ID and different sequence numbers assigned to consecutive data are sent from multiple wireless devices to a corresponding wireless device of a destination, and the destination's line control device rearranges and retrieves the packets in the order of the sequence numbers.
[0040] [This wireless communication system] This wireless communication system is based on the configuration shown in FIG. 12, and this embodiment is particularly effective in communication between mobile communication stations having multiple wireless devices, by using multiple wireless devices for data transmission.
[0041] [This line control device: Figure 1] This line control device will be described with reference to Fig. 1. Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of the configuration of this line control device. As shown in FIG. 1, the line control device 2 basically has a network unit 21, an access control unit 22, and a line connection unit 23, and bundles multiple wireless devices 3 together to control the line connections between the wireless devices 3 and the communication terminal 1.
[0042] [Network Division 21] The network unit 21 of the line control device 2 includes a network relay unit 21a for carrying out communication with the communication terminal 1, and a monitor control unit 21b for monitoring the network state. When an instruction for highly efficient communication (high-speed communication) or highly reliable communication is input from the user of the communication terminal 1, the monitoring control unit 21b outputs the instruction to the high-reliability / high-speed communication control unit 22a in the access control unit 22, which is a characteristic part of this embodiment.
[0043] [Line connection part 23] The line connection unit 23 includes a plurality of wireless device communication units corresponding to a plurality of wireless devices 3 . In particular, under the control of the highly reliable and high speed communication control unit 22a described later, a plurality of wireless device communication units and corresponding wireless devices 3 are used for one related data transfer.
[0044] [Access control unit 22] The access control unit 22 controls the connection between the network unit 21 and each wireless device communication unit in the line connection unit 23 . When the high-reliability / high-speed communication control unit 22a in the access control unit 22 receives an IP packet from the network relay unit 21, if the user has instructed high-reliability communication or high-speed communication via the monitoring control unit 21a, the high-reliability / high-speed communication control unit 22a generates a WHR (Wireless High Reliability Packet)-VPN (Virtual Private Network) packet shown in Figure 2. This WHR-VPN packet is assigned information on highly reliable communication or high-speed communication (high-rate communication).
[0045] [WHR-VPN packet: Figure 2] The WHR-VPN packet will be described with reference to Figure 2. Figure 2 is a schematic diagram showing a WHR-VPN packet. As shown in Figure 2, a WHR-VPN packet consists of a WHR-VPN IP Packet Header and a WHR-VPN IP Packet Payload.
[0046] The WHR-VPN packet is an IP packet input from communication terminal 1 that is treated as an original IP packet, and in the VPN IP packet payload, a routing label, a UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) Number, a sequence number, and a time stamp are added, and the packet is then packed (encapsulated) into an IP packet for a line control device that is connected to the destination terminal of another mobile body.
[0047] The routing label is assigned with information on highly reliable communication or high-speed communication (high-rate communication) and labeled. Labeling types include High Reliability Packet (HRE) and High Rate Packet (HRA). HRE is labeled as a packet for performing highly reliable communication (high reliability packet), and HRA is labeled as a high rate communication packet (high rate packet).
[0048] [High Reliability Communications / HRE] In highly reliable communication, the line control device 2 on the transmitting side replicates packets with the same UUID and Sequence Number for a single piece of data and transmits them from multiple radio devices 3 of different frequencies. On the receiving side, the corresponding radio device 3 receives the packets and outputs them to the line control device 2. If the line control device 2 receives duplicate packets, it adopts the packet that was received first and discards the packets received later, outputting them to the communication terminal 1. The flow of highly reliable communication will be described later.
[0049] [High-speed communication (high-rate communication) / HRA] In high-rate communication, the transmitting side line control device 2 transmits packets of related consecutive data with the same UUID and different Sequence Numbers from multiple radio devices 3 of different frequencies, and on the receiving side the corresponding radio device 3 receives and outputs the packets to the line control device 2. The packets received by the line control device 2 are then rearranged in the order of their Sequence Numbers and the series of data packets are output to the communication terminal 1. The flow of high-rate communication will be described later.
[0050] Also, the UUID Number is information obtained by combining the unique ID of the line control device 2 and the ID information associated with each TCP and UDP segment shown in FIG. The Sequence Number is the cycle number associated with the UUID Number, and the Time Stamp is the time when the WHR-VPN packet was generated.
[0051] As a process in the line control device 2, the network relay unit 21a receives a packet from the communication terminal 1 and transfers it to the access control unit 22. At this time, if high reliability communication or high rate communication is set in the high reliability / high speed communication control unit 22a by the user via the monitor control unit 21b, IP packets are generated according to the setting and communication control of the setting is performed. Incidentally, although details will be described in the process flow, whether or not to perform high reliability communication and high rate communication may be determined according to communication conditions and then executed.
