Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to an adhesive fixing structure for a position fixing member and a position fixing member.

Background Art

[0002] Patent Document 1 discloses a conventional adhesive fixing structure for a position fixing member. This adhesive fixing structure for a position fixing member includes a mounting member, an adhesive layer, and a position fixing member. The position fixing member is adhesively fixed to the mounting member by the adhesive layer. By attaching the position fixing member adhesively fixed to the mounting member to the member to be mounted, the mounting member is position-fixed with respect to the member to be mounted. A plurality of position fixing members are adhesively fixed to the peripheral edge of the mounting member.

[0003] The mounting member has an adherend surface. The adhesive layer provided on the adherend surface is made of a hot-melt type adhesive that adheres the position fixing member to the adherend surface. The position fixing member has a rectangular plate-shaped fixing portion. The surface of the fixing portion facing the adherend surface is defined as the fixing surface.

[0004] A plurality of through holes penetrating in the plate thickness direction of the fixing portion are provided at the peripheral edge of the fixing portion. The adhesive layer has a main body portion and a plurality of protruding portions that are integrally formed with the main body portion and protrude from the main body portion in the thickness direction of the adhesive layer. The main body portion is interposed between the adherend surface and the fixing surface and adhered to the adherend surface and the fixing surface. The protruding portion is filled in substantially the whole of the through hole and adhered to the side surface of the through hole.

[0005] Each through hole is formed in a tapered shape in which the hole diameter gradually increases from the fixing surface, which is the back surface of the fixing portion, toward the surface side of the fixing portion. Thereby, the protruding portion filled in the through hole and adhered to the side surface of the through hole exhibits an anchor effect. For this reason, the adhesive fixing structure of the position fixing member with respect to the mounting member is strengthened.

[0006] Patent Document 1 Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-183346 Summary of the Invention Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0007] However, in the conventional adhesive fixing structure of the position fixing member, when adhering and fixing the position fixing member to the mounting member, the hot melt type adhesive interposed between the adherend surface and the fixing surface is heated and softened, and the softened adhesive is filled into the blind hole by pressing the position fixing member against the mounting member.

[0008] Therefore, heating and pressing are required when adhering and fixing the position fixing member to the mounting member, and the working efficiency is not good. In addition, in order to fill the blind hole with the adhesive, it is necessary to press the position fixing member against the mounting member before the adhesive hardens, so there is also a risk that the position fixing member may be displaced.

[0009] The present invention has been made in view of the above conventional situation, and an object of the present invention is to provide an adhesive fixing structure for a position fixing member and a position fixing member that have good working efficiency when adhering and fixing a position fixing member to a mounting member and can suppress displacement of the position fixing member. Means for Solving the Problems

[0010] The adhesive fixing structure of the position fixing member of the present invention is an adhesive fixing structure of a position fixing member in which a position fixing member for fixing the mounting member to the mounted member is adhesively fixed to the mounting member by being fixed to the mounting member and attached to the mounted member, the mounting member having an adherend surface, the position fixing member having a plate-shaped fixing portion whose opposing surface to the adherend surface is a fixing surface, and an adhesive layer made of a moisture-curing type adhesive that adheres to the mounting member and the position fixing member. The position fixing member has a notch portion that penetrates in the plate thickness direction of the fixing portion and extends inward from the outer edge of the fixing portion by a predetermined length. The adhesive layer includes a main body portion interposed between the adherend surface and the fixing surface and adhered to the adherend surface and the fixing surface, and an overhanging portion formed integrally with the main body portion, existing in the notch portion, and adhered to the adherend surface and the side surface of the notch portion.

[0011] In the adhesion fixing structure of the position fixing member of the present invention, a moisture-curing adhesive is used for the adhesive layer. The moisture-curing adhesive reacts with moisture in the air and cures. Therefore, it is not necessary to heat the adhesive. Further, by applying the adhesive within an appropriate range, the adhesive can be easily present in the notch portion. Therefore, compared with the conventional technique of heating and softening the adhesive and pressing the position fixing member against the mounting member to fill the heated and softened adhesive into the hole, the working efficiency is good.

