Description

Smart solar streetlights

[0001] The present invention relates to a smart solar cell street light.

[0002] In general, solar power generation is a pollution-free energy source that, unlike other existing energy sources, does not produce greenhouse gas emissions or environmental destruction factors, and refers to directly converting sunlight into electricity using solar cells.

[0003] The technology described in Patent No. 10-1081555 has a problem: the fixed solar panel reduces power production. Patent No. 10-2023073 was developed to address this issue. However, the device required a complex mechanism to rotate the solar panel, which requires significant energy to operate, resulting in reduced efficiency for streetlights. Furthermore, the device's large size makes installation difficult and time-consuming. Furthermore, the solar panel's placement beneath the streetlight blocks the light emitted by the streetlight.

[0004] The present invention has been made to solve the problems of the above-mentioned prior art, and its purpose is to provide a smart solar cell streetlight in which the solar cell panel can be easily set in the direction in which the sun is tilted regardless of the direction of the streetlight, and the solar cell unit can be easily attached or detached from the lamp unit. In addition, the purpose is to provide a smart solar cell streetlight in which a neat and unified appearance can be formed by aligning the front and rear directions of the solar cell panel and the lamp unit, and which can be installed quickly and easily.

[0005] In order to achieve this purpose, the present invention is achieved by a smart solar cell streetlight including a solar cell unit that absorbs light to generate electricity, a battery unit that stores electricity generated from the solar cell unit, an angle conversion unit that operates by receiving electricity from at least one of the solar cell unit or the battery unit and converts the angle of the solar cell unit, and a lamp unit that operates by receiving electricity from at least one of the solar cell unit or the battery unit and has a plurality of LEDs.

[0006] In addition, a direction setting unit for setting the direction of the angle conversion unit may be further included between the angle conversion unit and the lamp unit.

[0007] In addition, it may further include a control unit that controls at least one of the battery unit, the angle conversion unit, and the lamp unit.

[0008] In addition, the present invention further includes a direction detection unit that detects a direction in at least one of the direction setting unit and the lamp unit, and the angle conversion unit can be set to east or west based on the direction detected through the direction detection unit.

[0009] In addition, the lamp unit may include a light unit having the plurality of LEDs and a housing protecting the light unit, and the direction setting unit may include a fixed base installed on the upper surface of the housing, a rotating base having at least six guide grooves arranged at equal intervals around the periphery and fitted into the fixed base, and a direction fixing unit that fixes the direction of the rotating base around the fixed base.

[0010] In addition, the direction fixing member may include a fixing pin that penetrates one part of the circumference of the fixing base and has one end inserted into or removed from the guide groove, a pin support portion that is spaced apart from the fixing base and installed on the upper surface of the housing to support the fixing pin, and an elastic body that maintains the fixing pin inserted into the guide groove.

[0011] In addition, the direction setting unit may further include a fixing means for preventing the rotating base from being separated from the fixed base.

[0012] According to the present invention, the path of the sun can be determined based on the detected direction, and the solar cell unit can be rotated along the path of the sun.

[0013] Additionally, the solar cell unit can be set to rotate along the path of the sun without changing the direction of the solar cell unit on a plane.

[0014] Additionally, the control unit can adjust the rotation speed of the solar cell unit according to the season, thereby maximizing the efficiency of the solar cell panel at all times even when the season changes.

[0015] Additionally, by having a built-in rechargeable battery, the streetlight can operate even when the external power supply is cut off.

[0016] Additionally, the front and rear directions of the lamp unit and the solar cell unit can be aligned, thereby creating a neat and unified appearance.

[0017] Additionally, the angle conversion unit can be easily detached from the lamp unit.

[0018] Additionally, by embedding the control unit in the angle conversion unit, the control unit can be easily replaced if it breaks down.

[0027] A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the attached drawings, but already well-known technical parts will be omitted or compressed for the sake of brevity.