[0052] The access control unit 22 outputs the transferred data to each wireless device communication unit in the line connection unit 23 and transfers it to the wireless device 3 . Moreover, data from the wireless device 3 is received by each wireless device communication section of the line connection section 23 , output to the network section 21 via the access control section 22 , and transferred to the communication terminal 1 . The high reliability / high speed communication control unit 22a of the access control unit 22 of the receiving line control device 2 refers to the routing label of the received IP packet, judges whether it is a high reliability communication or a high rate communication, and performs corresponding reception control.
[0053] [HRE (High Reliability) packet transmission and reception flow: Figure 3] Next, the flow of high reliability (HRE) packet transmission and reception will be described with reference to Fig. 3. Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram showing the flow of HRE (high reliability) packet transmission and reception. As shown in Fig. 3, the user sets the line control device 2 to a highly reliable communication for data addressed to the mobile unit #2 terminal (S01). The subsequent message exchange of the ad-hoc routing method and the notification of the network connection are performed in the same manner as in Fig. 15 (S1 to S6).
[0054] Thereafter, the line controller 2 of the mobile unit #1 inquires of the line controller 2 of the mobile unit #2 whether or not it supports HRE communication or HRA communication by using a WHR Discovery message (S21 to S23). Then, the line controller 2 of the mobile unit #2 receives a response by using a WHR Discovery message (S24 to S26).
[0055] Then, when the line control device 2 of mobile unit #1 determines that an HRE packet can be sent to mobile unit #2, it inputs an HRE packet from terminal 1 (S35), transmits the HRE packet to wireless device #F1 and wireless device #F2 (S36, S37), and transmits the HRE packet from each wireless device to the corresponding wireless device of mobile unit #2 (S38, S40).
[0056] The wireless device of mobile unit #2 transmits the received HRE packet to the line control device 2 of mobile unit #2 (S39, S42), and the line control device 2 adopts the first received HRE packet and outputs it to terminal 1, and discards the HRE packets received thereafter and does not transmit them to terminal 1.
[0057] In the above-mentioned highly reliable communication, the sending side transmits the same data via multiple wireless routes using multiple wireless devices 3, and the receiving side receives the same data via different wireless routes using the multiple wireless devices 3. This increases the probability that data transmitted via any of the wireless routes will be received correctly, thereby achieving high reliability.
[0058] [HRA (High Speed / High Rate) Packet Transmission and Reception Flow: Figure 4] Next, the flow of high rate (HRA) packet transmission and reception will be described with reference to Fig. 4. Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram showing the flow of HRA (high rate) packet transmission and reception. As shown in Fig. 4, the user sets the line control device 2 to high-rate (high-throughput) communication for data addressed to the mobile unit #2 terminal (S02). The subsequent ad-hoc routing method message exchange and network connection notification (S1 to S6), and the inquiry and response using the WHR Discovery message (S21 to S26) are the same as those in Fig. 3.
[0059] Then, when the line control device 2 of mobile unit #1 determines that an HRA packet can be sent to mobile unit #2, it inputs an HRA packet from terminal 1 (S45), transmits the HRA packet to wireless device #F1 and wireless device #F2 (S46, S47), and transmits the HRA packet from each wireless device to the corresponding wireless device of mobile unit #2 (S48, S50).
[0060] The wireless device of mobile unit #2 transmits the received HRA packet to the line control device 2 of mobile unit #2 (S49, S51), and the line control device 2 stores the received HRA packet, checks the Sequence Number, rearranges the packets in the order of the Sequence Numbers, and outputs the IP packets to terminal 1.
[0061] In the above-mentioned high-speed (high-rate) communication, the sending side transmits a series of related data from multiple wireless devices via different wireless routes, with the same ID and different sequence numbers, and the receiving side receives the data from multiple wireless devices via different wireless routes and rearranges the related data in order of sequence numbers, thereby achieving high speeds because related data can be transmitted in parallel.
[0062] [Communication quality information] Moreover, the communication quality information that the line controller 2 collects from the wireless equipment 3 includes, for example, a received signal strength indicator (RSSI), the number of received subcarriers, an equalization error, a line utilization rate, and a combination of these. RSSI is the received signal strength, the number of received subcarriers is the number of effective subcarriers in OFDM and OFDMA, that is, the number of effective subcarriers per symbol when received, the equalization error is the total compensation value when the symbol is compensated by the equalizer taking into account the frequency characteristics, and the line utilization rate is the utilization rate of the wireless line, calculated from the carrier detection time for each single time.
[0063] [Transmission process flow in this line control device: Figures 5-8] Next, the transmission process in this line control device will be described with reference to Fig. 5 to Fig. 8. Fig. 5 is a flow diagram showing the transmission process (1), Fig. 6 is a flow diagram showing the transmission process (2), Fig. 7 is a flow diagram showing the transmission process (3), and Fig. 8 is a flow diagram showing the transmission process (4). Figs. 5 to 8 are connected by a series of processes.
