Description

Aroma adhesive and its manufacturing method

[0001] The present invention relates to an aroma adhesive and a method for manufacturing the same, and more particularly, to an improved aroma adhesive and a method for manufacturing the same, which can perform an aroma fragrance effect when used as an adhesive by manufacturing a jelly-type composition through an encapsulation process that absorbs aroma into a synthetic resin such as PPR (Polypropylene Random Copolymer), PP (Polypropylene), PU (Polyurethane), PE (Polyethylene), or PC (Polycarbonate) using citronella, lemongrass, eucalyptus, orange, lemon, lavender, peppermint, rosemary, chamomile, geranium, and basil oil (hereinafter collectively referred to as "aroma").

[0002]

[0003] Generally, anything that emits a scent to refresh the mood is called an air freshener, and these air fresheners spread the scent around to eliminate unpleasant odors such as bad smells.

[0004] For this reason, most air fresheners are used primarily in car interiors, home interiors, and bathrooms.

[0005] Recently, various functional air fresheners have been developed and utilized in aromatherapy. This natural therapy, which involves extracting plant fibers from various plants' flowers, stems, leaves, roots, and fruits and absorbing them through the nose and skin, has been rapidly gaining popularity. Its effectiveness in preventing and treating various diseases, improving skin beauty, regulating metabolism, and providing psychological stability is rapidly increasing.

[0006] In this case, aroma is a general term for citronella, lemongrass, eucalyptus, orange, lemon, lavender, peppermint, rosemary, chamomile, geranium or basil oil.

[0007] The method of implementing this directional effect using aroma is mainly through the use of diffusers and candles for direction.

[0008] That is, tools such as candles, electricity, and plaster were used to evaporate aroma, but in the case of candle use, due to the frequent occurrence of fires, improvements were needed, and as part of this, an aerosol-type spraying method using Freon and LPG was introduced.

[0009] However, their use is restricted because they cause global warming and ozone layer destruction.

[0010] In addition, the frequency of use is limited by the phenomenon, and in the case of plaster air fresheners, there is the inconvenience of having to continuously inject aroma for replenishment due to the limitation of a short duration of fragrance after aroma injection.

[0011]

[0012] The present invention has been created to solve the above-described problems of the prior art, and its main purpose is to provide an improved aroma adhesive and a method for manufacturing the same, which can perform an aroma fragrance effect when used as an adhesive by manufacturing a jelly-type composition through an encapsulation process that absorbs aromas such as citronella, lemongrass, eucalyptus, orange, lemon, lavender, peppermint, rosemary, chamomile, geranium, and basil oil into a synthetic resin such as PPR (Polypropylene Random Copolymer), PP (Polypropylene), PU (Polyurethane), PE (Polyethylene), or PC (Polycarbonate).

[0013]

[0014] The present invention provides an aroma adhesive characterized in that 20-40 wt% of a synthetic resin lancet having a size of 0.01-1㎣ and 60-80 wt% of an aroma are mixed and turned into a jelly, as a means to achieve the above-mentioned purpose.

[0015] At this time, the above aroma is also characterized by being a general term for citronella, lemongrass, eucalyptus, orange, lemon, lavender, peppermint, rosemary, chamomile, geranium or basil oil.

[0016] In addition, the synthetic resin used as the above-mentioned lancet material is characterized by being PPR (Polypropylene Random Copolymer), PP (Polypropylene), PU (Polyurethane), PE (Polyethylene), or PC (Polycarbonate).

[0017] In addition, the present invention also provides a method for manufacturing an aroma adhesive, comprising: a first step of molding a synthetic resin into a lanceolate having a size of 0.01-1㎣; a second step of placing the lanceolate molded through the first step into a container and rotating it at a speed of 200-500 rpm; a third step of spraying aroma toward the lanceolate from the top of the rotating container after the second step; a fourth step of immersing the lanceolate in which pores are formed after the third step into an aroma solution to impregnate it with aroma; and a fifth step of shaking the lanceolate impregnated with aroma up and down and left and right with a shaker (Open Air Orbital Shaker) and then pressing it with a rotating roller that applies a pressure of 10 kg / ㎠ to make it into a jelly form.

