Description

Upper lobe assembly, dilator, and vaginal examination device

[0001] This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application filed with the China Patent Office on September 4, 2023, with application number 202322397057.7 and application name “Upper leaf assembly, dilator and vaginal examination device”, the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference into this application. Technical Field

[0002] The present application relates to the technical field of medical devices, and in particular to an upper leaf assembly, a dilator, and a vaginal examination device. Background Art

[0003] Dilators are primarily used for routine gynecological examinations and surgical treatments. Currently, commonly used dilators insert the upper and lower lobes into the vagina, then manipulate them to open with the help of a connecting mechanism, thereby expanding the vaginal cavity. The user then observes and diagnoses the affected area within the vagina using visual inspection or video recording.

[0004] Patent document CN116584885A discloses a lower leaflet assembly and inspection device for a dilator. The patent document mentions that the upper leaflet assembly is slidable and selectively attachable to the lower leaflet assembly. When using the dilator for an inspection, the user can adjust the distance and angle between the upper and lower leaves by sliding and rotating the upper leaflet relative to the lower leaflet assembly, thereby achieving vaginal dilation.

[0005] However, in the existing technology, during the process of vaginal dilation of the upper and lower leaf assemblies, stress will be concentrated on the connection structure between the upper and lower leaf assemblies. Since the strength of the upper and lower leaf assemblies is generally not high, there is a risk of deformation, jamming and breakage of the connection structure between the upper and lower leaf assemblies.

[0006] Summary of the Invention

[0007] The embodiments of the present application provide at least one upper leaf assembly, a dilator, and a vaginal examination device to improve the problem that the connection structure of the upper and lower leaf assemblies of the existing dilator is easily deformed, stuck, and broken.

[0008] In a first aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides an upper leaf assembly for use in an expander, the expander comprising a lower leaf assembly and an upper leaf assembly, the upper leaf assembly comprising a movable portion and an upper leaf disposed on the movable portion, the movable portion being slidably and rotatably disposed on the lower leaf assembly to adjust the height and angle of the upper leaf; the movable portion being provided with a slide groove extending through its thickness, the slide groove being configured to allow a columnar protrusion disposed on the lower leaf assembly to be slidably and rotatably disposed within the slide groove, so that the movable portion can slide and rotate relative to the lower leaf assembly under the action of an external force; the movable portion being provided with an annular protrusion disposed around the slide groove. In this case, the annular protrusion can be utilized to strengthen the structural strength of the periphery of the slide groove, thereby reducing the risk of damage to the lower leaf assembly due to stress concentration at the slide groove during the rotation of the movable portion relative to the grip portion, thereby facilitating an increase in service life.

[0009] In an optional embodiment, the annular protrusion is formed by thickening the edge of the sliding groove.

[0010] In an optional embodiment, the width of the annular protrusion gradually increases from the end away from the movable part to the end connected to the movable part.

[0011] In an optional embodiment, the annular protrusion is located on a side of the movable portion facing away from the lower leaf assembly.

[0012] In an optional embodiment, the outer periphery of the annular protrusion is provided with a chamfered structure.

[0013] In an optional embodiment, the movable part is provided with a booster member, and the booster member is used to transmit external force to the movable part.

[0014] In an optional embodiment, the booster is located at an end of the movable portion away from the upper leaf.

[0015] In an optional embodiment, the distance between the booster and the columnar protrusion is greater than the distance between the upper lobe and the columnar protrusion.

[0016] In an optional embodiment, during the sliding of the movable portion, the upper edge of the booster is located below a key area provided on the lower leaf assembly.

[0017] In an optional embodiment, the booster has a thumb socket.

[0018] In an optional embodiment, an anti-slip structure is provided in the thumb socket.

[0019] In an optional embodiment, the anti-slip structure is one of protective stripes, protective coatings and protective particles.

[0020] In an optional embodiment, the movable portion is provided with a second ratchet that cooperates with a first ratchet provided on the lower leaf assembly.

[0021] In a second aspect, an embodiment of the present application further provides a dilator comprising an upper leaf assembly and the aforementioned lower leaf assembly, wherein the upper leaf assembly is movably connected to the lower leaf assembly and cooperates with the lower leaf assembly to achieve vaginal dilation.

