Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a building fitting frame.
Background Art
[0002] As a building fitting frame of a resin-made building fitting (resin sash) provided at an opening such as an outer wall of a building, a building fitting frame is known in which an intermediate frame such as a stile or a flush panel is provided inside an upper frame, a lower frame, and a pair of vertical frames provided along an edge of the opening (see, for example, Patent Document 1). The stile is disposed between the upper frame and the lower frame, and both ends in the length direction are joined to the upper frame and the lower frame. A V-shaped notch is formed in a portion where the stile of the upper frame and the lower frame is joined. The ends in the length direction of the stile are formed in a V shape that matches the notches of the upper frame and the lower frame, and are welded to the upper frame and the lower frame in a state of being fitted into the notches and in contact therewith. The flush panel is disposed between the pair of vertical frames, and both ends in the length direction are joined to the pair of vertical frames. The flush panel is also welded to the pair of vertical frames in the same manner as the stile.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] However, when an angle for fixing to a frame is provided so as to project from the upper frame, the lower frame, and the pair of vertical frames to the indoor side, the angle is also cut out by forming a V-shaped notch. Therefore, there is a problem that the production of the building fitting frame becomes complicated because the angle of the cut-out portion must be installed after joining the intermediate frame.
[0005] An object of the present disclosure is to provide a building fitting frame capable of easily joining an intermediate frame such as a stile or a flush panel to an outer peripheral frame such as an upper frame, a lower frame, and a pair of vertical frames. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] To achieve the above objective, the joinery frame according to this disclosure comprises an outer frame provided along an opening in the building structure, and an intermediate frame provided inside the outer frame and joined to the outer frame in a position where its longitudinal direction is perpendicular to the outer frame, wherein the end face of the intermediate frame in the longitudinal direction is a surface perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The exterior rib 69 is spaced above the third sash opposing plate portion 53 of the lower frame 32. The lower end surface 69a of the exterior rib 69 is located at the same height as the lower end surface 63a of the exterior plate portion 61 and the first exterior plate portion 63. The lower end surface 69a of the outdoor rib 69 is formed such that it is a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the mullion 6, that is, a horizontal plane when the mullion 6 is joined to the upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32. Although not shown in the figure, the upper end surface of the outdoor rib 69 is also formed such that it is a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the mullion 6, that is, a horizontal plane when the mullion 6 is joined to the upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32, similar to the lower end surface.
[0043] The indoor rib 70 includes a first indoor rib 701, a second indoor rib 702, a third indoor rib 703, and a fourth indoor rib 704. The first to fourth indoor ribs 701-704 are formed in a flat plate shape, and extend from the middle of the width direction of the indoor plate portion 62 towards the outdoor 14 side, with the plate surface parallel to the visible surface, and are connected to the second visible plate portion 64. The first to fourth indoor ribs 701-704 are arranged in this order from one side in the width direction to the other side in the width direction, and adjacent indoor ribs in the width direction are spaced apart in the width direction.
[0044] The first indoor rib 701 and the fourth indoor rib 704 are symmetrical with respect to each other in the width direction. The second indoor rib 702 and the third indoor rib 703 are symmetrical with respect to each other in the width direction. The indoor rib 70 is positioned in contact with the second indoor plate portion 442 of the lower frame 32. The lower end surface 70a of the indoor rib 70 is positioned at the same height as the lower end surface 64a of the second visible plate portion 64. The lower end surface 70a of the indoor rib 70 is formed so that it is a plane perpendicular to the length direction of the mullion 6, that is, a horizontal plane when the mullion 6 is joined to the upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32. Although not shown, the upper end surface of the indoor rib 70 is also formed so that it is a plane perpendicular to the length direction of the mullion 6, that is, a horizontal plane when the mullion 6 is joined to the upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32, similar to the lower end surface.
[0045] The upper and lower end surfaces of the first intermediate plate section 65, the second intermediate plate section 66, the third intermediate plate section 67, the fourth intermediate plate section 68, the outdoor-side rib 69, and the indoor-side rib 70 correspond to the upper end surface 6b (see Figure 1) and lower end surface 6a of the mullion 6. In other words, the upper end surface 6b and lower end surface 6a of the mullion 6 are formed to be surfaces perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the mullion 6.
[0046] The mullion 6 has a hollow section 71 formed within it, surrounded by a first visible plate section 63, a second visible plate section 64, a first intermediate plate section 65, and a second intermediate plate section 66. A core material 72 is placed in the hollow section 71 of the mullion.
[0047] The mullion 6 and the lower frame 32 are fixed together by a fixing member 8. The fixing member 8 is, for example, a metal member. As shown in Figures 6 and 7, the fixing member 8 includes a first fixing member 81 fixed to the second core material 324b of the lower frame 32, and a pair of second fixing members 82 that fix the first fixing member 81 to the core material 72 of the mullion 6.
