Abstract

The subject of the application is a device for mechanically planting tree seedlings, particularly in clear-cut forest areas and former agricultural lands, applicable to the planting of both deciduous and coniferous trees, particularly larger seedlings. The device is characterized in that the seedling feeding mechanism (1), operating in a trailing arm arrangement, preferably independently of the plough, is attached to the arm on one side and is bearing-mounted on one side only, wherein the single-sided drive of the seedling feeding mechanism (1) (2) is a pressure wheel (5) connected via a gear (6) to an overload clutch (7).
