AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

In next-generation wireless communication systems, particularly in New Radio (NR), it is challenging for base stations to perform appropriate power control for user equipment (UE) due to unclear reporting of information regarding the UE's ability to use full power mode, nominal maximum output power, and Transmitted Precoding Matrix Indicator (TPMI) corresponding to maximum output power, leading to potential decreases in communication throughput.

Method used

The UE transmits information about available full power modes and TPMI to the base station, allowing the network to identify and utilize the appropriate power settings for optimal power control, including reporting through Uplink Control Information (UCI) or Medium Access Control Control Elements (MAC CE), enabling the UE to perform full power mode based on transmitted information.

Benefits of technology

This method allows for faster identification of available full power modes and TPMIs by the network, enabling effective power control and enhancing communication throughput by ensuring the UE operates within its maximum power capabilities.

Description

Terminal, wireless communication method and base station

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a terminal, a wireless communication method, and a base station in a next-generation mobile communication system.

[0002] Long Term Evolution (LTE) has been specified for the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) network with the aim of achieving higher data rates and lower latency (Non-Patent Document 1). Also, LTE-Advanced (3GPP Rel. 10-14) has been specified with the aim of achieving higher capacity and more advanced features than LTE (Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP (registered trademark)) Release (Rel.) 8, 9).

[0003] Successor systems to LTE (e.g., 5th generation mobile communication system (5G), 5G+ (plus), 6th generation mobile communication system (6G), New Radio (NR), 3GPP Rel. 15 or later, etc.) are also being considered.

[0004] 3GPP TS 36.300 V8.12.0 “Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access (E-UTRA) and Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN); Overall description; Stage 2 (Release 8)”, April 2010

[0005] In future wireless communication systems (e.g., NR), improvements in coverage are being considered for uplink (UL) transmissions from terminals (user terminals, User Equipment (UE)).

[0006] Therefore, it is preferable that the network (NW) grasps at least one piece of information, such as whether the full power mode is available to the UE, the nominal maximum output power corresponding to the full power mode, or the TPMI corresponding to the maximum output power. However, the method for reporting this information is not clear. If this information is not clear, for example, the network cannot set appropriate power control for the UE, and the UE cannot perform appropriate power control, which may result in a decrease in communication throughput.

[0007] Therefore, one of the objects of the present disclosure is to provide a terminal, a wireless communication method, and a base station that are capable of performing appropriate power control.

[0008] A terminal according to one aspect of the present disclosure is characterized by having a transmitting unit that transmits information regarding a Transmitted Precoding Matrix Indicator (TPMI) and a control unit that controls uplink (UL) transmission using a maximum output power corresponding to the TPMI.

[0009] According to one aspect of the present disclosure, appropriate power control can be performed.

[0011] (PUSCH transmission power control) In NR, the transmission power of the PUSCH is controlled based on the TPC command (also called a value, an increase / decrease value, a correction value, etc.) indicated by the value of a field in the DCI (also called a TPC command field, etc.).

[0012] For example, when a UE transmits a PUSCH on an active UL BWP b of a carrier f of a serving cell c using a parameter set (open loop parameter set) with index j and a power control adjustment state (PUSCH power control adjustment state) with index l, the transmission power (P PUSCH、b,f,c (i, j, q d , l)) [dBm] is expressed as follows: CMAX,f,c(i) , P O_PUSCH,b,f,c (j), M PUSCH RB,b,f,c (i), α b,f,c (j), P.L. b,f,c (q d ), Δ TF,b,f,c (i), f b,f,c (i, l), may be based on at least one of

[0013]

[0014] The power control adjustment state may be referred to as a closed loop (CL)-power control (PC) state, a value based on TPC commands of a power control adjustment state index l, an accumulated value of TPC commands, or a value due to closed loop, where l may be referred to as a closed loop index.

[0015] Furthermore, the PUSCH transmission opportunity i is a period during which the PUSCH is transmitted, and may be composed of, for example, one or more symbols, one or more slots, etc.

[0016] P CMAX,f,c (i) is, for example, the maximum transmit power of the user terminal configured for carrier f of serving cell c at transmission opportunity i (configured maximum output power, UE configured maximum output power).

[0017] P O_PUSCH,b,f,c(j) is, for example, a parameter related to the target received power (e.g., a parameter related to the transmit power offset, also referred to as a transmit power offset P0, a target received power parameter, etc.) set for the active UL BWP b of the carrier f of the serving cell c at the transmission opportunity i. O_UE_PUSCH,b,f,c (j) is P O_NOMINAL_PUSCH,f,c (j) and P O_UE_PUSCH,b,f,c It may be the sum of (j).

[0018] M PUSCH RB,b,f,c (i) is the number of resource blocks (bandwidth) allocated to PUSCH for transmission opportunity i in active UL BWP b of carrier f with serving cell c and subcarrier spacing μ, for example. b,f,c (j) is a value provided by a higher layer parameter (e.g., also called msg3-Alpha, p0-PUSCH-Alpha, fractional factor, etc.).

[0019] PL b,f,c (q d ) is, for example, an index q of a reference signal (RS, pathloss reference RS, pathloss (PL)-RS, pathloss reference RS, pathloss measurement DL-RS, PUSCH-PathlossReferenceRS) for downlink BWP associated with an active UL BWP b of carrier f of serving cell c. d is the path loss (path loss estimation [dB], path loss compensation) calculated by the user terminal using

[0020] If the UE is not provided with a pathloss reference RS (e.g., PUSCH-PathlossReferenceRS) or if the UE is not provided with individual upper layer parameters, the UE may use RS resources from a synchronization signal (SS) / physical broadcast channel (PBCH) block (SS block (SSB)) used to obtain a Master Information Block (MIB). b,f,c (q d ) may be calculated.

[0021] When the UE is configured with a number of RS resource indices up to the value of the maximum number of pathloss reference RSs (e.g., maxNrofPUSCH-PathlossReferenceRSs) and a set of RS configurations for the RS resource indices according to the pathloss reference RSs, the set of RS resource indices may include one or both of a set of SS / PBCH block indices and a set of channel state information (CSI)-reference signal (RS) resource indices. d may be identified.

[0022] If a PUSCH transmission is scheduled by a Random Access Response (RAR) UL grant, the UE uses the same RS resource index q as for the corresponding PRACH transmission. d may also be used.

