Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] Skin treatment device

[0003] FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0004] The present invention relates to the field of skin treatment. More specifically, the present invention relates to a device for skin treatment, in particular by iontophoresis and / or electroporation and / or electrostimulation, preferably non-therapeutic.

[0005] STATE OF THE ART

[0006] Iontophoresis, electroporation, or electrostimulation are all methods for treating the skin using electrical currents. Skin treatment devices such as facial masks are known, designed to deliver an electrical current to a user's face.

[0007] However, these devices are not very environmentally friendly as they are single-use and can be difficult or impossible to recycle.

[0008] STATEMENT OF THE INVENTION

[0009] One aim of the invention is to improve the durability and recyclability of devices for treating the skin by iontophoresis or electrostimulation.

[0010] According to a first aspect, there is provided a set for treating the skin of a user by iontophoresis and / or electrostimulation intended to be applied to the skin of the user, the treatment set comprising a treatment device comprising at least one main electrode, at least one counter-electrode and at least one current generator adapted to be electrically connected to the main electrode on the one hand and to the counter-electrode on the other hand, the treatment set further comprising a case adapted to receive the treatment device therein, the case comprising at least one permeable zone adapted to allow an electrically conductive activation product to pass only at the level of at least one predefined zone of the treatment device when the treatment device is positioned in the case. The treatment assembly is thus more easily recyclable since the case and the treatment device can be separated. In addition, the treatment device, and in particular the main electrode and the counter electrode, is protected by the case, which prevents its deterioration and increases its lifespan and therefore that of the treatment assembly.

[0011] According to advantageous and non-limiting characteristics, taken alone or in any combination: - The current generator is a rechargeable battery and is adapted to be electrically connected in a removable manner to the main electrode on the one hand and to the counter-electrode on the other hand. Thus, the treatment assembly can be used multiple times, it is sufficient to recharge the battery.

[0012] - The current generator comprises at least one galvanic couple, the galvanic couple being formed of a first conductive pole which is a positive pole and a second conductive pole which is a negative pole separated from each other by a free space and in which the permeable zone is intended to be located opposite at least a part of the free space of the galvanic couple when the treatment device is positioned in the case. The treatment assembly is easily usable because the current generator does not require charging. The treatment assembly is also easily transportable.

[0013] - The permeable area is intended to be opposite the main electrode and / or the counter-electrode when the treatment device is positioned in the case. Consequently, when the treatment assembly is applied to the skin of a user, the main electrode and / or the counter-electrode are in direct or indirect contact with the skin, allowing the circulation of an electric current and promoting the diffusion of an active agent of an activation product into the skin.

[0014] - The case comprises a first permeable zone intended to be opposite the main electrode when the treatment device is positioned in the case, a second permeable zone intended to be opposite the counter-electrode when the treatment device is positioned in the case, and an impermeable zone positioned between the first permeable zone and the second permeable zone. This prevents the occurrence of short circuits between the main electrode and the counter-electrode. The electric current therefore circulates in the skin and the effectiveness of the treatment is optimized.

[0015] - The case has a shape that complements the shape of the treatment device. This keeps the treatment device securely in the case and makes it easier to position. This also reduces the size of the treatment unit.

[0016] - The case has a keyed design that allows for a unique positioning of the treatment device in the case. This makes it easy for the user to correctly position the treatment device in the case.

[0017] - The case comprises two identical and opposite faces, each face comprising at least one permeable zone. Therefore, the case is double-sided and each of its faces is intended to be applied to the skin of a user. The case therefore has a longer lifespan. - The case comprises two opposite faces, one face being completely impermeable. Therefore, when the treatment device is inserted into the case, the face of the treatment device which is arranged opposite the completely impermeable face is protected, for example from activation product. If this face of the treatment device comprises electrodes, the electrodes are protected and their deterioration is prevented, their lifespan being thus increased.

[0018] - The treatment set includes a case closure system. The case can be closed, which allows the treatment device to be kept inside.

[0019] - The case is made of non-woven material. Therefore, when the treatment set is applied to the user's skin, the skin is in contact with a skin-friendly material and the appearance of redness is avoided.

[0020] - The treatment device comprises a support film on which the main electrode and the counter electrode are printed.

[0021] - The treatment device comprises a first face and a second face opposite the first face, two main electrodes and two counter electrodes, one main electrode and one counter electrode being arranged on each of the first and second faces. The treatment device is double-sided which can allow an increased duration of use of the treatment assembly.

[0022] DESCRIPTION OF FIGURES

[0023] Other characteristics and advantages of the present invention will appear on reading the following description of a preferred embodiment. This description will be given with reference to the appended figures, including: Figure 1 illustrates a treatment assembly; Figure 2 illustrates a treatment device for a triangular-shaped treatment assembly; Figure 3 illustrates a treatment device for a drop-shaped treatment assembly; Figure 4 illustrates a treatment device for a circular-shaped treatment assembly; Figure 5 shows a diagram of the operation of the device, in a sectional view, when it is applied to the skin of a user; Figure 6 shows a diagram of the free areas of a treatment device; Figure 7 illustrates a case for a treatment assembly; Figure 8 illustrates a side view of a treatment assembly, the case being transparent so as to view the device in the case; Figure 9 represents the steps of a method of using the treatment assembly.

[0024] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0025] Treatment set

[0026] With reference to Figure 1, there is proposed, according to a first aspect, a treatment assembly 10 for the skin of a user by iontophoresis (also called iontophoresis) and / or electrostimulation. The treatment assembly 10 comprises a skin treatment device 1 and a case 3, the treatment device 1 being adapted to be arranged in the case 3, that is to say at least partially inside the case 3, at least partially within it, and preferably completely inside the latter.

[0027] The treatment assembly 10 is intended to be applied to the user's skin, in particular and preferably to the face. The treatment assembly 10 could be applied to any dermal part of the user's body. However, as will be detailed later, the invention proposes different forms of treatment assembly 10 which are remarkably well suited for particular areas of the face which are often the subject of a desire for treatment by users. The treatment assembly 10 advantageously allows cosmetic treatment of the skin, and preferably non-therapeutic, for example by optimizing and / or improving the effectiveness of a cosmetic formulation. Different methods are conceivable for doing this, typically the generation of microcurrents, for example iontophoresis and / or electroporation.By optimizing and / or improving the effectiveness of a cosmetic formulation, it is understood that at least one active agent contained in the cosmetic formulation is likely to see its diffusion in the skin optimized and / or improved by the treatment assembly 10, in order to increase the effectiveness of the cosmetic treatment of the skin.

[0028] According to one embodiment, the treatment assembly 10 is adapted to be activated, i.e. placed in operating conditions, by an activation product which is electrically conductive. In other words, the generation of electric currents is triggered by the application of a product to at least certain areas of the treatment assembly 10. The treatment assembly 10 is therefore inactive in the absence of the activation product, and only becomes active when the activation product is in contact with at least one predefined area, as will be detailed later. This makes it possible to control the moment of activation of the current generator, and in particular to match this moment to the actual use of the treatment assembly 10 by the user. Thus, during the storage (or transport) phase of the processing assembly 10, the latter is not activated, thus preserving its lifespan, and in particular the lifespan of the current generator, as will be detailed later.

[0029] According to another embodiment, the generation of electric currents is enabled by a rechargeable battery and is not triggered by the application of product to the treatment assembly 10.

[0030] The activation product may comprise an active agent for treating the skin. This active agent allows a cosmetic treatment of the skin, preferably non-therapeutic, the effectiveness of which is increased by the treatment assembly 10, thanks to the current that it generates, as will be detailed later. Preferably, said active agent is ionized at the pH of the activation product, for example between 4 and 10, and substantially equal to 7, in order to obtain an electromigration mechanism.

[0031] The treatment assembly 10 which is the subject of the invention will make it possible to improve the diffusion of the active agent in the skin, thanks to the principle of iontophoresis and / or electrostimulation and / or electroporation. These principles, using electric current to transport an active agent in the skin, are well known to those skilled in the art and will not be detailed in more detail. The activation product may, for example, comprise a cosmetic product, preferably non-therapeutic, such as a cosmetic cream, a serum, comprising an active agent such as vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, or any other active agent beneficial for the skin and compatible with treatment by iontophoresis and / or electrostimulation and / or electroporation. The activation product may also be a therapeutic product such as a cream for treating burns.

[0032] The treatment assembly 10 may also be used to eliminate or reduce various types of pain or other sensory discomfort, including, but not limited to, back pain, joint pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, tingling or numbness of the skin, muscle pain, muscle cramps, joint stiffness, etc. To this end, the treatment assembly 10 may then be used to enhance the delivery of an analgesic through the principles set forth above.

