AIR TANK ISOLATION SYSTEM

Abstract

A system is provided for damping forces between a suspension frame and an air reservoir. In one aspect, the system includes a first elastic isolating pad positioned between a first side of an air reservoir mounting bracket and a support rail of the suspension frame. The system also includes a second elastic isolating pad positioned on a second side of the mounting bracket; a retaining plate positioned on one side of the second elastic isolating pad opposite the mounting bracket; and one or more fasteners extending through the retaining plate, the second elastic isolating pad, the first elastic isolating pad, and the support rail.