[0023] When a UE is provided with a power control configuration for the PUSCH by a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource indicator (SRI) (e.g., SRI-PUSCH-PowerControl) and with one or more values of ID of the pathloss reference RS, the UE may obtain a mapping between a set of values for the SRI field in DCI format 0_1 and a set of ID values of the pathloss reference RS from higher layer signaling (e.g., sri-PUSCH-PowerControl-Id in SRI-PUSCH-PowerControl). The UE may obtain the RS resource index q from the ID of the pathloss reference RS mapped to the SRI field value in DCI format 0_1 that schedules the PUSCH. d may be determined.

[0024] If a PUSCH transmission is scheduled by DCI format 0_0 and the UE is not provided with PUCCH spatial relationship information for the PUCCH resource with the lowest index for the active UL BWP b of each carrier f and serving cell c, the UE shall transmit the PUCCH spatial relationship information for the PUCCH resource with the same RS resource index q as the PUCCH transmission in that PUCCH resource. d may also be used.

[0025] If the PUSCH transmission is scheduled by DCI format 0_0 and the UE is not provided with a spatial setting for the PUCCH transmission, or if the PUSCH transmission is scheduled by DCI format 0_1 that does not include an SRI field, or if the UE is not provided with a power control setting for the PUSCH by the SRI, the UE shall select an RS resource index q with an ID of a path loss reference RS of zero. d may also be used.

[0026] For PUSCH transmission configured by a configured grant configuration (e.g., ConfiguredGrantConfig), if the configured grant configuration includes a specific parameter (e.g., rrc-ConfiguredUplinkGrant), the RS resource index q is determined by a path loss reference index (e.g., pathlossReferenceIndex) in the specific parameter. d may be provided to the UE.

[0027] For the PUSCH transmission configured by the configuration grant configuration, if the configuration grant configuration does not include a specific parameter, the UE may determine the RS resource index q from the value of the ID of the path loss reference RS mapped to the SRI field in the DCI format that activates the PUSCH transmission. d If the DCI format does not include an SRI field, the UE may determine an RS resource index q with an ID of a pathloss reference RS of zero. d may be determined.

[0028] Δ TF,b,f,c(i) is the transmission power adjustment component (offset, transmission format compensation) for UL BWP b of carrier f of serving cell c.

[0029] f b,f,c (i, l) is the PUSCH power control adjustment state for the active UL BWP b of carrier f of serving cell c at transmission opportunity i. b,f,c (i,l) may be based on δPUSCH,b,f,c(i,l).

[0030] If TPC accumulation is valid, f b,f,c (i,l) may be based on the accumulated value of δPUSCH,b,f,c(m,l).

[0031] If TPC accumulation is invalid, f b,f,c (i,l) may be δPUSCH,b,f,c(i,l) (absolute value).

[0032] If information indicating that TPC accumulation is disabled (TPC-Accumulation) is not set (if information indicating that TPC accumulation is disabled is not provided, and TPC accumulation is set to be enabled), the UE accumulates TPC command values and determines the transmit power based on the accumulation result (power control state) (applies the TPC command values via accumulation).

[0033] When information indicating that TPC accumulation is disabled (TPC-Accumulation) is set (when information indicating that TPC accumulation is disabled is provided, when TPC accumulation is set to disabled), the UE does not accumulate TPC command values and determines the transmission power based on the TPC command values (power control state) (applies the TPC command values without using accumulation).

[0034] δPUSCH,b,f,c(i,l) may be the TPC command value included in DCI format 0_0 or DCI format 0_1 that schedules PUSCH transmission opportunity i on active UL BWP b of carrier f of serving cell c, or the TPC command value jointly coded with other TPC commands in DCI format 2_2 with CRC scrambled by a specific Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI) (e.g., TPC-PUSCH-RNTI).

[0035] Σ m=0 C(Di)-1 δPUCCH,b,f,c(m,l) is the cardinality C(D i ) a set of TPC command values D i It may be the sum of the TPC command values in i is the number of PUSCH transmission opportunities i-i0 on the active UL BWP b of carrier f of serving cell c for the PUSCH power control adjustment state l. PUSCH (i-i0)-1 symbols ago and K of PUSCH transmission opportunity i PUSCH (i) may be the set of TPC command values received between symbols (i) and (ii) for PUSCH transmission opportunity i-i. PUSCH (i-i0) symbols ago is K of PUSCH transmission opportunity i PUSCH (i) It may be the smallest positive integer that is earlier than the symbol before.

[0036] If PUSCH transmission is scheduled by DCI format 0_0 or DCI format 0_1, K PUSCH (i) may be the number of symbols in the active UL BWP b of carrier f of serving cell c after the last symbol of the corresponding PDCCH reception and before the first symbol of the PUSCH transmission. If PUSCH transmission is configured by configured grant configuration information (ConfiguredGrantConfig), then K PUSCH (i) is the number of symbols per slot N in the active UL BWP b of carrier f of serving cell csymb slot and the minimum value of the value provided by k2 in the PUSCH common configuration information (PUSCH-ConfigCommon). PUSCH,min It may also be the number of symbols.

[0037] The power control adjustment state may be configured to have multiple states (e.g., two states) or a single state depending on a higher layer parameter. When multiple power control adjustment states are configured, one of the multiple power control adjustment states may be identified by an index l (e.g., l∈{0, 1}).

[0038] The transmission power of the PUCCH, the transmission power of the SRS, and the transmission power of the PUSCH are set to the maximum output power P CMAX,f,c(i) is limited by

[0039] (Nominal maximum output power / set maximum output power) The UE power class specifies the maximum output power (nominal maximum output power, nominal UE power, UE maximum output power) for the transmission bandwidth within the channel bandwidth of the NR carrier.

[0040] As an example in Figure 1, a nominal maximum output power P_PowerClass is defined for each UE power class and band. Power Class 1 is defined for public safety only. Power Class 1.5 is defined for UEs with dual transmission (Tx). Power Class 2 is defined for high power UEs. Power Class 3 is defined for handheld cellular UEs.

[0041] Class 3, with 23 dBm, is the default power class, which is derived based on a specific absorption rate (SAR) assumption that 100% of a resource is used for UL transmission.

[0042] The settings (upper and lower bounds) of P_CMAX are defined by the following equation:

[0043]

[0044] where P_EMAX,c is the value given by the p-Max information element or additionalPmax for serving cell c (maximum allowed UE output power signaled by higher layers), and ΔP_PowerClass is the adjustment to the nominal maximum output power P_PowerClass for a given power class, which is a duty cycle dependent power constraint.