[0012] Furthermore, since it is not essential to press the position fixing member against the mounting member when the adhesive is in an uncured state, displacement of the position fixing member can be suppressed. Moreover, the overhanging portion existing in the notch portion has an outer surface other than the surface adhered to the adherend surface and the side surface of the notch portion exposed to the outside air within the notch portion. Therefore, the overhanging portion of the adhesive layer made of the moisture-curing adhesive cures early with the outer surface exposed to the outside air within the notch portion. Thus, displacement of the position fixing member with respect to the mounting member can be effectively suppressed.

[0013] Therefore, the adhesion fixing structure of the position fixing member of the present invention has good working efficiency when adhering and fixing the position fixing member to the mounting member, and moreover, can suppress displacement of the position fixing member.

[0014] The notch portions are preferably provided in pairs at positions facing the outer edge of the fixing portion, and the overhanging portions are respectively provided in each notch portion. In this case, the position fixing member can be quickly adhered and fixed to the mounting member on both sides facing the outer edge of the fixing portion.

[0015] The member for fixing the position is preferably a clip seat or a reference pin seat.

[0016] When the member for fixing the position is a clip seat, the clip seat can be attached to the member to be attached by engaging a clip integrated with the clip seat with an engagement hole provided in the member to be attached. Therefore, by attaching a plurality of clip seats adhesively fixed to the peripheral edge portion or the like of the attachment member to the member to be attached, the attachment member can be attached while fixing the position of the attachment member with respect to the member to be attached.

[0017] When the member for fixing the position is a reference pin seat, the reference pin seat can be fixed in position and positioned on the member to be attached by inserting a reference pin integrated with the reference pin seat into a reference hole provided in the member to be attached. Therefore, by fixing the position and positioning the reference pin seat adhesively fixed to a predetermined position of the attachment member to the member to be attached, the attachment member can be positioned with respect to the member to be attached.

[0018] The attachment member is preferably an interior or exterior member for a vehicle. In this case, the interior or exterior member as the attachment member can be fixed in position at a predetermined location such as the body of the vehicle body.

[0019] The member for fixing the position of the present invention is used in the adhesive fixing structure of the member for fixing the position of the present invention.

[0020] Therefore, the member for fixing the position of the present invention has good work efficiency when adhesively fixing the member for fixing the position to the attachment member, and can suppress displacement of the member for fixing the position.

Effects of the Invention

[0021] According to the adhesive fixing structure and the member for fixing the position of the present invention, the work efficiency is good when adhesively fixing the member for fixing the position to the attachment member, and displacement of the member for fixing the position can be suppressed.

Similarly, the protruding portion 44B existing in the notch portion 22c is adhered to the adhered surface 32b within the notch portion 22c, and is also adhered to the first side surface 221c, the second side surface 222c, and the third side surface 223c. Similarly, the protruding portion 44B existing in the notch portion 22d is adhered to the adhered surface 32b within the notch portion 22d, and is also adhered to the first side surface 221d, the second side surface 222d, and the third side surface 223d.

[0053] The adhesive layer 40A in the clip seat 10 and the adhesive layer 40B in the reference pin seat 20 are both made of the same moisture-curing adhesive. Specifically, as the moisture-curing adhesive, a one-component urethane-based adhesive mainly composed of a modified urethane resin was used.

