Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to sanitary fixtures, and more particularly to an anti-slip toilet seat apparatus with dual-sided extensions configured to engage with a toilet bowl rim, thereby enhancing stability, preventing slippage, and improving user safety and comfort.BACKGROUND

[0002] Conventional toilet seat assemblies typically include a seat body hinged to a cover that is mounted on the rim of a toilet bowl via fasteners. These designs rely heavily on hinge alignment and tightening nuts to maintain position. Over time, due to repeated use, vibration, and loosening of fasteners, the seat often shifts laterally or becomes unstable. Such movement not only reduces user comfort but also increases the risk of accidental slippage and injury, particularly for children, the elderly, or individuals with reduced mobility.

[0003] In many cases, conventional seats depend solely on surface friction between the seat's underside and the toilet bowl rim. When the fasteners loosen or the seat material wears, frictional resistance decreases, resulting in unwanted lateral displacement. Moreover, frequent re-tightening of bolts or replacement of fasteners is required to impose maintenance burdens on users and reduce the service life of the seat.

[0004] To address these issues, prior art solutions have introduced various auxiliary stabilizing mechanisms. Some designs employ mechanical clamps or side brackets to hold the seat in place. Others use adhesive pads, rubber gaskets, or suction-based components to enhance grip. Adjustable hinge mechanisms with reinforced locking structures have also been disclosed to improve seat stability. While these methods temporarily mitigate slippage, they often complicate installation, increase costs, and require periodic adjustment or replacement.

[0005] For example, certain clamp-based designs disclosed in the prior arts provide lateral stability but add bulk and are prone to corrosion or fracture under load. Adhesive pad systems may initially enhance grip, but adhesives degrade over time due to exposure to moisture, cleaning agents, and temperature variations. Adjustable hinge mechanisms improve durability but typically require precision alignment during installation, and their effectiveness decreases as wear accumulates.

[0006] Despite these prior art efforts, common limitations persist. Auxiliary stabilizers introduce additional components that either increase manufacturing complexity or present new failure points. Adhesives and suction-based systems are not permanent solutions, requiring frequent user intervention. Mechanical clamp assemblies may not be compatible with all toilet bowl geometries and often compromise aesthetics and hygiene. Consequently, there remains a need for a toilet seat design that provides passive, reliable anti-slip functionality without reliance on external fasteners, adhesives, or complex mechanisms.

[0007] To address these limitations, there is a need for an anti-slip toilet seat apparatus having dual-sided extensions configured to engage with a toilet bowl rim, thereby enhancing stability, preventing slippage, and improving user safety and comfort. There is also a need for an anti-slip toilet seat apparatus that functions effectively even when conventional fastening components such as nuts and bolts become loose, thereby reducing maintenance requirements. Further, there is also a need for an anti-slip toilet seat apparatus that is simple in structure, compatible with standard toilet bowls, hygienic in use, and economical to manufacture while offering long-term durability without reliance on additional clamps, adhesives, or complex mechanical components.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0028] Reference will now be made in detail to the present preferred embodiments of the invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Wherever possible, the same reference numerals are used in the drawings and the description to refer to the same or like parts.

[0029] Conventional toilet seats frequently suffer from instability due to reliance on hinge friction and tightening bolts alone. Over time, these fasteners loosen, causing the seat to wobble or slip, which creates discomfort, maintenance issues, and safety risks-particularly for children, elderly individuals, and users with mobility impairments. Prior solutions, such as adhesive pads or external clamps, wear out quickly, require frequent replacement, and increase product complexity.

[0030] The present invention solves this long-standing problem by integrating dual downward extensions directly into the molded toilet seat. This unitary dual-extension design provides continuous passive anti-slip functionality, thereby ensuring lateral stability even if fasteners loosen, while maintaining compatibility with industry-standard hinge and mounting dimensions. As a result, the invention delivers a safe, durable, and maintenance-free solution that significantly improves upon conventional toilet seat designs.