[0048] The first fixing member 81 is a C-shaped member, positioned on the fifth shoji screen facing plate portion 55 of the lower frame 32 in a C-shape that opens upward when viewed from the indoor / outdoor direction. The first fixing member 81 has a frame fixing portion 83 positioned along the upper surface of the fifth shoji screen facing plate portion 55, and a pair of mullion fixing portions 84 that protrude upward from both ends in the width direction of the frame fixing portion 83. The frame fixing portion 83 is fixed to the second core material 324b of the lower frame 32 via the fifth shoji screen facing plate portion 55 with fasteners such as screws. The frame fixing portion 83 is fixed in a position on the second core material 324b opposite to the mullion 6. When the mullion 6 is positioned on the lower frame 32, the first fixing member 81 is inserted into the mullion hollow portion 71 of the mullion 6. The core material 72 of the mullion 6 is positioned above the lower end surface 6a of the mullion 6. The first fixing member 81, inserted into the hollow section 71 of the mullion, is located below the core material 72 of the mullion 6. The first fixing member 81 has a protruding piece 85 (see Figure 7) that protrudes upward from the end of the frame fixing section 83 on the interior 13 side.
[0049] As shown in Figures 6 and 7, the pair of second fixing members 82 are flat plate-shaped members. One of the pair of second fixing members 82 is positioned along one side of the second intermediate plate portion 66 of the mullion 6 in the width direction, and the other is positioned along the other side of the third intermediate plate portion 67 of the mullion 6 in the width direction. The lower part of the second fixing member 82 is positioned to overlap the mullion fixing portion 84 of the first fixing member 81 in the width direction via the first intermediate plate portion 65 or the second intermediate plate portion 66, and the upper part is positioned to overlap the core material 72 of the mullion 6 in the width direction via the first intermediate plate portion 65 or the second intermediate plate portion 66. The second fixing member 82 is fixed to the mullion fixing portion 84 and the core material 72 of the mullion 6 via the first intermediate plate portion 65 or the second intermediate plate portion 66 with fasteners such as screws. In this embodiment, a sealing material 86 is provided between the mullion 6 and the lower frame 32 (see Figure 8).
[0050] To fix the mullion 6 to the lower frame 32, the first fixing member 81 is fixed to the lower frame 32 and a sealing material 86 is installed, and the mullion 6 is placed on the lower frame 32 by inserting the first fixing member 81 into the hollow portion 71 of the mullion. The second fixing member 82 is used to fix the first fixing member 81 and the core material 72 of the mullion 6 from both sides in the width direction of the mullion 6. Fixing the mullion 6 to the upper frame 31 is done in the same way as fixing it to the lower frame 32.
[0051] The upper end surface 6b (see Figure 1) and lower end surface 6a of the mullion 6 of the door frame 1 are surfaces perpendicular to each other in the longitudinal direction (vertical direction). This eliminates the need to form notches in the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32 for inserting the ends of the mullion 6. As a result, the angles 46 of the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32 are not cut out, and there is no need to repair the angles 46 after the mullion 6 is installed. Consequently, the mullion 6 can be easily joined to the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32.
[0052] The mullion 6 of the door frame 1 is fixed to the upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32 with fixing members 8. This allows the mullion 6 to be firmly fixed to the upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32.
[0053] The fixing member 8 for securing the mullion 6 of the door frame 1 to the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32 is fixed to the second core material 324b provided on the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32. This allows the fixing member 8 to be firmly fixed to the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32.
[0054] The second core material 324b of the door frame 1 extends the core material (a core material for supporting the sash 212 of the fixed window) provided in the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32 that faces the sash 212 of the fixed window, to a position facing the mullion 6. A fixing member 8 for fixing the mullion 6 to the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32 is fixed to the position of the second core material 324b that faces the mullion 6. In this way, the core material provided in the part facing the sash 212 of the fixed window and the core material for fixing the fixing member 8 are integrated, so the mullion 6 can be easily joined to the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32 compared to the case where the core material provided in the part facing the sash 212 of the fixed window and the core material for fixing the fixing member 8 are provided separately.
[0055] (Second Embodiment) The same reference numerals are used for members and parts that are the same as or similar to those in the first embodiment described above, and their descriptions are omitted. The configurations that differ from the first embodiment will be described below. As shown in Figures 11 and 12, in the door frame 1B of the second embodiment, the mullion 6 is joined to the upper frame and lower frame 32 by welding without using a fixing member 8. The welding of the mullion 6 and the lower frame 32 will be described below. The basic shapes of the mullion 6 and the lower frame 32 in the second embodiment are the same as in the first embodiment.
[0056] In the second embodiment, the position where the mullions 6 are installed on the lower frame 32 is the same as in the first embodiment. The exterior panel 61 is welded to the second sash-facing panel 52 of the lower frame 32. The interior panel 62 is welded to the first interior panel 441 of the lower frame 32. The first visible panel 63 is welded to the fourth sash-facing panel 54 of the lower frame 32. The second visible panel 64 is welded to the second interior panel 442 of the lower frame 32. The first intermediate panel 65 and the second intermediate panel 66 are welded to the fifth sash-facing panel 55 of the lower frame 32. The third intermediate panel 67 and the fourth intermediate panel 68 are welded to the second interior panel 442 of the lower frame 32. The exterior rib 69 is positioned above the third sash-facing panel 53 of the lower frame 32 at a distance. The interior rib 70 is welded to the second interior plate portion 442 of the lower frame 32.
