[0010] (1) Overview of the embodiment

[0011] From the description in this specification and the accompanying drawings, at least the following matters become apparent.

[0012] A sheet structure according to one embodiment comprises a sheet laminate in which a plurality of sheets are stacked in the thickness direction, with the sheets folded along a fold line along a first direction; a sheet packaging body having a receiving portion that accommodates the sheet laminate and has a packaging opening that serves as an ejection port for the sheets; and an outer body having a cover portion that covers the packaging opening. The cover portion is arranged to overlap with at least a portion of the packaging opening and has an outer opening that serves as an ejection port for the sheets, and a separation guide portion that protrudes inward from the outer edge of the opening, which is the outer edge in a planar view of the outer opening, and induces separation between the sheets. The length of the packaging opening in the first direction is shorter than the length of the sheet in the first direction within the sheet laminate and is also shorter than the length of the outer opening in the first direction. Since the length of the packaging opening in the first direction is shorter than the length of the sheet in the first direction, the sheet is lifted up in the first direction along the fold line during the process of passing through the packaging opening. Subsequently, the sheet that has passed through the packaging opening passes through the outer opening. At this time, since the length of the first direction of the outer opening is longer than the length of the first direction of the packaging opening, the sheet that was lifted up in the first direction is unfolded in the first direction. During the process of lifting and unfolding the sheet, the sheet deforms, creating a space between the sheets, making it easy for them to separate from each other. In a state where the sheets are easily separated from each other, the sheets are separated by a separation guide so that the sheets can be ejected one by one.

[0013] According to a preferred embodiment, the length of the second direction perpendicular to the first direction of the packaging opening is longer than the length of the second direction of the outer opening. According to this embodiment, a distance in the second direction can be secured to guide the sheet, which has been lifted up in the first direction through the packaging opening, toward the outer opening, thereby allowing the sheet to be unfolded without difficulty. Accordingly, the sheets can be extracted one by one while suppressing problems such as tearing of the sheet.

[0014] According to a preferred embodiment, the separation guide is protruded from the outer edge of the opening of the outer opening toward the inner side in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. According to this embodiment, since the separation guide is extended in the second direction, the sheets can be separated by the separation guide by pulling the sheet toward a direction away from the fold line.

[0015] According to a preferred embodiment, the length of the first direction of the separation guide is longer than the length of the first direction of the packaging opening. According to this embodiment, it becomes easier to bring the entire first direction of the sheet passing through the packaging opening into contact with the separation guide, making it easier to separate the sheets from each other by the separation guide.

[0016] According to a preferred embodiment, the separation guide is positioned at the center of the first direction of the outer opening. According to this embodiment, by contacting the separation guide at the center of the first direction of the sheet passing through the outer opening, it becomes easy to separate the sheets over a wide range extending from the center of the first direction of the sheet toward the entire first direction.

[0017] According to a preferred embodiment, the separation guide is a part in which the outer edge of the opening protrudes inward and is integrated with the outer edge of the opening. A rib protruding in the thickness direction is formed on the outer edge of the opening. According to this embodiment, since the outer edge of the opening and the separation guide are integrated, the sheet can be brought into contact with the separation guide during the process of passing through the packaging opening. In addition, by forming the rib, the contact when the sheet or a finger comes into contact with the outer edge of the opening is smoothed, thereby suppressing problems such as damage to the sheet or discomfort to the finger.

[0018] According to a preferred embodiment, the length in the first direction of the packaging opening is 30% or less of the length in the first direction of the sheet within the sheet laminate. The length in the first direction of the outer opening is 150% or more of the length in the first direction of the packaging opening. According to the present embodiment, as the sheet passes through the packaging opening, the sheet can be sufficiently lifted in the first direction to form wrinkles in the sheet, thereby creating a space between the sheets. Additionally, by spreading the sheet that has been sufficiently lifted out to about 150%, the sheet is deformed, making it easier for the sheets to separate from each other.

