Abstract
Description
Aerosol generating product and aerosol generating system
[0001] This application is based on the Chinese patent application with application number 202310928877.6 and application date of July 26, 2023, and claims the priority of the Chinese patent application. The entire content of the Chinese patent application is hereby incorporated into this application by reference. Technical Field
[0002] The present application relates to the technical field of smoking products, and in particular to an aerosol generating product and an aerosol generating system. Background Art
[0003] Smoking articles include smoking articles that form aerosols by ignition and smoking articles that form aerosols by heating without burning. In a typical heat-without-burning smoking article, it contains an aerosol-generating substrate that can evaporate when heated to generate an aerosol and a functional segment. The functional segment cooperates with the aerosol-generating substrate to achieve the inhalation of the aerosol. The aerosol-generating substrate is heated by an external heat source so that it is heated to a degree just sufficient to emit a fragrance. The aerosol-generating substrate does not burn, but instead releases the aerosol by loading an atomizer and heating it at high temperature when in use to form smoke.
[0004] In the existing technology, the functional segment is made of materials that are prone to phase change or deformation, such as hollow paper tubes (including paper tubes with inner / outer aluminum foil, laminated films, etc.), corrugated tubes, silicone parts, hollow acetate fiber structures, etc. When the functional segment is deformed or melted by heat, it will block part of the airway, release miscellaneous gases, affect the sensory organs, and affect the suction resistance, thereby reducing the user experience.

[0048] It should be noted that, unless there is a conflict, the embodiments and technical features in the embodiments of this application can be combined with each other, and the detailed description in the specific implementation method should be understood as an explanation of the purpose of this application and should not be regarded as an improper restriction on this application.
[0049] In the description of this application, the "first direction" orientation or position relationship is based on the orientation or position relationship shown in Figures 1 and 2. It should be understood that these orientation terms are only for the convenience of describing this application and simplifying the description, and do not indicate or imply that the device or element referred to must have a specific orientation, be constructed and operated in a specific orientation. Therefore, it should not be understood as a limitation on this application.
[0050] The present application provides an aerosol-generating article, as shown in Figures 1 to 16 , comprising a media segment 10, a functional segment 20, and a filter segment 30 arranged sequentially along a first direction. Specifically, the functional segment 20 is located between the filter segment 30 and the media segment 10. The functional segment 20 is used to support and / or cool the aerosol, thereby alleviating the "burning mouth" phenomenon experienced by the user when inhaling the aerosol. The filter segment 30 is used to filter the cooled aerosol.
[0051] Specifically, referring to Figures 2 and 3, the two ends of the functional segment 20 along the first direction are in contact with the medium segment 10 and the filter segment 30 respectively. At this time, the functional segment 20 can support the medium segment 10 and the filter segment 30, thereby increasing the overall strength of the aerosol generating product. At the same time, since the functional segment 20 has a second airway hole 20a inside, it can play a role in adjusting the suction resistance. In addition, the aerosol generated by the medium segment 10 can reduce the temperature of the aerosol after passing through a certain length of the functional segment 20. That is to say, in this embodiment, the functional segment 20 simultaneously has the functions of supporting, cooling and adjusting the suction resistance.
[0052] Referring again to Figure 8 , the functional segment 20 is spaced apart from the media segment 10 and the filter segment 30. In this case, the functional segment primarily functions to reduce temperature and adjust draw resistance. It is understood that in other embodiments, the functional segment 20 may also primarily serve to support and adjust draw resistance, and this invention is not limited thereto.
[0053] It should be noted that the filter section 30 is used to filter the aerosol. It is understandable that since the aerosol flows through the filter section 30, the filter section 30 also has the function of further cooling the aerosol.
[0054] It should be noted that the aerosol-generating article 100 relies on the medium segment 10 to generate aerosol, and the functional segment 20 is not used to generate aerosol.
[0055] It should be noted that the aerosol generating article 100 of the embodiment of the present application can be used for inhalation by ignition or by heat-without-combustion. In the embodiment of the present application, the aerosol generating article 100 used for inhalation by heat-without-combustion is described as an example.
[0056] The aerosol-generating article 100 is intended for use with an aerosol-generating device.
[0057] The medium segment 10 is used to generate an aerosol when heated for inhalation by a user.
[0058] In the embodiment of the present application, the dielectric segment 10 is generally cylindrical, which may be a cylindrical shape (i.e., a circular cross-section), a prismatic shape (i.e., a polygonal cross-section), an elliptical cylinder (i.e., an elliptical cross-section), etc., without limitation.
[0059] Exemplarily, the medium segment 10, the functional segment 20 and the filter segment 30 are separable structures, and the three are not connected together by mechanical, physical structures or adhesives, but two of them may be in contact. The medium segment 10, the functional segment 20 and the filter segment 30 are a combined structure. Therefore, different medium segments 10 and different functional segments 20 can be reasonably matched to meet customer needs for different suction resistances.
[0060] The media segment 10 and the functional segment 20 are both integrally formed. In one embodiment, the media segment 10 is an integrally formed structure formed by extrusion, and the functional segment 20 is also an integrally formed structure formed by extrusion. In other words, the media segment 10 and the functional segment 20 are manufactured using the same processing technology. Compared to the prior art where the media segment and the filter segment are manufactured using different processing technologies, the media segment and the filter segment are manufactured using the same processing technology, thereby improving the production efficiency of the aerosol-generating article.
[0061] In other embodiments, the medium segment 10 and the filter segment may also be an integral structure formed by injection molding, die casting or other processes.
[0062] 2 to 15 , at least one first air passage hole 10a is provided inside the media segment 10 , and the first air passage hole 10a passes through at least one end of the media segment 10 along the first direction. That is, the first air passage hole 10a extends along the first direction of the media segment 10 .
[0063] It should be noted that the number of the first airway holes 10a is not limited, and can be one or more.
[0064] It should be noted that the multiple mentioned in the embodiments of the present application refers to a number of two or more.
[0065] The first air duct hole 10a passes through at least one end of the medium segment 10 along the first direction, which means that the first air duct hole 10a can be passed through the opposite ends of the medium segment 10 along the first direction (please refer to Figures 2 to 15), and the air flow can flow from one end of the medium segment 10 along the first direction through the first air duct hole 10a to the other end of the medium segment 10 along the first direction.
[0066] Of course, one end of the first airway hole 10a may extend through the end surface of the media segment 10 along the first direction, while the other end of the first airway hole 10a is a blind end. Each first airway hole 10a may extend through the same end of the media segment 10 along the first direction. In other embodiments, some first airway holes 10a may extend through one end of the media segment 10 along the first direction, while another portion of the first airway holes 10a extends through the other end of the media segment 10 along the first direction.
