Abstract

To provide a device and method which can improve the reliability of voltage measurement by reducing an error in the voltage measurement in a process of measuring the voltage of each secondary battery included in a battery module.SOLUTION: A voltage measurement device measures voltage on both ends of each of a plurality of secondary batteries 10 included in a battery module BM. The battery module further includes a bus bar B. The bus bar is electrically connected between a negative electrode terminal N0 of one of the plurality of secondary batteries and a negative electrode terminal MV of the battery module. The voltage measurement device 100 includes a plurality of voltage input terminals V0 to V6 which are electrically connected to both ends of each of the plurality of secondary batteries and receive a both-end voltage of each of the plurality of secondary batteries. One of the plurality of voltage input terminals is a reference voltage input terminal which is electrically separated from a first reference ground BG. The reference voltage input terminal V0 is electrically connected to a second reference ground N0 connected to one end of the bus bar and receives voltage applied to the second reference ground.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
