Abstract
To provide a seismic sensor, an earthquake detection method, and an earthquake detection program with which it is possible to appropriately produce outputs for the seismic ground motion, etc. of vibration strength detected in accordance with acceleration due to vibration.SOLUTION: A seismic sensor 10 comprises an acceleration acquisition unit 21, an acceleration waveform generation unit 22, a frequency detection unit 24, and an earthquake determination unit 25. The acceleration acquisition unit 21 detects vibration and measures the acceleration of vibration. The acceleration waveform generation unit 22 generates an acceleration waveform that indicates a relationship between the acceleration measured by the acceleration acquisition unit 21 and an elapsed time. The frequency detection unit 24 detects, by a zero-cross scheme, the frequency of the acceleration waveform generated by the acceleration waveform generation unit 22. The earthquake determination unit 25 determines whether or not being an earthquake, on the basis of the frequency detected by the frequency detection unit 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