[0067] It can be understood that, compared with the first airway hole 10a penetrating one end of the medium segment 10 along the first direction, the first airway hole 10a penetrating both ends of the medium segment 10 along the first direction is more conducive to reducing the user's suction resistance.
[0068] The first airway hole 10a can increase the surface area of the medium segment 10, facilitate heat transfer, and improve heating efficiency. The aerosol in the first airway hole 10a is transported to the suction end under the action of the suction negative pressure. The first airway hole 10a can reduce the user's suction resistance and improve the user experience. It should be noted that the suction resistance is positively correlated with the flow resistance of the aerosol. The smaller the flow resistance of the aerosol in the medium segment 10, the smaller the suction resistance experienced by the user. The greater the flow resistance of the aerosol in the medium segment 10, the greater the suction resistance experienced by the user.
[0069] It should be noted that the dielectric segment 10 is formed with micropores, which are interconnected to form micro-airways that are connected to the first airway aperture 10a. In other words, the micro-airways are connected to the first airway aperture 10a. Since the micro-airways are formed by the interconnected micropores, the micropores are connected to the channel 10a. Furthermore, it should be understood that the interconnectedness between the micropores can mean that some micropores are interconnected while others are not, or that all micropores are interconnected. For example, in an embodiment where the dielectric segment 10 is a particle assembly, the gaps between the particles constitute the micropores. The size of the micropores is determined by the gaps between the particles.
[0070] The first airway holes 10a and the micro-airways can increase the surface area of the medium segment 10, facilitate heat transfer, and improve heating efficiency. When the medium in the medium segment 10 is heated, it releases aerosols, which are collected in the first airway holes 10a through the gaps between the wall materials or the micro-airways. The aerosols released by the atomized medium exposed to the first airway holes 10a (i.e., the atomized medium located on the inner wall surface of the airway holes) can be directly released into the first airway holes 10a. The aerosols between adjacent first airway holes 10a can also circulate through the micro-airways and be transported to the suction end under the action of the suction negative pressure.
[0071] It should be noted that the specific type of the functional section 20 is not limited here, as long as it can play a supporting and / or cooling role. Exemplarily, the functional section 20 is a supporting section or a cooling section.
[0072] 2 to 15 , the functional segment 20 is provided with at least one second airway hole 20a therein, and the second airway hole 20a passes through at least one end of the functional segment 20 along the first direction.
[0073] By providing the second airway hole 20a, the aerosol will flow through the second airway hole 20a when passing through the functional section 20, which is beneficial for cooling the aerosol. At the same time, by controlling the design parameters of the second airway hole 20a, it is easy to adjust the suction resistance.
[0074] It should be noted that the number of the second airway holes 20a is not limited, and can be one or more.
[0075] The second air duct hole 20a passes through at least one end of the functional segment 20 along the first direction, which means that the second air duct hole 20a can be passed through the opposite ends of the functional segment 20 along the first direction (please refer to Figures 2 to 15), and the air flow can flow from one end of the functional segment 20 along the first direction through the second air duct hole 20a to the other end of the functional segment 20 along the first direction.
[0076] Of course, one end of the second airway hole 20a may extend through the end surface of the functional segment 20 along the first direction, while the other end of the second airway hole 20a is a blind end. Furthermore, each second airway hole 20a may extend through the same end of the functional segment 20 along the first direction. In other embodiments, some second airway holes 20a may extend through one end of the functional segment 20 along the first direction, while another portion of the second airway holes 20a extends through the other end of the functional segment 20 along the first direction.
[0077] It can be understood that, compared with the second airway hole 20a penetrating one end of the functional segment 20 along the first direction, the second airway hole 20a penetrating both ends of the functional segment 20 along the first direction is more conducive to reducing the user's suction resistance.
[0078] It should be noted that the extruded functional segment 20 also has micropores formed within it. Specifically, the gaps between the components of the functional segment 20 constitute the micropores, which are interconnected to form micro-airways that connect to the second airway holes 20a. When the aerosol passes through the functional segment 20, some of the aerosol will flow through the second airway holes 20a, while another portion will flow through the micro-airways. When flowing through the micro-airways, the aerosol remains in the airways for a longer time, which is beneficial for cooling the aerosol. Furthermore, the flow resistance of the aerosol through the micro-airways is relatively high, which can increase the inhalation resistance. In other words, this facilitates the adjustment of the inhalation resistance through the functional segment 20.
[0079] It should be noted that the above-mentioned first airway hole 10a and second airway hole 20a are holes in the macroscopic sense, and the micropores are holes in the microscopic sense. The cross-sectional area of the first airway hole 10a and the second airway hole 20a is much larger than the cross-sectional area of the micropores. For example, the cross-sectional area of the first airway hole 10a and the second airway hole 20a is at least 20 times the cross-sectional area of the micropores. When the size of the micropores remains roughly unchanged, when it is less than 20 times, the size of the first airway hole 10a and the second airway hole 20a will be too small, and the aerosol will not be easily released from the inner wall of the first airway hole 10a into the first airway hole 10a, and it will not be easy to flow from the first airway hole 10a to the second airway hole 20a, and it will cause the user's suction resistance to be large, and the user's suction experience will be reduced. Therefore, in this embodiment, when the cross-sectional area of the first airway hole 10a and the second airway hole 20a is greater than or equal to 20 times the cross-sectional area of the micropore, the rate of aerosol release from the inner wall of the first airway hole 10a and the flow rate in the second airway hole 20a can be guaranteed, and the inhalation resistance can be reduced, thereby improving the user's inhalation experience.
[0080] In some embodiments, the cross-sectional area of the first airway hole 10a and the second airway hole 20a is 20 to 60,000 times the cross-sectional area of the micropore. If the cross-sectional area of the first airway hole 10a and the second airway hole 20a exceeds 60,000 times the cross-sectional area of the micropore, the area of the first airway hole 10a and the second airway hole 20a will be too large, the overall quality of the generated aerosol will be reduced, the strength of the functional segment 20 will also be reduced, the utilization rate of the aerosol generation substrate will be low, and the heating rate will be high, and the aerosol will be easily released from the micropore into the environment.
[0081] Illustratively, the cross-sectional area of the first airway hole 10 a and the second airway hole 20 a is 100 to 40,000 times the cross-sectional area of the micropore.
[0082] In some embodiments, the diameter of the first airway hole 10a ranges from 0.05 mm (millimeter) to 6 mm. When the diameter of the airway hole 10a is less than 0.05 mm, the processing cost of the medium segment 10 is high and problems such as high suction resistance and low medium utilization are likely to occur. When the diameter of the first airway hole 10a is greater than 6 mm, the cross-sectional area is large, and the airflow velocity under the same volume is lower under suction. Aerosol is easily deposited, resulting in low aerosol utilization.