[0054] To adhesively fix the clip seat 10 to the attachment member 32, first, an adhesive is applied to a predetermined portion of the adherend surface 32b of the attachment member 32. Specifically, at each of the four corners of the adherend surface 32b, the adhesive is applied to the portion corresponding to the formation range AR of the adhesive layer 40A in the first fixing portion 14 and the portion corresponding to the formation range AR of the adhesive layer 40A in the second fixing portion 16. At this time, if the adhesive is applied to the entire range slightly larger than the formation range AR of the adhesive layer 40A, the adhesive layer 40A can be surely formed over the entire formation range AR. As described above, the formation range AR is formed to protrude outward toward the outer edge of the clip seat 10 from the third side surfaces 143a to 143c and 163a to 163c of the respective notch portions 14a to 14c and 16a to 16c. Then, the clip seat 10 is arranged at a predetermined portion of the adherend surface 32b of the attachment member 32. At this time, the clip seat 10 is arranged with respect to the portion of the adherend surface 32b where the adhesive is applied so that the adhesive oozes out and is exposed from all the notch portions 14a to 14c and 16a to 16c in the first fixing portion 14 and the second fixing portion 16. Thereafter, if left for a predetermined time, the adhesive reacts with the moisture in the air and cures. Thereby, the clip seat 10 is adhesively fixed to the adherend surface 32b of the attachment member 32.

[0055] Similarly, to adhesively fix the reference pin seat 20 to the mounting member 32, first, an adhesive is applied to a predetermined portion of the adherend surface 32b of the mounting member 32. Specifically, the adhesive is applied to a portion corresponding to the formation range AR of the adhesive layer 40B at the upper end of the center in the longitudinal direction of the adherend surface 32b. At this time, if the adhesive is applied to the entire range slightly larger than the formation range AR of the adhesive layer 40B, the adhesive layer 40B can be surely formed over the entire formation range AR. As described above, the formation range AR is formed to protrude outward toward the outer edge of the reference pin seat 20 from the third side surfaces 223a to 223d of the respective cutout portions 22a to 22d. Then, the reference pin seat 20 is disposed at a predetermined portion of the adherend surface 32b of the mounting member 32. At this time, the reference pin seat 20 is disposed with respect to the portion of the adherend surface 32b where the adhesive is applied so that the adhesive oozes out and is exposed from all the cutout portions 22a to 22d in the fixing portion 22. Thereafter, if left for a predetermined time, the adhesive reacts with moisture in the air and cures. Thereby, the reference pin seat 20 is adhesively fixed to the adherend surface 32b of the mounting member 32.

[0056] The mounting member 32 to which the clip seat 10 and the reference pin seat 20 are adhesively fixed is attached to the member to be attached 36 while being positioned by inserting the reference pin 24 of the reference pin seat 20 into the reference hole of the member to be attached 36 and engaging the clip 18 of each clip seat 10 with the engagement hole of the member to be attached 36.

[0057] In the adhesive fixing structure 30 of the positioning member according to the third embodiment having the above configuration, moisture-curing type adhesives that react with moisture in the air and cure are used for the adhesive layers 40A and 40B. For this reason, it is not necessary to heat the adhesive. Further, by disposing the clip seat 10 and the reference pin seat 20 while aligning them with respect to the adhesive applied to a predetermined portion of the adherend surface 32b in a predetermined size, the adhesive can be easily present in each of the cutout portions 14a to 14c, 16a to 16c, and 22a to 22d. For this reason, the working efficiency when adhesively fixing the clip seat 10 and the reference pin seat 20 to the mounting member 32 is good.

[0058] Furthermore, since it is not essential to press the clip seat 10 and the reference pin seat 20 against the mounting member 32 when the adhesive is in an uncured state, displacement of the clip seat 10 and the reference pin seat 20 can be suppressed. Moreover, in the protruding portions 44A and 44B existing in the respective notches 14a to 14c, 16a to 16c, and 22a to 22d, the outer surface 46 (see FIGS. 15 and 17) other than the adhesive surface is exposed to the outside air within the respective notches 14a to 14c, 16a to 16c, and 22a to 22d. Taking the notch 14b as an example and referring to FIGS. 14 and 15, the protruding portion 44A within the notch 14b has the outer surface 46 other than the adhesive surface adhered to the adhered surface 32b and the first to third side surfaces 141a to 143a exposed to the outside air. In particular, among the outer surface 46, the outer side surface 46a, which is the surface on the side opposite to the center of the first fixing portion 14 (in other words, the surface located on the opening surface of the notch 14b that opens toward the outer edge of the first fixing portion 14), is exposed to the outside air. The same applies to the other notches 14a, 14c, 16a to 16c, and 22a to 22d. For this reason, the protruding portions 44A and 44B of the adhesive layers 40A and 40B made of a moisture-curing adhesive are cured early by the outer surface 46 exposed to the outside air within the respective notches 14a to 14c, 16a to 16c, and 22a to 22d.

