An Intelligent Meeting Scheduling Method and System Based on Social Media Conversations

Abstract

This invention provides an intelligent meeting scheduling method and system based on social media dialogue. It can automatically identify meeting needs from users' daily conversations, intelligently find relevant participants, and recommend suitable meeting times. The method includes: receiving and storing text messages from a social media platform, the text messages containing a timestamp, sender identification code, and message content; scanning the message content to identify meeting-related words and extract names and department names, then comparing them with organizational structure data to create a participant list; accessing the electronic calendar data of each participant in the participant list, and retrieving scheduled event information within a specified date and time range; calculating the common available time slots for each participant within the specified date and time range, calculating a suitability score according to time slot scoring rules, and selecting the highest-scoring time slots as suggested options; and receiving the participants' selection signals for the suggested options and sending a resource reservation request to the meeting room management system.