[0083] The specific value of the aperture of the first airway hole 10a is not limited, for example, 0.05mm, 0.1mm, 0.5mm, 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 5mm, 6mm, etc.
[0084] It should be noted that the apertures of the first airway hole 10a and the second airway hole 20a refer to their equivalent diameters.
[0085] The equivalent diameter refers to the diameter of a circle with the same cross-sectional area as the object being measured.
[0086] The first airway holes 10a and the micro-airways can increase the surface area of the medium segment 10, facilitate heat transfer, and improve heating efficiency. When the medium in the medium segment 10 is heated, it releases aerosols, which are collected in the first airway holes 10a through the gaps between the wall materials or the micro-airways. The aerosols released by the atomized medium exposed to the first airway holes 10a (i.e., the atomized medium located on the inner wall surface of the first airway holes 10a) can be directly released into the first airway holes 10a. The aerosols between adjacent first airway holes 10a can also circulate through the micro-airways and be transported to the suction end under the action of the suction negative pressure.
[0087] The functional segment 20 is an integral structure formed by extrusion, and at least one second airway hole 20a is provided inside the functional segment 20. The second airway hole 20a passes through at least one end of the functional segment 20 along the first direction. The functional segment 20 with a porous structure formed in this way has the functions of supporting, cooling and adjusting the suction resistance.
[0088] Exemplarily, the medium segment 10 is a particle combination, also referred to as a powder combination, and is a reconstituted tobacco medium, for example, a reconstituted tobacco medium containing ingredients such as a smoke-generating agent and tobacco. The medium segment 10 is an integrated structure, for example, an integrated structure that can be formed by an extrusion process. Wherein, extrusion molding refers to a processing method in which a raw material mixture is added to an extruder, the material is pushed forward by the screw through the action between the extruder barrel and the screw, and is continuously made into various cross-section products or semi-finished products by the mold of the extruder discharge port. The medium structure formed by extrusion molding is in the shape of a strip. In this way, after the medium segment 10 is heated and pumped or stops being heated, it is an integrated medium, and the phenomenon of disintegration and falling does not occur easily, which solves the problems of the flaky, filamentous or loose granular medium segment 10 in the prior art, such as the loosening of flakes, the falling off of filamentous components and granular components, and the problem of uneven components.
[0089] Exemplarily, referring to FIG. 1 to FIG. 15 , the aerosol generating article 100 includes a wrapping layer 40 , which wraps around the outer circumference of the media segment 10 , the functional segment 20 , and the filter segment 30 .
[0090] The wrapping layer 40 can provide a certain degree of protection for the medium segment 10, reducing the surface area of the medium segment 10 directly exposed to the outside world, thereby reducing the probability of the medium segment 10 becoming damp and deteriorating due to contact with air. At the same time, it also reduces the probability of the medium segment 10 coming into contact with other components in the aerosol generating device and causing contamination.
[0091] It should be noted that the media segment 10 and the wrapping layer 40 can be an integrated structure. That is, the media segment 10 and the wrapping layer 40 are different parts of a single integral structure. This, on the one hand, stabilizes the relative position of the media segment 10 and the wrapping layer 40, thereby reducing the probability of separation between the media segment 10 and the wrapping layer 40 due to factors such as temperature fluctuations and vibration during use of the aerosol-generating article 100. On the other hand, the media segment 10 and the wrapping layer 40 can be manufactured simultaneously, thereby reducing the number of manufacturing steps and improving production efficiency.
[0092] For example, the integral structure of the media portion and the wrapping layer 40 is formed by a co-extrusion process.
[0093] Of course, the medium segment 10 and the wrapping layer 40 may also be a separate structure.
[0094] An embodiment of the present invention further provides an aerosol generating system, comprising an aerosol generating device and an aerosol generating article provided in an embodiment of the present application. The aerosol generating device comprises a heating element (not shown), which is used to heat the medium segment 10 to generate aerosol.
[0095] Specifically, the aerosol generating device includes a shell and a power supply assembly arranged in the shell. The shell has a storage chamber. The power output part of the power supply assembly is arranged in the storage chamber or around the side wall of the storage chamber. When the aerosol generating product 100 is inserted into the storage chamber at a position corresponding to the first direction range where the medium segment 10 is located, the power output part transmits power to the heating assembly in a contact or non-contact manner. The heating assembly receives energy from the outside and generates heat, thereby heating the medium segment 10 and generating an aerosol.
[0096] In the embodiments of the present application, the first direction does not specifically refer to the direction in which the outer contour of the media segment 10 is longest. Specifically, the direction in which the aerosol-generating article 100 is inserted into the storage chamber and the direction in which the aerosol-generating article 100 is removed from the storage chamber are both parallel to the first direction. The length of the media segment 10 along the first direction may be longer, shorter, or the same as the length in other directions.
[0097] For example, when the media segment 10 has a cylindrical profile, the first direction is the axial direction of the media segment 10. It should be noted that even when the axial length of the media segment 10 is less than its diameter, the first direction of the media segment 10 is still the axial direction. For another example, when the media segment 10 has a rectangular profile, the first direction is still the direction defined above, i.e., the direction for placing the aerosol-generating article 100 in and out of the receiving chamber. The first direction of the media segment 10 can be any of the length, width, or height of the rectangular parallelepiped.
[0098] An embodiment of the present application provides an aerosol-generating product. The aerosol-generating product 100 includes a medium segment 10, a functional segment 20, and a filter segment 30 arranged in sequence along a first direction. The medium segment 10 generates an aerosol when heated. The functional segment 20 mainly functions to provide support and / or cooling. The filter segment 30 is used to filter the aerosol flowing through the functional segment 20. It can be understood that since the aerosol flows through the filter segment, the filter segment also has the function of further cooling the aerosol.
[0099] The dielectric segment 10 and the functional segment 20 of the aerosol generating product 100 provided in the embodiment of the present application are both integral structures, and the functional segment 20 is an integral structure provided with a second airway hole. For example, the functional segment 20 is formed of an integral structure made of inorganic materials such as calcium carbonate, aluminum oxide, diatomaceous earth, calcined kaolin, food-grade silica gel, microcrystalline cellulose, konjac gum, starch, plant polysaccharides, and polymers such as LDPE (low-density polyethylene), PP (polypropylene), TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), PLA (polylactic acid), TPE-modified PP, and TPE-modified PE (polyethylene). The functional segment 20 improves the high temperature resistance of the functional segment 20, thereby improving the structural stability of the functional segment 20. It is not easy to deform and melt after being heated, and can improve the release of impurities, affect the inhalation resistance, and block the airway to a certain extent, thereby improving the user's experience. In addition, the first airway hole can increase the surface area of the dielectric segment, facilitate heat transfer, and improve heating efficiency.
