PRODUCTION PROCESS OF A PREPARATION FROM THE N-HEXANE FRACTION OF CANSCORA LUCIDISSIMA WITH CYTOXIC EFFECTS ON CANCER CELLS

Abstract

The invention proposes a process for producing a preparation from the n-hexane fraction of Canscora lucidissima, which includes the following steps: a) material preparation; b) ethanol extract of Canscora lucidissima; c) dissolving the ethanol extract with hot water; d) n-hexane fraction collection; e) suspension formation; and f) powder preparation. This process produces a powder preparation with uniform particle size, high stability, and cytotoxic activity against cancer cells. The powder preparation enhances bioavailability with a simple and non-toxic production process.