[0031] FIG. 1 refers to a perspective view of an anti-slip toilet seat apparatus 100. In one embodiment herein, the anti-slip toilet seat apparatus 100 having dual-sided extensions configured to engage with a toilet bowl rim, thereby enhancing stability, preventing slippage, and improving user safety and comfort. The toilet seat apparatus 100 functions effectively even when conventional fastening components such as nuts and bolts become loose, thereby reducing maintenance requirements. The toilet seat apparatus 100 is simple in structure, compatible with standard toilet bowls, hygienic in use, and economical to manufacture while offering long-term durability without reliance on additional clamps, adhesives, or complex mechanical components.

[0032] In one embodiment herein, the toilet seat apparatus 100 is configured to be securely mounted on a toilet bowl rim so as to prevent accidental slippage, displacement, or instability that commonly occurs with conventional toilet seats during use. The toilet seat apparatus 100 comprises a toilet seat 102, a hinge assembly 116, a seat cover 120, and a tightening assembly 122. The toilet seat 102 provides a primary seating surface for a user, while the hinge assembly 116 enables pivotal movement of both the toilet seat 102 and the seat cover 120 about a common axis. The seat cover 120 is configured to overlie and protect the toilet seat 102 when in a closed position, and to expose it when raised. The tightening assembly 122 cooperates with the hinge assembly 116 to secure the toilet seat apparatus 100 to the toilet bowl rim, thereby ensuring stability during use.

[0033] FIG. 2 refers to a bottom view of the toilet seat 102 of the anti-slip toilet seat apparatus 100 and FIG. 3 refers to a top view of the toilet seat 102. In one embodiment herein, the toilet seat 102 comprises dual-sided extensions including an inner extension 104, and an outer extension 106, as shown in FIG. 2. These structural elements cooperate to form a passive, self-stabilizing anti-slip mechanism that functions automatically once the toilet seat apparatus 100 is installed. The toilet seat 102 provides a main body for a user to sit on, while the inner extension 104 and the outer extension 106 project downwardly from the toilet seat 102 and engage with corresponding surfaces of the toilet bowl rim. The inner extension 104 is dimensioned and oriented to closely trace the internal contour of the toilet bowl rim, thereby resisting inward shifting of the toilet seat 102, whereas the outer extension 106 cradles the exterior contour of the toilet bowl rim to resist outward or lateral displacement.

[0034] This dual-engagement arrangement allows the toilet seat 102 to remain locked in its intended position relative to the toilet bowl rim even when subjected to lateral forces caused by a user's weight shift, sudden movements, or prolonged use. Unlike traditional toilet seats that depend solely on friction at the hinge interface or the clamping force of tightening assemblies, the present toilet seat apparatus 100 utilizes structural geometry for stability. This design eliminates the need for supplemental adhesives, auxiliary clamps, or frequent re-tightening of mounting hardware. By integrating the inner extension 104 and the outer extension 106 directly into the toilet seat 102, the toilet seat apparatus 100 provides a simple yet highly reliable safety feature that minimizes maintenance, reduces long-term loosening problems, and significantly enhances user safety and comfort. In particular, the toilet seat apparatus 100 is beneficial for children, elderly individuals, and users with mobility impairments, who are more vulnerable to accidents caused by toilet seat instability.

[0035] In one embodiment herein, the toilet seat 102 comprises a seat body 108 having an upper sitting surface 110 (shown in FIG. 3), an inner perimeter 112, and an outer perimeter 114. The upper sitting surface 110 is ergonomically contoured with a subtle concavity extending across its central region to promote even distribution of a user's body weight and to minimize localized pressure points. This ergonomic shaping enhances comfort during prolonged use and is particularly advantageous for children, elderly users, and individuals with mobility impairments, who are more susceptible to discomfort or instability when seated on conventional flat-profile seats. The contoured surface also assists in naturally guiding the user into a centered seating position, thereby improving safety and reducing the likelihood of lateral imbalance.

[0036] The ergonomic contouring and anti-slip design of the seat body also enhance comfort and safety for children and individuals with disabilities. The passive stabilization allows users with limited strength balance, or dexterity to safely sit and rise without seat shafting, thereby meeting Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) usability standards for stability and height compatibility. toilet seat ergonomically configured to enhance safety for children, elderly users, and individuals with physical disabilities, and is compliant with accessibility principles consistent with the ADA.