[0100] In addition, compared with the prior art in which the medium segment 10 and the functional segment 20 are produced using different processing techniques, the medium segment 10 and the functional segment 20 are produced using the same processing technique, thereby improving the production efficiency of the aerosol generating product 100; furthermore, the medium segment 10 and the functional segment 20 are separable structures, and different medium segments 10 and different functional segments 20 can be reasonably matched to meet customers' requirements for different suction resistances and cooling, thereby further improving the user experience.
[0101] The specific components of the medium segment 10 are not limited here. For example, in one embodiment, the medium segment 10 may include plant components, auxiliary components, smoke-generating agent components, adhesive components, and flavor components.
[0102] The plant component is used to generate an aerosol when heated. The auxiliary component is used to provide a skeleton support for the plant component. The smoke-generating agent component is used to generate smoke when heated. The adhesive component is used to bond the various raw material components. The flavor component is used to provide a characteristic aroma. In this way, the plant component and the smoke-generating agent component can ensure the amount of aerosol generated, while the flavor component can enhance the release of aroma during the inhalation process, thereby improving the user experience. The auxiliary component can not only improve the fluidity of the mixed material, but also make the medium segment 10 porous to facilitate the extraction and flow of the aerosol. The adhesive component ensures that the plant component and the auxiliary component, etc., constitute a stable mixture to avoid a loose structure.
[0103] For example, the plant ingredients can be one or more combinations of powders formed from crushed tobacco leaves, tobacco leaf fragments, tobacco stems, tobacco dust, and flavorful plants. Plant ingredients are the core source of flavor, and endogenous substances in plant ingredients can produce a physiological sense of satisfaction in users. Endogenous substances, such as alkaloids, enter the human bloodstream and stimulate the pituitary gland to produce dopamine, thereby achieving a physiological sense of satisfaction.
[0104] Illustratively, the auxiliary ingredient may be one or more combinations of inorganic fillers, lubricants, and emulsifiers. Inorganic fillers include one or more combinations of heavy calcium carbonate, light calcium carbonate, zeolite, attapulgite, talc, and diatomaceous earth. Inorganic fillers can provide skeletal support for the plant ingredients and also have micropores, which can increase the porosity of the medium segment 10, thereby improving the aerosol release rate. Lubricants include one or more combinations of candelilla wax, carnauba wax, shellac, sunflower wax, rice bran, beeswax, stearic acid, and palmitic acid. Lubricants can increase the fluidity of the plant ingredient powder, reduce friction between the plant ingredient powders, and achieve a more uniform overall density distribution. They can also reduce the pressure required during the extrusion molding process, thereby reducing die wear. Emulsifiers include one or more combinations of polyglycerol fatty acid esters, Tween-80, and polyvinyl alcohol. Emulsifiers can, to a certain extent, slow the loss of flavoring substances during storage, increase the stability of the flavoring substances, and enhance the sensory quality of the product.
[0105] Exemplarily, the smoke-generating agent component may include: a monohydric alcohol (such as menthol); a polyhydric alcohol (such as propylene glycol, glycerol, triethylene glycol, 1,3-butylene glycol and tetraethylene glycol); an ester of a polyhydric alcohol (such as triacetin, triethyl citrate, a mixture of diacetin esters, triethyl citrate, benzyl benzoate, tributyrin); a monocarboxylic acid; a dicarboxylic acid; a polycarboxylic acid (such as lauric acid, myristic acid) or an aliphatic ester of a polycarboxylic acid (such as dimethyl dodecanedioate, dimethyl tetradecanedioate, erythritol, 1,3-butylene glycol, tetraethylene glycol, triethyl citrate, propylene carbonate, ethyl laurate, Triactin, meso-erythritol, a mixture of diacetin esters, diethyl suberate, triethyl citrate, benzyl benzoate, benzyl phenylacetate, ethyl vanillate, tributyrin, lauryl acetate). One or more combinations thereof.
[0106] Illustratively, the binder component wets the interface of the component materials, creating close contact and intermolecular attraction, thereby bonding the component materials, such as powders and liquids. The binder component can be a natural plant extract, a non-ionically modified viscous polysaccharide, or a combination thereof, including tamarind polysaccharide, guar gum, and modified cellulose (e.g., carboxymethyl cellulose). The binder serves to bond the particles together, preventing them from loosening. Furthermore, it improves the water resistance of the media segment 10 and is harmless to the human body.
[0107] For example, flavoring ingredients are used to provide characteristic aromas, such as hay, roasted sweet, or solid or liquid substances containing nicotine. Flavoring ingredients can include one or more combinations of tobacco or other plant, aromatic plant extracts, extracts, essential oils, and absolutes. Flavoring ingredients can also include monomeric flavoring substances, such as one or more combinations of megastigmatrienone, neophytadiene, geraniol, and nerol.
[0108] For example, in some embodiments, the composition of the functional segment 20 is the same as that of the dielectric segment 10 .
[0109] In other embodiments, the composition of the functional segment 20 is different from that of the dielectric segment 10. Specifically, the functional segment 20 can be formed into an integral structure by extrusion molding using any one or a combination of inorganic materials (calcium carbonate, aluminum oxide, diatomaceous earth, calcined kaolin, etc.), polymer materials (food-grade silica gel, microcrystalline cellulose, konjac gum, starch, plant polysaccharides, etc.), and polymers (LDPE, PP, TPE, PLA, TPE-modified PP, and TPE-modified PE, etc.).
[0110] It should be noted that the functional segment 20 has the function of adjusting the suction resistance. Specifically, the functional segment 20 can adjust the suction resistance by controlling parameters such as the number of the second airway holes 20a of the functional segment 20 and the hydraulic diameter of the second airway holes 20a.
[0111] In order to meet the user's demands for sensory characteristics such as natural and smooth inhalation, clear smoke, and comfort during the puffing process, and to improve the user's user experience, it is necessary to control the draw resistance range of the aerosol-generating article 100. It should be noted that the draw resistance is positively correlated with the flow resistance of the aerosol. The smaller the flow resistance of the aerosol in the aerosol-generating article 100, the smaller the draw resistance experienced by the user; the greater the flow resistance of the aerosol in the aerosol-generating article 100, the greater the draw resistance experienced by the user.
