Abstract
The present invention relates to a photoluminescent paving and slab with a two-layer structure, combining a standard concrete mass layer (cement, sand, gravel) for mechanical robustness, and a photoluminescent finishing layer consisting of cement, fine sand and photoluminescent aggregates ensuring homogeneous and lasting luminescence thanks to granulometric synthetic pigments. The layers are joined by high-pressure compaction, forming a monolithic structure without chemical fixatives, and the paving and slab have a compressive strength greater than 3.6 MPa. The invention also relates to the manufacturing method of this photoluminescent paving and slab.