[0037] In one embodiment herein, the seat body 108 is proportioned to conform to industry-standard elongated toilet bowl configurations. By way of example, the seat body 108 may have approximate dimensions of 445 mm in length, 360 mm in width, and 40 mm in thickness, although variations may be implemented to accommodate regional or manufacturer-specific bowl standards. These dimensions balance structural strength with aesthetic profile, ensuring the toilet seat 102 is both compact and durable.

[0038] In one embodiment herein, the outer edges of the seat body 108 are smoothly rounded or filleted to reduce the risk of abrasions, pinching, or discomfort when contacted by the user's legs. The rounded geometry also facilitates ease of cleaning, since dirt and debris are less likely to accumulate along sharp corners or edges. In preferred embodiments, the seat body 108 is formed from a high-strength thermoplastic material, for example, UV-stabilized polypropylene or polycarbonate, which provides a combination of mechanical durability, resistance to common cleaning agents, lightweight handling, and long-term dimensional stability. The choice of material further ensures that the seat body 108 can withstand repeated dynamic loading without cracking, deformation, or surface degradation.

[0039] As shown in FIG. 2, the inner extension 104 projects downwardly from the inner perimeter 112 of the seat body 108 to provide a first point of stabilizing contact with the toilet bowl rim. The inner extension 104 is dimensioned and contoured to closely trace the internal curvature of a standard elongated toilet bowl rim, thereby achieving a snug, conformal fit. In preferred embodiments, the inner extension 104 extends downward a distance of approximately 12.7 mm±1 mm, although variations may be implemented depending on the dimensional tolerances of regional toilet bowl designs.

[0040] In one embodiment herein, the inner extension 104 functions as a mechanical barrier against inward displacement of the toilet seat 102 by engaging the internal rim surface. When a user shifts body weight laterally or forward on the toilet seat 102, forces are often transmitted inward toward the toilet bowl. In conventional seats, these forces can cause undesirable movement, loosening, or gradual misalignment over time. The presence of the inner extension 104 intercepts such forces, preventing the toilet seat 102 from slipping toward the interior of the toilet bowl.

[0041] In one embodiment herein, the geometry of the inner extension 104 may further include a slightly flared or radiused edge to increase surface contact with the toilet bowl rim, thereby improving stability and distributing load across a wider area to minimize wear on the ceramic surface. In some embodiments, the inner extension 104 may also incorporate grip-enhancing features selected from molded ridges, micro-texturing, and an elastomeric lining to enhance grip and further resist micro-movements during dynamic loading. By combining precise dimensional control with structural reinforcement, the inner extension 104 contributes substantially to the overall passive anti-slip functionality of the toilet seat apparatus 100 without requiring additional adhesives, clamps, or post-installation adjustments.

[0042] As shown in FIG. 2, the outer extension 106 projects downwardly from the outer perimeter 114 of the seat body 108 to provide a second stabilizing engagement point with the toilet bowl rim. The outer extension 106 extends downward a distance of approximately 16.3 mm±1 mm and is shaped to cradle the external contour of the toilet bowl rim in a complementary manner. By wrapping partially around the exterior rim surface, the outer extension 106 forms a structural barrier that prevents the toilet seat 102 from sliding laterally outward or shifting away from the toilet bowl under load.

[0043] This engagement is particularly effective when combined with the inner extension 104, as the two features act cooperatively to lock the seat body 108 into position on both sides of the toilet bowl rim. The inner extension 104 resists inward displacement while the outer extension 106 resists outward and lateral displacement, together providing a passive “dual locking” effect that stabilizes the toilet seat apparatus 100 in all lateral directions. In this way, the toilet seat 102 remains securely aligned with the toilet bowl regardless of whether forces are applied inward, outward, or side-to-side during normal user activity.

[0044] The geometry of the outer extension 106 may include a rounded or radiused lower edge to distribute contact forces evenly across the ceramic bowl surface, reducing the potential for scratching or localized stress points. Optionally, the outer extension 106 may incorporate molded texturing, shallow ribs, or a bonded elastomeric layer to enhance frictional resistance against smooth glazed ceramic surfaces. The structural depth of the outer extension 106 also contributes to the overall rigidity of the seat body 108, thereby ensuring that the stabilizing function is maintained over repeated cycles of loading and unloading.