[0112] Illustratively, the aerosol-generating article 100 has a draw resistance in the range of 500 Pa to 1100 Pa, for example, 500 Pa, 550 Pa, 600 Pa, 650 Pa, 700 Pa, 750 Pa, 800 Pa, 850 Pa, 900 Pa, 950 Pa, 1000 Pa, 1050 Pa, 1100 Pa, etc.
[0113] When the suction resistance range of the aerosol-generating product 100 is greater than 1100 Pa, the flow resistance of the aerosol in the aerosol-generating product 100 is greater, the first airway hole 10a corresponding to the medium segment 10 and the second airway hole 20a corresponding to the functional segment 20 are relatively small, which will significantly increase the difficulty of the molding process. The sizes of the first airway hole 10a and the second airway hole 20a are difficult to control, which will increase the defective rate of the medium segment 10 and the functional segment 20.
[0114] When the draw resistance range of the aerosol generating product 100 is less than 500 Pa, the number of the first airway holes 10a corresponding to the medium segment 10 and the second airway holes 20a corresponding to the functional segment 20 is small, and the medium segment 10 is prone to burning. In addition, the medium segment 10 is prone to uneven aerosol release during the heating process (for example, the first two puffs release a large amount of aerosol, and the next few puffs release a small amount of aerosol), which affects the user's puffing experience.
[0115] When the suction resistance of the aerosol generating product 100 is within the range of 500Pa-1100Pa, the flow resistance of the medium segment 10 is relatively small (that is, the suction resistance is relatively small), and the flow rate of the aerosol is appropriate. The aerosol inside the medium segment 10 is easy to extract, the aerosol is released more evenly and the utilization rate is higher. The medium segment 10 is also less likely to burn, the user experience is relatively high, and it is also easy to process and manufacture.
[0116] For example, in some embodiments, referring to Figures 1 to 4 , in a plane perpendicular to the first direction of the aerosol-generating article 100, the sum of the cross-sectional areas of all second airway apertures 20a is greater than or equal to the sum of the cross-sectional areas of all first airway apertures 10a. This means that the porosity of the functional segment 20 is greater than or equal to that of the dielectric segment 10. In other words, the draw resistance of the functional segment 20 is less than or equal to that of the dielectric segment 10. This increases the residence time of the aerosol flowing through the functional segment 20 and the contact area between the aerosol and the functional segment 20, thereby enhancing the cooling effect.
[0117] For example, in some embodiments, referring to Figures 1 to 4 , in a plane perpendicular to the first direction of the aerosol-generating article 100, the cross-sectional area of a single second airway hole 20a is greater than or equal to the cross-sectional area of a single first airway hole 10a. In other words, the hydraulic diameter of a single second airway hole 20a is greater than or equal to the hydraulic diameter of a single first airway hole 10a.
[0118] In the embodiment of the present application, the hydraulic diameter refers to the ratio of four times the flow cross-sectional area to the circumference.
[0119] It is understood that when the aerosol flows from the first airway holes 10a of the dielectric segment 10 to the second airway holes 20a of the functional segment 20, the airflow path becomes larger, increasing the aerosol's residence time while the functional segment 20 is no longer heated, thereby achieving the effect of lowering the aerosol temperature. Furthermore, because the hydraulic diameter of a single second airway hole 20a is greater than or equal to the hydraulic diameter of a single first airway hole 10a, the flow resistance of the aerosol is reduced as the aerosol flows from the first airway hole 10a to the second airway hole 20a, facilitating aerosol extraction. Furthermore, the functional segment 20 also has micropores. When the aerosol flows through the functional segment 20, some of the aerosol can flow through the micropores, further increasing the aerosol's residence time and thus further facilitating aerosol cooling.
[0120] It is understood that a smaller number of second airway holes 20a with larger hydraulic diameters are more conducive to aerosol cooling. In a plane perpendicular to the first direction of the aerosol-generating article 100, since the functional segment 20 and the dielectric segment 10 have the same cross-section, and the hydraulic diameter of a single second airway hole 20a is larger than the hydraulic diameter of a single first airway hole 10a, the number of second airway holes 20a should be smaller than the number of first airway holes 10a. For example, the number of second airway holes 20a is less than or equal to the number of first airway holes 10a.
[0121] For example, in some other embodiments, referring to FIG. 5 , in a plane perpendicular to the first direction of the aerosol-generating article 100, the sum of the cross-sectional areas of all second airway holes 20a is less than the sum of the cross-sectional areas of all first airway holes 10a. That is, the porosity of the functional segment 20 is less than the porosity of the dielectric segment 10; in other words, the draw resistance of the functional segment 20 is greater than the draw resistance of the dielectric segment 10. In this way, as the aerosol flows from the dielectric segment 10 to the functional segment 20, the draw resistance of the aerosol-generating article 100 can be increased. This ensures that the aerosol within the dielectric segment 10 is easily extracted, the aerosol is released more evenly and at a higher utilization rate, and the dielectric segment 10 is less likely to burn. At the same time, this satisfies the user's sensory demands for natural and smooth inhalation, permeable smoke, and comfort during the inhalation process.
[0122] For example, in some other embodiments, referring to FIG5 , in a plane perpendicular to the first direction of the aerosol-generating article 100, the cross-sectional area of a single second airway hole 20a is smaller than the cross-sectional area of a single first airway hole 10a. In other words, the hydraulic diameter of a single second airway hole 20a is smaller than the hydraulic diameter of a single first airway hole 10a.
[0123] It is understood that when the aerosol flows from the first airway holes 10a of the dielectric segment 10 to the second airway holes 20a of the functional segment 20, the airflow path becomes smaller, i.e., the draw resistance of the functional segment 20 is greater than that of the dielectric segment 10, thereby facilitating an increase in the draw resistance of the aerosol-generating article 100. Furthermore, the functional segment 20 also has micropores. When the aerosol flows through the functional segment 20, part of the aerosol can flow through the micropores, further increasing the flow resistance of the aerosol, thereby further facilitating an increase in the draw resistance of the aerosol-generating article 100.
[0124] It is understood that a large number of second airway holes 20a with small hydraulic diameters is more conducive to increasing the draw resistance of the functional segment 20 and the aerosol-generating article 100. In a plane perpendicular to the first direction of the aerosol-generating article 100, since the cross-sections of the functional segment 20 and the dielectric segment 10 are identical, and the hydraulic diameters of the second airway holes 20a are smaller than the hydraulic diameters of the first airway holes 10a, the number of second airway holes 20a should be greater than the number of first airway holes 10a. For example, in some other embodiments, the number of second airway holes 20a is greater than the number of first airway holes 10a.