[0028] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 9, a smart solar cell streetlight (1) according to an embodiment of the present invention may include a lamp unit (2), a battery unit (3), an angle conversion unit (4), a solar cell unit (5), a direction setting unit (6), a control unit (7), and a direction detection unit (8).

[0029] The lamp unit (2) receives power from a solar cell panel (51) or battery unit (3) to be described later and emits light, and includes a housing (21), a lamp unit (22), a protective panel (23), and a streetlight fixing unit (24).

[0030] The housing (21) is a means for protecting the light unit (22) and the battery unit (3), and can be formed in the shape of a circular plate with an open bottom or a rectangular solid with an open bottom, and is fixed to a wall of a building or a telephone pole, etc., through a streetlight fixing unit (24) to be described later.

[0031] The light unit (22) receives power from a solar cell panel (51) or a battery unit (3) to be described later and emits light. A substrate on which a plurality of LEDs (221) are mounted is placed inside the housing (21), with the LEDs (221) facing downward, and is controlled by a control unit (7) to be described later.

[0032] The protective panel (23) can collect or disperse light by changing the direction of light emitted from the light unit (22), and is installed at the bottom of the housing (21) to seal the bottom opening of the housing (21). Accordingly, light can be concentrated on a specific area or dispersed over a wide area, and foreign substances can be prevented from entering the interior of the housing (21).

[0033] The streetlight fixing member (24) is arranged at the rear end of the housing (21) and is coupled to a streetlight fixing means (64) (P) installed on a wall of a building or a utility pole. In addition, the streetlight fixing member (24) can be installed rotatably from the streetlight fixing means (64). Accordingly, the irradiation angle of the smart solar cell streetlight (1) can be changed.

[0034] The battery section (3) stores electricity generated from a solar cell panel (51) to be described later, is placed inside the housing (21), is placed above the light section (22), and supplies power to the LED (221), the motor (44) of the angle conversion section (4) to be described later, and the control section (7) to be described later.

[0035] The angle conversion unit (4) changes the angle of the solar cell unit (5) to be described later, is installed on the upper part of the housing (21), and includes an upper coupling unit (41), a rotation bracket (42), a link unit (43), a motor (44), a screw (45), a moving block (46), and a bracket coupling unit (47).

[0036] The upper joint (41) is connected to the solar cell unit (5) described later, and is formed in a panel shape of approximately a circle or polygon, with a number of holes formed at the edges. Accordingly, the upper joint (41) is connected by screws to the panel fixing unit (52) of the solar cell unit (5) described later.

[0037] Here, the diameter of the upper coupling portion (41) can be formed to be larger than the diameter of the rotation base (62) described later. Accordingly, the solar cell portion (5) and the upper coupling portion (41) can be easily coupled by screwing from the outside of the rotation base (62).

[0038] The rotating bracket (42) is a means for changing the angle of the solar cell unit (5) to be described later, and includes a first bracket (421) and a second bracket (422).

[0039] The first bracket (421) is positioned on the central bottom surface of the upper coupling portion (41) and is rotatably coupled with the bracket coupling portion (47) described later. Accordingly, the upper coupling portion (41) rotates around the rotation center of the first bracket (421).

[0040] The second bracket (422) is positioned apart from the first bracket (421), but is positioned on the lower surface of the upper joint portion (41), and is rotatably coupled to the link portion (43) described later. A description thereof will be provided later.

[0041] The link portion (43) is provided in pairs, with one end positioned on each side of the second bracket (422) to be rotatably coupled with the second bracket (422), and the other end positioned on each side of the moving block (46) to be described later to be rotatably coupled with the moving block (46). A description thereof will be provided later.

[0042] The motor (44) is a means for rotating the screw (45) described later, and is placed on the upper surface of the rotary base (62) and installed at the edge of the rotary base (62). In addition, the motor (44) operates by receiving electricity from at least one of the solar panel (51) and the battery unit (3), and is controlled by the control unit (7) described later. A description thereof will be provided later.