[0045] Accordingly, the outer extension 106, in conjunction with the inner extension 104, provides a robust and maintenance-free stabilization system that eliminates the shortcomings of conventional designs, such as dependence on tightening assemblies alone, reliance on adhesive pads, or frequent readjustment of loose hinges. This cooperative locking action enhances user safety and comfort while significantly extending the operational lifespan of the toilet seat apparatus 100.

[0046] In one embodiment herein, the inner extension 104 and the outer extension 106 are integrally formed with the toilet seat 102 as a unitary molded structure. Unlike conventional seats that may require additional stabilizing components to be separately manufactured and attached, the present design incorporates the inner extension 104 and the outer extension 106 directly into the seat body 108 during manufacture. In preferred embodiments, the toilet seat 102 is produced using an injection-molding process, which ensures precise dimensional control of the inner extension 104 and the outer extension 106 relative to the seat body 108, thereby achieving consistent quality and eliminating the possibility of misalignment during assembly. This one-piece construction simplifies production, reduces overall manufacturing complexity, and lowers assembly costs by avoiding the need for secondary fastening processes such as adhesives, rivets, or screws. The unitary design also reduces potential failure points, since there are no discrete joints between the seat body 108 and the extensions (104, 106) that could loosen or detach over time. The resulting structure is inherently more robust and durable compared to designs with add-on stabilizers, and it minimizes long-term maintenance requirements for the end user.

[0047] In one embodiment herein, the toilet seat 102 is fabricated from a high-strength thermoplastic material, such as UV-stabilized polypropylene or polycarbonate, although other plastics of comparable strength and resilience may also be used. These materials provide several critical advantages: (i) excellent mechanical durability to withstand repeated loading and unloading cycles without fracture or deformation; (ii) chemical resistance to household cleaning agents and disinfectants to ensure that the material does not degrade or weaken with regular sanitation; and (iii) resistance to discoloration and ultraviolet degradation to maintain both functional integrity and aesthetic appearance over extended use.

[0048] Through this structural integration, the inner extension 104 and the outer extension 106 operate as permanent anti-slip elements that do not require post-installation adjustment or recalibration. Once installed, the inner extension 104 and the outer extension 106 provide continuous, passive engagement with the toilet bowl rim, thereby ensuring stability and safety over the entire operational life of the toilet seat apparatus 100. This integrated approach combines manufacturing efficiency, mechanical reliability, and user safety, thereby offering a significant improvement over conventional toilet seat designs.

[0049] In one embodiment herein, at least one of the inner extension 104 and the outer extension 106 may include surface enhancements configured to increase frictional grip against the toilet bowl rim and further improve stability. Such enhancements may include micro-texturing formed during the molding process to create fine surface roughness, molded ridges or projections that increase contact pressure at discrete points, or the incorporation of elastomeric pads bonded or co-molded onto the contact surfaces. These optional features enhance the ability of the inner extension 104 and the outer extension 106 to resist micro-movements and vibrations that may occur during repeated loading and unloading cycles. By increasing the effective coefficient of friction between the extensions (104, 106) and the smooth glazed ceramic rim, these enhancements provide a secondary safeguard against slippage, complementing the geometric locking effect achieved by the dual-extension structure.

[0050] Such reinforced grip features are particularly advantageous in high-use or high-traffic environments, including hospitals, schools, airports, and public restrooms, where toilet seats are subjected to frequent and varied use. In these settings, added stability minimizes the likelihood of loosening or misalignment over time, thereby improving both user safety and maintenance efficiency. The incorporation of elastomeric pads may further serve to dampen vibrations, reduce noise during use, and protect the ceramic rim from abrasion.

[0051] In one embodiment herein, the toilet seat 102 is structurally configured to withstand static and dynamic loads of up to 500 N without permanent deformation, thereby providing a safety margin sufficient for diverse user groups across age, body weight, and physical condition. The seat body 108, together with the integrally formed extensions (104, 106), maintains dimensional stability and mechanical strength under repeated stress cycles, thereby ensuring a long operational lifespan even in demanding usage scenarios. This load-bearing capability demonstrates the robust engineering of the toilet seat apparatus 100 and highlights its suitability for both domestic and institutional installations.