[0022] In a third aspect, an embodiment of the present application further provides a vaginal examination device, comprising a dilator and an image acquisition device disposed on the dilator, wherein the dilator is the dilator described above.

[0037] Dilators are primarily used for routine gynecological examinations and surgical treatments. Currently, commonly used dilators insert the upper and lower lobes into the vagina, then manipulate them to open with the help of a connecting mechanism, thereby expanding the patient's vaginal cavity and allowing the user to observe and treat vaginal lesions.

[0038] The upper leaf assembly is currently slidable and optionally arranged on the lower leaf assembly. When a user uses the dilator for examination, the upper leaf assembly can slide and rotate relative to the lower leaf assembly to adjust the distance and angle between the upper and lower leaves, thereby achieving vaginal dilation.

[0039] However, the strength of the upper and lower leaf assemblies of current dilators is generally not high. During vaginal dilation, stress will be concentrated on the connection structure between the upper and lower leaf assemblies, resulting in the risk of deformation, jamming and breakage of the connection structure between the upper and lower leaf assemblies.

[0040] To this end, an embodiment of the present application provides an upper leaf assembly to improve the problem that the connection structure of the upper and lower leaf assemblies of the existing expander is easily deformed, stuck, and broken.

[0041] In order to better illustrate the contents of the upper leaf assembly involved in the embodiments of the present application, it is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0042] Referring to Figures 1 and 2 , a vaginal examination device 1 provided in an embodiment of the present application includes an image acquisition device 20 and a dilator 10. The image acquisition device 20 may be a colposcope, which can capture images of the affected area. The dilator 10 includes an upper leaf assembly 110 and a lower leaf assembly 120. The upper leaf assembly 110 is movably connected to the lower leaf assembly 120 and cooperates with the lower leaf assembly 120 to achieve vaginal dilation.

[0043] Referring to Figures 2 and 3 , in some examples, the lower leaf assembly 120 includes a grip portion 121 and a lower leaf 122. The lower leaf 122 is disposed on the grip portion 121 and extends from the grip portion 121 in a target direction. The upper leaf assembly 110 includes a movable portion 111 and an upper leaf 112. The movable portion 111 is slidably and rotatably disposed on the grip portion 121. The upper leaf 112 is disposed on the movable portion 111 and extends from the movable portion 111 in a target direction. The target direction may be a direction extending along the internal cavity of the vagina toward the interior of the vagina. During use, the user can grasp the dilator 10 using the grip portion 121, rotate the movable portion 111 relative to the grip portion 121 to adjust the opening and closing angle between the upper leaf 112 and the lower leaf 122, and slide the movable portion 111 relative to the grip portion 121 to adjust the distance between the upper leaf 112 and the lower leaf 122. Correspondingly, the user may first slide the upper leaf 112 through the movable portion 111 and then rotate the upper leaf 112 through the movable portion 111 .

[0044] 1 and 2 , in some examples, the upper leaf 112 and the lower leaf 122 can expand the patient's vagina in the expanded state.

[0045] 3 , in some examples, the movable portion 111 has a visual window 1111. During use, the affected area can be observed through the visual window 1111.

[0046] Referring to Figures 2 and 3 , in some examples, the grip portion 121 is provided with a cylindrical protrusion 123, and the movable portion 111 is provided with a slide groove 113 extending through the thickness thereof. The slide groove 113 is configured to allow the cylindrical protrusion 123 to be slidably and rotatably disposed within the slide groove 113. During use, the movable portion 111 can rotate about the cylindrical protrusion 123 via the slide groove 113, thereby rotating the movable portion 111 relative to the grip portion 121, thereby changing the opening and closing angle between the upper leaf 112 and the lower leaf 122. The movable portion 111 can also move along the length of the slide groove 113 via the cylindrical protrusion 123, thereby sliding the movable portion 111 relative to the grip portion 121, thereby changing the distance between the upper leaf 112 and the lower leaf 122.