[0043] The screw (45) is a means for operating the moving block (46). One end is connected to the rotational axis of the motor (44), and the other end is fitted to the moving block (46) and is helically connected to the moving block (46). Accordingly, when the motor (44) operates, the screw (45) rotates, and the moving block (46) moves along the screw (45) according to the rotation of the screw (45). A description thereof will be provided later.

[0044] The movable block (46) is a means for operating the link portion (43), is fitted to the screw (45), is spirally connected, and is rotatably connected to the link portion (43). Accordingly, when the movable block (46) moves, the link portion (43) operates, and when the link portion (43) operates, the second bracket (422) moves, thereby rotating the upper coupling portion (41). That is, when the movable block (46) moves in one direction, the link portion (43) pushes and lifts the second bracket (422), thereby lifting one part of the upper coupling portion (41) and raising one part of the solar cell portion (5), so that the solar cell panel (51) is arranged to be inclined. In addition, when the movable block (46) moves in the other direction, the link portion (43) pulls the second bracket (422), thereby lowering the opposite part of the upper coupling portion (41), so that the solar cell panel (51) is arranged to be inclined in the opposite direction. That is, by moving the moving block (46), the upper surface of the solar cell panel (51) can be arranged to be inclined from the direction in which the sun rises to the direction in which the sun sets. Accordingly, the electrical productivity of the solar cell panel (51) can be increased.

[0045] The bracket joint (47) is a means for restraining the first bracket (421), is placed on the central upper surface of the rotary base (62), and is rotatably coupled with the first bracket (421).

[0046] The solar cell unit (5) is a device that collects sunlight and converts it into electricity, and includes a solar cell panel (51) and a panel fixing unit (52).

[0047] The solar panel (51) is a device composed of a plurality of solar cells that collects sunlight and converts it into electricity. It is arranged on the upper surface of the panel fixing unit (52), coupled with the panel fixing unit (52), and supplies power to at least one of the battery unit (3), the motor (44), and the control unit (7). Accordingly, when the sun is out, electricity can be stored in the battery unit (3), and the angle of the solar panel (51) can be changed by operating the motor (44), and when the sun is out or in a dark environment, the electricity stored in the battery unit (3) can be used to operate the LED (221), thereby illuminating a dark area.

[0048] The panel fixing member (52) is connected to the upper connecting member (41), and a plurality of screw holes are formed at positions corresponding to the holes of the upper connecting member (41), and at least 2 to 6 screw holes can be formed, and is connected to the upper connecting member (41) through screws. A description thereof will be provided later.

[0049] The direction setting unit (6) is a means for setting the rotation direction of the angle conversion unit (4), and includes a fixed base (61), a rotation base (62), a direction fixing unit (63), and a fixing means (64).

[0050] The fixed base (61) is a means for guiding the rotating base (62) to be described later, and is formed in a circular shape with an approximately open upper portion, arranged on the upper surface of the housing (21), and a first hole (611) and a second hole (612) are formed around the periphery. At this time, the second hole (612) may be formed with screw threads so that a fixing means (64) can be coupled thereto.

[0051] Additionally, the fixed base (61) may be formed lower than the rotating base (62). A description thereof will be provided later.

[0052] The rotating base (62) is a means for setting the direction of the angle conversion unit (4) by rotating it, and is formed in a roughly circular shape with an open bottom, but the outer diameter corresponds to the inner diameter of the fixed base (61), and a plurality of guide grooves (621) are formed at equal intervals around the circumference.

[0053] In addition, the rotary base (62) is inserted into the interior of the fixed base (61) and is rotatable from the fixed base (61), and the guide groove (621) is opened upwardly and radially and corresponds to the fixed pin (632) and the fixed means (64) described later. A description thereof will be provided later.

[0054] In addition, the rotary base (62) may be formed higher than the fixed base (61). Accordingly, an upper portion of the rotary base (62) protrudes from the fixed base (61), and a guide groove (621) of the rotary base (62) protrudes from the side of the fixed base (61) to a predetermined extent, thereby easily aligning the positions of the guide groove (621) and the fixed pin (632) described later. Accordingly, the rotary base (62) can be easily detached from the fixed base (61).