[0125] It should be noted that the shape of the second airway hole 20a is not limited here. For example, on a plane perpendicular to the first direction of the aerosol generating product 100, the cross-sectional shape of the second airway hole 20a is at least one of a circle (as shown in Figures 12 and 13), an ellipse, a runway, a polygon and a fan, wherein the polygon includes a regular or irregular polygon (the long strip shown in Figure 16 is an irregular polygon).
[0126] Among them, the runway shape refers to: a shape similar to an athletic track, consisting of two semicircles and two parallel straight edges alternately connected.
[0127] 6 to 15 , the aerosol-generating article 100 has at least one cavity 100a disposed therein. It should be noted that the number of cavities 100a is not limited, that is, the number of cavities 100a may be one or more.
[0128] It should be noted that the specific position and formation method of the cavity 100a are not limited here. For example, it can be formed between any two of the medium segment 10, the functional segment 20 and the filter segment 30, or it can be formed at the end of the medium segment 10 away from the functional segment 20, or it can be formed at the end of the filter segment 30 away from the functional segment 20.
[0129] By arranging the combined structure of cavities 100a at different positions, the flow path of the aerosol can be increased, the airflow channel can be enlarged, and by utilizing technical principles such as heat exchange and combining the cavity 100a structure as needed, beneficial effects can be achieved in improving aerosol formation, caching and cooling.
[0130] For example, in some embodiments, as shown in Figures 6 and 11 , the dielectric segment 10 and the functional segment 20 are spaced apart to define a cavity 100a. That is, the dielectric segment 10 and the functional segment 20 are spaced apart and, together with the wrapping layer 40 surrounding the dielectric segment 10 and the functional segment 20, form the cavity 100a. It is understood that by forming the cavity 100a between the dielectric segment 10 and the functional segment 20, the aerosol generated by heating the dielectric segment 10 can flow into the cavity 100a. The provision of the cavity 100a can buffer the aerosol generated by the dielectric segment 10, facilitate aerosol extraction, and improve the utilization rate of the dielectric segment 10. Furthermore, the provision of the cavity 100a can increase the contact area between the airflow flowing out of the dielectric segment 10 and the aerosol-generating article 100, thereby achieving a better cooling effect.
[0131] For example, in some embodiments, referring to Figures 7 and 12 , the functional segment 20 and the filter segment 30 are spaced apart to define a cavity 100a. That is, the functional segment 20 and the filter segment 30 are spaced apart and, together with the wrapping layer 40 wrapped around the functional segment 20 and the peripheral side of the functional segment 20, form the cavity 100a. It is understood that by forming the cavity 100a between the functional segment 20 and the filter segment 30, the aerosol generated by the heated medium segment 10 can flow to the functional segment 20 and then flow to the cavity 100a for buffering. Thus, during the aerosol transport process, the flow path of the aerosol is increased, thereby achieving a rapid cooling effect. At the same time, the provision of the cavity 100a can also buffer the aerosol generated by the medium segment 10.
[0132] It should be noted that in other embodiments, as shown in Figures 8 and 13 , a cavity 100a is provided between the dielectric segment 10 and the functional segment 20, and between the functional segment 20 and the filter segment 30. The cavity 100a provided in this embodiment provides aerosol buffering and cooling functions, facilitating rapid aerosol extraction. Furthermore, while prioritizing the aerosol buffering function, the cavity 100a is provided between the dielectric segment 10 and the functional segment 20, and between each functional segment 20. This alternating arrangement of cavities 100a further enhances the aerosol extraction rate and buffering function.
[0133] For example, in some embodiments, referring to Figures 10 and 15 , a cavity 100a is provided at least at one end of the media segment 10 distal from the functional segment 20. Specifically, the cavity 100a is provided at least at the distal lip end of the media segment 10. This cavity 100a can store air, increasing the contact area between the media segment 10 and the air, facilitating the natural diffusion of aerosols generated by the heated media segment 10 and facilitating the extraction of the aerosols.
[0134] The distal lip end of the media segment 10 refers to the end of the media segment 10 that is away from the user when the user uses the aerosol-generating article 100.
[0135] For example, in some embodiments, as shown in Figures 9 and 14 , a cavity 100a is provided at least at one end of the filter segment 30 distal from the functional segment 20. Specifically, the cavity 100a is provided at least near the lip end of the filter segment 30. This increases the area of the cavity 100a near the lip end of the filter segment 30 and reduces heat conduction efficiency. As a result, after the aerosol flows out of the inlet lip end of the filter segment 30, it can quickly come into contact with the air. This allows the aerosol to rapidly exchange heat and cool down when it encounters the cool outside air, taking advantage of the relatively low thermal conductivity of air. This alleviates the "hot" problem of the flue gas and facilitates aerosol extraction and cooling functions.
[0136] For example, in some embodiments, as shown in Figures 7 and 8 , the functional segment 20 is provided with a central airway 20b extending through both ends of the functional segment 20 along a first direction. A plurality of second airway holes 20a are provided, each of which is spaced apart around the central airway 20b. In other words, both the central airway 20b and the second airway holes 20a extend along the first direction, allowing the aerosol generated by the dielectric segment 10 to flow through the central airway 20b and the second airway holes 20a for cooling.
[0137] In a plane perpendicular to the first direction of the aerosol-generating article 100, the cross-sectional area of the central air channel 20b is greater than the cross-sectional area of the secondary air channel holes 20a. In other words, the central air channel 20b is located at the center of the functional section 20 and has a larger aperture, while the peripheral secondary air channel holes 20a have smaller apertures. This arrangement facilitates aerosol converging toward the center for inhalation, resulting in better aerosol clumping.
[0138] For example, there are multiple second airway holes 20a, each of which is evenly distributed in the functional section 20. In other words, the second airway holes 20a have a uniform aperture size. This uniform distribution of the second airway holes 20a facilitates smooth and uniform aerosol flow and cooling efficiency, thereby enhancing the user's puffing experience.
[0139] It should be noted that the second airway holes 20a are "uniformly distributed," including when the second airway holes 20a are arranged in a matrix or concentric circles. When arranged in concentric circles, the spacing between the circles is equal, that is, the arrangement of the second airway holes 20a is uniform. It is understood that the second airway holes 20a may not be uniform within the cross-section of the functional segment 20. In other words, the second airway holes 20a are evenly distributed, but they do not evenly divide the entire functional segment 20. For example, if the cross-section of the functional segment 20 is circular, the second airway holes 20a distributed in a matrix are not evenly distributed within the circular cross-section.
