AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing self-standing packaging bags face issues with manufacturing defects due to relative shifting of outer and inner bags, leading to potential leakage of contents during impact.

Method used

A self-standing packaging bag design with a pair of main body parts and a bottom material, where the outer and inner sheet members are integrated via an intermediate material, allowing them to separate upon impact, thereby preventing simultaneous damage and leakage.

Benefits of technology

The design ensures reliable manufacturing with reduced defects and effective prevention of content leakage from the bottom material during impacts.

Abstract

To provide a self-standing packaging bag that can suppress contents from leaking out from a bottom material due to impact caused when the bag falls, with high reliability, and a manufacturing method for the same.SOLUTION: A self-standing packaging bag comprises a pair of body parts erected with each other and bottom materials made to adhere to the pair of main body parts, respectively, where the pair of body parts and the bottom materials define a sealed space. Each of the bottom materials has an outer sheet member, an inner sheet member positioned between the outer sheet member and the sealed space, and an intermediate body positioned between the outer sheet member and the inner sheet member. The outer sheet member has a base material layer and a sealant layer positioned between the base material layer and the inner sheet member. In an edge region of the bottom material, the sealant layer and the inner sheet member are integrated with each other and are made to adhere to either of the pair of body parts. In a main region surrounded by the edge region in the bottom material, the outer sheet member and the inner sheet member are integrated with each other to be separatable from each other through the intermediate body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