[0047] 3 , in some examples, the grip portion 121 has a receiving cavity 1211 for mounting the image acquisition device 20. In this case, the receiving cavity 1211 can isolate and protect the image acquisition device 20, thereby reducing contamination of the image acquisition device 20 by contaminants and alleviating the workload of subsequent disinfection.

[0048] In some examples, the shape of the receiving cavity 1211 matches the shape of the image acquisition device 20. In this case, the image acquisition device 20 can be placed in the receiving cavity 1211 more stably, avoiding the image acquisition device 20 from moving relative to the receiving cavity 1211.

[0049] Referring to Figure 1 , in some examples, the grip portion 121 has an observation window 124 at one end near the lower leaf 122, facing the lower leaf 122 and communicating with the receiving cavity 1211. Observation window 124 may be an optical lens that isolates the image capture device 20 from the outside world. In this case, the image capture device 20 can capture images through observation window 124 and is also isolated from the outside world by observation window 124, thereby reducing the degree of contamination of the image capture device 20 by contaminated liquids.

[0050] In some examples, the cross-sections of the receiving cavity 1211 and the image acquisition device 20 can be designed to be approximately rectangular. This allows the image acquisition device 20 to be more securely positioned within the receiving cavity 1211, reducing the risk of the image acquisition device 20 rotating within the receiving cavity 1211. This allows the lens of the image acquisition device 20 to better align with the observation window 124, thereby enabling clear images to be captured.

[0051] 2 , in some examples, the image acquisition device 20 is provided with a control button 201 , so that a user can operate the control button 201 to acquire an image.

[0052] 2 , in some examples, there may be multiple control keys 201. For example, the control keys 201 include control keys 201a, 201b, 201c, 201d, 201e, 201f, and 201g, each of which is used to implement a different function.

[0053] Referring to FIG. 2 , in some examples, the control button 201 is located on the user-facing side of the image acquisition device 20. That is, during use, the control button 201 can directly face the user. This makes it easier for the user to operate the buttons while firmly gripping the grip 121, compared to placing the control button 201 in other locations.

[0054] 3 , in some examples, the grip portion 121 includes a button area 125 that cooperates with the control button 201 of the image acquisition device 20. In this case, when the image acquisition device 20 is placed in the receiving cavity 1211, the user can operate the control button 201 of the image acquisition device 20 through the button area 125.

[0055] In some examples, the keypad 125 is made of an elastic material. During use, a user can press the keypad 125, causing it to move or deform toward the interior of the receiving cavity 1211, transmitting the pressure to the control button 201 of the image capture device 20, thereby operating the image capture device 20. Furthermore, because the keypad 125 is made of an elastic material, it automatically rebounds after the pressure is released, facilitating the next press.

[0056] 4 , in some examples, the key area 125 includes keys that are respectively associated with multiple control keys 201. For example, the key area 125 includes keys 125a, 125b, 125c, 125d, 125e, 125f, and 125g, each of which is associated with a different control key. In this case, pressing different keys can operate the corresponding control key.

[0057] Referring to Figure 4 , in some examples, the perimeter of a key utilizes a hollowed-out design. For example, the present embodiment illustrates a gap 1251 between each key and adjacent keys or the grip 121. During use, the hollowed-out design around the key reduces the strength of the connection structure between the key and the grip 121 and increases its deformability, thereby reducing the force required to operate the key and improving operational convenience.

[0058] 3 , in some examples, the key area 125 is located on a side of the grip 121 away from the lower leaf 122 , that is, the key area 125 can directly face the user, making it easier for the user to operate the control keys 201 during use.

[0059] Referring to Figure 4, in some examples, indicator marks 126 are provided on the surface of the key area 125. This embodiment of the present application shows that different indicator marks 126 are provided on the surface of each key, including mark 126a, mark 126b, mark 126c, mark 126d, mark 126e, mark 126f, and mark 126g. During use, the provision of indicator marks 126 can facilitate user identification of keys, thereby enabling accurate key operations and avoiding incorrect operations.

[0060] In some examples, the indicator mark 126 can be a text mark, a pattern mark, or a graphic mark. As shown in FIG4 , the embodiment of the present application shows that some of the indicator marks 126 are text marks, and the rest of the indicator marks 126 are pattern marks.

