Abstract

The present invention relates to the fields of dermatology and cosmetology and describes methods of using small molecule chemical compounds and their formulations to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and lines.These methods and formulations are contemplated for cosmetic use to reduce the appearance of wrinkles or lines, or for potential therapeutic use to reduce, restore, or treat wrinkles or lines.The use of these compounds to reduce the appearance of wrinkles or lines, or for potential therapeutic use to reduce, restore, or treat wrinkles or lines, is also contemplated.

Claims

1. A composition for the treatment of wrinkled skin or wrinkles, containing kynurenic acid as an active ingredient.

2. The composition according to claim 1, administered topically or applied by hand.

3. The composition according to claim 2, formulated as a cream.

4. The composition according to claim 2, wherein the kynurenic acid is blended in an amount of 0.5% by mass.

5. The composition according to claim 2, wherein the administration or application is once or twice a day.

6. The composition according to claim 2, wherein the administration or application is topical to wrinkled skin or skin having wrinkles.

7. The composition according to claim 1, formulated for use by injection.

8. The composition according to claim 1, formulated for use in platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy or platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) therapy.

9. The composition according to claim 2, wherein the administration or application is topical to wrinkled skin or skin having wrinkles, in combination with the administration or application of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy or platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) therapy.

10. The composition according to claim 2, wherein the administration or application is topical to wrinkled skin or skin having wrinkles, in combination with the administration or application of antigen-presenting cells (APCs).

11. A composition containing kynurenic acid as an active ingredient for reducing wrinkles or the appearance of wrinkles.

12. The composition according to claim 11, administered topically or applied by hand.

13. The composition according to claim 12, formulated as a cream.

14. The composition according to claim 12, wherein the kynurenic acid is blended in an amount of 0.5% by mass.

15. The composition according to claim 12, wherein the administration or application is once or twice a day.

16. The composition according to claim 12, wherein the administration or application is topical to wrinkled skin or skin having wrinkles.

17. The composition according to claim 11, formulated for use by injection.

18. The composition according to claim 11, formulated for use in platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy or platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) therapy.

19. The composition according to claim 12, wherein the administration or application is topical to wrinkled skin or skin having wrinkles, in combination with the administration or application of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy or platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) therapy.

20. The composition according to claim 12, wherein the administration or application is topical to wrinkled skin or skin having wrinkles, in combination with the administration or application of antigen-presenting cells (APCs).