[0045] In any of the following states (conditions) 1 to 4, P_PowerClass>0. If the state is not any of states 1 to 4, P_PowerClass=0.

[0046] [State 1] If any of the following conditions are met, ΔP_PowerClass=3 dB for a Power Class (PC) 2 UE and ΔP_PowerClass=6 dB for a PC1.5 UE: - A p-Max of 23 dBm or less is indicated; - The UECapabilitymaxUplinkDutyCycle-PC2-FR1 field is not present, the UECapabilitymaxUplinkDutyCycle-MPE-FR1 field is not present, and the percentage of UL symbols transmitted within a certain evaluation period is higher than 50%; - The UECapabilitymaxUplinkDutyCycle-PC2-FR1 field is present, and the percentage of UL symbols transmitted within a certain evaluation period is higher than maxUplinkDutyCycle-PC2-FR1 (the exact evaluation period is shorter than one radio frame). The field UE capability maxUplinkDutyCycle-MPE-FR1 is present and the percentage of UL symbols transmitted in an evaluation period is higher than maxUplinkDutyCycle-MPE-FR1 (the exact evaluation period is shorter than one radio frame).

[0047] State 2: ΔP_PowerClass=3 dB for a PC1.5 UE if any of the following conditions are met: A p-Max between 23 dBm and 26 dBm is indicated; The UECapabilitymaxUplinkDutyCycle-PC2-FR1 field is not present, the UECapabilitymaxUplinkDutyCycle-MPE-FR1 field is not present, and the percentage of UL symbols transmitted within a certain evaluation period is between 25% and 50%; The UECapabilitymaxUplinkDutyCycle-PC2-FR1 field is present, and the percentage of UL symbols transmitted within a certain evaluation period is between maxUplinkDutyCycle-PC2-FR1 and maxUplinkDutyCycle-PC2-FR1 / 2 (the exact evaluation period is shorter than one radio frame). The field UE capability maxUplinkDutyCycle-MPE-FR1 is present and the percentage of UL symbols transmitted in an evaluation period is higher than maxUplinkDutyCycle-MPE-FR1 (the exact evaluation period is shorter than one radio frame).

[0048] [State 3] If the UE is configured with supplemental uplink (SUL) configuration and in the band in which the UE exhibits power class 2, the default power class requirements specified in the specification apply, then ΔP_PowerClass=3 dB.

[0049] [State 4] If a PC2 capable UE with transmit diversity (txDiversity-r16) capability or a PC1.5 capable UE indicates SRS transmit switch (SRS-TXSwitch) capability 't1r2' or 't1r4' or 't1r1-t1r2' or 't1r1-t1r2-t1r4', then ΔP_PowerClass=3dB applies during SRS transmission occasions with SRS resources configured in each SRS resource set consisting of one SRS port and with usage in the SRS-ResourceSet set to 'antennaSwitching'.

[0050] Rel. 17 NR defines a high-power UE, which can transmit using power greater than 23 dBm. 23 dBm is considered the default PC (PC3). 23 dBm is derived based on the SAR requirement when the UE transmits UL on 100% of a given resource.

[0051] (Full Power UL Transmission) For UL transmission, three solutions are adopted depending on the UE's Power Amplifier (PA) (Fig. 2).

[0052] Mode 0 corresponds to a UE equipped with a fully rated PA [4] (maximum power not less than the maximum power of the PowerClass) for all antenna ports. For example, the power of each antenna port is 23 dBm. In this case, the scaling factor is fixed to 1 in all precoders. Note that the maximum output power of a UE in Power Class 3 is 23 dBm.

[0053] Mode 1 applies to UEs in which the output power of all (or some) antenna ports is less than 23 dBm. Since the performance of the UE may not improve even if it supports all non-antenna selection precoders, some precoders are introduced.

[0054] Mode 2 applies to UEs equipped with a full-rated PA [4] (maximum power not less than the maximum power of the PowerClass) for all antenna ports. The UE reports a precoder that enables full power to the NW. In this case, the scaling factor in the reported precoder is fixed to 1.

[0055] <Mode 0> A UE in Mode 0 does not reduce its transmit power by a scaling factor. In Rel. 16 and later, for example, the UE can achieve full power no matter what Transmitted Precoding Matrix Indicator (TPMI) index is instructed to the UE by the network. To fix the scaling factor to 1, the amplitude values of all precoders have been changed from Rel. 15.

[0056] Figure 3 shows codebooks for rank = 1 in Rel. 15 and Rel. 16. Specifically, Figure 3 shows codebook subsets for single-layer transmission using four antenna ports (DFT-S-OFDM) in Rel. 15 and 16. In Rel. 15, the codebook corresponding to full power was not applied in the cases of TPMI index 0-7. In Rel. 16, the codebook corresponding to full power is applied even in the cases of TPMI index 0-7.

[0057] <Mode 1> Figure 4 shows the codebook subset for Mode 1, rank = 1 in Rel. 15 and Rel. 16. Mode 1 UEs support a precoder with a fixed scaling factor of 1 in addition to the current precoder. However, relative phase errors may occur between non-coherent antenna ports. Rel. 16 allows UEs with multiple non-coherent antennas to use partial or full coherent precoders, enabling full-power transmission. For example, a UE that was unable to transmit at full power for a specific TPMI index in Rel. 15 can now transmit at full power in Rel. 16.

[0058] <Mode 2> Figure 5 shows an example of a precoder for two-port transmission in Mode 2 in Rel. 16. Figure 6 shows an example of a precoder / TPMI group for four-port transmission in Mode 2 in Rel. 16. A Mode 2 UE may report several precoders that support full power, depending on the UE's PA architecture.

[0059] The power of each UE shown in Figure 6 is the maximum output power (maximum 23 dBm) for each equipped PA. In the example of Figure 6, a UE with codebookSubset set to nonCoherent reports one group from G0-G3. A UE with codebookSubset set to partialAndNonCoherent reports at least one group from G0-G3 and one group from G0-G6.

[0060] Figure 7 is a diagram showing an example of a codebook corresponding to a mode 2 UE and rank = 1 in Rel. 16. As shown in Figure 7, in mode 2, some precoders support full power transmission. When applying mode 2, the UE may report a precoder that supports full power transmission and is fixed at a scaling factor of 1 to the NW as capability information. This allows the NW to know the precoder / TPMI that supports full power transmission.