[0140] Of course, in other embodiments, the second airway holes 20a are formed in a non-uniform distribution in the functional section 20. For example, the second airway holes 20a have different apertures, and the aperture range varies along a certain direction, such as being distributed in coaxial circular rings, and the spacing between the circular rings can be equal or unequal.
[0141] Illustratively, the media segment 10, the functional segment 20, and the filter segment 30 are cylindrical bodies having a uniform outer diameter and are coaxially arranged. The first direction is the axial direction of the media segment 10, the functional segment 20, and the filter segment 30. By configuring the media segment 10, the functional segment 20, and the filter segment 30 as cylindrical bodies having a uniform outer diameter and arranging them sequentially along the axial direction of the media segment 10, the functional segment 20, and the filter segment 30, the structure of the aerosol-generating article 100 can be made more compact, thereby improving the user experience.
[0142] The following is a brief introduction to nine specific embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0143] First embodiment
[0144] Referring to Figures 1 and 2 , in this embodiment, an aerosol-generating article 100 includes a media segment 10, a functional segment 20, and a filter segment 30 arranged sequentially along a first direction. The media segment 10, the functional segment 20, and the filter segment 30 are separable structures. That is, the aerosol-generating article 100 is a three-section structure composed of the media segment 10, the functional segment 20, and the filter segment 30. The functional segment 20 contacts the media segment 10 and the filter segment 30 at both ends, respectively.
[0145] The medium segment 10 and the functional segment 20 are both extruded integral structures and are manufactured using the same processing technology, thereby improving the production efficiency of the aerosol generating article 100.
[0146] The functional section 20 is an integrated structure formed by extrusion, which improves the high temperature resistance of the functional section 20, thereby improving the structural stability of the functional section 20. It is not easy to deform or melt after being heated. To a certain extent, it can improve the release of stray gases, affect the suction resistance, and block the airway, thereby improving the user experience.
[0147] The filter section 30 is a hollow acetate fiber structure or a solid acetate fiber structure to filter and cool the aerosol.
[0148] Referring to Figures 1 and 2 , at least one first airway hole 10a is defined within the media segment 10, extending through at least one end of the media segment 10 along a first direction. At least one second airway hole 20a is defined within the functional segment 20, extending through at least one end of the functional segment 20 along the first direction. The provision of the first and second airway holes 10a, 20a, serves to adjust suction resistance.
[0149] In a plane perpendicular to the first direction of the aerosol-generating article 100, the sum of the cross-sectional areas of all second airway holes 20a is greater than or equal to the sum of the cross-sectional areas of all first airway holes 10a, so that the draw resistance of the functional segment 20 is less than or equal to that of the dielectric segment 10; the hydraulic diameter of a single second airway hole 20a is greater than or equal to the hydraulic diameter of a single first airway hole 10a; and the number of second airway holes 20a is less than or equal to the number of first airway holes 10a. A smaller number of second airway holes 20a with larger hydraulic diameters is more conducive to aerosol cooling. In a plane perpendicular to the first direction of the aerosol-generating article 100, since the cross-sectional areas of the functional segment 20 and the dielectric segment 10 are identical, and the hydraulic diameters of the second airway holes 20a are greater than those of the first airway holes 10a, the number of second airway holes 20a should be less than the number of first airway holes 10a, thereby more conducive to aerosol cooling.
[0150] The suction resistance of the functional section 20 is less than or equal to the suction resistance of the medium section 10 . Therefore, the main functions of the functional section 20 are support and temperature reduction.
[0151] The second airway holes 20a are formed in a non-uniform distribution within the functional segment 20. Specifically, a central airway 20b is provided within the functional segment 20, extending through both ends of the functional segment 20 along a first direction. Multiple second airway holes 20a are provided, each spaced apart around the periphery of the central airway 20b. In other words, the central airway 20b is positioned at the center of the functional segment 20 and has a larger aperture, while the second airway holes 20a positioned on the periphery of the central airway 20b have smaller apertures. This arrangement facilitates aerosol converging toward the center for inhalation, resulting in better aerosol clumping.
[0152] The media segment 10 has micropores inside, and the micropores are at least partially connected to each other and to the first airway hole 10a. When the media segment 10 is heated, external airflow, such as air, can enter the media segment 10 through the first airway hole 10a and diffuse into the media segment 10. The aerosol generated by the medium of the media segment 10 surrounding the first airway hole 10a (i.e., the portion of the media segment 10 exposed to the first airway hole 10a) directly enters the first airway hole 10a, and the aerosol generated by other parts of the media segment 10 (i.e., the portion of the media segment not exposed to the first airway hole 10a) can be collected into the first airway hole 10a through the micropores. In this way, during the inhalation process, the aerosol collected in the first airway hole 10a flows to the central airway 20b and the second airway hole 20a of the functional segment 2, and finally enters the user's mouth after being filtered by the filter segment 30.
[0153] Second embodiment
[0154] Referring to FIG. 3 , the structure of the aerosol-generating article 100 in this embodiment is substantially the same as that of the first embodiment, with the following main differences: In this embodiment, the functional segment 20 lacks a central airway 20b, and instead, the secondary airway holes 20a are evenly distributed throughout the functional segment 20. In other words, the secondary airway holes 20a have uniform diameters. This uniform distribution of the secondary airway holes 20a facilitates smooth and uniform aerosol flow, improves cooling efficiency, and enhances the user's puffing experience.
[0155] Third embodiment
[0156] 4 and 16 , in this embodiment, the structure of the aerosol generating article 100 is substantially the same as that of the second embodiment, with the main differences including: in this embodiment, the cross-sectional shape of the second airway hole 20 a of the functional section 20 is an elongated strip.
[0157] The second airway holes 20a of this cross-sectional shape and their distribution are conducive to the flow of aerosols, and can reduce the misalignment of the second airway holes 20a of the functional segment 20 and the first airway holes 10a of the medium segment 10 to a certain extent, thereby improving the obstruction of aerosol flow. At the same time, the second airway holes 20a of this cross-sectional shape are easy to adjust the suction resistance. For example, the suction resistance can be increased by reducing the short side length of the second airway holes 20a, and the suction resistance can be reduced by increasing the short side length of the second airway holes 20a.
[0158] Fourth embodiment
[0159] Please refer to Figure 5. In this embodiment, the structure of the aerosol generating article 100 is substantially the same as that of the second embodiment, with the main differences including: in this embodiment, on a plane perpendicular to the first direction of the aerosol generating article 100, the sum of the cross-sectional areas of all the second airway holes 20a is smaller than the sum of the cross-sectional areas of all the first airway holes 10a.
