Abstract
The subject of the application is a tripod for calibrating scalar magnetometers mounted on unmanned platforms, consisting of at least one leg and a base attached thereto, equipped with a mechanism for rotating the unmanned platform, characterized in that it is made of a non-ferromagnetic material, a one- or two-part body is attached to the base through at least one stop (22), to which a mounting plate (16) is mounted through a head part, wherein the head part (19) constitutes a movement mechanism for locking the orientation of at least the rotation angles of the tilt α ("roll") and the inclination α ("pitch") of the platform, determining its angular orientation relative to the tripod base. Another subject of the invention is a system for calibrating scalar magnetometers mounted on unmanned platforms, consisting of a reference station, a calibrated magnetometer, a system for estimating the orientation angles, a measuring system,a computing unit, an unmanned platform and a tripod consisting of a base and at least one leg, characterized in that the tripod is made of a non-ferromagnetic material, and a one- or two-part body is attached to its base via at least one stop (22), to which a mounting plate (16) is mounted via a head part, wherein the head part (19) constitutes a movement mechanism for locking the orientation of at least the rotation angles of the tilt (a "roll") and the inclination (a "pitch") of the platform, which determine its angular orientation relative to the tripod base; the reference station is at least 20 meters away from the tripod; a calibrated scalar magnetometer and an orientation angle estimation system mounted on an unmanned platform and signal-connected to a measuring system and a computing unit mounted on the unmanned platform and connected wired or wirelessly to the reference station. Another subject of the application is a method for calibrating scalar magnetometers mounted on unmanned platforms.