[0064] 5, when the line control device 2 starts processing, each wireless device checks whether a network connection of the target mobile object is established (S101). The check is performed by exchanging messages by ad-hoc routing, etc. Next, the line control device 2 judges whether or not the target mobile network is connected to a plurality of wireless devices 3 (S102).
[0065] If the target mobile network is not connected to multiple wireless devices 3 (No), the process moves to (A). If the target mobile network is connected to multiple wireless devices 3 (Yes), the information on the mobile network notified by the mobile communication station of the target mobile device is confirmed (S103). The information obtained here is a response to the WHR Discovery message.
[0066] In the confirmation of step S103, it is determined whether the reach index (metric: number of hops) of the mobile network connection is the same value (S104). If the metrics have the same value (Yes), the transfer setting information for the target destination of the target mobile unit in the line control device 2 is confirmed (S105), and the process proceeds to (B). If the metrics are not the same (No), the wireless device 3 with the smaller metric is designated as the wireless device 3 to which the packet is to be forwarded (S106), and the process proceeds to (A).
[0067] As shown in FIG. 6, the line control device 2 judges the contents of the forwarding setting information from (B) shown in FIG. 5 (S201). If the forwarding setting information is set to "high efficiency forwarding (HRA communication)", proceed to (C). If the "target wireless device" is set, the process proceeds to (A), which is the same as (A) in FIG.
[0068] If "automatic" is set in the determination process S201, the following process is started for each of the wireless devices 3 that have sent mobile network notifications (S202). First, the quality information of the wireless device 3 is confirmed (S203). To execute HRE communication or HRA communication, the communication quality needs to satisfy a condition. As a confirmation process, it is determined whether the number of received subcarriers from the target moving object is equal to or greater than a specific number (threshold value / SCth) (S204).
[0069] If the number of received subcarriers is less than SCth (No), the process proceeds to step S208. If the number of received subcarriers is equal to or greater than SCth (Yes), the RSSI and the average and coefficient of variation of the equivalent error are calculated (S205). Then, the average and coefficient of variation of the line utilization rate are calculated (S206), and the wireless device 3 is registered as a transfer target (S207). The above process is carried out for each wireless device 3 that has notified the mobile network, and the process ends (S208) and the process proceeds to (D).
[0070] As shown in FIG. 7, following (D) in FIG. 6, the line controller 2 determines the number of wireless devices 3 to which the signal is to be forwarded (S301). If the number of wireless devices 3 to which the transfer is to be performed is "0", the wireless device 3 with the highest average RSSI is designated as the target wireless device (S302), and the process proceeds to (A), which is the same as (A) in FIGS. Also, when the number of wireless devices 3 to be forwarded is "1", the process shifts to (A).
[0071] If the number of wireless devices 3 to which the transfer is to be made is "two or more", processing is started for a number of devices to which the transfer is to be made that is equal to or less than the number of wireless devices to which the transfer is to be made (S303). First, it is determined whether the average RSSI is equal to or less than a specific value (threshold value / RssiTH) or whether the coefficient of variation is equal to or more than a specific value (threshold value / RssiCV) (S304). If the average RSSI is not equal to or less than a specific value and the coefficient of variation is not equal to or more than a specific value (No), the process proceeds to step S306.
[0072] If the average RSSI is equal to or less than a specific value, or if the coefficient of variation is equal to or more than a specific value (Yes), the wireless line is registered as being of low quality (S305). Next, it is determined whether the coefficient of variation of the equivalent error is equal to or greater than a specific value (threshold value / EqErrCV) (S306).
[0073] If the coefficient of variation of the equivalent error is equal to or greater than a specific value (Yes), the wireless line is registered as a low-quality wireless line (S307); if the coefficient of variation of the equivalent error is less than a specific value (No), the wireless line is registered as a high-quality wireless line (S308). Then, the above processing is completed for the number of wireless devices (S309), and the process proceeds to (E).
[0074] As shown in FIG. 8, following (E) in FIG. 7, the line control device 2 checks the number of high-quality wireless lines (S401). If there are "two or more high-quality wireless links," the process proceeds to (C), which is the same as (C) in Fig. 6. Then, the HRA packet is transferred to the wireless device 3 that is the HRA (high rate) target (S402), and the process ends.
[0075] If the number of high-quality wireless links is "one link", the process proceeds to (A). (A) is the same as (A) in Figs. 5 to 7. Then, data is transferred to the target wireless device 3 by a conventional IP packet (S403), and the process ends.
