Abstract
Description
Periodic scheduling time slot access control method, electronic device, and computer-readable medium
[0001] CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
[0002] This application claims priority to Chinese patent application No. 202311017569.4 filed with the China Patent Office on August 11, 2023, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field
[0003] The embodiments of the present application relate to, but are not limited to, the field of communication technology. Background Art
[0004] The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) Deterministic Networking (DetNet) Working Group has proposed a large-scale deterministic network periodic scheduling technology. When forwarding nodes use a periodic scheduling template with a time slot length of T, this technology can control end-to-end jitter to within 2T, providing guaranteed service for critical services. This emerging technology for Internet Protocol (IP) packet networks requires an organic integration of the control and forwarding planes to maximize bandwidth resource utilization and service access while ensuring end-to-end jitter performance, thus maximizing customer benefits.
[0005] The DetNet Working Group's draft proposes a periodic scheduling control plane solution based on precise time slot orchestration. This technology determines the remaining time slot bandwidth resources of a port on a hop-by-hop basis, starting from the source node. If the time slot resources at a particular hop do not meet the demand, the time slot mapping between upstream and downstream nodes determines whether flexible allocation is allowed. When a service flow message arrives at the source node, if there are multiple permitted access time slots, the message must correctly select one of them for access. However, due to the uncertainty of the message arrival time, the selection of the permitted access time slot is a problem that needs to be solved.

[0021] FIG1 is a flowchart of a periodically scheduled timeslot access control method provided in an embodiment of the present application.
[0022] In a first aspect, referring to FIG1 , an embodiment of the present application provides a periodically scheduled time slot access control method, which can be executed by a router or a switch, and can include steps 100 and 101 .
[0023] In step 100, a service message is received, and a target outgoing time slot is determined according to the reception time of the service message.
[0024] In some exemplary embodiments, determining the target output time slot based on the reception time of the service message includes: determining the input time slot corresponding to the reception time of the service message; in a second mapping relationship between the pre-set input time slot and the output time slot, searching for the output time slot corresponding to the input time slot corresponding to the reception time of the service message, and using the found output time slot as the target output time slot.
[0025] In some exemplary embodiments, the second mapping relationship can be obtained based on information such as node processing delay. For example, it can be automatically learned based on the processing delay, or it can be obtained by sending a learning message from the ingress to the egress through a configuration command and learning the inbound and outbound time slots of the message.
[0026] In step 101, a message outgoing time slot of a service message is determined according to a first mapping relationship between a target outgoing time slot and a preset service flow identifier and a set of permitted access time slots.

[0070] In order to more intuitively illustrate the implementation process of the periodic scheduling time slot access control method of the embodiment of the present application, several examples are listed below for illustration. The listed examples are not used to limit the protection scope of the embodiment of the present application.
[0071] First example
[0072] This example describes the periodic scheduling timeslot access control method in STACK mode. Assume that a customer's service flow identifier is represented by a five-tuple as {192.168.1.10, 192.168.2.10, 100, 200, 15}, the configured allowed access timeslot set is {2, 5}, the timeslot table corresponding to allowed access timeslot {2} is {2, 5, 0, 1}, and the timeslot table corresponding to allowed access timeslot {5} is {5, 3, 7, 4, 2}.
[0073] The configuration unit sends the first mapping relationship between the service flow identifier and the allowed access time slot set to the control unit of the source node of the path and stores it in Table 5.
[0074] Table 5
[0075] Assume that the ingress module of the source node receives service message P1 and service message P2. The receiving time of service message P1 corresponds to the input time slot 6, and the receiving time of service message P2 corresponds to the input time slot 2.
[0076] The ingress module of the source node sends the inbound time slot 6 of the service message P1 to the control unit of the source node by following the service message P1 through a header or other means.
[0077] The control unit of the source node searches for the output time slot corresponding to the input time slot of the service message P1 in the preset second mapping relationship between input time slots and output time slots, that is, the target output time slot is 3.
[0078] The control unit of the source node extracts the service flow identifier {192.168.1.10, 192.168.2.10, 100, 200, 15} from the service message P1, and searches the first mapping relationship for the permitted access time slot set corresponding to the service flow identifier of the service message P1, S={2, 5}.
[0079] The control unit of the source node determines that the target outgoing time slot 3 of the service message P1 is smaller than the maximum time slot 5 in the permitted access time slot set, and then determines the message outgoing time slot of the service message P1 to be 5.
[0080] The control unit of the source node encapsulates the time slot table {5, 3, 7, 4, 2} corresponding to time slot 5 into the service message P1.
[0081] The egress unit of the source node sends the service message P1 encapsulated with the time slot table {5, 3, 7, 4, 2} corresponding to time slot 5 to the next hop node of the path.