[0061] In some examples, the indicator mark 126 has a preset height or depth. During use, the preset height or depth of the indicator mark 126 allows the user to identify various keys by touching the indicator mark 126 even when visual inspection is inconvenient, facilitating accurate key identification. Furthermore, in this case, there is no need to separately set floating points on the key surface, which simplifies the production process and improves production efficiency.

[0062] In some examples, the indicator mark 126 has a preset height, and the indicator mark 126 can be formed by printing, etching, or polishing.

[0063] Referring to FIG. 3 , in some examples, a button area 125 is located at one end of the grip portion 121 near the lower leaf 122, allowing the user to raise their thumb to access the button area 125 while gripping the grip portion 121. In this case, the user needs to raise their thumb to operate the buttons while gripping the grip portion 121. This ergonomic button design improves the ergonomic issues with the button area 125 of the existing expander 10. Furthermore, in this case, the user's palm and fingers do not cover the button area 125 during operation, preventing the user from accidentally pressing buttons.

[0064] 3 , in some examples, the grip portion 121 has a gripping area 127 for being gripped by a user. The gripping area 127 is located at an end of the grip portion 121 away from the lower leaf 122 and below the key area 125. In this case, the key area 125 and the gripping area 127 are arranged vertically. When the user grips the grip portion 121, specifically the gripping area 127, the user's fingers and palm will not cover or touch the keys.

[0065] 3 , in some examples, the grip portion 121 has an opening 1212 communicating with the receiving cavity 1211. During use, a user can insert or remove the image acquisition device 20 from the receiving cavity 1211 through the opening 1212. This allows for easy installation and removal of the image acquisition device 20, facilitates sterilization of the image acquisition device 20, and facilitates replacement of the disposable dilator 10.

[0066] 3 , in some examples, the grip portion 121 is provided with an opening 1212 at one end (the bottom of the grip portion 121 ) away from the lower leaf 122. In this case, the opening 1212 does not affect the user's ability to grip the grip portion 121, operate the keypad 125, and manipulate the movable portion 111. Furthermore, compared to providing the opening 1212 on the side of the grip portion 121, there is no need to design the grip portion 121 as an assembly structure for mounting the image capture device 20, nor is there a need to provide a cover to close the opening 1212.

[0067] 3 , in some examples, the grip portion 121 is provided with a retaining structure 128, which is used to retain the image capture device 20. During use, the retaining structure 128 can secure the image capture device 20 within the receiving cavity 1211, thereby preventing the image capture device 20 from falling out of the receiving cavity 1211.

[0068] Referring to FIG. 3 and FIG. 5 , in some examples, the retaining structure 128 includes an elastic sheet 1281 and a retaining portion 1282 disposed on the elastic sheet 1281. Specifically, the elastic sheet 1281 is configured to bend and deform inward and outward directions of the receiving cavity 1211, and has a first configuration and a second configuration relative to the image capture device 20. In the first configuration, the retaining portion 1282 prevents the image capture device 20 from exiting the receiving cavity 1211, while in the second configuration, the retaining portion 1282 allows the image capture device 20 to exit the receiving cavity 1211. During use, the elastic sheet 1281 can be transformed into the second configuration to install or remove the image capture device 20, or can be transformed into the first configuration to secure the image capture device 20 installed in the receiving cavity 1211. In this manner, the retaining structure 128 can be deformed to secure the image capture device 20 or allow the image capture device 20 to enter and exit the receiving cavity 1211.

[0069] In some examples, the elastic sheet 1281 is specifically configured to bend into a second configuration when subjected to pressure and return to the first configuration when the pressure is removed. In this case, the elastic sheet 1281 can be bent into the second configuration by applying pressure to facilitate installation or removal of the image capture device 20. After the image capture device 20 is installed or removed, the pressure can be removed to return the elastic sheet 1281 to the first configuration.

[0070] In some examples, the pressure is the pressure applied to the elastic sheet 1281 by the image capture device 20 during installation. Specifically, under normal conditions, the elastic sheet 1281 is in the first configuration. During installation of the image capture device 20, the image capture device 20 compresses the elastic sheet 1281, causing it to transition to the second configuration. Once the image capture device 20 is fully installed, the elastic sheet 1281 returns to the first configuration under its own elastic force. Compared to manually bending the elastic sheet 1281, this configuration simplifies operation and facilitates single-handed installation and removal of the image capture device 20.