[0160] That is, the porosity of the functional segment 20 is smaller than that of the dielectric segment 10; in other words, the draw resistance of the functional segment 20 is greater than that of the dielectric segment 10. This increases the draw resistance of the aerosol-generating article 100 as the aerosol flows from the dielectric segment 10 to the functional segment 20. This ensures that the aerosol within the dielectric segment 10 is easily extracted, the aerosol is released more evenly and at a higher utilization rate, and the dielectric segment 10 is less likely to burn. Furthermore, the user's sensory preferences for natural and smooth inhalation, clear smoke, and comfort are met during the puffing process.
[0161] The cross-sectional area of the second airway pores 20a is smaller than that of the first airway pores 10a in a plane perpendicular to the first direction of the aerosol generating article 100. In other words, the hydraulic diameter of the second airway pores 20a is smaller than that of the first airway pores 10a.
[0162] It is understood that when the aerosol flows from the first airway holes 10a of the dielectric segment 10 to the second airway holes 20a of the functional segment 20, the airflow path becomes smaller, i.e., the draw resistance of the functional segment 20 is greater than that of the dielectric segment 10, thereby facilitating an increase in the draw resistance of the aerosol-generating article 100.
[0163] It is understood that a large number of second airway holes 20a with small hydraulic diameters is more conducive to increasing the draw resistance of the functional segment 20 and the aerosol-generating article 100.
[0164] The suction resistance of the functional segment 20 is less than or equal to the suction resistance of the dielectric segment 10 . Therefore, the main function of the functional segment 20 is to support and adjust the suction resistance.
[0165] Fifth embodiment
[0166] Please refer to Figures 6 and 11. In this embodiment, the aerosol generating article 100 includes a medium segment 10, a functional segment 20 and a filter segment 30 arranged in sequence along a first direction. The medium segment 10, the functional segment 20 and the filter segment 30 are separable structures, that is, the aerosol generating article 100 is a three-section combination structure composed of the medium segment 10, the functional segment 20 and the functional segment 20 combined in sequence.
[0167] The medium segment 10 and the functional segment 20 are both extruded integral structures and are manufactured using the same processing technology, thereby improving the production efficiency of the aerosol generating article 100.
[0168] The functional section 20 is an integrated structure formed by extrusion, which improves the high temperature resistance of the functional section 20, thereby improving the structural stability of the functional section 20. It is not easy to deform or melt after being heated. To a certain extent, it can improve the release of stray gases, affect the suction resistance, and block the airway, thereby improving the user experience.
[0169] Referring to Figures 6 and 11 , at least one first airway hole 10a is defined within the media segment 10, extending through at least one end of the media segment 10 along a first direction. At least one second airway hole 20a is defined within the functional segment 20, extending through at least one end of the functional segment 20 along the first direction. The provision of the first and second airway holes 10a, 20a, serves to adjust suction resistance.
[0170] In this embodiment, referring to FIG. 6 and FIG. 11 , the dielectric segment 10 and the functional segment 20 are spaced apart to define a cavity 100 a .
[0171] That is, the dielectric segment 10 and the functional segment 20 are spaced apart to define a cavity 100a. Specifically, the dielectric segment 10 and the functional segment 20 are spaced apart and, together with the wrapping layer 40 surrounding the dielectric segment 10 and the functional segment 20, form the cavity 100a. It will be appreciated that by forming the cavity 100a between the dielectric segment 10 and the functional segment 20, the aerosol generated by heating the dielectric segment 10 can flow into the cavity 100a. The provision of the cavity 100a can buffer the aerosol generated by the dielectric segment 10, facilitate aerosol extraction, and improve the utilization rate of the dielectric segment 10. Furthermore, the provision of the cavity 100a increases the contact area between the airflow flowing out of the dielectric segment 10 and the aerosol-generating article 100, thereby achieving a better cooling effect.
[0172] Sixth embodiment
[0173] 7 and 12 , in this embodiment, the structure of the aerosol generating article 100 is substantially the same as that of the fifth embodiment, with the main differences including: in this embodiment, the cavity 100 a is disposed between the functional section 20 and the filtering section 30 .
[0174] That is, the functional segment 20 and the filter segment 30 are spaced apart and, together with the wrapping layer 40 surrounding the functional segment 20 and the surrounding side of the functional segment 20, form a cavity 100a. It is understood that by forming the cavity 100a between the functional segment 20 and the filter segment 30, the aerosol generated by the heated media segment 10 can flow to the functional segment 20 and then flow to the cavity 100a for buffering. This increases the aerosol flow path during aerosol transport, thereby achieving a rapid cooling effect. Furthermore, the provision of the cavity 100a also buffers the aerosol generated by the media segment 10.
[0175] Seventh embodiment
[0176] Please refer to Figures 8 and 13. In this embodiment, the structure of the aerosol generating article 100 is substantially the same as that of the fifth embodiment, with the main differences including: in this embodiment, a cavity 100a is provided between the medium segment 10 and the functional segment 20, and between the functional segment 20 and the filter segment 30.
[0177] The cavity 100a provided in this embodiment provides aerosol buffering and cooling functions, facilitating rapid aerosol extraction. Furthermore, prioritizing the aerosol buffering function, cavities 100a are provided between the dielectric segment 10 and the functional segment 20, and between the functional segments 20. This alternating arrangement of cavities 100a further enhances the aerosol extraction rate and buffering function.
[0178] Eighth embodiment
[0179] 10 and 15 , in this embodiment, the structure of the aerosol generating article 100 is substantially the same as that of the fifth embodiment, with the main differences being that in this embodiment, the cavity 100 a is disposed at an end of the dielectric segment 10 away from the functional segment 20 .
[0180] In this embodiment, a cavity 100a is provided at one end of the medium segment 10 away from the functional segment 20 to increase the contact area between the medium segment 10 and the air, which is beneficial to the natural diffusion of the aerosol formed by the heating of the medium segment 10 and the extraction of the aerosol.
[0181] Ninth embodiment
[0182] 9 and 14 , in this embodiment, the structure of the aerosol generating article 100 is substantially the same as that of the fifth embodiment, with the main differences being that in this embodiment, the cavity 100 a is disposed at an end of the filter segment 30 away from the functional segment 20 .
[0183] In this embodiment, a cavity 100a is provided at the end of the functional section 20 away from the functional section 20, thereby increasing the area of the cavity 100a near the lip end of the filter section 30 and reducing the heat conduction efficiency. As a result, after the aerosol flows out from the inlet lip end of the filter section 30, it can quickly come into contact with the air. That is, the air has a relatively low thermal conductivity efficiency, and the aerosol can quickly exchange heat and cool down when encountering the cold air outside, thereby improving the "hot" problem of the smoke and facilitating the aerosol extraction and cooling functions.