[0018] At this time, the third stage is characterized by being processed within 5 hours, and the fourth stage is characterized by being processed for 10-20 hours.

[0019]

[0020] According to the present invention, an improved effect can be obtained by manufacturing a jelly-type composition through an encapsulation process in which aromas such as citronella, lemongrass, eucalyptus, orange, lemon, lavender, peppermint, rosemary, chamomile, geranium, basil oil, etc. are absorbed into a synthetic resin such as PPR (Polypropylene Random Copolymer), PP (Polypropylene), PU (Polyurethane), PE (Polyethylene), or PC (Polycarbonate), so that an aroma fragrance effect can be performed when used as an adhesive.

[0021] [Correction pursuant to Rule 91 18.06.2024] Figures 1 to 3 are inspection results confirming whether hazardous substances are emitted or detected by the aroma adhesive according to the present invention.

[0022] Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment according to the present invention will be described in more detail.

[0023] Before explaining the present invention in more detail, it should be noted that the terms or words used in this specification and claims should not be limited to their usual or dictionary meanings, and should be interpreted as meanings and concepts that conform to the technical spirit of the present invention based on the principle that the concepts of terms can be appropriately defined to explain the invention in the best possible manner.

[0024] The aroma adhesive according to the present invention is characterized in that it is a mixture of 20-40 wt% of synthetic resin lanceolate having a size of 0.01-1㎣ and 60-80 wt% of aroma into a jelly.

[0025] That is, it is easy to understand that the aroma adhesive according to the present invention is a synthetic resin lancet material impregnated with aroma and turned into a jelly, and has a structure similar to a type of capsule.

[0026] Here, the term impregnating material refers to the object to be impregnated, and the impregnating material is aroma, and aroma, as described above, is a general term for citronella, lemongrass, eucalyptus, orange, lemon, lavender, peppermint, rosemary, chamomile, geranium, or basil oil.

[0027] And, the synthetic resins used as lancets are PPR (Polypropylene Random Copolymer), PP (Polypropylene), PU (Polyurethane), PE (Polyethylene), or PC (Polycarbonate).

[0028] Since it is a jelly-type adhesive, the aroma does not evaporate easily when configured this way. When used as an adhesive, the test results confirmed that the fragrance lasts for approximately 100-200 hours.

[0029] Additionally, it has excellent adhesive properties and was confirmed to adhere firmly to not only leather, but also paper, plastic, and wood.

[0030] In this case, the adhesive according to the present invention can be used to bond paper and plastic, paper and paper, plastic and plastic, and can be used in shoe cabinets, wardrobes, bathrooms, etc. in a state applied to the surface of cloth, etc., and can also be utilized to make business cards or cards if necessary.

[0031] In addition, the method for manufacturing the above-described aroma adhesive is as follows.

[0032] First, the first step is performed to mold the synthetic resin into lanceolate particles of 0.01-1㎣ in size.

[0033] At this time, the synthetic resin and the lancet material are as described above.

[0034] In addition, it is reasonable to form the synthetic resin into a type of micro-ball by dropping it in the form of droplets through a micro-nozzle and cooling it in cooling water at the same time to form it into a size of 0.01-1㎣.

[0035] Next, a second step is performed in which the molded material formed through the first step is placed in a container and rotated at a speed of 200-500 rpm.

[0036] The second step involves rapidly rotating the micro-ball-shaped lanceolate material, generating heat through collisions, friction, and vibration. This heat maintains the surface of the lanceolate material in a soft, glass-transition state. This is easier to understand if you think of it as a transition from a melting point to a molten state.

[0037] Then, a third step is performed, in which aroma is sprayed toward the lancet from the top of the rotating container.