[0019] A sheet packaging body according to one embodiment comprises a sheet laminate in which a plurality of sheets are stacked in the thickness direction, with the sheets folded along a first direction along a fold line, and a receiving portion having a packaging opening that accommodates the sheet laminate and serves as an outlet for the sheets. The sheet packaging body is used by being attached to an outer body having an outer opening that overlaps with at least a portion of the packaging opening. The length of the packaging opening in the first direction is shorter than the length of the outer opening in the first direction. According to the sheet packaging body of the present embodiment, sheets can be extracted one by one by using it together with an outer body.

[0020] An outer body according to one embodiment is used by being attached to a sheet packaging body having a packaging opening that serves as an ejection port for a sheet folded along a first direction, and has an outer opening that overlaps with at least a part of the packaging opening and also serves as an ejection port for the sheet. The length of the packaging opening in the first direction is shorter than the length of the sheet in the first direction and is also shorter than the length of the outer opening in the first direction. According to the outer body according to this embodiment, sheets can be ejected one by one by using it together with the sheet packaging body.

[0021] (2) Overall schematic configuration of the sheet structure, sheet packaging, and outer body according to the embodiment

[0022] Hereinafter, a sheet structure, a sheet packaging body, and an outer body according to an embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings. In addition, in the description of the drawings below, identical or similar parts are denoted by identical or similar reference numerals. However, it should be noted that the drawings are schematic and the ratios of each dimension may differ from those of reality. Therefore, specific dimensions, etc., must be determined by taking into account the following description. Furthermore, there may be parts in which the relationship or ratio of dimensions differs between the drawings.

[0023] FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of a sheet structure according to an embodiment, viewed from the upper side. FIG. 2 is a partial enlarged view of part A of FIG. 1. The sheet structure (1) has a sheet packaging body (2) and an outer body (3). The sheet packaging body (2) accommodates a sheet laminate (4) and has a packaging opening (22) that serves as an outlet for individual sheets. The outer body (3) has at least a cover portion (31) that covers the packaging opening (22) of the sheet packaging body (2). The sheet structure (1) has an upper surface (11) where the outer opening (32) is placed, a bottom surface (12) facing the upper surface (11), and a left side (15), a right side (16), a front surface (13), and a back surface (14) that cover the sides of the sheet laminate. The sheet structure (1) has a thickness direction (D3) that follows the stacking direction of the sheet within the sheet laminate (4), and a first direction (D1) and a second direction (D2) that extend in the planar direction of the sheet and are orthogonal to each other. The first direction (D1) is a direction that follows the fold line (FL) of the sheet laminate (4).

[0024] The sheet (41) of the sheet laminate (4) may be a dry sheet or a wet sheet (e.g., wet tissue). The sheet laminate (4) according to the present embodiment is configured to allow the sheets (41) to be separated one by one and can be suitably used as a wet sheet. The sheet laminate (4) is folded at least along a fold line (FL) following the first direction (D1). In the folded state, adjacent sheets (41) in the thickness direction (D3) are arranged alternately. More specifically, the sheet (41) has a bottom surface area (42) located on the bottom side and a top surface area (43) located on the top side when folded along the fold line (FL) (see FIG. 3). The top surface area (43) and the bottom surface area (42) are adjacent areas with the fold line (FL) as a boundary. Here, the fold line (FL) of the sheet is the fold line (FL) that serves as the boundary between the upper surface area (43) and the bottom surface area (42). The sheet laminate (4) may be folded before the fold line (FL) by a fold line other than the above fold line (FL). That is, the sheet (41) may be folded starting from the fold line following the second direction (D2) and then folded starting from the fold line following the first direction (D1). The fold line (FL) following the first direction (D1) of the present invention is the fold line that serves as the starting point when the sheet (41) is unfolded from the sheet laminate (4).

[0025] Between the bottom surface area (42) and the top surface area (43) of one sheet (41X), the top surface area (43) of a sheet (41Y) located on the bottom surface side of the one sheet (41X) and the bottom surface area of a sheet (41Z) located on the top surface side of the one sheet are interposed. The fold line of one sheet and the fold line of the sheet located on the top surface side (bottom surface side) of the one sheet are spaced apart in a second direction (D2). According to the above configuration, when the sheet (41Z) located on the top surface side of the one sheet (41X) is pulled out, the top surface area (43) of one sheet (41X) is pulled out by the bottom surface area (42) of the sheet (41Z) located on the top surface side. Additionally, when one sheet (41X) is withdrawn, the upper surface area (43) of the sheet (41Y) on the bottom side is withdrawn by the bottom surface area (42) of one sheet (41X). Thus, the sheets are withdrawn one after another.