[0061] <Power Class (PC) 2> The above modes 0 to 2 (FIGS. 2 to 7) are primarily intended for the case of power class (PC) 3. On the other hand, when PC1.5 / PC2 is taken into consideration, more diverse PA architectures can be considered.

[0062] Figures 8A and 8B show a first example of the transmit power of each PA of PC2. Figure 8A shows an architecture equivalent to the basic PA architecture, i.e., full power mode is not supported. Figure 8B shows a PA architecture corresponding to G0 in mode 2. For each PA, applying MIMO increases the maximum transmit power by 3 dB. In the example of Figures 8A and 8B, using four antenna ports makes it possible to achieve 26 dBm.

[0063] 9 shows a second example of the transmit power of each PA of PC2. In the example of FIG. 9, 23 dBm / 26 dBm is achieved at a specific port. The example of FIG. 9 is equivalent to G0 and G4 of mode 2.

[0064] <PA Architecture and Maximum Transmit Power in Each Case> Fig. 10 is a diagram showing an example of a PA architecture and maximum transmit power of a UE supporting two-antenna port transmission. As shown in Fig. 10, in the case of full power transmission in Mode 0, the maximum transmit power differs depending on whether two ports are used or one port is used. For example, even if the maximum power of each port is 23 dBm, applying two-port MIMO makes it possible to achieve 26 dBm.

[0065] Figure 11 shows an example of the PA architecture and maximum transmit power of a UE supporting four-antenna port transmission. The PA architectures for modes 1 and 2 of full-power mode transmission and non-full-power cases are omitted because they are similar to those in Figure 6. In addition, in the case of full-power transmission in mode 0, the maximum transmit power differs depending on whether four ports are used, two ports are used, or one port is used. For example, even if the maximum power of each port is 23 dBm, applying two-port MIMO makes it possible to achieve 26 dBm / 29 dBm.

[0066] (Analysis) A ΔP_PowerClass report is considered for the gNB / NW to understand the current status of the UE, but it is not clear how to report the ΔP_PowerClass. For example, a ΔP_PowerClass report based on a duty cycle method is being considered. The ΔP_PowerClass report is limited to cases where the set duty cycle is exceeded. In addition, to ensure more rational UL scheduling, the full power transmission capability corresponding to the current reference power class may also be reported.

[0067] For UEs of power class 2 or higher, UL transmissions above 23 dBm can be performed under duty cycle rules. For UEs with full power mode capability, the maximum output power may vary depending on the PA architecture and full power mode.

[0068] Depending on the UE's state of the duty cycle associated with maximum output power transmission, the benefit / feasibility of full power transmission may also vary. For example, if the UE is not capable of 26 dBm transmission and reports Mode 0 in PC2, ideally one should not expect full power Mode 0, as the maximum output power is the same as a non-full power mode.

[0069] Also, for example, if a UE cannot use full power but can use the second highest power, in the example of Figure 8A, full coherent achieves PC2, partial coherent achieves PC3, and non-coherent cannot achieve 23 dBm. Also, in the example of Figure 8B, full coherent achieves PC2, partial coherent achieves PC2 or PC3, and non-coherent achieves less than PC2 or PC3. In the example of Figure 9, full coherent achieves PC2, partial coherent achieves PC2 or PC3, and non-coherent achieves less than PC2 or PC3.

[0070] For the above reasons, it is preferable for the network (base station) to grasp information such as whether the full power mode is available to the UE, the nominal maximum output power (ΔP_PowerClass) corresponding to the full power mode, or the TPMI corresponding to the maximum output power. However, the method for reporting this information is not clear. If this information is not clear, for example, the network cannot set appropriate power control for the UE, which may cause the UE to be unable to perform appropriate power control, resulting in a decrease in communication throughput.

[0071] Therefore, the present inventors came up with the idea of a method that enables appropriate settings regarding power control.

[0085] (Wireless communication method) <First embodiment> A UE may dynamically / semi-statically transmit (report) information regarding whether the full power mode is available, and may execute the full power mode in UL transmission based on the transmitted information. This report may be transmitted in a manner different from the existing UE capability information. This allows the NW / gNB to identify whether the full power mode is actually available more quickly than by using the existing UE capability information.

[0086] [Option 1] The content of the information about whether the full power mode is available or not is, for example, at least one of the following options 1-1 to 1-2.

[0087] Option 1-1: Available full power modes, for example, at least one of modes 0, 1, and 2. The mode to report may be selected from the full power modes supported by the UE.

[0088] Option 1-1': One or more TPMIs available for full power UL transmission.

[0089] Option 1-2: A time period in which the supported / configured full power mode (Option 1-1 / 1-1') is applied. The time period may be indicated by at least one of the start timing, end timing, length, and period of the time period.

[0090] [Option 2] The method of reporting the information regarding whether the full power mode is available is at least one of the following options 2-1 to 2-4. That is, the information regarding whether the full power mode is available may be included in at least one of the following information / elements: Option 2-1: UCI on PUSCH. Option 2-2: UCI on PUCCH. Option 2-3: MAC CE in PUSCH. At least one of a new MAC CE and an existing MAC CE (for example, Power Headroom Reporting (PHR MAC CE, etc.)) may be applied. That is, the information regarding whether the full power mode is available may be transmitted in a MAC CE that does not include other information, or may be included in one MAC CE together with other information. Option 2-4: RRC information element (RRC signaling).

[0091] The PUCCH / PUSCH containing information on whether full power mode is available may be assigned a higher (or lower) priority than other PUCCH / PUSCHs. If a PUCCH / PUSCH assigned a lower priority overlaps with a PUCCH / PUSCH assigned a higher priority, the UE may cancel the transmission of the PUCCH / PUSCH assigned a lower priority.

[0092] [Option 3] The time domain operation (reporting timing) of reporting information regarding whether the full power mode is available may be at least one of the following: Option 3-1: Aperiodic (e.g., reporting is triggered by DCI). Option 3-2: Periodic (e.g., the periodicity is set by RRC). Option 3-3: Semi-persistent (e.g., reporting timing is set by RRC, and reporting is turned on / off by DCI or DL MAC CE). Option 3-4: Event triggered. Fig. 12 is a diagram showing an example of Option 3-4 of the first embodiment. For example, the UE may transmit information regarding whether the full power mode is available (S102) when a specific event occurs (YES in S101).

