Abstract

Proposed are schemes, solutions, concepts, designs, methods and systems pertaining to aiding and / or improving image acquisition of a portion of a surface of the subject by a handheld device having a plurality of end-effectors for engagement with a portion of the surface of a subject. Specifically, deformation of said end-effectors under a load may cause some of the end-effectors to encroach on a field of view of image capture of the surface of the user. It has therefore been realized that a determined loading state of the end-effectors during capture of an image may be leveraged to determine a quality of the image. Thus, transfer of the image is selectively controlled based on the image quality. In this way, an overall data transfer rate may be reduced by omitting transmission of poor quality (i.e., highly obscured) images.
