Claims

1. An adhesive comprising only a resin (A) which is a copolymer of monomer mixtures, In a monomer mixture of 100% by mass, 2-octyl (meth)acrylate is present in an amount of 30% by mass or more and less than 99.5% by mass, It contains 0.1% by mass or more and less than 40% by mass of monomers having a hydroxyl group, It does not contain isobornyl (meth)acrylate. An adhesive characterized in that the content of monomers having a carboxyl group in 100% by mass of the monomer mixture is less than 0.5% by mass, the content of other alkyl (meth)acrylate monomers other than 2-octyl (meth)acrylate is 46% by mass or less, and the total content of 2-octyl (meth)acrylate and other alkyl (meth)acrylate monomers is 65% by mass or more and 99.2% by mass or less.

8. An adhesive sheet comprising the adhesive layer and release film described in claim 7.