[0071] Referring to FIG5 , in some examples, the retaining structure 128 further includes a paddle 1283 disposed on the elastic piece 1281. The paddle 1283 is configured to apply an external force to the elastic piece 1281, thereby bending the elastic piece 1281 into the second configuration. In this case, during the process of disassembling the image capture device 20, the user can apply an external force to the elastic piece 1281 via the paddle 1283, causing the elastic piece 1281 to bend into the second configuration, thereby allowing the image capture device 20 to be removed.

[0072] Referring to Figure 5, in some examples, the paddle 1283 is formed by bending and extending from one end of the elastic sheet 1281 in a direction away from the receiving cavity 1211, and the paddle 1283 gradually deviates from the outer surface of the grip portion 121 from the end connected to the elastic sheet 1281 to the end away from the elastic sheet 1281. In this case, the paddle 1283 and the elastic sheet 1281 can be an integral structure, which has a higher connection strength and lower production cost than using two independent components connected to each other.

[0073] 5 , in some examples, the elastic sheet 1281 has multiple ends, one of which is connected to the grip portion 121, while the other ends are free ends. That is, the elastic sheet 1281 is connected to the grip portion 121 via only one end. During use, since the elastic sheet 1281 is connected to the grip portion 121 via only one end, the resistance that the elastic sheet 1281 needs to overcome to bend and deform is greatly reduced, thereby simplifying the installation of the image capture device 20.

[0074] In some examples, the limiting portion 1282 is one of a positioning slot and a positioning post 202. As shown in FIG5 , the embodiment of the present application shows that the limiting portion 1282 is a positioning slot, that is, the limiting portion 1282 is a groove or a through hole provided on the elastic sheet 1281. Accordingly, to limit the position of the image acquisition device 20, a positioning post 202 can be provided on the image acquisition device 20, and the positioning post 202 cooperates with the positioning slot to secure the image acquisition device 20.

[0075] Referring to Figure 5 , in some examples, the grip portion 121 has a notch extending through its thickness, with a retaining structure 128 positioned within the notch. In this case, the retaining structure 128 can form a unified, integral unit with the grip portion 121, covering the image capture device 20. Furthermore, compared to positioning the retaining structure 128 at one end of the grip portion 121 to retain the exposed portion of the image capture device 20, this arrangement can prevent contamination of the exposed portion of the image capture device 20.

[0076] In some examples, the receiving cavity 1211 may be provided with a removable cover at the opening 1212, which is used to open or close the opening 1212. When the opening 1212 is closed, the cover can secure the image capture device 20. Furthermore, the cover can also seal the opening 1212 of the receiving cavity 1211 to prevent contamination of the image capture device 20 by contaminated liquid.

[0077] Referring to FIG6 , in some examples, a boss 1231 is provided around the cylindrical protrusion 123, and the cylindrical protrusion 123 is connected to the grip portion 121 via the boss 1231. In this case, the connection strength between the cylindrical protrusion 123 and the grip portion 121 can be improved. Therefore, during the rotation of the movable portion 111 relative to the grip portion 121, the risk of fracture of the cylindrical protrusion 123 at the connection location due to stress concentration at the cylindrical protrusion 123 can be reduced, which helps to improve the service life.

[0078] Referring to FIG7 , in some examples, the movable portion 111 is provided with an annular protrusion 114, which is disposed around the chute 113. In this case, the annular protrusion 114 can be utilized to strengthen the structural strength around the chute 113. Therefore, during the rotation of the movable portion 111 relative to the grip portion 121, the risk of damage to the lower leaf assembly 120 due to stress concentration at the chute 113 can be reduced, thereby improving the service life.

[0079] In some examples, the height of the annular protrusion 114 is 0.5 to 2 times the thickness of the movable portion 111 , and the height of the annular protrusion 114 is not less than 1.5 mm.

