Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a terminal type fuse and a method of fastening the same, and more specifically, to a terminal fuse and a method of fastening the same that facilitates easy detachment of a low-voltage terminal part of a ground transformer and a low-voltage cable. Background Technology

[0002] In the event of a fault or overload in the underground cable, the primary fuse in the ground transformer of phases A, B, and C may operate. Due to the operation of the primary fuse, not only the faulty or overloaded cable but also the customers supplied by phases A, B, and C may experience a power outage. After the primary fuse operates, the fault section of the ground transformer can be identified using a simple inspection method, but locating the fault section may take approximately 20 minutes to 1 hour. Furthermore, when the protective device on the primary side of the ground transformer (e.g., a switch-type bayonet fuse) is overloaded, complete interruption may not be possible, which may cause the ground transformer to fail. In such cases, replacement of the ground transformer is unavoidable.

[0003] To resolve the aforementioned issues, distribution boxes can be installed to prevent failures in underground cables; however, this presents the problem of requiring installation space. In particular, securing installation space in densely populated areas such as cities is practically impossible due to procedures such as obtaining permits from local governments. Furthermore, the production of conventional underground fuses used for low-voltage cables has been discontinued due to a lack of demand. Therefore, there is a need for fuses that are convenient for on-site use and improve ease of installation in the event of a failure. The problem to be solved

[0032] Figure 1 is an example of a low-voltage cable (30) connected to a conventional low-voltage terminal (22).

[0033] Referring to FIG. 1, a ground transformer (1) can generally be composed of a high-voltage section and a low-voltage section. For example, the high-voltage section may include three detachable single-phase unit modules. Here, the low-voltage section has four low-voltage terminal sections (22) attached separately for phases A, B, C, and N, and a low-voltage cable (30) can be connected to the low-voltage terminal sections (22) through a cable connection section (32).

[0034] For example, the low-voltage terminal part (22) may include a copper pipe terminal (24), and the low-voltage cable (30) may include a cable connection part (32).

[0035] The copper pipe terminal (24) has a rectangular plate shape and has six through holes formed on its side that can be bolted. Meanwhile, the cable connection part (32) also has a rectangular plate shape and has two through holes formed on its side that can be bolted. Accordingly, the cable connection part (32) is bolted to the copper pipe terminal (24), so that a low-voltage cable (30) can be connected to the low-voltage terminal part (22).

[0036] The method of connecting the low-voltage cable (30) connected to the conventional low-voltage terminal (22) is a sleeve compression method. The sleeve compression method has the problem that the process of detaching the faulty low-voltage cable (30) from the low-voltage terminal (22) is cumbersome. For example, the copper pipe terminal (24) and the cable connection part of the faulty low-voltage cable are separated. Afterwards, the wire of the new low-voltage cable (30) is cut to expose the conductor, the conventional underground wire fuse and low-voltage cable (30) are sleeve-compressed, and insulating tape is applied. Afterwards, the cable connection part (32) can be connected to the copper pipe terminal (24).

Meanwhile, the second terminal fastening portion (100) may be fastened in the same process as the cable terminal portion of the low-voltage cable. Here, the cable terminal portion may have the same or similar shape as the plurality of terminal fastening portions (100). However, this is merely an example, and the present disclosure is not limited thereto.

[0042] A plurality of terminal connection parts (100) can be manufactured from copper material, and can be manufactured from a material similar or identical to a copper tube terminal.

[0043] The low-voltage cable can be easily attached and detached by fastening the bolts of the multiple terminal connection parts (100).

[0044] The fuse (200) can interrupt overcurrent occurring in the low-voltage cable connected to the ground transformer. The fuse (200) can be attached to and connected to one end of each of the plurality of terminal connection parts (100). For example, one end of the fuse (200) can be connected to one end of the first terminal connection part (100), and the other end of the fuse (200) can be connected to one end of the second terminal connection part (100).

[0045] The insulating cover (300) may have an empty space inside and may be formed with both ends open. For example, the insulating cover (300) may have a cylindrical shape with an empty interior, but is not limited thereto.

[0046] At least one of a plurality of terminal fastening portions (100) may be inserted into the interior of the insulating cover (300).