[0026] The sheet packaging body (2) has a receiving portion (23) that encloses the entire sheet laminate (4) and a packaging opening (22) that serves as an outlet for the sheet (41). The receiving portion (23) of the sheet packaging body (2) may be made of a film. The material of the film is not particularly limited, but, for example, it may be a mixture of polypropylene and polyethylene. The packaging opening (22) of the sheet packaging body (2) may be positioned on the upper surface (11) side. The packaging opening (22) may be covered by a peelable seal (not shown) before the packaging opening (22) of the sheet packaging body (2) is covered by the cover portion (31) of the outer body (3). When attaching the cover portion (31) to the sheet packaging body (2), the user may peel off the seal to expose the packaging opening (22) and cover the packaging opening (22) with the cover portion (31).

[0027] The dimensions of the packaging opening (22) may be such that each sheet (41) can be pulled out. The shape of the packaging opening (22) may be elliptical when viewed in planar form, may be horizontally elongated (vertically elongated) circular, or may be a perfect circle, and the shape is not limited. Suitablely, it may be curved and may not have pointed corners in order to prevent the sheet (41) from getting stuck. The packaging opening (22) of this embodiment is vertically elongated such that the length of the second direction (D2) is longer than the length of the first direction (D1). The packaging opening (22) may be positioned at the center of the first direction (D1) and the center of the second direction (D2) of the sheet packaging body (2).

[0028] The outer body (3) has a cover portion (31). The cover portion (31) has at least an outer opening (32) and a separation guide portion (34). The outer opening (32) is arranged to overlap at least a part of the packaging opening (22) and serves as an outlet for the sheet (41). The separation guide portion (34) will be described in detail later. The cover portion (31) may further have a lid portion (36) that covers the outer opening (32) so as to be openable and closable, a base portion (37) arranged around the outer opening (32), and a hinge portion (38) that serves as the opening and closing point of the lid portion (36) relative to the base portion (37). When the user extracts the sheet (41), the user performs an operation to open the lid portion (36) starting from the hinge portion (38), and when the user does not extract the sheet (41), the user performs an operation to close the lid portion (36) to cover the outer opening (32).

[0029] The outer body (3) may be composed solely of a cover portion (31), and the cover portion (31) may be detachably attached to the sheet packaging body (2), or it may have a surrounding portion (39) that is integrated with the cover portion (31) and surrounds the entire sheet packaging body (2). The outer body (3) of the present embodiment has a surrounding portion (39). The surrounding portion (39) has an area extending outward from the cover portion (31) on the upper surface (11), a bottom surface area disposed on the bottom surface (12), and side areas disposed on the left side (15), right side (16), front (13), and back (14). The bottom surface area is configured to be detachably attached to the side area, and is configured to allow the sheet laminate (4) to be inserted and removed from the sheet packaging body (2) when the side area is removed. In the case where the outer body (3) is composed solely of a cover part (31), the cover part may have an adhesive part arranged thereon and be attached to the outer surface of the sheet packaging body (2) through the adhesive part.

[0030] The sheet structure (1) of the present embodiment is configured to facilitate the extraction of sheets one by one from a plurality of stacked sheet laminates (4). Next, a configuration for facilitating the extraction of sheets (41) one by one will be described in detail. The length (W22) of the first direction (D1) of the packaging opening (22) of the sheet packaging body (2) is shorter than the length (W41) of the first direction (D1) of the sheet (41) within the sheet laminate (4), and is also shorter than the length (W32) of the first direction of the outer opening (32). The length (W22) of the first direction of the packaging opening (22) of the sheet packaging body (2) may be the maximum length of the first direction (D1) of the packaging opening (22). The length (W41) of the first direction of the sheet (41) within the sheet laminate (4) is the length of the first direction (D1) of the sheet (41) when the sheet (41) is in a laminated state, and may be the length of the fold line (FL) of the sheet (41). The length (W32) of the first direction (D1) of the exterior opening (32) may be the maximum length of the first direction (D1) of the exterior opening (32).

