Abstract

【Problem】 To provide an intravascular insertion aid for a medical needle or catheter that fixes the needle or catheter so that it does not shift from a blood vessel and enables reliable insertion into the blood vessel. 【Solution】 The intravascular insertion aid for a medical needle or catheter of the present invention includes a lower base portion disposed on the skin, an upper operation portion rotatably provided on the lower base portion, and a pair of compression fixing portions that extend from the upper operation portion and the lower base portion and open and close in response to the rotation operation of the upper operation portion to hold a tissue including a blood vessel. Between the upper operation portion, the lower base portion, and the pair of compression fixing portions, there is a connecting portion that forms a palpable gap. The success rate of insertion can be made sufficiently high by palpation. 【Selected Drawing】 Figure 1
