Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a chimney, and more particularly to an inspection hatch structure for a chimney. [Background technology]

[0002] Chimneys with inspection hatches are well known. For example, in the chimney of Patent Document 1, a rectangular inspection hatch is opened in the peripheral wall at the bottom of the chimney body. The inspection hatch is provided with an opening / closing door. The opening / closing door is vertical. The top and bottom inner surfaces of the inspection hatch are horizontal, and the left and right inner surfaces are vertical. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0003] [Patent Document 1] Jpn. Jpn. Appl. KOKAI Publication No. 63-002744 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0004] In this type of chimney, there have been cases where condensation water that forms inside the chimney or rainwater that runs down the inner wall of the chimney has leaked out through the gap between the inner surface of the inspection hatch and the opening and closing door. In view of the above circumstances, the present invention aims to prevent condensation water and rainwater from leaking to the outside through an inspection hatch in a chimney with an inspection hatch. [Means for solving the problem]

[0005] In order to solve the above problem, the chimney of the present invention has a chimney body and an inspection hatch formed in the peripheral wall of the lower part of the chimney body, and is characterized in that the lower inner surface of the inspection hatch is sloped downward toward the inside of the chimney body.

[0006] With this chimney, condensation water generated inside the chimney and rainwater running down the chimney's inner wall reaches the lower inner surface of the inspection hatch and then flows down the downward slope of the lower inner surface into the chimney, preventing condensation water and rainwater from leaking out through the inspection hatch to the outside. Preferably, a drainage channel is provided at the bottom of the chimney. The water that flows down is drained through the drainage channel. The inspection hatch is lowered toward the inside of the chimney, making it easy to visually check the drainage channel for clogging.

[0007] Preferably, the inspection hatch is provided with an opening / closing door, and the opening / closing door is inclined upward with respect to the vertical so as to be perpendicular to the lower inner surface. This allows the door to close naturally under its own weight, preventing it from being left half-open. [Effects of the Invention]

[0008] The chimney according to the present invention can prevent condensation water generated inside the chimney and rainwater running down the inner wall of the chimney from leaking to the outside through the inspection hatch. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

[0009] [Figure 1] FIG. 1 is a side cross-sectional view showing a lower part of a chimney according to one embodiment of the present invention, taken along line II in FIG. [Figure 2] FIG. 2 is a plan cross-sectional view taken along line II-II in FIG. [Figure 3] FIG. 3 is a front view taken along line III-III in FIG. [Figure 4] FIG. 4 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the circle IV in FIG. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0010] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIG. 1, the chimney 1 comprises a chimney body 10 and an inspection hatch 20. The chimney body 10 includes an insulating wall 13, an outer wall 14, and an inner wall 15, and extends vertically (up and down). The insulating wall 13 is made of a hard insulating material such as calcium silicate. The outer wall 14 is provided on the outer surface of the insulating wall 13. The inner wall 15 is provided on the inner surface of the insulating wall 13. The outer wall 14 and the inner wall 15 are made of metal plates such as steel plates.

[0011] As shown in FIG. 2, the cross-sectional shape of the chimney body 10 is circular, but is not limited to this and may be rectangular or other polygonal shapes.

[0012] As shown in Fig. 1, an inspection hatch 20 is opened in the peripheral wall 11 at the bottom of the chimney body 10. The inspection hatch 20 is inclined slightly upward toward the outside of the chimney. More specifically, as shown in Figures 1 and 3, a rectangular inspection hatch frame member 21 is provided on one side of the lower peripheral wall 11 of the chimney body 10. The inspection hatch frame member 21 includes an upper frame member 22, a lower frame member 23, and left and right side frame members 24. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, each of the frame members 22-24, like the chimney body 10, has an insulating wall 25 made of a hard insulating material such as calcium silicate, and an outer wall 26 and an inner wall 27 made of a metal plate such as a steel plate. These four frame members 22-24 are assembled into a quadrangle, and a rectangular inspection hatch 20 is defined inside them. As shown in Figure 1, the upper surface of the lower frame member 23 forms the lower inner surface 20b of the inspection hatch 20.