[0038] The third stage, which can last up to five hours, involves the sprayed aroma penetrating the soft surface of the lanceolate and becoming embedded within, creating micropores. This creates a porous pulp-like structure, and depending on the situation, the process can be completed within five hours.

[0039] This is to increase the impregnation ability during aroma impregnation described later and to facilitate encapsulation.

[0040] After the above third step, a fourth step is performed in which the porous material is immersed in an aroma solution to impregnate it with aroma.

[0041] At this time, if the above-mentioned lanceolate is impregnated with aroma for about 10-20 hours, the ratio of lanceolate:aroma becomes about 20-40% by weight:60-80% by weight.

[0042] For example, pulp contains 78% moisture, which is higher than the pulp itself. This is due to its porous structure. The lanceolate material according to the present invention can be easily understood by considering it to be of the same concept. For easier understanding, think of it as a sponge that has absorbed water. However, it differs from a sponge in that it does not expel the absorbed aroma, and is similar to pulp.

[0043] Afterwards, the fifth step is performed, in which the aroma-impregnated lanceolate is shaken up and down in all directions using an open air orbital shaker and then pressed into a jelly form using a rotating roller that applies a pressure of 5-6 kg / ㎠.

[0044] This is to flatten the lanceolate material with the pressure of squeezing it tightly by hand, and when actually produced, even when pressing it with a rotating roller with a pressure of up to 10 kg / ㎠, the impregnated aroma did not escape and maintained a sufficient and stable impregnation state.

[0045] At this time, the above-mentioned rotary roller has a size of 9 cm in length and 5 cm in diameter.

[0046] By going through this process, it is completed as an aroma adhesive, and the viscosity of the adhesive increases due to the jelly formation by compression, which prevents the separation of the aroma impregnated inside, preventing rapid volatilization and creating a structure that can emit fragrance for a long time.

[0047] In addition, in the first step, the synthetic resin can be prepared by further adding 5.5 parts by weight of PBAT (Poly-Butylene Adipate Terephthalate), 4.5 parts by weight of 1,3:2,4-bis(3,4-dimethylbenzylidene) sorbitol, and 5.0 parts by weight of benzoic acid vinyl ester to 100 parts by weight of the synthetic resin.

[0048] At this time, PBAT (Poly-Butylene Adipate Terephthalate) is added to increase the ductility and provide flexibility, processability, and durability to the substrate.

[0049] In addition, 1,3:2,4-bis(3,4-dimethylbenzylidene)sorbitol is a substance corresponding to CAS number 135861-56-2, and is added to enhance heat resistance, crack resistance, and crack prevention of the spherical adhesive.

[0050] In addition, benzoic acid vinyl ester is a substance with CAS number 769-78-8, and is added to protect the surface of the adherend, prevent cracking, and strengthen adhesion by absorbing ultraviolet rays through the photothermal effect of ultraviolet rays.

[0051] As described above, the present invention manufactures a jelly-type composition through an encapsulation process that absorbs aroma into a synthetic resin such as PPR (Polypropylene Random Copolymer), PP (Polypropylene), PU (Polyurethane), PE (Polyethylene), or PC (Polycarbonate) by using citronella, lemongrass, eucalyptus, orange, lemon, lavender, peppermint, rosemary, chamomile, geranium, and basil oil (hereinafter collectively referred to as “aroma”), thereby enabling an aroma fragrance effect to be implemented when used as an adhesive.

[0052] [Revised on 18.06.2024 by Article 91 of the Rules] In relation to this, in order to confirm that the aroma adhesive of the present invention is harmless to the human body and environmentally friendly, a jelly-type sample was made and then requested to the Korea Construction Living Environment Testing & Research Institute to confirm whether hazardous substances were emitted or detected, and the results are as shown in the [Confirmation Result Test Report] of Figures 1 to 3.

[0053] As a result of the verification, no harmful substances were detected, and no substances with restricted or prohibited contents were detected, confirming that it is harmless to the human body and environmentally friendly.