[0093] As an example of an event for option 3-4, at least one of the following 3-1-1 to 3-1-3'' may be applied. For example, a combination of the following conditions may be applied as an event. 3-1-1: When high power / full power UL transmission (e.g., UL transmission with a power of 23 dBm or more) becomes possible. 3-1-1': When high power / full power UL transmission (e.g., UL transmission with a power of 23 dBm or more) becomes impossible. 3-1-2: When the Power Management Maximum Power Reduction (P-MPR) value is changed. 3-1-2': When the P-MPR value is notified. 3-1-2'': When the P-MPR value becomes higher / lower than the threshold. 3-1-3: When ΔP_PowerClass is changed. 3-1-3': When ΔP_PowerClass is notified. 3-1-3'': When ΔP_PowerClass becomes higher / lower than the threshold.

[0094] [Option 4] The UE's behavior when (or after) information regarding whether the full power mode is available is reported may be one of the following options 4-1 to 4-2''. Execute and can execute may be interchangeable. Do not execute and cannot execute may be interchangeable. Option 4-1: The UE executes the specific full power mode (e.g., mode 0, 1, or 2). Option 4-1': The UE executes the specific full power mode during the reported period. Option 4-1'': The UE executes the specific full power mode until the next report. Option 4-2: The UE does not execute the specific full power mode (e.g., mode 0, 1, or 2). Option 4-2': The UE does not execute the specific full power mode during the reported period. Option 4-2'': The UE does not execute the specific full power mode until the next report.

[0095] In Options 4-1 to 4-1'', "execute (can execute) (specific) full power mode" may be read as at least one of the following. Alternatively, the UE may execute any of Options 4-1 to 4-1'' after at least one of the following operations: - Full power mode (full power mode / full power mode 1 / full power mode 2) is set / indicated. - The TPMI table for full power mode is referenced. - The TPMI for full power mode is indicated.

[0096] In options 4-2 to 4-2'', "(Specific) full power mode is not executed (cannot be executed)" may be read as at least one of the following. Alternatively, the UE may execute any of options 4-2 to 4-2'' after at least one of the following operations: - Full power mode is set and the TPMI for full power mode is referenced, but the TPMI for full power mode is not indicated (cannot be indicated). - Full power mode is set, but the TPMI for full power mode is not referenced.

[0097] <Second embodiment> [Embodiment 2.1] The UE may transmit to the NW the relationship between an adjustment value (ΔP_PowerClass) for the nominal maximum output power P_PowerClass and the full power mode (whether the full power mode is available or not). Then, the UE may transmit (report) information indicating the ΔP_PowerClass corresponding to the full power mode to the NW, thereby implicitly notifying whether the full power mode is available or not. The above relationship may be defined in the specifications. This allows the NW / gNB to identify whether the full power mode is actually available or not more quickly than by using existing UE capability information, without the UE having to make a new report.

[0098] <<Option 1>> The relationship between ΔP_PowerClass and full power mode may be at least one of the following: Option 1-1: If the UE reports ΔP_PowerClass=0, it can execute any full power mode (this may be subject to the UE's capability for supporting full power mode). If the UE reports ΔP_PowerClass>0, it cannot execute full power mode. Option 1-2: If the UE reports ΔP_PowerClass=0, it can execute full power mode 0. If the UE reports ΔP_PowerClass>0, it cannot execute full power mode 0. Option 1-3: Depending on the reported value of ΔP_PowerClass, it may be indicated that different full power modes are available. If the UE reports ΔP_PowerClass=0, it can execute at least one of full power modes 0, 1, and 2. If the UE reports ΔP_PowerClass=3, it can execute at least one of full power modes 1 and 2. If the UE reports ΔP_PowerClass=6, it cannot execute any full power mode.

[0099] The values (0, 3, 6) of ΔP_PowerClass in options 1-1 to 1-3 may be replaced with other values.

[0100] <<Option 2>> The condition for applying the relationship between ΔP_PowerClass and full power mode may be at least one of the following: Option 2-1: The reported relationship is valid unless a new report is made. Option 2-2: The reported relationship is valid for a specific period. The specific period may be defined / set / indicated by at least one of the following methods: defined in a specification, set by RRC, indicated by MAC CE, or indicated by DCI. Option 2-3: The UE may report the period for applying the relationship together with the above relationship.

[0101] [Embodiment 2.2] The UE may transmit to the NW a relationship between an adjustment value (ΔP_PowerClass) for the nominal maximum output power P_PowerClass and a precoder that can achieve the full power mode. Then, the UE may transmit (report) information indicating ΔP_PowerClass corresponding to a precoder that can achieve the full power mode to the NW, thereby implicitly notifying the NW of a precoder that can achieve the full power mode. The above relationship may be defined in the specification. This allows the NW / gNB to identify a precoder that can achieve the full power mode more quickly than using existing UE capability information, without the UE having to make a new report.

[0102] <<Option 1>> The relationship between ΔP_PowerClass and precoders that can achieve the full power mode may be at least one of the following: Option 1-1: If the UE reports ΔP_PowerClass=0, it can apply any precoder it supports. If the UE reports ΔP_PowerClass>0, it cannot apply a fully coherent precoder. Option 1-2: The UE can use different sets of precoders depending on the reported value of ΔP_PowerClass. If the UE reports ΔP_PowerClass=0, it can apply any precoder (full / partial / non-coherent). If the UE reports ΔP_PowerClass=3, it can only apply a partial / non-coherent precoder. If the UE reports ΔP_PowerClass=6, it can only apply a non-coherent precoder. Option 1-3: If the UE does not report ΔP_PowerClass, it may implicitly indicate a specific ΔP_PowerClass (e.g., ΔP_PowerClass=0, 3, or 6). The application of the precoder in this case may be the same as in option 1-1 or 1-2.

[0103] <<Option 2>> The condition for applying the relationship between ΔP_PowerClass and a precoder that can achieve the full power mode may be at least one of the following: Option 2-1: The reported relationship is valid unless a new report is made.

[0104] Third Embodiment A UE may transmit (report) information about a TPMI to a NW and control UL transmission using a maximum output power corresponding to the TPMI. The information corresponds to the maximum available output power. This allows the NW to identify which precoder / TPMI should be applied / instructed to enable the UE to output the maximum power.

[0105] [Option 1] The UE may transmit at least one piece of information from the following options 1-1 to 1-5.

[0106] Option 1-1: One or more TPMI code points and the maximum output power that the corresponding TPMI can achieve. For example, information indicating the mapping between the TPMI code points and the maximum output power.