[0080] In some examples, the annular protrusion 114 is formed by thickening the edge of the chute 113. In this case, the annular protrusion 114 can be integrated with the lower leaf assembly 120. Compared with using a separate structural component, the production and installation process of the annular protrusion 114 can be simplified, which is conducive to reducing costs and improving production efficiency.

[0081] 7 , in some examples, the width of the annular protrusion 114 gradually increases from the end away from the movable portion 111 to the end connected to the movable portion 111. In this case, the connection strength between the annular protrusion 114 and the gripping portion 121 is increased, which can improve the stability of the structure.

[0082] Referring to Figures 3 and 7 , in some examples, the annular protrusion 114 is located on the side of the movable portion 111 facing away from the lower leaf assembly 120. In this case, the movable portion 111 and the grip portion 121 fit more closely together, which reduces the length of the cylindrical protrusion 123, thereby preventing the cylindrical protrusion 123 from being easily bent or broken due to excessive length, which could affect the stable operation of the structure.

[0083] 7 , in some examples, the outer periphery of the annular protrusion 114 is provided with a chamfer 1141. The embodiment of the present application shows that the outer periphery of the annular protrusion 114 is provided with a rounded chamfer 1141. In this case, scratches caused by sharp corners can be avoided.

[0084] 3 and 8 , in some examples, the movable portion 111 is provided with a booster 115. During operation, the booster 115 is used to transmit adjustment force to the movable portion 111. In this case, the booster 115 can facilitate the user's operation of the movable portion 111. In particular, when the user firmly grasps the grip portion 121, the user can apply pressure to the booster 115 with the movable thumb to rotate and slide the movable portion 111 relative to the grip portion 121, thereby reducing the possibility of the user slipping the grip portion 121 during operation.

[0085] 3 , in some examples, the booster 115 is located at an end of the movable portion 111 away from the upper leaf 112, that is, the booster 115 is located below the viewing window 1111. In this case, the lever arm length can be increased, reducing the adjustment power required to rotate the movable portion 111, thereby facilitating operation of the movable portion 111.

[0086] 3 , in some examples, the distance between the booster 115 and the cylindrical protrusion 123 is greater than the distance between the upper leaf 112 and the cylindrical protrusion 123. In this case, the adjustment power required to rotate the movable portion 111 can be further reduced.

[0087] In some examples, the distance between the booster 115 and the cylindrical protrusion 123 is 1.5 to 3 times the distance between the upper lobe 112 and the cylindrical protrusion 123 .

[0088] In some examples, during the sliding of the movable portion 111, the upper edge of the booster member 115 is located below the key area 125 provided on the grip portion 121. That is, the key area 125 is located within the visible window 1111. In this case, the range of motion of the booster member 115 is outside the key area 125, which can prevent the user from accidentally touching the key area 125 while operating the movable portion 111. This arrangement also prevents the booster member 115 from covering the key area 125 and affecting the user's key operation.

[0089] Referring to FIG8 , in some examples, the booster 115 has a thumb recess 1151. The thumb recess 1151 can be a groove formed by a depression on the surface of the booster 115. In this case, the thumb recess 1151 can improve the contact effect of the booster 115 on the thumb, thereby reducing the operating force of the thumb.

[0090] Referring to Figure 8 , in some examples, the thumb recess 1151 is provided with an anti-slip structure. The anti-slip structure can be selected from a variety of protective stripes, a protective coating, and protective particles. During use, the anti-slip structure can increase friction between the thumb and the booster 115, preventing the thumb from slipping off the surface of the booster 115 during operation, which could negatively impact the user's experience.

[0091] 9 , in some examples, a locking mechanism is provided between the movable portion 111 and the gripping portion 121 to lock the relative movement of the upper leaf 112 and the lower leaf 122 when the expander 10 is in the expanded state.

[0092] 3 and 9 , in some examples, the locking mechanism may include a first locking member 116 and a second locking member 129 , wherein the first locking member 116 is disposed on the movable portion 111 , and the second locking member 129 is disposed on the gripping portion 121 .