[0052] FIG. 4 refers to a top view of the toilet seat 102, depicting the hinge assembly 116 and the seat cover 120. In one embodiment herein, the hinge assembly 116 is mechanically attached to the seat body 108 of the toilet seat 102. The hinge assembly 116 performs a dual function. First, the hinge assembly 116 is configured to enable pivotal mounting of the toilet seat 102 relative to the toilet bowl rim, thereby allowing the seat to be selectively raised or lowered by the user. Second, the hinge assembly 116 serves as a mounting base through which fastening hardware, such as bolts and nuts of the tightening assembly 122 (shown in FIG. 1), is passed to secure the toilet seat apparatus 100 to the toilet bowl. By combining these two roles into a single integrated component, the hinge assembly 116 simplifies installation, reduces part count, and ensures long-term stability of the toilet seat apparatus 100.

[0053] In one embodiment herein, the hinge assembly 116 may include hinge pins, barrels, or a hinge rod, along with cooperating bushings or sleeves, to define a pivot axis that supports smooth and controlled movement of the toilet seat 102. Optional features such as damping inserts or soft-close mechanisms may be incorporated within the hinge assembly 116 to further improve user experience and reduce noise during operation. The hinge assembly 116 may be dimensioned at approximately 183 mm×66 mm×38 mm, providing sufficient width and strength to accommodate the fastening loads transferred from the tightening assembly 122 while maintaining a compact profile.

[0054] In one embodiment herein, the seat body 108 is provided with mounting apertures 118 spaced approximately 139 mm±10 mm apart, thereby conforming to industry-standard toilet bowl mounting hole spacing and ensuring broad compatibility across a wide range of domestic and commercial toilet fixtures. This standardized spacing enables the toilet seat apparatus 100 to be retrofitted onto existing installations without requiring structural modifications to the toilet bowl, thereby making the design highly versatile and user-friendly.

[0055] In one embodiment herein, the seat cover 120 (clearly shown in FIG. 1) is pivotally connected to the toilet seat 102 through the hinge assembly 116. The hinge assembly 116, located at the rear portion of the toilet bowl rim, thereby provides a common pivot axis that enables both the seat body 108 and the seat cover 120 to be rotated independently or together between raised and lowered positions. This dual-pivot arrangement allows a user to raise only the seat cover 120 when the seat body 108 is to be used, or to raise both the seat cover 120 and the seat body 108 when access to the toilet bowl is required, thus enhancing versatility in everyday use.

[0056] During operation, the seat cover 120 may be positioned in a closed state, in which the seat cover 120 overlies the toilet seat 102 to protect the upper sitting surface 110 from dust, debris, or accidental contact when the toilet seat apparatus 100 is not in use. Alternatively, the seat cover 120 may be placed in an open state, in which it exposes the toilet seat 102 for user access. The seat cover 120 functions not only as a protective element but also as an aesthetic component that contributes to the overall clean and hygienic appearance of the toilet seat apparatus 100.

[0057] In one embodiment herein, the seat cover 120 is molded from the high-strength thermoplastic material, such as UV-stabilized polypropylene or polycarbonate, thereby ensuring uniform strength, finish, and resistance to common cleaning agents. In some embodiments, the seat cover 120 may optionally include internal reinforcement ribs or stiffening structures to enhance durability and reduce the risk of flexing, cracking, or warping under repeated use. Such reinforcement improves the long-term structural integrity of the seat cover 120 without significantly increasing weight or altering the streamlined profile.

[0058] In one embodiment herein, the seat cover 120 may have approximate dimensions of 455 mm×360 mm×13 mm, which provides sufficient coverage for the seat body 108 while maintaining a low-profile thickness for aesthetic appeal. The edges of the seat cover 120 may be smoothly rounded to reduce the risk of accidental injury and to facilitate ease of cleaning. In some embodiments, the seat cover 120 may further incorporate optional design features, such as soft-close dampers integrated into the hinge assembly 116, to prevent sudden impact when lowering and to enhance user convenience.

