Finger-type expansion joint device without drainage sheet

Abstract

The present invention relates to a finger-type expansion joint device without a drainage sheet, the joint device preventing rainwater or foreign substances from being discharged from between finger plates. In other words, the present invention comprises: first and second support members (10, 10’) respectively provided on decks (1, 1’) at both sides of a bridge, the decks facing each other with a separation space therebetween, and in which vertical supports 12 extend upward at one end of base plates (11) in a plate form and finger assembly stands (14) are provided at the other end thereof so as to be assembled with finger plates (2, 2’) via bolts (B); a connecting and blocking plate (20) which is arranged so as to interconnect the first and second support members (10, 10’), supports the lower portions of the finger plates (2, 2’), and at the same time blocks gaps between finger portions (2a) to prevent water or foreign substances from being discharged from between the finger portions (2a); and a space maintenance member (30) provided between the first and second support members (10, 10’) and the connecting and blocking plate (20) to position the connecting and blocking plate (20) at the center of the first and second support members (10, 10’) by elastic action.