[0093] Referring to FIG. 9 , in some examples, the first locking member 116 has first ratchet teeth 1161 arranged along a predetermined direction, and the second locking member 129 has second ratchet teeth 1291 arranged along a predetermined direction and capable of intermeshing with the first ratchet teeth 1161. In the embodiment of the present application, the first ratchet teeth 1161 are tilted downward, while the second ratchet teeth 1291 are tilted upward. In this case, when no force is applied to the movable portion 111, the upper leaf 112 can be stably maintained in its current position by the ratchet mechanism. This eliminates the need for the user to constantly apply force to the movable portion 111 to stabilize the relative distance and angle between the upper leaf 112 and the lower leaf 122, thereby reducing the user's workload and facilitating the user's operation of the image capture device 20 for image capture.

[0094] In some examples, the preset direction may be the direction in which the movable portion 111 slides relative to the grip portion 121, that is, the preset direction is consistent with the length direction of the slide slot 113. In this case, the movable portion 111 can be locked in the direction in which it slides relative to the grip portion 121.

[0095] In some examples, the movable portion 111 may be pressed to release the mutual engagement between the first ratchet teeth 1161 and the second ratchet teeth 1291 , so as to facilitate sliding the upper leaf 112 downward.

[0096] In some examples, the steps of performing a vaginal examination using the vaginal examination device 1 include: inserting the examination mirror into the receiving cavity 1211; placing the upper leaf 112 and the lower leaf 122 in a closed state in the patient's vagina; pressing the movable portion 111 of the upper leaf assembly 110 to expand the expansion angle of the upper leaf 112 and the lower leaf 122; sliding the movable portion 111 of the upper leaf assembly 110 upward to further expand the distance between the upper leaf 112 and the lower leaf 122; observing the patient's condition visually or with a vaginal examination mirror; after completing the examination, sliding the movable portion 111 of the upper leaf assembly 110 downward to reduce the distance between the upper leaf 112 and the lower leaf 122; rotating the movable portion 111 of the upper leaf assembly 110 to close the angle of the upper leaf 112 and the lower leaf 122, and then removing the vaginal examination device 1 from the patient's vagina.

[0097] A first aspect of an embodiment of the present application provides an upper leaf assembly 110, comprising a movable portion 111 and an upper leaf 112 arranged on the movable portion 111, wherein the movable portion 111 is slidably and rotatably arranged on the lower leaf assembly 120 to adjust the height and angle of the upper leaf 112; the movable portion 111 is provided with a slide groove 113 running through its thickness, and the slide groove 113 is constructed to allow a columnar protrusion 123 arranged on the lower leaf assembly 120 to be slidably and rotatably arranged in the slide groove 113, so that the movable portion 111 can slide and rotate relative to the lower leaf assembly 120 under the action of external force; the movable portion 111 is provided with an annular protrusion 114, and the annular protrusion 114 is arranged around the slide groove 113.

[0098] In this case, the annular protrusion 114 can be used to strengthen the structural strength around the slide groove 113. Therefore, during the rotation of the movable part 111 relative to the gripping part 121, the risk of damage to the lower leaf assembly 120 due to stress concentration at the slide groove 113 position can be reduced, which is conducive to improving the service life.

[0099] A second aspect of the present invention provides a dilator 10 comprising an upper leaf assembly 110 and the aforementioned lower leaf assembly 120. The upper leaf assembly 110 is movably connected to the lower leaf assembly 120 and cooperates with the lower leaf assembly 120 to achieve vaginal dilation. In this case, an annular protrusion 114 can be used to strengthen the structural strength around the chute 113. Therefore, during the rotation of the movable portion 111 relative to the grip portion 121, the risk of damage to the lower leaf assembly 120 due to stress concentration at the chute 113 can be reduced, thereby improving its service life.

[0100] A third aspect of the embodiments of the present application provides a vaginal examination device 1 comprising a dilator 10 and an image acquisition device 20 disposed on the dilator 10, wherein the dilator 10 is the dilator 10 described above. In this case, the annular protrusion 114 can be used to strengthen the structural strength around the chute 113. Therefore, during the rotation of the movable portion 111 relative to the grip portion 121, the risk of damage to the lower leaf assembly 120 due to stress concentration in the chute 113 can be reduced, thereby facilitating a longer service life.