[0033] With reference to Figures 2 to 4 which represent treatment devices 1 of a treatment assembly 10, the treatment assembly 10 may have different shapes depending on the area to which it is designed to be applied. For example, a treatment assembly 10 intended to be applied to the temple may have a general drop shape. A treatment device 1b of such a treatment assembly 10 is shown in Figure 3. Thus, the contours of the device are rounded and a first portion of the device, in top view, is wider than a second portion of the device. A treatment assembly 10 intended to be applied to the cheekbone may have a circular shape. A treatment device 1c of such a treatment assembly 10 is shown in Figure 4. Thus, in top view, the treatment device 1c forms a disc. The assemblies 10 comprising the devices 1 b, 1 c have a shape similar to that of the devices 10 insofar as the case 3 intended to envelop the treatment device 1 advantageously has a shape complementary to that of the treatment device 1. A treatment assembly 10 intended to be applied to the forehead and / or the glabella may have a triangular shape as illustrated in FIG. 1. A treatment device 1 a of such a treatment assembly 10 is shown in FIG. 2. Thus, thanks to the different shapes proposed by the invention, each area of the face traditionally treated by care (cheekbone, forehead, temple, glabella, etc.) has a treatment assembly 10 particularly well adapted to the shape of the area in question, which makes it possible to increase the comfort of use, the ergonomics and the effectiveness of the treatment. However, other shapes could be imagined, without departing from the scope of the invention, which would be adapted to other areas of the face or other dermal areas of the body such as for example the tops of the hands, the neckline, etc.

[0034] Device

[0035] With reference to Figures 2 to 5, the treatment device 1 advantageously comprises a support film 21. The support film 21, and consequently, the treatment device 1, is sufficiently flexible to be able to adapt to the shapes and reliefs of the skin of the area to be treated, and in particular to the cheekbones, temple, forehead, glabella, etc. as explained previously. The support film 21 is preferably insulating, that is to say that it does not allow current to pass. This makes it possible to avoid any risk of short circuit within the device, by preventing the current from circulating in the support film 21, thus forcing it to take another path, in this case that passing through the user's skin, as will be detailed later.

[0036] The support film 21 is for example made of a flexible plastic such as polyurethane (PU) or polyethylene terephthalate (PET). Preferably, the support film 21 has a thickness greater than or equal to 20 μm, preferably greater than or equal to 40 μm, and less than or equal to 90 μm, for example substantially equal to 50 μm or 80 μm. Indeed, such thicknesses allow the support film 21, and therefore the treatment device 1, to conform well to the area of skin on which it is intended to be placed. The treatment device 1 comprises at least one main electrode 22, at least one counter-electrode 23 and at least one current generator 24. Advantageously, at least the main electrode 22 and the counter-electrode 23 are arranged on the support film 21.

[0037] The current generator 24 is adapted to be electrically connected to the main electrode 22 on the one hand and to the counter-electrode 23 on the other hand, so as to create an electrical potential differential (i.e. an electrical voltage) between the latter.

[0038] The electrodes 22, 23 are distinct from the current generator 24. In other words, the main electrode 22 and the counter electrode 23 are distinct elements from the current generator 24.

[0039] The electrodes 22, 23 are intended to be applied opposite the user's skin and are adapted to allow the circulation of an electric current in the user's skin, when the treatment device 1 is placed in contact with the user's skin. Indeed, the user's skin behaves in particular as a resistor. The skin of a mammal, in particular human skin, typically behaves as a resistor having a value between 10 kΩ and 10 Ω, the value being very variable depending on the individuals and the environmental and measurement conditions. For this purpose, the main electrode 22 and / or the counter electrode 23 is formed at least of a main metal, a good electrical conductor.

[0040] The electrodes 22, 23 are intended to be in direct or indirect contact with the skin. By indirect contact, it is meant that an element is arranged between the electrode 22, 23 and the skin such as an activation product, an absorbent layer and / or a fabric, etc.

[0041] Consequently, the electrodes 22, 23, in particular the main electrode 22, advantageously have a size greater than that of a conductive pole 241, 242 of a galvanic couple 240 of the current generator 24 (the galvanic couples 240 will be detailed later). Also preferably, the main electrode 22 has a size greater than that of the current generator 24. This makes it possible to maximize the contact surface (direct or indirect) between the electrodes 22, 23 and the skin, the treatment device 1 thus allowing the circulation of more active agent of the activation product in the skin. This also implies that the size of the main electrode 22 and / or the counter-electrode 23 can be adapted to that of the area of the human or animal body to be treated.

[0042] The treatment device 1 is in a so-called “operating” state when it is applied to the skin of a user and when the current generator 24 is activated so as to generate an electric current. The expression “in operation” will subsequently be used to designate a situation in which the treatment device 1 is in operation, that is to say that it generates a potential differential between the electrodes (i.e. a voltage), then an electric current when the device is applied to the skin.

[0043] In operation, the electric current generated by the current generator 24 flows between the electrodes 22, 23 and into the user's skin. As illustrated in FIG. 5, the electric current flows via the current generator 24 to the main electrode 22, then enters the user's skin to reach the counter electrode 23. The current can also flow in a direction opposite to that illustrated.

[0044] In certain cases, the main electrode 22 is called a “treatment electrode”. In other words, advantageously, the main electrode 22 can specifically allow the improvement of the effectiveness of an activation product when the main electrode 22 covers a portion of the user's skin to which an activation product containing a particular active agent is applied. In operation, the active agent of the activation product is thus specifically absorbed by the skin at the main electrode 22, the shape of which can then advantageously be chosen to correspond as precisely as possible with the area to be treated. Thus, the main electrode 22 of the device can advantageously have the same shape as the general shape of the treatment device 1, as defined and explained previously. This allows the main electrode 22 to be placed as close and as precisely as possible to the specific area to be treated (cheekbone, temple, forehead, etc.).

[0045] The main electrode 22 may be a positive electrode or a negative electrode and, correspondingly and inversely, the counter electrode 23 may be a negative electrode or a positive electrode.

[0046] Preferably, the nature of the main electrode 22 (positive electrode or negative electrode), and therefore of the counter-electrode 23, is adapted according to the type of activation product that it is desired to use in combination with the treatment device 1. In particular, the main electrode 22 will be adapted to be a negative electrode for certain types of activation products such as a vitamin C-based cream while the main electrode 22 will be adapted to be a positive electrode for certain other types of activation products.

[0047] More specifically, the activation product may comprise molecules that are positively or negatively charged at a given pH. If the main electrode 22 has the same polarity as the polarity of the molecules, the molecules are repelled by the main electrode 22 and thus pushed towards the user's skin. For example, vitamin C molecules are negatively charged for a pH between 5 and 7. A treatment device 1 aimed at improving the absorption by the skin of vitamin C molecules present in an activation product will therefore preferably have a main electrode 22 forming a negative electrode.

[0048] As can be seen in the various figures, the main electrode 22 may comprise carbon, advantageously in the form of a plurality of carbon dots, for example arranged under the main metal constituting the main electrode. This makes it possible to give the user a visual indication of the main electrode 22 (or active electrode as explained previously) to help him correctly position the latter on the area of the skin that he wishes to treat, without however degrading the electrical conductivity of the main electrode 22.

[0049] The counter electrode 23 has a polarity opposite to that of the main electrode 22. The counter electrode 23 is therefore a positive electrode if the main electrode 22 is a negative electrode and the counter electrode 23 is therefore a negative electrode if the main electrode 22 is a positive electrode.

[0050] The main electrode 22 and the counter electrode 23 are made from conductive materials, typically metals. Preferably, the main electrode 22 and the counter electrode 23 comprise the same material. This allows a particularly simple construction of the device while minimizing the number of different materials in contact with the skin, and therefore the risk of undesirable reactions of the latter. Advantageously, the main electrode 22 and the counter electrode 23 are made, i.e. formed, from the same material or set of materials.

[0051] The main electrode 22 and the counter electrode 23 preferably comprise silver and / or silver chloride. More preferably, the main electrode 22 and the counter electrode 23 are made of silver and / or silver chloride. Silver and silver chloride have the advantage of being hypoallergenic and interacting well with the skin. In addition, silver and silver chloride have the advantage of being good conductors of electricity. Silver chloride is less prone to oxidation than silver, so that combined with silver, it helps to limit oxidation and therefore improve the durability of the electrodes 22, 23.

[0052] Preferably, the main electrode 22 and the counter electrode 23 are made of silver and silver chloride. More specifically, the main electrode 22 and the counter electrode 23 are each composed of 55% silver and 45% silver chloride.

[0053] Alternatively, the main electrode 22 and / or the counter electrode 23 are made of carbon. Carbon is conductive and not very oxidizable.

[0054] Alternatively, the main electrode 22 and / or the counter electrode 23 are made of stainless steel. Stainless steel has the advantage of being hypoallergenic and interacting well with the skin and being particularly durable. In addition, since it does not oxidize, it can be washed. Thus, the support film 21 and the electrodes 22, 23 are washable and therefore have a longer service life.

[0055] As explained previously, the main electrode 22 and the counter electrode 23 are distinct from the current generator 24. Consequently, the main electrode 22 and / or the counter electrode 23 may comprise materials different from the materials comprised in the current generator 24. The main electrode 22 and / or the counter electrode 23 may therefore be particularly suitable for contact with the skin in that they may comprise skin-friendly materials.

[0056] Advantageously, the main electrode 22 and the counter-electrode 23 are printed on the support film 21 using conductive inks, and preferably metallic inks. The main electrode 22 and the counter-electrode 23 are preferably printed on the support film 21 using electronic printing techniques such as inkjet, offset, gravure printing, screen printing. The main electrode 22 and the counter-electrode 23 are preferably printed on the support film 21 by screen printing.

