Distal Femoral Alignment System

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a distal femoral alignment system (1) comprising a resection guide (3), particularly a resection guide block (3), for guiding a resection cutting tool, and an adjustment device (4) for adjusting the resection guide (3), the adjustment device (4) being adapted to be temporarily fixed to the femur (2) and comprising an angle adjustment module for adjusting an angle (α) between the resection guide (3) and the femur (2) and a height adjustment module for adjusting a cutting height (hc) between the resection guide (3) and the femur (2), each of the angle adjustment module and the height adjustment module comprising manually operable user adjustment elements (7, 8), the user adjustment elements (7, 8) being supported on and rotatable about a common rotation axis (R) so as to be operable separately and independently for angle adjustment and height adjustment.