[0013] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the end face of the inspection hatch frame material 21 on the inside of the chimney is flush with the inner circumferential surface of the peripheral wall 11. The end face of the inspection hatch frame material 21 on the outside of the chimney protrudes from the outer surface of the peripheral wall 11. As shown in Figure 1, the upper frame member 22 and the lower frame member 23 are parallel to each other and are slightly inclined upward toward the outside of the chimney. As a result, the lower inner surface 20b of the inspection hatch 20 is sloped downward toward the inside of the chimney body 10.

[0014] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 4, the joint surfaces 11f and 11g of the peripheral wall 11 with the upper and lower frame members 22 and 23 are inclined in accordance with the inclination of these frame members 22 and 23.

[0015] As shown in FIG. 3 , the inspection hatch 20 is provided with an opening / closing door 30. The opening / closing door 30 is rectangular and sized to fit the inspection hatch 20. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 , the opening / closing door 30, like the chimney body 10 and the inspection hatch frame 21, has an insulating wall 31 made of a hard insulating material such as calcium silicate, and an outer wall 32 and an inner wall 33 made of a metal plate such as a steel plate. When the opening / closing door 30 is in the closed state, the inner wall 33 and the insulating wall 31 fit within the inspection hatch 20. A peripheral edge 32e of the outer wall 32 protrudes beyond the peripheral edge of the insulating wall 31. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 , the peripheral edge 32e is fixed to the end face 21e of the inspection hatch frame 21 on the chimney outside via a gasket 35 using fixing means such as screws 34. The opening / closing door 30 can be removed from the inspection hatch 20 by releasing the fixation. This allows the inspection hatch 20 to be opened or closed.

[0016] As shown in Fig. 4, the end face 21e of the inspection hatch frame material 21 on the chimney outer side is tilted slightly upward so as to be perpendicular to the lower inner surface 20b of the inspection hatch 20. For this reason, as shown in Figs. 1 and 4, the opening and closing door 30 is tilted slightly upward with respect to the vertical and is perpendicular to the lower inner surface 20b.

[0017] 4, the angle θ of the lower inner surface 20b with respect to the horizontal is preferably about 1° to 10°, and more preferably about 4°. The angle θ of the lower inner surface 20b is equal to the inclination angle of the opening and closing door 30 with respect to the vertical.

[0018] As shown in FIG. 1, a base plate 40 is provided immediately below the inspection hatch 20 in the chimney 1. The base plate 40 forms the bottom of the chimney 1. The upper surface of the base plate 40 forms the bottom surface of the internal space of the chimney 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "chimney inner bottom surface 41"). A drainage passage 42 made of a pipe or the like is provided in the base plate 40. The end of the drainage passage 42 opens into the chimney inner bottom surface 41. The chimney inner bottom surface 41 is sloped downward toward the opening 42a of the drainage passage 42. The opening 42a is disposed in the center of the inner bottom surface 41 of the chimney, but is not limited thereto, and may be provided in the peripheral portion of the inner bottom surface 41 of the chimney.

[0019] With this chimney 1, when condensation water or rainwater adhering to the inner wall 15 flows down along the inner wall 15 and reaches the lower inner surface 20b of the inspection hatch 20, it flows down the downward slope of the lower inner surface 20b into the interior of the chimney and is discharged from the opening 42a in the inner bottom surface 41 of the chimney into the drainage channel 42. This prevents condensation water or rainwater from leaking out of the chimney from the inspection hatch 20.

[0020] By opening the opening and closing door 30, the inside of the chimney can be inspected through the inspection hatch 20. Because the inspection hatch 20 is angled downward toward the inside of the chimney, it is easy to visually check the clogging state of the drainage path 42, etc. Once the inspection is complete, close the door 30. Because the door 30 is tilted upward, its own weight acts in the closing direction. Therefore, even if the door 30 is not properly closed, the door 30 can be made to close naturally, preventing it from becoming half-open.

[0021] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. For example, the upper edge surface of the access hatch may be horizontal. The door may be a hinged single door or a double door. [Industrial Applicability]

[0022] The present invention can be applied to chimneys with hoods attached to buildings such as commercial buildings and factories. [Explanation of symbols]
