Abstract

To provide an optical fiber connector that is excellent in heat radiation, high in a degree of freedom in design, small in manufacturing error upon manufacturing, easy in manufacturing, excellent in maintainability, and has a cooling function by a cooling medium with high quality and high durability, and durable even to a further high output transmission in the future.SOLUTION: An optical fiber connector has: a connection part that is located on a side to which an end part of an optical fiber connects; an insertion part which extends in a longitudinal direction of the optical fiber, and through which an optical fiber core wire is inserted; an introduction part that introduces a cooling medium; an ejection part that ejects the cooling medium; and a cooling medium flow channel that is formed in the interior of the connector so as to run along the insertion part. The cooling medium flow channel has a flow channel from the introduction part to the ejection part via a vicinity of the connection part integrally molded by a 3D (three-dimensional) printer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