[0082] The ingress module of the source node sends the inbound time slot 2 of the service message P2 to the control unit of the source node by following the service message P2 through a header or other means.
[0083] The control unit of the source node searches for the output time slot corresponding to the input time slot of the service message P2 in the preset second mapping relationship between input time slots and output time slots, that is, the target output time slot is 6.
[0084] The control unit of the source node extracts the service flow identifier {192.168.1.10, 192.168.2.10, 100, 200, 15} from the service message P2, and searches the first mapping relationship for the permitted access time slot set corresponding to the service flow identifier of the service message P2, S={2, 5}.
[0085] The control unit of the source node determines that the target outgoing time slot 6 of the service message P2 is greater than the maximum time slot 5 in the permitted access time slot set, and then determines the message outgoing time slot of the service message P2 to be 2.
[0086] The control unit of the source node encapsulates the time slot table {2, 5, 0, 1} corresponding to time slot 2 into the service message P2.
[0087] The egress unit of the source node sends the service message P2 encapsulated with the time slot table {2, 5, 0, 1} corresponding to time slot 2 to the next hop node of the path.
[0088] Second example
[0089] This example describes the periodic scheduling timeslot access control method in SWAP mode. Assume that a customer service flow identifier is represented by a five-tuple {192.168.1.10, 192.168.2.10, 100, 200, 15}, the configured permitted access timeslot set is {2, 5}, the timeslot table corresponding to permitted access timeslot {2} is {2}, and the timeslot table corresponding to permitted access timeslot {5} is {5}.
[0090] The configuration unit sends the third mapping relationship between the service flow identifier and the service flow label to the control unit of the source node of the path and stores it in Table 6.
[0091] Table 6
[0092] The configuration unit sends the fourth mapping relationship between the service flow label and the allowed access time slot set to the control unit of the source node of the path and stores it in Table 7.
[0093] Table 7
[0094] Assume that the ingress module of the source node receives service message P1 and service message P2. The receiving time of service message P1 corresponds to the input time slot 6, and the receiving time of service message P2 corresponds to the input time slot 2.
[0095] The ingress module of the source node sends the inbound time slot 6 of the service message P1 to the control unit of the source node by following the service message P1 through a header or other means.
[0096] The control unit of the source node extracts the service flow identifier of the service message P1, and in the third mapping relationship between the pre-set service flow identifier and the service flow label, searches for the service flow label corresponding to the service flow identifier {192.168.1.10, 192.168.2.10, 100, 200, 15} of the service message P1, obtains the service flow label 10000, and sends the service flow label 10000 and the input time slot 6 to the egress unit through the internal header.
[0097] The egress unit searches for the allowed access time slot set corresponding to the service flow label 10000 in the fourth mapping relationship between the pre-set service flow label and the allowed access time slot set, and obtains the allowed access time slot set S = {2, 5}; in the second mapping relationship between the pre-set input time slot and output time slot, it searches for the output time slot corresponding to the input time slot of the service message P1, that is, the target output time slot is 3.
[0098] The egress unit of the source node determines that the target outgoing time slot 3 of the service message P1 is smaller than the maximum time slot 5 in the permitted access time slot set, and thus determines the message outgoing time slot of the service message P1 to be 5.
[0099] The egress unit of the source node encapsulates the time slot table {5} corresponding to time slot 5 into the service message P1.
[0100] The egress unit of the source node sends the service message P1 encapsulated with the time slot table {5} corresponding to time slot 5 to the next hop node of the path.
[0101] The ingress module of the source node sends the inbound time slot 2 of the service message P2 to the control unit of the source node by following the service message P2 through a header or other means.
[0102] The control unit of the source node extracts the service flow identifier of the service message P2, and in the third mapping relationship between the pre-set service flow identifier and the service flow label, searches for the service flow label corresponding to the service flow identifier {192.168.1.10, 192.168.2.10, 100, 200, 15} of the service message P2, obtains the service flow label 10000, and sends the service flow label 10000 and the input time slot 2 to the egress unit through the internal header.
[0103] The egress unit searches for the allowed access time slot set corresponding to the service flow label 10000 in the fourth mapping relationship between the pre-set service flow label and the allowed access time slot set, and obtains the allowed access time slot set S = {2, 5}; in the second mapping relationship between the pre-set input time slot and output time slot, it searches for the output time slot corresponding to the input time slot of the service message P2, that is, the target output time slot is 6.
[0104] The egress unit of the source node determines that the target outgoing time slot 6 of the service message P2 is greater than the maximum time slot 5 in the permitted access time slot set, and thus determines the message outgoing time slot of the service message P2 to be 2.
[0105] The egress unit of the source node encapsulates the time slot table {2} corresponding to time slot 2 into the service message P2.
[0106] The egress unit of the source node sends the service message P2 encapsulated with the time slot table {2} corresponding to time slot 2 to the next hop node of the path.