[0031] FIG. 3 is a schematic perspective view for explaining the manner in which a sheet (41) is extracted. For convenience of explanation, the perspective view of FIG. 3 shows a sheet laminate (4), a packaging opening (22) of a sheet package, and an outer opening (32) of an outer body (3), while other configurations are omitted. FIG. 4 is a schematic cross-sectional view based on line BB shown in FIG. 3. FIG. 5 is a schematic cross-sectional view based on line CC shown in FIG. 3. When extracting the sheet (41), the user pulls the sheet (41) positioned on the uppermost side. The sheet (41) is pulled out through the packaging opening (22) of the sheet package (2), and subsequently, is pulled out through the outer opening (32) of the outer body (3). At this time, since the length (W22) of the first direction (D1) of the packaging opening (22) is shorter than the length (W41) of the first direction (D1) of the sheet (41), the sheet (41) is lifted up in the first direction (D1) along the fold line (FL). At this time, the length (W41) of the first direction (D1) of the sheet (41) gradually shortens from the side of the fold line (FL) toward the direction away from the fold line (FL) (upper surface (11) side) and passes through the packaging opening (22). Subsequently, the sheet (41) that has passed through the packaging opening (22) passes through the outer opening (32). At this time, since the length (W32) of the first direction (D1) of the outer opening (32) is longer than the length (W22) of the first direction (D1) of the packaging opening (22), the sheet (41) that was lifted up in the first direction (D1) is unfolded in the first direction (D1). During the process of lifting up and unfolding the sheet (41), the sheet (41) deforms, forming a space between the overlapping sheets (41), making it easy to separate them from each other. When the sheets come into contact with the separation guide (34) while in a state where they are easy to separate from each other, the sheets (41) are easily separated from each other. Therefore, the sheets (41) are easily ejected one by one.

[0032] Suitablely, the length of the first direction (D1) of the packaging opening (22) in the area overlapping with the exterior opening (32) may be shorter than the length (W32) of the first direction (D1) of the exterior opening (32). Additionally, the position of the maximum length of the first direction (D1) of the exterior opening (32) may be any position in the second direction (D2) of the exterior opening (32), but suitablely, it may be located in the center of the second direction (D2) of the exterior opening (32). Any sheet of the sheet laminate (4) is drawn out starting from the fold line (FL) located at the end edge of one side of the second direction (D2), and the next sheet is drawn out starting from the fold line (FL) located at the end edge of the other side of the second direction (D2). Since the maximum length of the first direction (D1) of the outer opening (32) is located at the center of the second direction (D2) of the outer opening (32), the sheets being ejected one after another are easily drawn out through the position of the maximum length of the first direction (D1) of the outer opening (32), so that the sheets can be drawn out smoothly and continuously when being ejected one after another.

[0033] As illustrated in FIG. 5, the length (L22) of the second direction (D2) of the packaging opening (22) may be longer than the length (L32) of the second direction (D2) of the outer opening (32). The length (L22) of the second direction (D2) of the packaging opening (22) may be the maximum length of the second direction (D2) of the packaging opening (22). The length (L32) of the second direction (D2) of the outer opening (32) may be the maximum length of the second direction (D2) of the outer opening (32). According to the present embodiment, since the length (L22) of the second direction (D2) of the packaging opening (22) is relatively long, a distance in the second direction (D2) can be secured to guide the sheet, which has been lifted up in the first direction (D1) through the packaging opening (22), toward the outer opening (32) while spreading it out, so that the sheet (41) can be spread out without difficulty and the sheet (41) can be taken out one by one while suppressing problems such as tearing of the sheet (41).