[0076] Moreover, if the number of high quality wireless links is "0 links", the link control device 2 checks the number of low quality wireless links (S404). If the number of low-quality wireless links is "one link", the process proceeds to step S403. If the number is "two or more links", the HRE packet is transferred to HRE (high reliability communication) target wireless devices 3 whose average link usage rate is less than 50% and whose coefficient of variation is less than 0.2 (S405), and the process ends. If the average line usage rate is 59% or more in step S405, the line with the least usage rate is selected, and data is transferred to the target wireless device 3 in a conventional IP packet, and the process ends. As described above, the transmission process shown in FIGS.
[0077] [Reception process flow in this line control device: Figures 9 and 10] The reception processing in the line control device 2 will be described with reference to Figures 9 and 10. Figure 9 is a flow diagram showing reception processing (1), and Figure 10 is a flow diagram showing reception processing (2). 9, when the line control device 2 starts receiving, it checks the received packet (S501). Then, it judges the type of the packet (S501). Depending on the type of the packet judged, a receiving process corresponding to an HRA packet, an HRE packet, or a normal IP packet is performed.
[0078] If the type of packet is a "normal (conventional) IP packet", it is transferred directly to the wired side (communication terminal 1) (S503), and the process ends. If the packet type is an "HRA packet", the Sequence Number is divided by the buffer size N (S504) to obtain the Sequence Head. This Sequence Head is used in the process described later.
[0079] Next, data that matches the UUID and Sequence Head is confirmed from a list of HRA hash values (HRA Hash list) (S505). Then, it is determined whether the UUID and Sequence Head are registered in the HRA Hash list (S506), and if they are registered, the HR list in the HASH entry is checked (S507), and the process proceeds to (G). The HR list is a list of the Sequence Number, Time Stamp, and extracted IP packets. Also, if it is not registered in the HRA Hash List, proceed to (H).
[0080] Returning to the determination process S502, if the packet type is an "HRE packet", data matching the UUID and Sequence Number is checked from the list of HRE hash values (HRE Hash list) (S508). Then, it is determined whether the UUID and Sequence Number have been registered in the HRE Hash list (S509), and if they have not been registered, the process proceeds to (I); if they have been registered, the received HRE packet is discarded (S510) and the process ends.
[0081] As shown in FIG. 10, following on from FIG. 9(G), the line control device 2 judges whether or not the same sequence number is registered (S511). If registered, the received HRA packet is discarded (S512) and the process ends. If not registered, the sequence number, the extracted IP packet, and the time stamp are registered in the HR list (S513).
[0082] Then, it is determined whether all packets from the Sequence Head to the buffer size N have been registered (S514). If the result of the determination in step S514 is that the IP packet has not been registered, the process is terminated. If the IP packet has been registered, the packets in the HR list are sorted in ascending order by time stamp and the IP packets are transferred to the communication terminal 1 in sequence (S515), and the process is terminated.
[0083] Continuing from (H) in FIG. 9, if not registered in step S506, the sequence number, time stamp, and a list of extracted IP packets (HR list) are generated and registered in the HR list using the UUID and sequence head as keys (S516), and the process ends. Continuing from (I) in FIG. 9, if the determination process S509 shows that the UUID and Sequence Number in the header of the HRE packet are not registered, the UUID and Sequence Number in the header of the HRE packet are registered in the HRE hash list (S516), the IP packet is extracted from the HRE packet, and transferred to communication terminal 1 (S518), and the process is terminated.
[0084] That is, the process in FIGS. 9 and 10 judges whether the received WHR packet is an HRE packet, an HRA packet, or a normal packet. A cache list of received packets is generated in each of HRE and HRA. In the case of HRE, the UUID and Sequence Number of the received HRE packet are registered in the cache list, and if a registered packet is received, the packet is discarded. If the packet is not registered, the IP packet is extracted and then forwarded to communication terminal 1.
[0085] In the case of HRA, an HR list is generated from the UUID of the received packet, and the Sequence Number, Time Stamp, and IP packet are stored in the HR list of buffer size N. The HRA buffer is received up to the buffer size N, and upon successful reception of all packets, the communication order is rearranged based on the time stamp or the like, and then the packets are transferred to the communication terminal 1.
[0086] [Effects of the embodiment] According to this system, the line control device 2 of the transmitting mobile communication station generates packets of a communication method set in accordance with the high reliability (HRE) communication method or high rate (HRA) communication method set by the transmitting communication terminal 1, and transmits the packets from multiple radio devices 3 in the transmitting mobile communication station. The line control device 2 of the receiving mobile communication station inputs packets from multiple radio devices 3 in the receiving mobile communication station that received the packets. If the communication method of the packets is the HRE communication method, the line control device 2 outputs the first packet that is received successfully to the receiving communication terminal 1, and if the communication method of the packets is the HRA communication method, the packets are rearranged in the order of transmission and output to the receiving communication terminal 1, thereby achieving the effect of realizing high-speed or high-reliability communication by effectively utilizing multiple radio devices.