[0059] If the outer surfaces 46 of the protruding portions 44A and 44B are cured early within the respective notches 14a to 14c, 16a to 16c, and 22a to 22d in this way, the first side surface and the second side surface facing each other in the respective notches 14a to 14c, 16a to 16c, and 22a to 22d are adhesively fixed to the adhered surface 32b. Taking the notch 14b as an example, the first side surface 141b and the second side surface 142b facing each other, that is, the first side surface 141b and the second side surface 142b that sandwich the opening portion of the notch 14b, are adhesively fixed to the adhered surface 32b.

[0060] Therefore, displacement of the clip seat 10 and the reference pin seat 20 with respect to the mounting member 32 can be effectively suppressed.

[0061] Therefore, the adhesion fixing structure 30 of the position fixing member in Example 3 has good working efficiency when adhesively fixing the clip seat 10 and the reference pin seat 20 to the mounting member 32, and can suppress the displacement of the clip seat 10 and the reference pin seat 20.

[0062] In the first fixing portion 14 of the clip seat 10, the notch portion 14b and the notch portion 14c are provided opposite to each other at the outer edge of the first fixing portion 14, and the protruding portions 44A are respectively provided in the notch portions 14b and 14c. Also, in the second fixing portion 16 of the clip seat 10, the notch portion 16b and the notch portion 16c are provided opposite to each other at the outer edge of the second fixing portion 16, and the protruding portions 44A are respectively provided in the notch portions 16b and 16c. Therefore, on both sides in the longitudinal direction of the clip seat 10, on both opposite sides of the outer edge of the clip seat 10, the clip seat 10 can be adhesively fixed to the mounting member 32 at an early stage.

[0063] In the reference pin seat 20, the notch portion 22a and the notch portion 22c are provided opposite to each other at the outer edge of the fixing portion 22, and the notch portion 22b and the notch portion 22d are provided opposite to each other at the outer edge of the fixing portion 22, and the protruding portions 44B are respectively provided in the notch portions 22a to 22d. Therefore, on the four sides of the reference pin seat 20, the reference pin seat 20 can be adhesively fixed to the mounting member 32 at an early stage.

[0064] In particular, as in this embodiment, when the clip seat 10 and the reference pin seat 20 are adhesively fixed to the mounting member 32 only by an adhesive without providing fixing means or temporary fixing means other than the adhesive, the early curing of the adhesive is important for suppressing the displacement of the clip seat 10 and the reference pin seat 20. In this regard, in the adhesion fixing structure of the position fixing member in Example 3, since the adhesive cures early as described above, the displacement of the clip seat 10 and the reference pin seat 20 can be effectively suppressed without providing fixing means or temporary fixing means other than the adhesive.

[0065] In the above description, the present invention has been described with reference to Examples 1 to 3. However, the present invention is not limited to the above Examples 1 to 3, and it goes without saying that it can be appropriately modified and applied without departing from the spirit thereof.

[0066] For example, a reference pin may be integrally formed on the clip seat to which the clip is attached. Further, a reference pin as a separate body may be attached to the reference pin seat or the clip seat. Furthermore, the shape of the clip seat or the reference pin seat, and the outer shape of the fixing portion in the clip seat or the reference pin seat can be appropriately set, and the position and number of the notch portions provided on the outer edge of the fixing portion can also be appropriately set.

[0067] The type of the moisture-curing adhesive can be appropriately selected according to the required characteristics. For example, silicone rubber, a special modified silicone resin, a silyl group-containing special polymer, or a cyanoacrylate-based moisture-curing adhesive can be used.

[0068] The attachment member is not limited to the exterior member for a vehicle, and may be an interior member for a vehicle. Further, it may be a member used for mechanical equipment, a building, or the like.