[0059] FIG. 5 refers to a perspective view of the tightening assembly 122 of the anti-slip toilet seat apparatus 100. In one embodiment herein, the tightening assembly 122 is configured to cooperate with the hinge assembly 116 (shown in FIG. 4) to securely fasten the toilet seat apparatus 100 to the toilet bowl rim. The tightening assembly 122 includes a threaded bolt 124 having a slotted head to engage a tool, a washer 126 for distributing load, a bushing 128 for alignment, and a nut 130 for locking engagement. During installation, the threaded bolt 124 is inserted through the hinge assembly 116, and passes into at least one corresponding mounting hole of the toilet bowl rim. Upon tightening of the nut 130, the hinge assembly 116 is clamped securely against the toilet bowl, with the washer 126 protecting the ceramic surface from localized stress, thereby attaching the toilet seat apparatus 100 to the toilet bowl rim. In one embodiment herein, the tightening assembly 122 may include dimensions of approximately 65 mm×25.1 mm×33.9 mm.

[0060] The use of threaded bolt 124 in conjunction with the hinge assembly 116 allows the tightening assembly 122 to accommodate slight dimensional variations in toilet bowl manufacturing, thereby ensuring reliable attachment across a broad range of industry-standard fixtures. The washer 126 and the bushing 128 may be provided to distribute load evenly across the ceramic surface and to reduce the risk of cracking or localized stress concentrations. In some embodiments, components of the tightening assembly 122 may be fabricated from corrosion-resistant metals, such as stainless steel or brass, or from reinforced polymeric materials to enhance longevity and resist degradation when exposed to moisture and cleaning chemicals.

[0061] Even if the tightening assembly 122 gradually loosens due to repeated use, vibration, or long-term wear, the extensions (104, 106) of the seat body 108 continue to provide passive anti-slip stability by mechanically engaging both the inner and outer surfaces of the toilet bowl rim. This cooperative engagement ensures that the toilet seat apparatus 100 remains laterally stable and prevents misalignment, rocking, or accidental detachment. The tightening assembly 122 complements, but does not replace, the anti-slip functionality of the inner and outer extensions (104, 106), thereby delivering a redundant safety mechanism that substantially reduces the likelihood of failure in real-world use.

[0062] In one embodiment herein, the geometry of the toilet seat apparatus 100 is carefully configured to accommodate a variety of toilet bowl rim profiles, ensuring a secure and stable fit. The seat's design incorporates specific curvature guidelines for optimal engagement with the rim. The side curvature radius ranges from 250 mm to 400 mm, providing lateral stability. The back curvature radius measures between 200 mm and 300 mm, concaving gently toward the user to enhance comfort and ensure a secure fit. The front curvature, particularly for open-front designs, features a gentle U-shape with a radius of approximately 150 mm to 200 mm, designed to facilitate hygienic accessibility.

[0068] In one embodiment herein, the anti-slip toilet seat apparatus 100 offers several significant technical advantages over conventional toilet seat designs. The inner extension 104 and the outer extension 106 provides a passive anti-slip mechanism that mechanically engages both the inner and outer surfaces of the toilet bowl rim. This arrangement ensures that the toilet seat 102 remains laterally stable during use, even in the event of loosening of the fastening hardware, thereby addressing one of the most common failure points of conventional toilet seats. The integration of the hinge assembly 116 with the tightening assembly 122 creates a compact and efficient mounting architecture. The hinge assembly 116 serves as both the pivoting interface for the seat body 108 and seat cover 120, and as the base through which the tightening assembly 122 clamps the toilet seat apparatus 100 to the toilet bowl. This dual functionality simplifies installation, reduces part count, and ensures compatibility with industry-standard mounting dimensions, such as the 139 mm±10 mm aperture spacing.

[0069] In one embodiment herein, the toilet seat apparatus 100 is designed for long-term durability and safety. The seat body 108, including the extensions (104, 106), is formed as a unitary molded structure from high-strength, UV-stabilized thermoplastic materials such as polypropylene or polycarbonate. This eliminates secondary assembly operations, reduces potential failure points, and ensures resistance to mechanical fatigue, chemical cleaning agents, and discoloration over time. The toilet seat apparatus 100 is further engineered to withstand static and dynamic loads up to 500 N, thereby ensuring structural reliability under diverse user conditions.

