Description

ROLLER SYSTEM APPLIED IN THE LOADING SYSTEM AND IN THE OUTLET GATE OF THE ANIMAL FEED MIXER FIELD OF INVENTION

[0001] The present invention describes a roller system applied to the loading system and the outlet gate of an animal feed mixer. More specifically, it comprises a set of hydraulically driven rollers attached to the silage machine's outlet gate, whose function is to break up the grains that remain whole, allowing the animals to make better use of the feed.

[0002] This new construction eliminates the unloading conveyor belt by adding a device that promotes product crushing and removal quickly and more efficiently. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0003] Currently, feed mixers cut and shred bales for animal feed to meet the needs and requirements for optimal nutrition. After cutting and shredding, the resulting mixture is directed to the equipment's outlet through a side gate equipped with a conveyor belt that positions the feed near the stalls, allowing each animal to feed on the resulting mixture.

[0004] However, depending on the type of feed used, the grains are not properly crushed by the equipment, so these grains are directed together with the mixture for consumption, resulting in less use of the food and considerable losses in the animal's fattening.

[0005] Thus, the present inventor, seeking to solve market inconveniences, developed a system of motor-driven rollers positioned next to the mixer outlet gate, which have the function of breaking the grains that are still whole, adding greater efficiency and better use.

[0006] In research carried out on the state of the art, we identified several documents that claim output devices for the mixture of mixing equipment, of which we can highlight the following documents:

[0007] Document BR202015020754 (Parise, Luis C. 2015) describes a layout applied to a silage and feed mixing and distribution wagon. It refers to a wagon equipped with an unloading mechanism, consisting of a structural box and unloading conveyor belt, capable of rotating to both sides, associated with a tilting system to both sides, which allows the adjustment of the unloading height.

[0008] Document CA2865142 (Rousseau, Victor. 2014) describes a drive mechanism for a vertical feed mixer. The gear train in the gearbox is driven by a drive coupling that extends below the bottom wall of the container to receive a rotary drive from a motor drive train arranged in a restrictive space under the bottom wall providing a reduction in mixer height or an increase in container size.

[0009] EP2039242 (Jay Lor. 2007) describes a vertical mixer assembly for mixing a bulk material. The vertical mixer assembly comprises a floor with an upper surface; at least one wall extending from the floor and having an inner surface and an upper edge; the floor and the at least one wall defining an open-topped mixing chamber having a general tube shape suitable for receiving the bulk material; at least one vertical auger positioned in the mixing chamber for mixing the bulk material, the auger having a fillet suitable for mixing the bulk material during operation of the auger; an opening in the mixing chamber for allowing the bulk material to exit, the opening having a wall portion and a floor portion; and a door assembly.

[0010] These documents described in the state of the art present construction forms applied to feed mixers that describe outlet gates equipped with tracks, so these documents do not describe a roller system that allows a second form of breaking of uncrushed grains before animal feeding.

[0011] Therefore, the present inventor, taking note of the state of the art documents, developed a system of rollers applied to the exit gate that replaces the current conveyor belt system, with the aim of crushing the remaining grains that are still in the mixture.

[0012] Thus, the present invention encompasses a roller system applied to the loading system and the outlet gate of an animal feed mixer. This system comprises a set of hydraulically driven rollers attached to the silage machine's outlet gate, designed to break up the grains that remain whole, allowing animals to make better use of the feed. This new design eliminates the need for a conveyor belt and incorporates a device that crushes the product and removes it quickly and efficiently. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0013] These characteristics promote better use of food for animal consumption, when compared with state-of-the-art documents.

[0030] The roller system applied in the loading system and in the outlet gate of the animal feed mixer, object of the present invention, comprises a structure (10) equipped with an inclined plate (11) and a pair of rollers (20) and (20A) driven by a motor (30), said structure (10) fixed next to the outlet gate (100) of the feed mixer.

[0031] The structure (10) is fixed to the outlet gate (100) of the mixing equipment using a screw and nut (101), called structure (10) that has an inclined shape that keeps the plate (1 1) inclined for the product to come out of the mixer.

[0032] The plate (1 1 ) directs the product onto the pair of rollers (20) positioned one above the other, which allow the mixture to be crushed and crushed again before being directed to animal consumption.

[0033] The rollers (20) and (20A) are equipped with grooves (21) and grooves (22) arranged longitudinally in the central portion that allow the grinding and crushing of the mixture. Each roller (20) is fixed to the structure (10) through an axle (23) and bearing (24) so that at one of the ends the rollers have the arrangement of a hydraulic motor (30) that allows the actuation of the assembly.

[0034] The roller (20) arranged in the lower portion of the structure (10) is fixed to the assembly through a shaft (23) and bearing (24), and is equipped at one of its ends with a motor (30) that promotes the rotation of the roller (20). Next to the roller (20) is a plate (25) screwed to grooves (12) of the structure (10) in order to allow the adjustment of the inclination of the plate (25) according to the need for product output, with the plate (25) having the purpose of directing the product coming from the rollers.

[0035] The roller (20A) is positioned next to a low relief arranged in the structure (10), above the roller (20), so that it is fixed through a fixing structure (13) that promotes the locking of the roller (20A) through the groove (131) together with the shaft (23) and bearing (24). The roller (20A) is equipped at one of its ends with a motor (30) that promotes the rotation of the roller.

[0036] The fixing structure (13) is locked to the structure (10) by means of screws (132) and a spring and shock absorber assembly (40) which allows the roller (20A) to move in order to increase or decrease the opening for the product to pass between the rollers.

[0037] This opening movement occurs through the volume of mixture that is leaving the machine, allowing greater contact of the rollers with the mixture without affecting the product's output flow.

[0038] The rollers (20) and (20A) are rotated by the motors (30) to promote movement in an anti-clockwise direction.

[0039] The motor (30) used to drive the rollers (20) can be hydraulic or electric, depending on the equipment configuration.

[0040] The motors (30) are activated using the equipment controller, either manually or remotely by the operator.

[0041] The set of rollers (20)(20A) are also applied to the loading system (200), so that this option aims to guarantee agility and at the same time provide the breaking of the grain particles, thus allowing the discharge to be by gravity with a spout, as well as by conveyor belt in cases where height is required for the discharge, as described in figures 12 and 12A.