[0057] As shown in Figures 13, 14, and 15, the first visible plate portion 63, the second visible plate portion 64, the outdoor side rib 69, and the indoor side rib 70 have notches 73 formed at their lower ends. Figure 15 is a cross-sectional view of the mullion 6. In Figure 15, the areas where the notches are formed are indicated by a grid-like hatching. The depth dimension (vertical dimension) of the notches 73 is, for example, 2.5 mm. Although not shown, the first visible plate portion 63, the second visible plate portion 64, the outdoor side rib 69, and the indoor side rib 70 also have notches similar to those described above formed at their upper ends. In other words, notches 73 are formed on the upper and lower end faces of the mullion 6.
[0058] The first visible plate portion 63, the second visible plate portion 64, the outdoor side rib 69, and the indoor side rib 70 have notches 73, which create gaps between them and the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32 when they are placed on the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32 before welding. These gaps created by the notches 73 become the welding allowance when the mullions 6 are welded to the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32, allowing the molten resin to flow in. The notches 73 of the second visible plate portion 64 are formed only in the middle portion in the width direction. In the second embodiment, since no fixing member 8 is used as in the first embodiment, a core material does not need to be placed at the positions where the mullions 6 of the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32 face each other.
[0059] The mullion 6 of the door frame 1B is welded to the upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32. This allows the mullion 6 to be firmly fixed to the upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32.
[0060] The mullion 6 of the door frame 1B has notches 73 formed on its upper and lower end surfaces 6a. This allows the notches 73 to act as a welding allowance when the mullion 6 is welded to the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32, preventing the molten resin from leaking out. As a result, the mullion 6 can be easily and aesthetically joined to the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32.
[0061] This disclosure is not limited to the embodiments described above and can be modified as appropriate. For example, although the above embodiments describe the structure for joining the mullion 6 to the upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32, the above structure may be adopted when joining a transom extending in the left-right direction to a pair of vertical frames, with the mullion 6 being a transom and the upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32 being a pair of vertical frames.
[0062] The joinery frames 1 and 1B in the above embodiment are joinery frames for a series of windows in which a vertical sliding window and a fixed window are adjacent in the width direction via a mullion 6. However, the types of windows arranged via the mullion 6 may be other than vertical sliding windows and fixed windows. Vertical sliding windows and fixed windows may be adjacent to other types of windows, or windows of the same type may be adjacent to each other. The number of windows adjacent in the width direction may be three or more. The number and types of windows adjacent in the vertical direction via a transom may also be set as appropriate.
[0063] The joinery may be configured such that mullions are provided in areas divided vertically by the transoms on the inside of the joinery frame (the area between the transom and the upper frame, the area between the transom and the lower frame, and, if multiple transoms are provided, the area between the upper transom and the lower transom), and multiple windows are arranged in the width direction via the mullions. Alternatively, the joinery may be configured such that mullions are provided in areas divided vertically by the mullions on the inside of the joinery frame (the area between the mullion and one vertical frame, the area between the mullion and the other vertical frame, and, if multiple mullions are provided, the area between one mullion in the width direction and the other mullion in the width direction), and multiple windows are arranged in the width direction via the mullions.
[0064] In the above embodiment, the mullions 6 are joined to the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32 using fixing brackets and by welding. The mullions 6 may also be joined to the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32 by adhesive bonding or the like. The mullions 6 may be bonded to the upper frame 31 and lower frame 32 with adhesive bonding or the like, and then further fixed using fixing members 8. The shape of the fixing brackets may be other than those described above.
[0065] In the first embodiment described above, the upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32 are provided with a core material for fixing the fixing member 8, which is integrated with the core material for supporting the facing material 23 of the fixed window. The upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32 may also be provided with a dedicated core material for fixing the fixing member 8. The shape of the core material 324 provided in the upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32 may be different from that described above. The shape of the core material 324 may be different in the upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32.
[0066] In the second embodiment described above, notches 73 are formed in the mullion 6 to serve as welding allowances when the mullion 6 is welded to the upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32. When the mullion 6 is welded to the upper frame 31 and the lower frame 32, it is not necessary for the mullion 6 to have notches 73 formed in it. If notches are formed in the mullion 6, the position and number of notches 73 and the depth dimensions of the notches 73 may be set as appropriate.
[0067] In the above embodiment, an angle 46 is provided on the outer frame 3, but the angle 46 is not required. The angle 46 may be molded integrally with the indoor side portion 44, or it may be a separate component from the indoor side portion 44 and fixed with adhesive or the like. [Explanation of Symbols]