[0055] The direction fixing member (63) is a means for detaching the rotation base (62) from the fixed base (61), and includes a pin support member (631), a fixed pin (632), and an elastic body (633).

[0056] The pin support member (631) is formed in a roughly rectangular panel shape as a means for supporting and guiding the fixed pin (632) to be described later, and a first through hole (631a) corresponding to the first hole (611) is formed.

[0057] In addition, the pin support (631) is installed on the upper surface of the housing (21), but is placed on the outside of the fixed base (61) and spaced apart from the first hole (611).

[0058] An explanation of this will be provided later.

[0059] The fixed pin (632) is a means for detaching the rotary base (62) from the fixed base (61). One end is inserted into the first hole (611), the other end is inserted into the first through-hole (631a), and a laid-down "U"-shaped stopper (632a) is provided at the other end. At this time, the end of the stopper (632a) is inserted into the second through-hole (631b). In addition, the fixed pin (632) is provided with a disc-shaped support piece (632b) at one end that supports an elastic body (633) to be described later.

[0060] An explanation of this will be provided later.

[0061] The elastic body (633) is a means for restoring the fixed pin (632), and is roughly a coil spring or the like, and is fitted to the fixed pin (632) and placed between the pin support portion (631) and the support piece (632b). Accordingly, when the stopper (632a) is pulled, the end of the stopper (632a) is released from the second through hole (631b), and when the stopper (632a) is rotated in the released state, the end of the stopper (632a) is caught on the pin support portion (631), so that one end of the fixed pin (632) can be maintained in a state in which it is inserted into the first hole (611). After inserting the rotary base (62) into the fixed base (61) and rotating the stopper (632a), one end of the fixed pin (632) protrudes into the interior of the fixed base (61) by the elastic body (633) and is inserted into the guide groove (621) of the rotary base (62). Accordingly, the rotary base (62) can be maintained in a state of being fixed to the fixed base (61). Therefore, the rotary base (62) can be easily detached from the fixed base (61).

[0062] The fixing means (64) is a means for completely fixing the rotary base (62) to the fixed base (61), and is generally made of a screw or the like. When the fixing means (64) is screwed into the second hole (612), the end of the fixing means (64) protrudes into the interior of the fixed base (61). Accordingly, when the rotary base (62) is fixed with the fixing pin (632) while the rotary base (62) is inserted into the fixed base (61), the second hole (612) and the guide groove (621) of the rotary base (62) are automatically aligned, and when the fixing means (64) is inserted into the second hole (612) and tightened, the end of the fixing means (64) is inserted into the aligned guide groove (621), thereby firmly fixing the rotary base (62) to the fixed base (61).

[0063] The above-described direction fixing member (63) or fixing means (64) may be arranged in multiple numbers on the upper surface of the housing (21). Accordingly, the rotating base (62) can be more firmly fixed to the fixed base (61).

[0064] The control unit (7) is a means for controlling at least one of the charging of the battery unit (3), the operation of the motor (44), and the operation of the LED (221), and is placed inside the rotating base (62) and operates by receiving power from at least one of the solar panel (51) and the battery unit (3).

[0065] Additionally, the control unit (7) may include time data from sunrise to sunset according to the season.

[0066] Accordingly, when the time from sunrise to sunset varies depending on the season, the control unit (7) can control the rotation speed of the motor (44) based on the built-in data, thereby controlling the rotation speed of the solar panel (51), thereby maximizing the power productivity of the solar panel (51). In addition, the control unit (7) can also determine the remaining electricity amount of the battery unit (3) and return the solar panel (51) to its original position in the sunrise direction after sunset.

[0067] The direction detection unit (8) is a means for detecting direction and is arranged on the upper surface of the housing (21). Accordingly, even if the direction of the smart solar cell streetlight (1) changes, the operator can recognize the direction through the direction detection unit (8) and further, rotate the direction setting unit (6) to align the angle conversion unit (4) in the east-west direction. In other words, the direction setting unit (6) can be rotated and set so that the moving block (46) moves in the east-west direction, and the solar cell unit (5) can be prevented from being twisted from the lamp unit (2) on a plane.