[0057] According to an embodiment illustrated in the various figures, the current generator 24 comprises at least one galvanic couple 240. The galvanic couple 240 is formed of a first conductive pole 241 being a positive pole and a second conductive pole 242 being a negative pole separated from each other by a free space 243.

[0058] The free space 243 is preferably insulating, i.e. it does not allow the passage of electric current. This can for example be enabled by the fact that the support film 21 is insulating and that the free space 243 consists of an area of the support film 21 on which no material is printed.

[0059] Alternatively, an insulating material could be disposed on the support film 21 at the free space 243.

[0060] Preferably, the first conductive pole of a galvanic couple and the second conductive pole of a galvanic couple are separated by a distance of between 0.5 mm and 5 mm, preferably between 1 mm and 3 mm, for example equal to 2 mm. In other words, the free space 243 has a length of between 0.5 mm and 5 mm, preferably between 1 mm and 3 mm, for example equal to 2 mm.

[0061] The free space 243 is intended to be filled, at the time of activation (of putting into operation) of the treatment device 1, by an electrically conductive activation product to connect together the first conductive pole 241 and the second conductive pole 242 of the same galvanic couple 240.

[0062] The first conductive pole 241 and the second conductive pole 242 of the galvanic couple 240 are adapted to, when connected by the activation product, allow the circulation of electrons between them. The electrons are generated by the difference between the standard electrical redox potentials of the first conductive pole 241 and the second conductive pole 242.

[0063] A galvanic couple 240 is thus adapted to generate an electric current when the first conductive pole 241 and the second conductive pole 242 are connected so as to allow an oxidation-reduction reaction between said poles. An electrochemical cell is formed.

[0064] More specifically, when the first conductive pole 241 and the second conductive pole 242 of the galvanic couple 240 are connected by the activation product, upon contact with the activation product, atoms constituting the second conductive pole 242 (being a negative pole) oxidize and electrons are released. The electrons then flow via the activation product to the second conductive pole 242. As illustrated in FIG. 5, the activation product PA between the first conductive pole 241 and the second conductive pole 242 allows the flow of electrons and the generation of an electrical circuit.

[0065] Thus, in operation, the treatment device 1 is traversed by an electric current without requiring an external battery or any other source of electrical power external to the treatment device 1. This results in a remarkably limited size of the treatment device 1, and remarkable freedom of use (no need for a power outlet, external battery, etc.).

[0066] The constituent materials of the first conductive pole 241 and the second conductive pole 242 advantageously comprise conductive materials, typically metals.

[0067] The first conductive pole 241 (being a positive pole) advantageously comprises silver and / or silver chloride. Preferably, the first conductive pole 241 is made of silver and / or silver chloride.

[0068] The second conductive pole 242 (being a negative pole) advantageously comprises zinc. Preferably, the second conductive pole 242 is made of zinc. In this case, the zinc is the reducing agent of the oxidation-reduction chemical reaction and the second conductive pole 242 (the zinc ink in this case) will be consumed during the use of the treatment device 1.

[0069] Thus, advantageously, when the first conductive pole 241 and the second conductive pole 242 are connected by an activation product, the zinc atoms are oxidized and therefore release electrons according to the following reaction: Zn — > Zn 2+ + 2nd'.

[0070] The electrons will flow from the first conductive pole 241 to the second conductive pole 242. This is made possible by the fact that the standard electrical redox potentials of zinc and silver are different. In this case, the theoretical standard electrical potential of zinc is -0.76 V and that of silver is +0.80 V. Thus, each galvanic couple 240 formed of zinc and silver theoretically makes it possible to produce a 1.56 V battery.

[0071] Galvanic couples 240 may include other materials. For example, these pairs can be formed from: zinc-copper, zinc-copper / copper halide, zinc-copper / copper oxide, magnesium-copper, magnesium-copper / copper halide, zinc-silver, zinc-silver-silver oxide, zinc-silver-silver halide, zinc-silver-silver chloride, zinc-silver-silver bromide, zinc-silver-silver iodide, zinc-silver-silver fluoride, zinc-gold, magnesium-gold, aluminum-gold, magnesium-silver, magnesium-silver-silver oxide, magnesium-silver-silver halide, magnesium-silver-silver chloride, magnesium-silver-silver bromide, magnesium-silver-silver iodide, magnesium-silver-silver fluoride, magnesium-gold, aluminum-copper, aluminum-silver, aluminum-silver-silver oxide, aluminum-silver / silver halide, aluminum-silver / silver chloride, aluminum-silver / silver bromide, silver / silver aluminum iodide, silver / silver aluminum fluoride,copper-silver / silver halide, copper-silver / silver chloride, copper-silver / silver bromide, copper-silver / silver iodide, copper-silver / silver fluoride, iron-copper, iron-copper / copper oxide, iron-copper, iron-copper / copper oxide, iron-copper / copper halide, iron-silver, iron-silver / silver oxide, iron-silver / silver halide, iron-silver / silver chloride, iron-silver / silver bromide, iron-silver / silver iodide, iron-silver / silver fluoride, iron-gold, iron-carbon conductor, zinc-carbon conductor, copper-carbon conductor, magnesium-carbon and aluminum-carbon.,

[0072] The galvanic couples 240 and the couple comprising the main electrode 22 and the counter-electrode 23 may also comprise alloys.

[0073] As explained previously, the current generator 24 is electrically connected to the main electrode 22 on the one hand and to the counter electrode 23 on the other hand.

[0074] More precisely, the main electrode 22 is electrically connected to a first conductive pole 241 of a galvanic couple 240 or to a second conductive pole 242 of a galvanic couple 240.

[0075] Depending on the nature of the main electrode 22 (negative electrode or positive electrode), the main electrode 22 is electrically connected to one or the other of a first conductive pole 241 of a galvanic couple 240 and a second conductive pole 242 of a galvanic couple 240.

[0076] For example, if the main electrode 22 is a negative electrode, it will be connected to a second conductive pole 242 since the latter is a negative pole. Generally, each of the main electrode 22 and counter electrode 23 is of the same polarity as the first or second conductive pole 241, 242.

[0077] The main electrode 22 and the counter-electrode 23 can be connected to a conductive pole 241, 242 of the same galvanic couple 240 or of different galvanic couples 240. In the case where the current generator 24 comprises a single galvanic couple 240, the main electrode 22 and the counter-electrode 23 are connected to a conductive pole 241, 242 of this same galvanic couple 240.

[0078] One of the electrodes 22, 23 is electrically connected to a first conductive pole 241 by a first connector 244. The other of the electrodes 22, 23 is electrically connected to a second conductive pole by a last connector 245.

[0079] In other words, the first conductive pole 241 connected to an electrode 22, 23 is connected to the electrode 22, 23 via the first connector 244. The second conductive pole 242 connected to an electrode 22, 23 is connected to the electrode 22, 23 via the last connector 245.

[0080] The main electrode 22 and the counter-electrode 23 can be connected to a conductive pole 241, 242 via connectors 244, 245 advantageously comprising carbon, and preferably made of carbon. A connector 244, 245 comprising carbon, referred to hereinafter as a carbon connector 244, 245, allows the circulation of an electric current.

[0081] A carbon connector 244, 245 is advantageously a carbon strip. A carbon connector 244, 245 preferably has a length of less than 5 mm and greater than 1 mm and a width of the order of 2 mm. The length of a carbon connector 244, 245 is preferably less than 5 mm to allow good current conductivity, a carbon connector that is too long having a significant resistance. In the case where a connector is required over a longer distance, in particular greater than 5 mm, it will be preferable to use another better conductive material, preferably the material used for the main electrode 22 or the counter-electrode 23.

[0082] Preferably, a connector 244, 245 is printed on the support film 21 using a conductive ink comprising carbon, preferably by screen printing. A carbon connector 244, 245 comprises carbon but may additionally comprise other materials, preferably conductive materials.

[0083] The main electrode 22 and the counter electrode 23 may be connected to a conductive pole 241, 242 via connectors 244, 245 comprising other electrically conductive materials. For example, a connector 244, 245 may comprise a same material as a material comprised in the main electrode 22 and / or the counter electrode 23. Alternatively, the main electrode 22 and the counter electrode 23 may be connected to a conductive pole 241, 242 by direct contact between an electrode 22, 23 and a conductive pole 241, 242.

[0084] According to a non-illustrated embodiment, the first connector 244 comprises a material identical to a material included in the electrode 22, 23. Preferably, the first conductive pole 241 and the electrode 22, 23 to which the first conductive pole 241 is connected comprise silver and / or silver chloride and the first connector 244 comprises silver and / or silver chloride. Also preferably, the last connector 245 is made of carbon.

[0085] According to an embodiment illustrated in Figures 2 to 4, the counter electrode 23 is connected to the first conductive pole 241, the counter electrode 23 and the first conductive pole 241 are made of silver and / or silver chloride and the first connector 244 which connects the counter electrode 23 and the first conductive pole 241 is made of silver and / or silver chloride. Since the counter electrode 23 and the first conductive pole 241 are made of the same material, they can be continuously connected by a first connector 244 of the same material. The printing of the counter electrode 23, the first conductive pole 241 and first connector 244 on the support film 21 is thus facilitated and does not require a different material for the first connector 244.