[0107] Option 1-2: One or more TPMI code points and the maximum output power that the corresponding TPMI can achieve (a relative value to the power corresponding to the power class). For example, information indicating the mapping between the TPMI code point and the maximum output power.

[0108] Options 1-3: One or more TPMI code points and the maximum output power that the corresponding TPMI can achieve (relative to the power class and the power corresponding to the reported ΔP_PowerClass).

[0109] Options 1-4: An index corresponding to one or more TPMI codepoints and the maximum output power (relative to the power corresponding to the power class and reported ΔP_PowerClass) that the corresponding TPMI can achieve.

[0110] Option 1-5: One or more antenna ports and the maximum output power achievable by the corresponding antenna ports. For example, information indicating the mapping between the TPMI (or the antenna port) and the maximum output power using the corresponding antenna ports.

[0111] The granularity of the power range corresponding to the TPMI (i.e., the number of columns of maximum power in FIGS. 13A, 13B, and 14 described below) may vary depending on the power class. For example, if the UE supports power class 2, the columns of 26 dBm and 23 dBm may apply. For example, if the UE supports power class 1.5, the columns of 29 dBm, 26 dBm, and 23 dBm apply.

[0112] Figures 13A and 13B are diagrams illustrating a first example of option 1 of the third embodiment. In Figures 13A and 13B, a UE supports power class 2 and full power mode of G0. The PA architecture corresponds to the example in Figure 8B. Figure 13A shows the correspondence between TPMI code points (bit field mapped to index), TPMI values, and maximum power. Figure 13B shows the correspondence between TPMI code points (bit field mapped to index), antenna port indexes, and maximum power.

[0113] Fig. 14 is a diagram illustrating a second example of Option 1 of the third embodiment. Fig. 14 illustrates the correspondence between TPMI code points (bit field mapped to index), TPMI values, and maximum power when a UE supports power class 2 and full power modes of G0 and G4. The PA architecture corresponds to the example in Fig. 9.

[0114] Variation: Instead of the TPMI (TPMI code point) of options 1-1 to 1-4, the UE may transmit (report) information indicating a set / subset / group of TPMI to the NW. That is, the TPMI / TPMI code point of options 1-1 to 1-4 may be read as a set / subset / group of TPMI.

[0115] The set / subset / group of TPMIs may be defined in a specification or may be configured / indicated by at least one of RRC signaling, MAC CE, and DCI.

[0116] [Option 2] A method of transmitting (reporting) information about TPMI shown in Option 1 will be described. The information may be transmitted in at least one of the following ways.

[0117] Option 2-1: UCI on PUSCH. Option 2-2: UCI on PUCCH. Option 2-3: MAC CE in PUSCH. At least one of a new MAC CE (e.g., a MAC CE including only information related to the TPMI) and an existing MAC CE (e.g., Power Headroom Reporting (PHR MAC CE)) may be applied. That is, information related to the TPMI may be transmitted in a MAC CE that does not include other information, or may be included in one MAC CE together with other information. Option 2-4: Signaling of UE capability information. For example, at least one of ul-FullPwrMode2-TPMIGroup-r16, ul-FullPwrMode2-SRSConfig-diffNumSRSPorts-r16, and ul-FullPwrMode2-MaxSRS-ResInSet-r16. Option 2-5: Other RRC information elements (RRC signaling).

[0118] When combining option 2 of the first embodiment with option 2 of this embodiment, the UE may transmit information about whether full power mode is available and information about TPMI in the same (or different) manner.

[0119] [Option 3] After the UE transmits (reports) information related to the TPMI indicated in Option 1, the UE may perform at least one of the following operations: For example, the UE receives a setting / instruction related to the reported TPMI through higher layer signaling / physical layer signaling, and controls full power UL transmission based on the setting / instruction (Options 3-1 to 3-4).

[0120] Option 3-1: The UE can perform full power UL transmission if the reported TPMI is configured / indicated by higher layer signaling / physical layer signaling.

[0121] Option 3-2: The UE can perform full power UL transmission if a TPMI other than the reported TPMI is configured / indicated by higher layer signaling / physical layer signaling.

[0122] Option 3-3: The UE can perform full power UL transmission if the reported TPMI is not configured / indicated by higher layer signaling / physical layer signaling.

[0123] Option 3-4: The UE can perform full power UL transmission if no TPMI other than the reported TPMI is configured / indicated by higher layer signaling / physical layer signaling.

[0124] Option 3-5: In the UL scheduling DCI, the UE does not assume / expect the reported TPMI to be indicated.

[0125] Option 3-6: In the UL scheduling DCI, the UE does not assume / expect a TPMI other than the reported TPMI to be indicated.

[0126] Option 3-7: If the indicated TPMI uses one or more antenna ports corresponding to the maximum output power reported by the UE, the UE may perform full power UL transmission.

[0127] Option 3-8: The UE does not expect to be indicated with a TPMI that uses an antenna port that does not correspond to the maximum output power reported by the UE.

[0128] Option 3-9: The UE does not expect a specific TPMI to be indicated, where the maximum output power reported by the UE corresponding to the specific TPMI is greater than the actual maximum output power.

[0129] <Supplementary Information> [Applicability of Each Embodiment] The applicability of at least one option in each embodiment may be restricted based on at least one of the following conditions: The following 1 to 4 may be transmitted from the UE as UE capability information.

[0130] 1: Whether the UE supports full power mode. 2: Whether the UE supports full power mode 0. 3: Whether more than one full power mode is available. For example, whether the operating bands in the operating band combination support full power mode. Or, for example, whether the operating bands in the operating band combination support full power mode 0. 4: Whether the UE supports a power class higher than PC3 (for example, power class 1.5 or 2).

[0153] 15 is a diagram illustrating an example of a schematic configuration of a wireless communication system according to an embodiment. The wireless communication system 1 (which may be simply referred to as system 1) may be a system that realizes communication using Long Term Evolution (LTE) or 5th generation mobile communication system New Radio (5G NR) specified by the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP).

[0154] The wireless communication system 1 may also support dual connectivity between multiple Radio Access Technologies (RATs) (Multi-RAT Dual Connectivity (MR-DC)). MR-DC may include dual connectivity between LTE (Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access (E-UTRA)) and NR (E-UTRA-NR Dual Connectivity (EN-DC)), dual connectivity between NR and LTE (NR-E-UTRA Dual Connectivity (NE-DC)), etc.

