Machine tool module and numerically controlled machine tool

Abstract

A numerical machine tool module having a rectangular mounting plate (1) comprises at least four mounting holes, wherein on two shorter sides the mounting plate (1) is terminated with vertical walls (3) protruding beyond the cross-section of the mounting plate (1), and furthermore between the vertical walls (3), above the mounting plate (1), a linear guide (4) with a ball screw drive (5) is mounted, wherein the screw (5) of the linear guide (4) is connected to a first electric motor (6). The modular numerical machine tool comprises at least three machine tool modules.
