Abstract

The present utility model relates to a shaving cream composition comprising stearic acid, neem oil, aloe vera, coconut oil, pumpkin seed oil, liquid castile soap, and guava oil. The composition comprises 4.60 g stearic acid, 0.96 ml neem oil, 14.00 g aloe vera, 3.00 ml coconut oil, 3.84 ml pumpkin seed oil, 7.00 ml liquid castile soap, and 0.15 ml guava oil. The neem oil, pumpkin seed oil, and coconut oil are combined to form an oil phase into which the stearic acid is incorporated at about 70°C. The resulting oil phase is cooled and combined with separately mixed aloe vera and liquid castile soap. Guava oil is added during final blending to obtain a uniform, creamy, opaque shaving cream having a foam-type consistency. The composition provides emollient, hydrating, conditioning, cleansing, and lather-forming characteristics and is suitable for application to the skin during shaving while incorporating plant-derived oil components therein.