[0034] The cover portion (31) of the outer body (3) has a separation guide portion (34). The separation guide portion (34) is configured to protrude inward from the outer edge of the opening (33), which is the outer edge of the outer opening (32) in a planar view, and to induce separation between sheets (41). The separation guide portion (34) may be a portion that protrudes inward toward the second direction (D2) from the outer edge of the second direction (D2) of the outer opening (32). In addition, in a modified example, the separation guide portion (34) may be a portion that protrudes inward toward the first direction (D1) from the outer edge of the first direction (D1) of the outer opening (32). The user pulls out the sheet (41) to the outside of the sheet structure (1) through the packaging opening (22) and the outer opening (32). At this time, the separation guide (34) contacts the sheet (41) and functions to ensure that only the sheet to be extracted is extracted when the sheet to be extracted and the next sheet (41) (located on the bottom side) are likely to be extracted together.

[0035] The separation guide (34) protrudes from the outer edge (33) of the outer opening (32) toward the inner side of the second direction (D2). Since the separation guide (34) extends toward the second direction (D2), the sheets (41) can be separated from each other by pulling the sheets (41) toward a direction away from the fold line, thereby lifting the sheets (41) up and then unfolding them. The length (W34) of the first direction of the separation guide (34) may be longer than the length (W22) of the first direction (D1) of the packaging opening (22). According to the above configuration, the entire first direction (D1) of the sheets (41) that have passed through the packaging opening (22) is made to come into contact with the separation guide (34), making it easier to separate the sheets from each other by the separation guide (34).

[0036] The separation guide (34) may be positioned at the center of the first direction (D1) of the outer opening (32). As the sheet (41) passes through the packaging opening (22) from the sheet laminate (4), it is lifted toward the inside of the first direction (D1), and then unfolded toward the outside of the first direction (D1) as it passes through the outer opening (32). As the sheet is lifted toward the inside of the first direction (D1) in the packaging opening (22), it becomes easy to come into contact with the separation guide (34). Therefore, by bringing the separation guide (34) into contact with the center of the first direction (D1) of the sheet (41) passing through the outer opening (32), it becomes easy to separate the sheets (41) from each other over a wide range from the center of the first direction (D1) of the sheet (41) toward the entire first direction (D1).

[0037] The separation guide (34) may be integrated with the outer edge of the opening (33) as a part that protrudes inwardly from the outer edge of the opening (33). Since the separation guide (34) is integrated with the outer opening (32), no step difference is formed at the boundary between the two, making it easy to pull out the sheet (41) without it getting caught. Additionally, a rib (35) that protrudes in the thickness direction may be formed on the outer edge of the opening. Since the outer edge of the opening (33) and the separation guide (34) are integrated, the sheet can be brought into contact with the separation guide during the process of passing through the packaging opening (22). Additionally, since the rib (35) is formed, the contact when the sheet (41) or a finger comes into contact with the outer edge of the opening (33) is smoothed, thereby suppressing problems such as damage to the sheet (41) or discomfort to the finger. Suitablely, the cross-sectional shape of the rib (35) may be curved (e.g., semicircular, arc-shaped). This can further suppress the jamming of the sheet (41) at the outer edge (33) of the opening.

[0038] In addition, in a modified example, the separation guide (34) may be formed separately from the outer opening (32). For example, the separation guide (34) may be made of a different material from the base part (37) surrounding the outer opening (32). Suitablely, the bending rigidity of the separation guide (34) may be lower than the bending rigidity of the base part (37). According to the above configuration, the sheet may be configured to be ejected more smoothly.

[0039] The length (W22) of the first direction (D1) of the packaging opening (22) may be 30% or less of the length (W41) of the first direction of the sheet within the sheet laminate (4). Additionally, the length (W32) of the first direction (D1) of the outer opening (32) may be 150% or more of the length (W22) of the first direction (D1) of the packaging opening (22). According to the present embodiment, as the sheet (41) passes through the packaging opening (22), the sheet (41) can be sufficiently lifted in the first direction (D1) to form wrinkles in the sheet (41) and form a space between the sheets (41). Furthermore, by spreading the sheet that has been sufficiently lifted up to about 150%, the sheet is deformed, making it easier for the sheets to be separated from each other.

[0040] Although the present invention has been described in detail using the aforementioned embodiments, it is evident to those skilled in the art that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described in this specification. The present invention may be implemented in modified and altered forms without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the claims. Accordingly, the description in this specification is intended for illustrative purposes and does not imply any limiting meaning to the present invention.
