AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Conventional door leaf support structures require a protruding portion for hinge attachment, necessitating separate construction and increasing construction costs, and outdoor installations face instability due to stress on support structures, leading to deterioration and reduced mounting stability.

Method used

A support structure for outdoor installations using a base bracket with a main body portion protruding from the wall, attached via a fixing piece, where the gap between the exterior material and main body is filled with joint material, and the outdoor installation is attached to the protruding end surface of the main body, reducing load on the wall and preventing water ingress.

Benefits of technology

Improves support strength and mounting stability of outdoor installations by reducing load on the wall and protecting it from water ingress, while allowing for the passage of electric and communication wires.

Abstract

To improve the support strength when supporting outdoor installations, and to improve the mounting stability of the outdoor installations.SOLUTION: An outdoor installation 14a is supported on a wall 13a via a base bracket 30. The wall 13a comprises a wall body having a wall surface 19a and an exterior cladding material 17 covering the wall surface 19a. The base bracket 30 has a body portion 31 arranged to protrude from the wall surface 19a and a fixing piece 33 integrally formed with the body portion 31 and fixed to the wall surface 19a. A through opening 17e is formed in the exterior cladding material 17 at the position where the body portion 31 is arranged. A joint filler 17d is filled into a gap between the peripheral edge of the through opening 17e and the body portion 31. A tip surface of the body portion 31 in a protruding direction protrudes outward beyond a surface of the exterior cladding material 17. The outdoor installation 14a is mounted to the tip surface 32 of the body portion 31 in the protruding direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