[0086] Furthermore, in the embodiment illustrated in figures 2 to 4, the main electrode 22 is connected to the second conductive pole 242, the electrode 22 is made of silver and / or silver chloride, the second conductive pole 242 is made of zinc and the last connector 245 which connects the electrode 22 and the second conductive pole 242 is made of carbon.

[0087] Alternatively, the electrode 22 could be in direct contact with the second conductive pole 242 and there would be no additional connector.

[0088] Advantageously, the current generator 24 comprises a plurality of galvanic couples 240. It is then understood that the main electrode 22 is connected to a conductive pole 241, 242 of a galvanic couple 240a different from the galvanic couple 240d of which a conductive pole 241, 242 is connected to the counter-electrode 23. More precisely, a conductive pole 241, 242 of a first galvanic couple 240a is electrically connected to the main electrode 22 and a conductive pole 241, 242 of a last galvanic couple 240d is electrically connected to the counter-electrode 23.

[0089] The current generator 24 comprises a plurality of galvanic couples 240 connected in series. The galvanic couples 240 are thus adjacent two by two and are electrically connected two by two. This makes it possible to make a series connection of said plurality of galvanic couples 240, and therefore to increase the voltage potential, as will be detailed later. Preferably, two adjacent galvanic couples 240 are separated by a distance equal to the distance which separates the two conductive poles 241, 242 of the same galvanic couple 240.

[0090] More precisely, two adjacent galvanic couples 240b, 240c are connected by connecting the second conductive pole 242b of one galvanic couple 240b and the first conductive pole 241c of the other galvanic couple 240c.

[0091] Advantageously, two adjacent galvanic couples 240 are electrically connected via a couple connector 246 advantageously comprising carbon. Preferably, the couple connector 246 is made of carbon. The couple connectors 246 make it possible to circulate an electric current from one galvanic couple 240 to another adjacent galvanic couple 240. Alternatively, the couple connector 246 may comprise other materials, such as for example electrically conductive metals. However, as illustrated in the various figures, it will be preferred to use carbon couple connectors 246 for their low cost, ease of implementation and safety for the skin.

[0092] Preferably, with reference to Figures 2 to 4, the torque connector 246 extends below at least one conductive pole 241, 242 that it connects. In other words, the at least one conductive pole 241, 242 partially covers the torque connector 246.

[0093] More preferably, the couple connector 246 comprises a portion extending below at least 80% of the surface of a conductive pole 241, 242. Advantageously, the couple connector 246 comprises a portion extending below at least 80% of the surface of a second conductive pole 242. This makes it possible to improve the electrical conductivity between two adjacent galvanic couples 240. Advantageously, each couple connector 246 has, in top view, a p-shape (or symmetrically q-shape), that is to say that it has a solid, substantially square zone and a tail (or thin zone), the solid zone extending below the surface of a second conductive pole 242 while the tail is not covered. Such an arrangement makes it possible to optimize the passage of current between two adjacent galvanic couples 240 without impacting the redox reaction, or even by optimizing it.

[0094] Indeed, in the case, for example, of a couple connector 246 made of carbon and a second conductive pole 242 made of zinc, the conductivity is improved because carbon is more conductive than zinc. It has been measured that the conductivity could be multiplied by two when the couple connector 246 has a solid area under a conductive pole 241, 242.

[0095] According to one embodiment, the solid area of the torque connector 246 corresponds to 100% of the surface area of a second conductive pole 242. In the embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 2 to 4 for example, the surface area of a second conductive pole 242 is greater than the solid area of the torque connector 246, that is to say that the second conductive pole 242 (in this case zinc) covers the torque connector 246 (in this case carbon) and protrudes from said torque connector 246. This makes it possible to ensure that, despite manufacturing tolerances, the second conductive pole 242 (in this case zinc) will completely cover the torque connector 246 (in this case carbon), in particular in order to guarantee a good aesthetic appearance of the treatment device 1.

[0096] The couple connectors 246 are advantageously arranged on the support film 21 so that, when activation product is applied to the free spaces 243 of the current generator 24 and the treatment device 1 is applied to the user's skin, the electric current flows between the different galvanic couples 240 via the couple connectors 246. In other words, the couple connectors 246 are correctly arranged to ensure good circulation of the electric current within the electric generator 24. This also applies to the connectors 244, 245 which are also arranged on the support film 21 and which are therefore correctly arranged to ensure good circulation of the electric current between the electric generator 24 and the electrodes 22, 23.

[0097] Alternatively, according to an embodiment not illustrated, two adjacent galvanic couples 240 are electrically connected by direct contact between the second conductive pole 242 of a galvanic couple 240 and the first conductive pole 241 of an adjacent galvanic couple 240. This makes it possible to achieve the series connection of said plurality of galvanic couples 240, without having to use another material.

[0098] Arranging a plurality of galvanic couples 240 in series makes it possible to generate, when the treatment device 1 is in operation, a voltage (measured between the main electrode 2 and the counter-electrode 23) greater than the voltage generated by a single galvanic couple 240. Indeed, the voltages generated by each galvanic couple 240 of a series of galvanic couples 240 are cumulative. For example, theoretically, a zinc-silver galvanic couple 240 generates a voltage of 1.56 V. Consequently, theoretically, a current generator 24 comprising two galvanic couples 240 will generate a voltage of 3.12 V (1.56 V multiplied by 2) and a current generator 24 comprising three galvanic couples 240 will generate a voltage of 4.68 V (1.56 V multiplied by 3). Empirically, it has been measured that a 24 current generator comprising a 240 zinc-silver galvanic couple generates a voltage of 1.1 V.Thus, empirically, a current generator 24 comprising two galvanic couples 240 generates a voltage of 2.2 V (1.1 V multiplied by 2) and a current generator 24 comprising three galvanic couples 240 generates a voltage of 3.3 V (1.1 V multiplied by 3). The current generator 240 of the treatment device 1 illustrated in FIG. 3 comprises five galvanic couples 240. Empirically, this current generator 24 generates a voltage of 5.5 V (1.1 multiplied by 5).

[0099] Consequently, in operation, the intensity of the electric current generated by the plurality of galvanic couples 240 in series is greater than the electric current generated by a single galvanic couple 240. Indeed, the resistance of the skin (which will consume the current) remaining identical, by increasing the voltage compared to the devices of the prior art, thanks to the series connection of said plurality of galvanic couples 240, the current (principle of Ohm's law) which will circulate in the skin is necessarily increased, when the treatment device 1 of the invention is activated and placed on the skin. From an experimental point of view, it remains difficult to actually measure the current delivered by the treatment device 1 when it is actually placed on the skin. Also, a simple to reproduce measurement protocol can be provided, making it possible to measure the current flowing in the treatment device 1 when it is activated, without it actually being placed on the skin. For example, a 10 kΩ resistance can be applied in the electrical circuit for the measurement, then the treatment device 1 can be activated, which will then allow the appearance of a current. Therefore, a current generator 24 comprising a single galvanic couple 240 will generate a current of 110 pA (1.1 V / 10,000 Q). Similarly, a current generator 24 comprising five galvanic couples 240 will generate a current of 550 pA (5.5 V / 10,000 Q).

[0100] However, due to current losses (e.g. at the contact between the skin and the electrodes 22, 23), the actual measured current is lower than the theoretical current. The current generator 24 of the drop-shaped treatment device 1 shown in Figure 3 generates a current with an intensity of up to 300 pA. The current generator 24 of the circular treatment device 1 shown in Figure 4 generates a current with an intensity of up to 180 pA.

[0101] The performance of the current generator 24 is thus improved. Thus, more current flows through the user's skin, which will increase the treatment by iontophoresis and / or electrostimulation and / or electroporation. The performance and effectiveness of the treatment device 1 are therefore improved. This allows, among other things, better diffusion of an active agent of an activation product into the user's skin.

[0102] Advantageously, the current generator 24 comprises at least three galvanic couples 240. Preferably, the current generator 24 comprises at least four galvanic couples 240 as in the examples illustrated in Figures 2 to 4. According to the embodiment illustrated in Figures 2 and 4, the current generator 24 comprises four galvanic couples 240. According to the embodiment illustrated in Figure 3, the current generator 24 comprises five galvanic couples 240.

[0103] According to a certain embodiment, the current generator 24 comprises at least two current generation assemblies each comprising a plurality of galvanic couples 240 connected in series and the two current generation assemblies are connected in parallel.

[0104] Arranging the current generating sets in parallel makes it possible to combine the intensities of the electric currents generated by each current generating set. Thus, the intensity of the electric current generated by the current generator 24 is increased.

[0105] According to another embodiment not illustrated, the current generator 24 is a rechargeable battery. The rechargeable battery is adapted to be electrically connected in a removable manner to the main electrode 22 on the one hand and to the counter-electrode 23 on the other hand. The connection can be made by any known means. For example, the treatment device 1 may comprise connectors electrically connected to the electrodes 22, 23 and connectors electrically connected to the battery intended to be electrically connected to the connectors electrically connected to the electrodes 22, 23. This embodiment has the advantage of extending the lifetime of the treatment device 1. Indeed, galvanic couples 240 can produce electricity as long as a redox reaction can take place.Once the reducer is completely oxidized or the oxidant is completely reduced, the redox reaction is complete and the current generator 24 no longer produces electricity. On the other hand, if the current generator 24 is a rechargeable battery, it is sufficient to recharge the battery for the treatment device 1 to be able to generate electricity again. Furthermore, the support film 21 and the electrodes 22, 23 can be washed easily, whereas this may prove more complicated in the case where the current generator 24 comprises galvanic couples 240 which could wear out upon contact with water.

