Abstract

The problem to be solved of the present invention is to identify a regulatory factor of a tumor immune microenvironment and to provide a therapeutic use of the regulatory factor. Specifically, the present invention is an inhibitor of accumulation of a myeloid-derived suppressor cell (MDSC) in a tumor immune microenvironment (TIME), the inhibitor including, as an active ingredient, a substance for suppressing or inhibiting a function of an immune regulatory factor that is released from a tumor dead cell. More specifically, for example, the present invention is the inhibitor including a substance for suppressing or inhibiting a function of translationally controlled tumor protein (TCTP).

Claims

1. An inhibitor for the accumulation of myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) in the tumor immune microenvironment (TIME), comprising as an active ingredient a substance that suppresses or inhibits the function of TCTP (translationally controlled tumor protein) released from tumor dead cells, wherein the substance that suppresses or inhibits the function of TCTP is an anti-TCTP antibody.

2. The inhibitor according to claim 1, wherein the myeloid-derived immunosuppressor cells are polymorphonuclear myeloid-derived suppressor cells (PMN-MDSCs).

3. A therapeutic agent or therapeutic composition for cancer, comprising the inhibitor described in claim 1 or claim 2 as an active ingredient.

4. The therapeutic agent or therapeutic composition according to claim 3, wherein the cancer is colorectal cancer, malignant melanoma, or fibrosarcoma.
