Impact-resistant hand protector

Abstract

An impact-resistant hand protector having a layered supporting shell adapted to the shape of the elbow and forearm and a rounded main cover attached thereto, provided with fastening straps, characterized in that the main cover (1) has a convex central ridge (2) located in its central part, comprising arched embossments (3) extending on both sides thereof, and a convex transverse ridge (4) extending transversely in relation to the longitudinal axis of the main cover (1) below the central ridge (2), at the same time a longitudinally extending side cover (6) having a rectangular shape with rounded corners is attached to the lateral part of the supporting shell, while a reinforcement (7) made of a shock-absorbing material with variable mechanical properties is attached to the inner side of the main cover (1), wherein a reinforcing seam (8) is attached along the entire periphery of the supporting shell.