[0106] Preferably, the elements printed on the support film 21 (electrodes 22, 23, possibly current generator 24 and connectors 244, 245, 246) have a thickness of between 10 μm and 20 μm. The support film 21 has, as already mentioned, a thickness of between 20 μm and 90 μm, or 40 μm and 90 μm. Consequently, the treatment device 1 preferably has a thickness of between 30 μm and 110 μm, or between 50 μm and 110 μm. The treatment device 1 thus offers a remarkable compromise between electrical conductivity, flexibility, and duration of use (in particular for the zinc ink which is consumed during treatment as explained previously).

[0107] According to an advantageous embodiment shown diagrammatically in Figure 5, the treatment device 1 comprises two faces, including a first face 1a and a second face 1b opposite the first face 1a. The treatment device 1 further comprises two main electrodes 22 and two counter-electrodes 23, a main electrode 22 and a counter-electrode 23 being arranged on each of the first and second faces 1a, 1b. The treatment device 1 thus has a longer service life because it has two faces that can be used alternately. The treatment device 1 may comprise a single current generator 24, for example a rechargeable battery that can be connected to the electrodes 22, 23 of the first face 1a or of the second face 1b.The treatment device 1 may comprise two current generators 24, for example each comprising at least one galvanic couple 240, one current generator 24 being arranged on the first face 1a and the other current generator 24 being arranged on the second face 1b. The treatment device 1 may also comprise a current generator comprising at least one galvanic couple 240 arranged on one of the first face 1a and the second face 1b and a rechargeable battery adapted to be electrically connected to the electrodes 22, 23 of the other of the first face 1a and the second face 1b.

[0108] The treatment device 1 may comprise a single support film 21 comprising a first face 21a and a second face 21b, a current generator 24 being arranged on each face 21a, 21b of the support film 21 as illustrated in FIG. 5. Advantageously, the support film 21 is impermeable so as to prevent any migration of activation product from one face 21a, 21b of the support film 21, and therefore from one face 1a, 1b of the treatment device 1, to the other face 21b, 21a of the support film 21 to the other face 1b, 1a of the treatment device 1. Advantageously, the support film 21 is electrically insulating so as to prevent short circuits.

[0109] Alternatively, the treatment device 1 may comprise two support films 21 including a first support film and a second support film. The first support film comprises a first face and a second opposite face. The second support film comprises a first face and a second opposite face. A main electrode 22 and a counter electrode 23 are arranged on the first face of the first support film. Another main electrode 22 and another counter electrode 23 are arranged on the first face of the second support film. The support films are connected to each other at their second faces. This embodiment further guarantees any migration of activation product from one support film 21 to another and therefore from one face 1a, 1b of the treatment device 1 to another. Advantageously, the support films 21 are connected to each other via an impermeable material, for example an impermeable glue.According to another advantageous embodiment, the support films 21 are laminated to each other, allowing their flexibility to be maintained. According to another advantageous embodiment, the support films 21 are laminated to each other, allowing their flexibility to be maintained.

[0110] Case

[0111] The treatment assembly 10 further comprises a case 3. The case 3 is adapted to receive the treatment device 1 therein. In other words, the treatment device 1 is adapted to be inserted into the case 3, at least partially (i.e. a portion of the treatment device 1 may protrude from the case 3 after the insertion of the former inside the latter) and preferably completely (i.e. no portion of the treatment device 1 protrudes from the case 3 after the insertion of the former inside the latter, as visible in FIG. 1). Thus, the treatment device 1 is not in direct contact with the skin. This makes it possible in particular, as detailed below, to prevent the electrodes 22, 23 and / or the constituent materials of the current generator from being in direct contact with the skin, which could cause irritation, pain or even burns of the skin.

[0112] The case 3 comprises at least one permeable zone 31 adapted to allow an electrically conductive activation product to pass only at the level of at least one predefined zone 11, called free zones 11 hereinafter, of the treatment device 1 when the treatment device 1 is positioned in the case 3.

[0113] The case 3 has the role of allowing the presence of activation product only on activation zones 12 of the device, and of protecting the other zones from the activation product. The activation zones 12 of the treatment device 1 are zones of the treatment device 1 which must be covered with activation product for the treatment device 1 to function correctly.

[0114] Advantageously, as illustrated in Figures 2 to 4 and 6, the activation zones 12 of the treatment device 1 comprise a first activation zone 12a and a second activation zone 12b corresponding respectively to the main electrode 22 and to the counter electrode 23. As explained, when the treatment assembly 10 is applied to the user's skin, the electric current circulates in the skin via the electrodes 22, 23. It is therefore preferable for activation product to be present between each electrode 22, 23 and the user's skin to facilitate the circulation of the electric current between the treatment device 1 and the skin. This also makes it possible to limit the risk of reddening of the skin in contact with the electrodes 22, 23 and to increase the comfort of use.Furthermore, in the case where the activation product comprises an active agent for treating the skin, it is necessary to apply the activation product between the skin and at least one of the electrodes 22, 23, preferably between the main electrode 22 and the skin, to ensure good absorption of the activation product (more precisely of an active ingredient contained in the activation product) at the level of at least one of the electrodes 22, 23 (preferably of the main electrode 22).

[0115] In the case where the current generator 24 comprises at least one galvanic couple 240, it is necessary to activate the current generator 24 and therefore its galvanic couples 240. For this, it is necessary to connect the conductive poles 241, 242 of each galvanic couple 240 together so that an oxidation-reduction reaction takes place, as explained previously. This can be implemented thanks to the presence of the activation product at the free spaces 243 between the conductive poles 241, 242 of each galvanic couple 240. Thus, it is desired that activation product be disposed at the free spaces 243 and that activation product remain during a certain operating time of the treatment device 1 at the free spaces 243. The treatment device 1 therefore comprises one or more third activation zones 12c corresponding to at least a portion of a free space 243.

[0116] Preferably, each third activation zone 12c extends from the first conductive pole 241 to the second conductive pole 242 of a galvanic couple 240. More preferably, each third activation zone comprises a portion of a first conductive pole 241, a portion of the free space 243 and a portion of a second conductive pole 242 of a galvanic couple 240. In such a way, when the activation product is applied at the third activation zone 12c, the first conductive pole 241 and the second conductive pole 242 of each galvanic couple 240 are correctly connected to allow an oxidation-reduction reaction. More precisely, at the time of activation (of putting the device into operation), the activation product will make it possible to bring the first and second conductive poles 241, 242 into electrical contact by filling the free space 243, initially insulating.

[0117] According to a certain embodiment, for a galvanic couple 240, a third activation zone 12c comprises the entire galvanic couple 240, namely its first conductive pole 241, its second conductive pole 242 and its free space 243.

[0118] The treatment device 1 therefore comprises activation zones 12 which may be one or more first activation zones 12a, one or more second activation zones 12b and / or one or more third activation zones 12b. The activation zones 12 are illustrated in Figures 2 to 4 and 6. In order for the activation product to be able to cover the activation zones 12, the case 3 comprises one or more permeable zones 31 adapted to be arranged at the level of the free zone(s) 11 when the treatment device 1 is positioned in the case 3. To summarize, the case 3 comprises one or more permeable zones 31 adapted to allow activation product to pass at the level of one or more free zones 11 so that product covers the activation zone(s) 12.

[0119] Preferably, as illustrated in figures 1, 7 and 8, the case 3 comprises a plurality of permeable zones 31 and to each permeable zone 31 of the case 3 corresponds a free zone 11 of the treatment device 1. In other words, the free zone 11 of a permeable zone 31 is the zone of the treatment device 1 at which the permeable zone 31 is located. By "at the level" is meant "opposite", "above" and / or "on". The free zone 11 has a surface area and a shape identical to the permeable zone 31. The permeable zone 31 makes the free zone 11 accessible to an activation product which would be applied to the permeable zone 31. The permeable zones 31 therefore allow the circulation of activation product through the case 3, towards the treatment device 1 during an application of activation product to the case 3. The permeable zones 31 are for example made of a porous material.Figure 8 illustrates a treatment assembly 10 in which a part of the case 3 is shown transparently so as to visualize the permeable zones 31 relative to the treatment device 1 positioned in the case 3.

[0120] Advantageously, the remainder of the case 3 corresponds to impermeable zones 32. In other words, the case 3 is, outside of said permeable zones 31, impermeable, that is to say sealed, and therefore does not allow the activation product to pass through. These impermeable zones 32 are preferably made of a material which would prevent any circulation of activation product towards the treatment device 1 during an application of activation product on the case 3 at the level of these impermeable zones 32. Thus, advantageously, the case 3 consists of an envelope for the treatment device 1 comprising permeable zones 31.

