Abstract
To provide an indoor unit for an air conditioner that suppresses generation of jar.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a heat insulation material having a first surface, a second surface, and a through hole penetrating in a first direction from the first surface toward the second surface; and a body having a projection inserted into the through hole. The projection has a flat plate shape including a first main surface, a second main surface, a first side surface, and a second side surface. The projection has a tip exposed from the through hole. The first side surface includes a first inclined surface exposed from the through hole and inclined relative to the first direction, and the second side surface includes a second inclined surface exposed from the through hole and inclined relative to the first direction. The first inclined surface and the second inclined surface are inclined in a direction separated from each other toward the tip. Viewed from the first direction, in a direction from the first main surface toward the second main surface, a dimension of the projection is smaller than that of the through hole. The heat insulation material is mounted to the body by coming into contact with the first inclined surface and the second inclined surface of the projection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6A