[0155] In EN-DC, the LTE (E-UTRA) base station (eNB) is the master node (Master Node (MN)), and the NR base station (gNB) is the secondary node (Secondary Node (SN)). In NE-DC, the NR base station (gNB) is the MN, and the LTE (E-UTRA) base station (eNB) is the SN.

[0156] The wireless communication system 1 may support dual connectivity between multiple base stations within the same RAT (for example, dual connectivity in which both the MN and SN are NR base stations (gNBs) (NR-NR Dual Connectivity (NN-DC))).

[0161] The multiple base stations 10 may be connected by wire (e.g., optical fiber compliant with the Common Public Radio Interface (CPRI), an X2 interface, etc.) or wirelessly (e.g., NR communication). For example, when NR communication is used as a backhaul between the base stations 11 and 12, the base station 11 corresponding to the upper station may be called an Integrated Access Backhaul (IAB) donor, and the base station 12 corresponding to the relay station (relay) may be called an IAB node.

The UE may monitor the CORESET associated with a certain search space based on the search space configuration.

[0173] One search space may correspond to PDCCH candidates corresponding to one or more aggregation levels. One or more search spaces may be referred to as a search space set. Note that the terms "search space," "search space set," "search space configuration," "search space set configuration," "CORESET," "CORESET configuration," and the like in the present disclosure may be read interchangeably.

[0174] The PUCCH may transmit uplink control information (UCI) including at least one of channel state information (CSI), delivery confirmation information (which may be called, for example, Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest ACKnowledgement (HARQ-ACK), ACK / NACK, etc.), and scheduling request (SR). The PRACH may transmit a random access preamble for establishing a connection with a cell.

[0175] In the present disclosure, downlink, uplink, etc. may be expressed without adding "link." Also, various channels may be expressed without adding "Physical" to the beginning.

[0176] In the wireless communication system 1, a synchronization signal (SS), a downlink reference signal (DL-RS), etc. may be transmitted. Note that the user terminal 20 may include one or more of each of the control unit 210, the transceiver unit 220, and the transceiver antenna 230.

[0201] In this example, the functional blocks of the characteristic parts of the present embodiment are mainly shown, and it may be assumed that the user terminal 20 also has other functional blocks necessary for wireless communication. Some of the processing of each unit described below may be omitted.

[0202] The control unit 210 performs overall control of the user terminal 20. The control unit 210 can be configured from a controller, a control circuit, etc., which are described based on common understanding in the technical field to which the present disclosure relates.

[0217] The transmitting unit and receiving unit of the user terminal 20 in the present disclosure may be configured by at least one of the transmitting / receiving unit 220 and the transmitting / receiving antenna 230.

[0218] The transceiver 220 may transmit information regarding whether the full power mode is available in uplink control information (UCI) or medium access control element (MAC CE).

[0228] (Hardware Configuration) Note that the block diagrams used to explain the above embodiments show functional blocks. These functional blocks (components) are realized by any combination of at least one of hardware and software. Furthermore, the method for realizing each functional block is not particularly limited. That is, each functional block may be realized using a single device that is physically or logically coupled, or may be realized using two or more physically or logically separated devices that are directly or indirectly connected (for example, using wires, wirelessly, etc.) and these multiple devices. The functional block may be realized by combining software with the single device or the multiple devices.

[0229] Here, the functions include, but are not limited to, judgment, determination, judgment, calculation, computation, processing, derivation, investigation, search, confirmation, reception, transmission, output, access, resolution, selection, election, establishment, comparison, assumption, expectation, deeming, broadcasting, notifying, communicating, forwarding, configuring, reconfiguring, allocating, mapping, and assignment. For example, a functional block (component) that performs transmission may be called a transmitting unit, transmitter, etc. As described above, the implementation method of each is not particularly limited.

[0230] For example, a base station, a user terminal, etc. according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may function as a computer that performs processing of the wireless communication method of the present disclosure. Fig. 18 is a diagram illustrating an example of the hardware configuration of a base station and a user terminal according to an embodiment. The above-described base station 10 and user terminal 20 may be physically configured as a computer device including a processor 1001, a memory 1002, a storage 1003, a communication device 1004, an input device 1005, an output device 1006, a bus 1007, etc.

[0231] In the present disclosure, the terms apparatus, circuit, device, section, unit, etc. may be used interchangeably. The hardware configurations of the base station 10 and the user terminal 20 may be configured to include one or more of the devices shown in the drawings, or may be configured to exclude some of the devices.

[0232] For example, although only one processor 1001 is shown, there may be multiple processors. Furthermore, processing may be performed by one processor, or processing may be performed by two or more processors simultaneously, serially, or in other ways. Furthermore, processor 1001 may be implemented by one or more chips.

[0233] Each function in the base station 10 and the user terminal 20 is realized, for example, by loading specified software (programs) onto hardware such as a processor 1001 and a memory 1002, causing the processor 1001 to perform calculations, control communication via the communication device 1004, and control at least one of reading and writing data in the memory 1002 and the storage 1003.

[0234] The processor 1001, for example, runs an operating system to control the entire computer. The processor 1001 may be configured as a central processing unit (CPU) including an interface with peripheral devices, a control device, an arithmetic unit, a register, etc. For example, at least a part of the above-mentioned control unit 110 (210), transceiver unit 120 (220), etc. may be realized by the processor 1001.

[0235] The processor 1001 also reads programs (program codes), software modules, data, etc. from at least one of the storage 1003 and the communication device 1004 into the memory 1002 and executes various processes in accordance with these. The programs used are those that cause a computer to execute at least some of the operations described in the above-described embodiments. For example, the control unit 110 (210) may be implemented by a control program stored in the memory 1002 and running on the processor 1001, and the other functional blocks may be implemented in a similar manner.

[0236] The memory 1002 is a computer-readable recording medium and may be configured by at least one of, for example, Read Only Memory (ROM), Erasable Programmable ROM (EPROM), Electrically EEPROM (EEPROM), Random Access Memory (RAM), or other suitable storage medium. The memory 1002 may also be referred to as a register, cache, main memory, etc. The memory 1002 may store executable programs (program codes), software modules, etc. for implementing a wireless communication method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0237] Storage 1003 is a computer-readable recording medium and may be composed of at least one of, for example, a flexible disk, a floppy disk, a magneto-optical disk (e.g., a compact disc (e.g., a Compact Disc ROM (CD-ROM)), a digital versatile disc, a Blu-ray disc), a removable disk, a hard disk drive, a smart card, a flash memory device (e.g., a card, a stick, a key drive), a magnetic stripe, a database, a server, or other suitable storage medium. Storage 1003 may also be referred to as an auxiliary storage device.