[0121] The case 3 aims in particular to prevent the application of activation product to areas of the treatment device 1 which are not free areas 11 and therefore to prevent the presence of activation product on areas of the treatment device 1 which are not activation areas 12. This therefore allows the designers of the treatment device 1 to determine which areas will or will not be in contact with the activation product, regardless of the user's handling and skills. This results in great simplicity of use of the treatment device 1 and great reliability. Indeed, it is desired to avoid short circuits as much as possible within the treatment assembly 10, to limit the current generator 24 from "emptying" too quickly and to ensure that the current passes fully through the skin (treatment effectiveness).Typically, if an activation product were applied to the entire surface of the treatment assembly 10, and therefore the entire surface of the treatment device 1 were in contact with an activation product, numerous short circuits would occur, the current preferring to pass through the activation product (the “simplest” path) rather than through the skin. It is therefore desirable to precisely target the areas of the treatment device 1 to which the activation product must be applied to avoid as many short circuits as possible and to control and optimize the path of the electric current.

[0122] Preferably, the case 3 is made of a non-woven material. Thus, the case 3 is hypoallergenic and makes it possible to avoid the appearance of redness on the skin when the treatment assembly 10, and in particular the case 3, is in contact with the skin. In this case, the impermeable zones 32 may correspond to non-woven waterproofed for example by means of a waterproofing product or to non-woven having undergone a heat treatment, for example having been melted so as to waterproof it.

[0123] Advantageously, as can be seen in Figures 1, 7 and 8, the permeable zones 31 are zones made of an impregnation film. An impregnation film has the role of being impregnated with an activation product advantageously comprising an active agent intended to be diffused into the skin by iontophoresis and / or electrostimulation. The impregnation film is therefore manufactured from at least one porous material, that is to say a material which absorbs the activation product.

[0124] Preferably, the impregnation films, and therefore the permeable zones 31, are made from a non-woven textile, for example non-woven cotton. A non-woven textile has the advantage of being absorbent and is generally hypoallergenic so that it can be brought into contact with the skin of a user without risk of skin reaction.

[0125] Furthermore, a non-woven textile has the advantage of being very flexible and therefore does not limit the flexibility of the case 3. Preferably, the case 3 is made only of textile materials (woven or non-woven). This guarantees a very good recycling capacity of the case. Preferably, the materials of the case are chosen to be washable, so as to allow the user to reuse the same case 3 several times, after washing it.

[0126] An impregnation film, and consequently a face of the case 3 if it is for example made entirely of non-woven fabric, preferably has a thickness greater than or equal to 100 μm, preferably greater than or equal to 800 μm, and less than or equal to 2 mm. The case 3 can be seen as corresponding to an impregnation film folded back on itself. It is then understood that the thickness of the case 3 corresponds substantially to the thickness of an impregnation film multiplied by two. The thickness of the impregnation film, and consequently of the case 3, will be chosen in particular according to the desired absorption capacity.

[0127] An impregnation film may be made from materials adapted to the viscosity of the activation product. For example, if the activation product is very low in viscosity and therefore very liquid (as would be the case, for example, with physiological serum or saline solution), it would be desirable for the impregnation film, and therefore the permeable zone 31, to be made from a highly absorbent material to prevent, when an activation product is applied to the treatment device 1, the activation product from spreading (by capillarity) in an undesired manner in the treatment device 1 or from flowing out of the treatment device 1 (for example, onto the ground). Conversely, if the activation product is very viscous (as would be the case, for example, with a cosmetic cream or gel), it would be desirable for the impregnation film to be made from a low-absorbent material to allow the impregnation film to become sufficiently impregnated.

[0128] An impregnation film at the current generator 24 plays in particular the role of a reservoir of activation product and thus allows the activation of the galvanic couples 240 of the current generator 24 for a certain period of time.

[0129] Thus, the permeable zones 31 are made of an impregnation film and are adapted to be arranged opposite a third activation zone 12c, that is to say at least opposite a free space 243, when the treatment device 1 is positioned in the case 3. By "opposite", it is understood that permeable zones 31 are adapted to be arranged on and / or above the free spaces 243. Thus, current is generated for a certain period of time, preferably for the duration necessary for the treatment of the area of the face to be treated.

[0130] The permeable zones 31 made of an impregnation film and adapted to be arranged at the level of the first and second activation zones 12a, 12b, i.e. the electrodes 22, 23, also make it possible to play the role of reservoir of activation product, more precisely of active agent, for a certain period of time.

[0131] According to another embodiment, the permeable zones 31 are openwork zones, preferably formed by holes (or openings or cutouts) made in the case 3. In other words, the permeable zones 31 are empty zones. The case 3 is therefore openwork, i.e. perforated, at the level of a permeable zone 31. In other words, the permeable zones 31 reveal the free zones 11 of the treatment device 1 when the treatment device 1 is positioned in the case 3. The permeable zones 31 are thus, for each of their shapes, complementary to the shape of each of the free zones 11. Each free zone 11 comprises at least one activation zone 12. A free zone 11 typically has a surface area smaller than or identical to that of a corresponding activation zone 12. The free zones 11 are zones of the treatment device 1 which correspond to the activation zones 12 or to parts of activation zones 12.Figure 6 illustrates a treatment device 1 on which the free zones 11 are shown diagrammatically in dotted lines. Depending on the viscosity of the activation product, the free zone 11 may be identical to the corresponding activation zone or the surface area of the free zone 11 will be smaller than the surface area of the corresponding activation zone 12. For example, if the activation product is liquid (such as physiological serum), it is expected that the activation product having reached the free zone 11 will spread (by capillarity) beyond the free zone 11 to cover the corresponding activation zone 12. In other words, the activation product may be applied only to a portion of the activation zone 12 and the activation zone 12 will still ultimately be covered with activation product (after the product has spread). On the other hand, if the activation product is viscous (such as a gel or a cosmetic cream), it is expected that the activation product having reached the free zone 11 will spread little, or will not spread at all or beyond the free zone 11. In this case, the free zone 11 has a size substantially identical to that of the activation zone 12, the free zone 11 is therefore substantially identical to the activation zone 12. In other words, it is necessary for the product to be applied directly to substantially the entire activation zone 12.

[0132] Advantageously, the treatment device 1 comprises a free zone 11 for each activation zone 12. In other words, each activation zone 12 corresponds to a free zone 11.

[0133] Advantageously, the case 3 comprises permeable zones 31 adapted to be arranged, when the treatment device 1 is positioned in the case 3, opposite the first and second activation zones 12a, 12b, i.e. opposite the main electrode 22 and / or the counter-electrode 23. The treatment device 1 therefore comprises corresponding free zones 11.

[0134] Preferably, a first permeable zone 31a is adapted to be arranged, when the treatment device 1 is positioned in the case 3, opposite the first activation zone 12a which is arranged at the level of the main electrode 22. The treatment device 1 therefore comprises at least one first free zone 11a corresponding to the first permeable zone 31a located opposite said first free zone 11a.

[0135] Also preferably, a second permeable zone 31b is adapted to be arranged, when the treatment device 1 is positioned in the case 3, opposite the second activation zone 12b which is arranged at the level of the counter-electrode 23. The treatment device 1 therefore comprises at least one second free zone 11b corresponding to the second permeable zone 31b located opposite said second free zone 11b.

[0136] Thus, an activation product can be applied to these permeable zones 31a, 31b so that the activation product impregnates the first free zone 11a and second free zone 11b and, consequently, impregnates the first activation zone 12a and second activation zone 12b to allow the circulation of electric current via the electrodes 22, 23 when the treatment assembly 10 is applied to the skin of a user.

[0137] Preferably, the first permeable zone 31a has a shape similar to that of the main electrode 22 (the size may however be different, in particular depending on the viscosity of the product). The first free zone 11a therefore has a shape similar to that of the main electrode 22 (the size may however be different, in particular depending on the viscosity of the product). Also preferably, the second permeable zone 31b has a shape similar to that of the counter-electrode 23 (the size may however be different, in particular depending on the viscosity of the product). The second free zone 11b therefore has a shape similar to that of the counter-electrode 23 (the size may however be different, in particular depending on the viscosity of the product).

[0138] Advantageously, the case comprises a first permeable zone 31a intended to be opposite the main electrode 22 when the treatment device 1 is positioned in the case 3, a second permeable zone 31b intended to be opposite the counter-electrode 23 when the treatment device 1 is positioned in the case 3, and an impermeable zone 32 positioned between the first permeable zone 31a and the second permeable zone 31b. This makes it possible to prevent activation product from being impregnated in the case 3 between the electrodes 22, 23, thus preventing any short circuit when the treatment device 1 is in operation, on the user's skin.

[0139] In the case where the current generator 24 comprises at least one galvanic couple 240, preferably, at least one free zone 11, called “third free zone 11c”, comprises at least a portion of the third activation zone 12c. In other words, a permeable zone 31, called “third permeable zone 31c”, is adapted to be located, when the treatment device 1 is positioned in the case 3, opposite at least a portion of the third activation zone 12c. Thus, at least one third permeable zone 31c is adapted to be located, when the treatment device 1 is positioned in the case 3, opposite at least a portion of the free space 243 of a galvanic couple 240. TJ

[0140] Advantageously, when the treatment device 1 is positioned in the case 3, a third permeable zone 31c, and therefore a corresponding third free zone 11c, is adapted to be located opposite each free space 243 of the treatment device 1. In such a way, the case 3 is provided to allow the activation of each galvanic couple 240.