[0070] In one embodiment herein, the optional inclusion of surface enhancements such as micro-texturing, molded ridges, or elastomeric pads on the extensions (104, 106) provides increased frictional grip, which is especially beneficial in high-use environments such as hospitals, schools, airports, and public restrooms. These features not only enhance stability but also protect the ceramic bowl rim by distributing contact forces more evenly and reducing localized wear. The combined architecture delivers a maintenance-free, self-stabilizing design that eliminates the need for adhesives, auxiliary clamps, or frequent re-tightening of fasteners. As a result, the toilet seat apparatus 100 improves user safety, comfort, and convenience while reducing long-term maintenance and replacement costs for both residential and commercial installations.

[0071] In further embodiments, the anti-slip toilet seat apparatus 100 is adaptable to a wide range of toilet bowl geometries beyond the elongated form. The seat body 108 of the toilet seat 102 may be manufactured in multiple shapes while retaining the dual downward stabilizing system of the inner extension 104 and outer extension 106, which conform to the corresponding inner and outer rim profiles. Such shapes include, but not limited to, a D-shaped seat, a smiley-D seat, a pointed seat, a curved-D seat, a standard universal seat, an oval seat, a flat front seat, a round front seat, a wavy side seat, a square seat, a round seat, and an octagonal seat. In each case, the inner extension 104 and the outer extension 106 are dimensioned to follow the specific curvature or angularity of the rim geometry, thereby ensuring inward, outward, and lateral stability regardless of bowl type.

[0072] FIGS. 6A and 6B refer to a round toilet seat 600 designed to conform to a circular toilet bowl rim. FIG. 6A shows a top view, while FIG. 6B shows a bottom view of the same embodiment. In one embodiment herein, the seat body 602 defines a substantially circular inner perimeter 604 and outer perimeter 606. The inner extension 608 projects downwardly from the inner perimeter 604, while the outer extension 610 projects downwardly from the outer perimeter 606. Both inner and outer extensions (608, 610) are dimensioned and contoured to closely trace the circular rim profile of the bowl, thereby restricting inward displacement and outward or lateral displacement during use. The seat body 602 may be fabricated from a high-strength thermoplastic material, such as UV-stabilized polypropylene or polycarbonate, and may optionally include reinforcement ribs on the underside for structural rigidity. In some embodiments, the inner and outer extensions (608, 610) may further incorporate surface enhancements such as micro-texturing or elastomeric pads to increase grip against the bowl rim, making the round toilet seat 600 suitable for residential, commercial, and public restroom installations.

[0073] FIGS. 7A and 7B refer to a square toilet seat 700 configured for use with square-profile toilet bowls. FIG. 7A shows a top view, and FIG. 7B shows a bottom view. In one embodiment herein, the seat body 702 defines substantially straight inner perimeter 704 and outer perimeter 706 edges. The inner extension 708 and outer extension 710 are formed as angular downward lips that extend along the square rim profile of the bowl. This angular arrangement allows the inner and outer extensions (708, 710) to engage tightly against the corresponding inner and outer surfaces of the square rim, thereby preventing inward, outward, and lateral slippage. The seat body 702 may be dimensioned to match modern square bowl standards, for example with equal-length sides between approximately 350 mm and 400 mm. The square toilet seat 700 provides the same anti-slip locking functionality as the elongated and round embodiments while accommodating contemporary architectural and sanitary fixture preferences. Optional surface finishes, such as glossy or matte textures, may be applied to the seat body 702 to improve aesthetics and cleaning convenience.

[0074] FIGS. 8A and 8B refer to a U-shaped toilet seat 800, commonly employed in public and commercial restrooms for hygiene purposes. FIG. 8A shows a top view, while FIG. 8B shows a bottom view. In one embodiment herein, the seat body 802 is formed with a frontal opening that provides clearance at the front section of the U-shaped toilet seat 800, in compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards. The seat body 802 retains a continuous inner perimeter 808 and outer perimeter 810 along the rear and side portions of the U-shaped toilet seat 800, from which the inner extension 804 and outer extension 806 project downwardly. These downward projections engage the corresponding rear and side portions of the toilet bowl rim, thereby ensuring lateral stability and preventing displacement even though the frontal section is discontinuous. The U-shaped toilet seat embodiment 800 combines the hygienic advantages of an open-front design with the mechanical stability of the dual-extension anti-slip mechanism. The seat body 802 may further be reinforced at the side arms to withstand high dynamic loads typical in public-use environments.