[0238] The communication device 1004 is hardware (transmission / reception device) for communicating between computers via at least one of a wired network and a wireless network, and is also referred to as, for example, a network device, a network controller, a network card, or a communication module. The communication device 1004 may be configured to include a high-frequency switch, a duplexer, a filter, a frequency synthesizer, etc. to realize at least one of frequency division duplex (FDD) and time division duplex (TDD). For example, the above-mentioned transmission / reception unit 120 (220), transmission / reception antenna 130 (230), etc. may be realized by the communication device 1004. The transmission / reception unit 120 (220) may be implemented as a transmission unit 120a (220a) and a reception unit 120b (220b) that are physically or logically separated.

[0239] The input device 1005 is an input device (e.g., a keyboard, a mouse, a microphone, a switch, a button, a sensor, etc.) that accepts input from the outside. The output device 1006 is an output device (e.g., a display, a speaker, a light emitting diode (LED) lamp, etc.) that outputs to the outside. Note that the input device 1005 and the output device 1006 may be integrated into one device (e.g., a touch panel).

[0240] Furthermore, each device, such as the processor 1001 and the memory 1002, is connected by a bus 1007 for communicating information. The bus 1007 may be configured using a single bus, or may be configured using different buses between each device.

[0241] Furthermore, the base station 10 and the user terminal 20 may be configured to include hardware such as a microprocessor, a digital signal processor (DSP), an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC), a programmable logic device (PLD), or a field programmable gate array (FPGA), and some or all of the functional blocks may be realized using this hardware. For example, the processor 1001 may be implemented using at least one of these pieces of hardware.

[0242] (Modifications) Note that terms described in the present disclosure and terms necessary for understanding the present disclosure may be replaced with terms having the same or similar meanings. For example, a channel, a symbol, and a signal (signal or signaling) may be interchangeable. A signal may also be a message. A reference signal may be abbreviated as RS, and may also be called a pilot, pilot signal, etc. depending on the applicable standard. A component carrier (CC) may also be called a cell, frequency carrier, carrier frequency, etc.

[0243] A radio frame may be composed of one or more periods (frames) in the time domain. Each of the one or more periods (frames) constituting a radio frame may be called a subframe. Furthermore, a subframe may be composed of one or more slots in the time domain. A subframe may have a fixed time length (e.g., 1 ms) that is independent of numerology.

[0244] Here, the numerology may be a communication parameter applied to at least one of transmission and reception of a signal or channel, and may indicate at least one of, for example, Subcarrier Spacing (SCS), bandwidth, symbol length, cyclic prefix length, Transmission Time Interval (TTI), number of symbols per TTI, radio frame structure, specific filtering performed by a transceiver in the frequency domain, and specific windowing performed by a transceiver in the time domain.

[0245] A slot may be composed of one or more symbols (such as an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbol or a Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) symbol) in the time domain. A slot may also be a time unit based on numerology.

[0246] A slot may include multiple minislots. Each minislot may consist of one or multiple symbols in the time domain. A minislot may also be called a subslot. A minislot may consist of fewer symbols than a slot. A PDSCH (or PUSCH) transmitted in a time unit larger than a minislot may be called PDSCH (PUSCH) mapping type A. A PDSCH (or PUSCH) transmitted using a minislot may be called PDSCH (PUSCH) mapping type B.

[0247] A radio frame, a subframe, a slot, a minislot, and a symbol all represent time units for transmitting signals. The radio frame, the subframe, the slot, the minislot, and the symbol may be referred to by other names corresponding to the radio frame, the subframe, the slot, the minislot, and the symbol. Note that the time units such as a frame, a subframe, a slot, a minislot, and a symbol in the present disclosure may be interchangeable.

[0248] For example, one subframe may be referred to as a TTI, or multiple consecutive subframes may be referred to as a TTI, or one slot or one minislot may be referred to as a TTI. That is, at least one of the subframe and the TTI may be a subframe (1 ms) in existing LTE, a period shorter than 1 ms (for example, 1-13 symbols), or a period longer than 1 ms. Note that the unit representing the TTI may be called a slot, minislot, etc. instead of a subframe.

[0249] Here, TTI refers to, for example, the smallest time unit for scheduling in wireless communication. For example, in an LTE system, a base station performs scheduling to allocate radio resources (such as frequency bandwidth and transmission power that can be used by each user terminal) to each user terminal in TTI units. Note that the definition of TTI is not limited to this.

[0250] The TTI may be a transmission time unit for a channel-encoded data packet (transport block), a code block, a code word, etc., or may be a processing unit for scheduling, link adaptation, etc. When a TTI is given, the time interval (e.g., the number of symbols) to which a transport block, a code block, a code word, etc. is actually mapped may be shorter than the TTI.

[0251] When one slot or one minislot is called a TTI, one or more TTIs (i.e., one or more slots or one or more minislots) may be the minimum time unit for scheduling. Also, the number of slots (minislots) constituting the minimum time unit for scheduling may be controlled.

[0252] A TTI having a time length of 1 ms may be called a regular TTI (TTI in 3GPP Rel. 8-12), normal TTI, long TTI, regular subframe, normal subframe, long subframe, slot, etc. A TTI shorter than a regular TTI may be called a shortened TTI, short TTI, partial or fractional TTI, shortened subframe, short subframe, minislot, subslot, slot, etc.

[0253] In addition, a long TTI (e.g., a normal TTI, a subframe, etc.) may be interpreted as a TTI having a time length of more than 1 ms, and a short TTI (e.g., a shortened TTI, etc.) may be interpreted as a TTI having a TTI length shorter than the TTI length of a long TTI and greater than or equal to 1 ms.

[0254] A resource block (RB) is a resource allocation unit in the time domain and the frequency domain, and may include one or more consecutive subcarriers in the frequency domain. The number of subcarriers included in an RB may be the same regardless of numerology, for example, 12. The number of subcarriers included in an RB may be determined based on numerology.

[0255] In addition, an RB may include one or more symbols in the time domain and may have a length of one slot, one minislot, one subframe, or one TTI, each of which may be composed of one or more resource blocks.