[0141] According to one embodiment, a third permeable zone 31c, and therefore a corresponding third free zone 11c, is only adapted to be arranged, when the treatment device 1 is positioned in the case 3, opposite a part of a free space 243 and the length of the third permeable zone 31c (and therefore also of the third free zone 11c) is less than the length of the free space 243. The surface area of the third permeable zone 31c, and therefore of the third free zone 11c, is thus less than the surface area of the third activation zone 12c. This scenario is for example suitable when an activation product is not very viscous and therefore very liquid, such as for example a physiological serum or a saline solution.Indeed, in this case it is sufficient to initially apply the activation product to a third free zone 11c corresponding to a small part of the third activation zone 12c because the activation product will spread so as to impregnate at least the third activation zone 12c of the treatment device 1.

[0142] According to another embodiment illustrated in FIG. 8, a third permeable zone 31c is adapted to be arranged, when the treatment device 1 is positioned in the case 3, opposite at least 20% of the total surface area of the third activation zone 12c. The corresponding third free zone 11c therefore has a surface area of at least 20% of the total surface area of the third activation zone 12c. In other words, the third permeable zone 31c, and therefore also the third free zone 11c, is adapted to be arranged opposite a part of a galvanic couple 240 which extends from the first conductive pole 241 to the second conductive pole 242.The third permeable zone 31c may also be adapted to be arranged opposite a portion of a galvanic couple 240 so as to be opposite a portion of a first conductive pole 241, a portion of the free space 243 and a portion of a second conductive pole 242 of a galvanic couple 240. This scenario is for example suitable when an activation product is viscous. Indeed, it is in this case necessary to initially apply activation product to the third free zone 11c which has a surface area of at least 20% of the surface area of the third activation zone 12c to impregnate at least the third activation zone 12c of the treatment device 1 because the activation product will spread little.

[0143] It is thus understood that the dimensioning of the permeable zones 31 of the case 3 is correlated, in particular, to the viscosity of the activation product. Indeed, the more viscous, pasty, thick the activation product is, as would be the case for example with a cream or a gel, the less it will spread (diffuse) on the treatment device 1, therefore it is appropriate to maximize the size of the permeable zones 31. Conversely, the more liquid, fluid the activation product is, the more it will spread (diffuse), in particular by capillarity, therefore it is appropriate to minimize the size of the permeable zones 31.

[0144] In the example illustrated in Figures 1, 7 and 8, the third permeable zones 31c are rectangular in shape. Each third permeable zone 31c has a length approximately equal to 7 mm and a width approximately equal to 2 mm. Each third permeable zone 31c is designed so that each corresponding third free zone 11c comprises a portion of a first conductive pole 241, a portion of the free space 243 and a portion of a second conductive pole 242 of a galvanic couple 240, each of these portions having an advantageously similar surface area.

[0145] Thus, the case 3 allows, thanks to a remarkable combination of permeable zones 31 and impermeable zones 32 judiciously sized and positioned, to allow the activation product to pass only towards the free zones 11 and therefore to guide the activation product only towards the activation zones 12 which may comprise a part of the free space 243, a part of a first conductive pole 241, a part of a second conductive pole 242 of a galvanic couple 240, and / or the main electrode 22 and the counter electrode 23. The case 3 also allows the other zones (other than the activation zones 12) to be preserved from the activation product. Thus, whatever the level of skill of the user, and even despite sometimes hazardous handling by the user, the case 3 guarantees the correct activation of the treatment device 1 and therefore a good treatment.

[0146] Advantageously, as illustrated in figures 1, 7 and 8, the case 3 has a shape complementary to the shape of the treatment device 1. Thus, when the treatment device 1 is inserted into the case 3, the permeable zones 31 are positioned opposite the corresponding free zones 11 of the treatment device 1. In addition, the case 3 comprising the treatment device 1 does not make the treatment assembly 10 much more bulky than the treatment device 1 since the case 3 is simply an envelope around the treatment device 1.

[0147] Preferably, the case 3 has a foolproofing shape allowing a specific, preferably unique, positioning of the treatment device 1 in the case 3. Consequently, the user cannot make a mistake in the positioning of the treatment device 1 in the case 3. In other words, the case 3 is adapted to allow a positioning of the treatment device 1 in the case 3 which allows the permeable zones 31 of the case 3 to be opposite the corresponding free zones 11. According to a certain embodiment illustrated in figures 5 and 7, the case 3 comprises two identical and opposite faces 30 and each face 30 comprises at least one permeable zone 31. In other words, each face 30 of the case 3 is adapted to be applied to the user's skin. The treatment assembly 10 thus has a longer service life because if one of the faces 30 wears out, it is possible to use the other face 30.Furthermore, the treatment assembly 10 can be used for a treatment involving two successive treatments from two different treatment products. For example, a first activation product can be applied to one of the faces 30 and apply this face 30 to his skin for a first treatment. Then, the user applies a second activation product different from the first activation product to the other of the faces 30 and applies this other face 30 to his skin for a second treatment. Advantageously, a treatment assembly 10 comprising such a case 3 comprises a double-sided treatment device 1, that is to say comprising two faces 1a, 1b, each comprising a main electrode 22 and a counter-electrode 23.Indeed, in this case, the user does not have to turn the treatment device 1 over between the two treatments, or even take the latter out of the case 3, so that electrodes 22, 23, and possibly free spaces 243 of the current generator 24, are opposite the permeable zones 31 of the face 30 used for the second treatment since each face 1a, 1b of the treatment device 1 is equipped with electrodes 22, 23, and possibly a current generator 24. The treatment assembly 10 is therefore very easy to use.

[0148] According to this embodiment of double-sided treatment device 1, more specifically, the support film 21 comprises two main electrodes 22 and two counter electrodes 23. More specifically, the support film 21 comprises a first main electrode and a first counter electrode arranged on the first face 21a of the support film 21. The support film 21 further comprises a second main electrode and a second counter electrode arranged on the second face 21b of the support film 21. The first main electrode is arranged opposite the second main electrode, the latter being separated by the support film 21; and the first counter electrode is arranged opposite the second counter electrode, the latter being separated by the support film 21.However, it is possible to reverse the positioning of these electrodes so as, for example, to arrange the first main electrode opposite the second counter electrode, the latter being separated by the support film 21.

[0149] Thus, according to this embodiment, the treatment device 1 comprises two treatment faces, one comprising the first main electrode and the first counter-electrode, the other comprising the second main electrode and the second counter-electrode. It remarkably constitutes a double-sided treatment device. The double-sided treatment device 1 comprises at least one current generator 24 adapted to be electrically connected to the first main electrode as well as to the first counter-electrode (i.e. the electrodes of the first face 21a of the support film 21) and / or to the second main electrode as well as to the second counter-electrode (i.e. the electrodes of the second face 21b of the support film 21), so as to create an electrical potential differential (i.e.an electrical voltage) between the first main electrode and the first counter electrode and / or between the second main electrode and the second counter electrode.

[0150] According to one embodiment, the double-sided treatment device 1 comprises at least one current generator 24 adapted to be electrically connected either to the first main electrode and to the first counter-electrode, or to the second main electrode and to the second counter-electrode. In other words, in this case, a single current generator supplies a single pair of main electrodes and counter-electrodes.

[0151] According to a certain embodiment, the current generator 24 of the double-sided treatment device 1 comprises at least one galvanic couple 240.

[0152] According to an advantageous embodiment, the double-sided treatment device 1 comprises two current generators 24, for example a first current generator 24a arranged on the first face 2a of the support layer 2 and a second current generator 24b arranged on the second face 2b of the support layer 2.

[0153] Advantageously, each current generator 24a, 24b comprises at least one galvanic couple 240. In this way, the same treatment device 1 can advantageously have an autonomy up to twice as great as a treatment device 1 comprising a single current generator 24.

[0154] Therefore, two treatments, for example complementary, can be implemented successively by the user using the same treatment assembly 10 by simply turning the treatment assembly 10 over. For example, the user can apply a first activation product to the first main electrode and the first counter-electrode and apply these electrodes to his skin for a first treatment. Then the user can apply a second activation product, for example different from the first activation product, to the second main electrode and the second counter-electrode and apply these electrodes to his skin for a second treatment, for example different from the first treatment. The treatment assembly 10 is thus very simple to use, and it is possible to carry out two successive treatments without having to carry out complex manipulations (no cleaning, no replacement, but simply turning over the treatment assembly 10). According to another embodiment, the case 3 comprises a first face 30a comprising at least one permeable zone 31 and a second face 30b which is completely impermeable. In other words, the second face 30b does not comprise a permeable zone 31. This makes it possible to preserve the electrodes 22, 23 and possibly the galvanic couple(s) 240 when the treatment device 1 is positioned so that the electrodes 22, 23 and possibly the galvanic couple(s) 240 are opposite the second face 30b. Indeed, since the second face 30b is impermeable, there is no fluid, such as an activation product, which could oxidize or wear out the electrodes 22, 23.In the case of a treatment device 1 which is not double-sided, that is to say for which only one of its two faces 1a, 1b comprises electrodes 22, 23 and possibly a current generator 24, when the treatment assembly 10 is not in use, the user can position the treatment device 1 so that the face comprising the electrodes 22, 23 is arranged opposite the impermeable face. Thus, when the treatment assembly 10 is not in use, the electrodes 22, 23 are protected by the impermeable face, for example against the activation product. This therefore allows the user to “select” at will the moment of activation of the treatment device 1 (by placing the electrodes 22, 23 opposite the first face 30a comprising the permeable zones 31) and the moment of “rest” of the treatment device (by placing the electrodes 22, 23 opposite the second impermeable face 30b), simply by turning the treatment device 1 inside the case 3.