[0068] If the moving block (46) does not move in the east-west direction, the solar panel (51) cannot rotate to follow the sun, resulting in reduced power productivity. In addition, if the direction of the solar panel (51) cannot be changed from the angle change unit (4), the solar panel (51) may be misaligned from the lamp unit (2), which may damage the appearance.

[0069] However, the present invention can maximize electricity productivity by allowing the solar cell panel (51) to rotate along the sun, and can form an attractive appearance by aligning the solar cell panel (51) and the pump unit.

[0070] Meanwhile, a smart solar cell streetlight (1) according to an embodiment of the present invention may further include a light sensor unit (9) and a motion detection sensor unit (10).

[0071] The light sensor unit (9) is arranged at the tip of the housing (21), operates by receiving power from at least one of the solar panel (51) and the battery unit (3), and is controlled by the control unit (7) described above. Accordingly, when the light sensor unit (9) detects the brightness around the smart solar cell streetlight (1) and generates information, the control unit (7) adjusts the intensity of light emitted from the LED (221) based on the generated information, thereby maintaining the brightness around the smart solar cell streetlight (1) at a constant level.

[0072] The motion detection sensor unit (10) is arranged at the front end of the housing (21), operates by receiving power from at least one of the solar cell panel (51) and the battery unit (3), and is controlled by the control unit (7) described above. Accordingly, if no movement is detected around the smart solar cell streetlight (1) through the motion detection sensor unit (10), the control unit (7) can save energy by lowering the intensity of light emitted from the LED (221) or turning it off.

[0073] The installation process of a smart solar cell streetlight (1) according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the attached drawings below.

[0074] The direction in which the smart solar cell street light (1) is installed is determined at the location where the smart solar cell street light (1) is installed.

[0075] Once the installation direction of the smart solar cell streetlight (1) is determined, the fixing means (64) is separated from the fixing base (61), the stopper (632a) is pulled to rotate, and then the rotating base (62) is separated from the fixing base (61).

[0076] After separation, the panel fixing part (52) is separated from the upper joint part (41).

[0077] Afterwards, the direction of the angle conversion unit (4) is determined through the direction detection unit, and the upper coupling unit (41) and the panel fixing unit (52) are combined while the solar cell panel (51) and the lamp unit (2) are aligned.

[0078] After the combination is completed, the rotating base (62) is inserted into the fixed base (61), the stopper (632a) is rotated to insert the fixing pin (632) into the guide groove (621) of the rotating base (62), and the fixing means (64) is coupled to the fixed base (61) to firmly fix the rotating base (62) to the fixed base (61).

[0079] The installation work is completed when the worker installs the set smart solar cell streetlight (1) at the installation location.

[0080] Therefore, the installation direction of the smart solar cell streetlight can be determined at the installation site, and the orientation of the angle converter (4) can be easily adjusted before installation, thereby increasing the power productivity of the solar cell panel. Furthermore, all components are configured as a single set, making installation extremely simple, and the overall light weight facilitates transportation. Furthermore, the solar cell and lamp units can be easily separated, allowing for easy replacement in the event of a component failure.

[0081] In describing the present invention described above, even if the embodiments are different, the same reference numbers are used for the same components, and the description thereof may be omitted as necessary.

[0082] As described above, although the specific description of the present invention has been made by way of embodiments with reference to the attached drawings, the above-described embodiments are only described as preferred examples of the present invention, and therefore the present invention should not be understood as being limited to the above-described embodiments. Therefore, in addition to what has been described above, a person having ordinary skill in the art to which the present invention pertains will be able to easily implement other forms of the present invention within the same scope as the above-described embodiments, or implement inventions in an equivalent field to the present invention, based only on the description of the embodiments of the present invention.