[0155] Advantageously, as illustrated in figures 1 and 7, the treatment assembly 10 comprises a closure system 36 for the case 3. Preferably, the closure system 36 is integrated into, carried by, the case 3. The closure system 36 is adapted to hold the treatment device 1 in the case 3. This is particularly useful in particular when the treatment assembly 10 is applied to the user's skin, especially if the treatment assembly 10 is applied so that the opening defined by the case 3 to allow the insertion of the treatment device 1 into the case 3 is oriented downwards (which could cause the treatment device 1 to fall out of the case 3). As illustrated in Figures 1 and 7, the closure system 36 may for example be an adhesive layer arranged on an internal face of the case 3 and adapted to connect two internal faces of the case 3.Alternatively or additionally, the closing device 36 may comprise a press stud, a zipper, a quick-release device, for example those offered under the registered trademark Velcro®.

[0156] It is therefore understood that the treatment assembly 10 is more easily recyclable insofar as it comprises two parts (the treatment device 1 and the case 3) already separated. It is therefore possible to recycle each of the parts according to the materials they contain: for example, the treatment device 1 comprising metals can be processed in the metal recycling sector, while the case 3, comprising only textile materials, can be processed in the corresponding recycling sector. In addition, the treatment assembly 10 is environmentally friendly because, if the treatment device 1 wears out and is no longer able to allow proper operation of the treatment assembly 10 (for example following the exhaustion of its galvanic couples), the user can replace only the treatment device 1 while retaining the initial case 3. Less material is therefore consumed.Furthermore, when the treatment assembly 10 is not in use, the treatment device 1 can be kept, stored in the case 3 so that the treatment device 1 is protected and wears out less quickly. The service life of the treatment assembly 10 is thus longer.

[0157] Furthermore, the case 3 can be washable, and therefore used many times without compromising the hygiene of the treatment. This is particularly advantageous in the case where the treatment device 1 has sufficient energy reserves to generate electricity for several treatment sessions (for example one or several dozen). In this case, the user can wash the case 3, which is in contact with the skin, between each treatment session (after having taken care to remove the treatment device from the case 3), thus guaranteeing excellent hygiene and good respect for the environment (because the user does not throw away the case after each use).

[0158] Contact method

[0159] Advantageously, the treatment assembly 10 comprises contact and holding means to ensure contact between the treatment assembly 10 and the user's skin and to hold the treatment assembly 10 on the skin despite possible external disturbances (wind, clothing, hair, etc.).

[0160] The contact means comprise, for example, an elastic band. For example, in the case of a treatment assembly 10 in the form of a face mask, the treatment assembly 10 may comprise an elastic band that would surround the head to press the treatment device 1 against the face.

[0161] Preferably, the contact means comprise at least one adhesive layer. The adhesive layer is preferably arranged on the face(s) of the case 3. The adhesive layer comprises at least one adhesive film.

[0162] The adhesive layer preferably comprises at least one permeable zone adapted to allow an activation product to pass only at the level of at least one activation zone 12. The permeable zone of the adhesive layer may be perforated, for example by being formed by a hole (or an opening) made in the adhesive film. The adhesive layer preferably has a shape similar to the case 3.

[0163] The adhesive layer has an external adhesive surface intended to come into contact with the user's skin and to ensure the fixing of the treatment assembly 10 on the skin for the entire duration of the treatment.

[0164] Advantageously, the adhesive layer comprises a seal. When the seal is removed from the adhesive layer, the adhesive outer surface of the adhesive layer is exposed and can then be adhered to the user's skin.

[0165] The adhesive layer advantageously also has an internal adhesive surface intended to come into contact with one face of the case 3, and thus ensure its attachment to the latter. Preferably, the adhesive layer is then formed by a double-sided adhesive film, that is to say a film having an external adhesive surface intended to be in contact with the skin and an internal adhesive surface intended to be in contact with one face of the case 3.

[0166] Preferably, the adhesive layer comprises a material that is friendly to the user's skin. Therefore, advantageously, the materials in contact with the user's skin comprise only non-woven fabric (areas of the case 3), the activating product and possibly the adhesive material of the adhesive outer surface of the adhesive layer. As a result, the user's skin is only in contact with skin-friendly materials (i.e., any allergic skin reaction is unlikely to occur) when the treatment assembly 10 is applied to the skin. This therefore improves the comfort of use of the treatment assembly 10 and considerably limits, or even eliminates, any risk of redness appearing on the area treated with the treatment assembly 10.

[0167] The adhesive layer preferably has a thickness of less than 150 μm. The thickness of the adhesive layer is, for example, approximately equal to 140 μm.

[0168] Consequently, the total thickness of the assembly (i.e. of the treatment device 1 and of the case 3 in particular) is less than 5 mm, preferably less than 4 mm, more preferably less than 3 mm, and more preferably less than 2 mm. The treatment device 1 is thus flexible and can therefore conform to the shape of the area of the body on which it will be placed.

[0169] Method of use

[0170] A method of using the treatment assembly 10 will be described with reference to FIG. 9. Firstly, the user provides himself with the treatment assembly 10. He also obtains an electrically conductive activation product.

[0171] In a step a) of positioning the treatment device 1, if this has not already been done, the user positions the treatment device 1 in the case 3. Advantageously, the user can only position the treatment device 1 in the case according to a single positioning. If the treatment device 1 is double-sided (i.e. its two faces 1 a, 1 b comprise at least one main electrode 22 and one counter-electrode 23) and the case 3 is not (i.e. only one of its faces 30 comprises at least one permeable zone 31), the user can choose which face 1 a, 1 b of the treatment device 1 he wishes to use and therefore which face 1 a, 1 b he wishes to position opposite the face 30 of the case 3 comprising at least one permeable zone 31.For example, he can choose a first face 1a, 1b of the treatment device 1 that he has already used to preserve the new second face 1b, 1a until the first face 1a, 1b is too worn to be usable. At the end of step a), at least one face 1a, 1b of the treatment device 1 must be positioned in the case 3 so that electrodes 22, 23, and possibly one or more free spaces 243, are arranged opposite permeable zones 31 of the case 3.

[0172] Advantageously, the case 3 is closed via the closing system 36.

[0173] In a step b) of applying activation product, the user applies activation product to the treatment assembly 10 so as to cover at least the permeable zone(s) 31 of the case 3 and therefore the corresponding free zone(s) 11 of the treatment device 1.

[0174] The activation product then possibly impregnates the permeable zones 31 if these are made of an impregnation film. The activation product thus covers the free zones 11 and, consequently, by spreading, the activation zones 12 of the treatment device 1.

[0175] If the current generator 24 comprises at least one galvanic couple 240, the application of product to the third free zones 11c (each comprising at least a part of a free space 243 of a galvanic couple 240) causes an oxidation-reduction reaction within the galvanic couples 240. This allows the activation of the galvanic couples 240 and therefore of the current generator 24.

[0176] In the case where the current generator 24 is an external battery, the user simply needs to electrically connect the battery to the electrodes 22, 23 in any known manner.

[0177] In a step c) of applying the treatment assembly 10 to the skin, the treatment assembly 10 is applied to the user's skin so that free zones 11, in particular the first and second free zones 11a and 11b, of the treatment device 1, are in direct or indirect contact with the user's skin. It is recalled that the first and second free zones 11a and 11b correspond respectively to at least a portion of the main electrode 22 and to at least a portion of the counter-electrode 23. Thus, step c) consists at least in applying at least the electrodes 22, 23 opposite the skin.

[0178] An electric current is generated and passes through the user's skin as illustrated in Figure 5.

[0179] If the treatment device 1 and the case 3 are double-sided, and therefore the treatment assembly 10 is double-sided, the treatment assembly 10 can be removed from the skin, turned over, another activating product can be applied to the product-free side and the treatment assembly 10 can be applied to the skin to implement another treatment, which can be complementary to the first treatment.

[0180] In a step d) of removing the treatment assembly 10 from the skin, the treatment assembly 10 is removed from the skin.

[0181] Advantageously, in a step e) of removing the treatment device 1 from the case 3, the treatment device 1 is removed from the case 3.

[0182] The case 3 can then be washed for reuse. The treatment device 1 can also be washed if the materials it comprises are water-resistant. For example, if the treatment device 1 only comprises electrodes 22, 23 made of stainless steel and is adapted to be connected to a current generator 24 which is an external battery, it is sufficient to disconnect the battery and the treatment device 1 can be washed without risk of oxidation of the electrodes 22, 23.

[0183] When the treatment device 1 and / or the case 3 are clean, the treatment device 1 can be stored in the case 3. If the treatment device 1 and the case 3 are not double-sided, the treatment device 1 is advantageously positioned in the case 3 so that the face of the treatment device 1 comprising the electrodes 22, 23 is opposite the impermeable face of the case 3 so as to preserve the electrodes 22, 23.

[0184] It is therefore understood that the treatment assembly 10 is easy to use and is reusable.
