Abstract
Description
[0001]DESCRIPTION FIRST AID NOTEBOOK APPLICATION Technical Field The invention relates to the first aid notebook application, which is a system used in the field of health, which can be used by any individual, anytime, anywhere, in an emergency situation related to the health of the individual, to have information about the health of the individual, to make the right intervention as soon as possible, to notify the 112 emergency service and his / her relatives. Background of the invention First aid is the initial medical assistance and care provided to a person who has suffered an injury or medical emergency. It is a set of immediate actions and techniques designed to stabilize the injured person's condition, prevent worsening of the injury or illness, and speed recovery until professional medical assistance can be provided. The importance of first aid: • Injury stabilization: First aid measures help to stabilize the injured person's condition and prevent further damage or deterioration. This initial care can have a significant impact on the outcome of the injury. • Preservation of life: Prompt and appropriate first aid can preserve life until advanced medical care can be obtained. Techniques such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can help maintain blood flow and oxygenation. • Preventing complications: Immediate first aid can prevent potential complications from untreated injuries, such as infection, shock or secondary injuries. • Reduce recovery time: Properly administered first aid can minimize the extent of injury and shorten recovery time. For example, emergency wound care can prevent infections that can delay healing. • Reducing long-term effects: By responding to injuries early, first aid can help reduce the long-term consequences, such as disability or chronic illness, of untreated injuries. • Professional medical assistance: Effective first aid can buy time for professional medical help to arrive or for the injured person to be transported to a medical facility, ensuring timely and appropriate treatment. • Promotes confidence and reassurance: Giving first aid can help both the rescuer and the casualty to remain calm. It promotes a sense of safety and reassurance in emergency situations. • Legal and ethical responsibility: Providing timely and appropriate first aid is often a legal and ethical obligation. Failure to do so can lead to legal consequences and ethical dilemmas. • Effective use of resources: Well-executed first aid can prevent unnecessary hospital visits for minor injuries, thus optimizing health care resources for more critical cases. In technical terms, first aid serves as an initial response system that reduces the severity of injury, preserves vital functions, facilitates professional medical intervention and ultimately influences the prognosis and recovery process of the injured or ill person. It is an essential component of emergency medical care, bridging the gap between the occurrence of an incident and the arrival of advanced medical services. It protects vital functions, facilitates professional medical intervention and ultimately influences the prognosis and recovery process of the injured or ill person. It is an essential component of emergency medical care, bridging the gap between the occurrence of an incident and the arrival of advanced medical services. In the current situation, in an emergency situation related to the individual's health, general first aid information has been provided, rather than individual-specific intervention due to lack of knowledge of the individual's health status. In cases requiring urgent intervention related to the individual's health, incorrect interventions were made due to lack of health information. The individual's health information and the family's transport information could not be accessed immediately. The invention provides the following benefits: • Avoiding wrong interventions in emergencies and the damage they cause. • Taking the right action as soon as possible. • Calling 112 Emergency Services as soon as possible. • Notifying the family as soon as possible. • When the emergency intervention information is entered by the person or their relatives during the registration phase of the system, the system will give an error if the wrong intervention is entered, so that the person providing first aid can trust the intervention information in the application. • The application is easy to download and the material integrated into the application is easily accessible and portable. • The accessory with the digital material integrated with the application has a stylish design. • Accessory options for people of different ages and styles. • Ensure data security and prevent theft of the person's information via the QR code (QR change, inability to take screenshots). • 112 Emergency Service can see the interventions made to the individual on the application and interventions are not repeated and time is not lost. • No stigmatization problem for individuals thanks to necklaces, bracelets and brooches in different designs. • The person providing first aid can access the system in an emergency using the QR reader on their mobile phone, without having to download an application. • If the product is stolen, the individual can prevent data theft by locking the account from the system. The system consists of two parts; the first is an application that can be downloaded onto a mobile device and the second is a digital material that can generate QR codes and can be worn on accessories such as bracelets, necklaces and brooches. From the QR scanning section of the mobile application downloaded to the phone, or from the QR reader application on the device of the person providing first aid, the QR code on the digital material, which can be found on the bracelet, necklace or brooch of the person in need of first aid, is scanned so that the first aid can be directed to the application and access the person's emergency notes. The structural and characteristic features and all the advantages of the invention will be more clearly understood by means of the following figure and detailed description, and therefore this evaluation should be made with this figure and detailed description in mind. Application Detailed Description of the Invention The invention comprises a mobile application (8) and a digital material integrated into the mobile application (8) that can generate a QR code. The user registers to the mobile application (8) downloaded to the phone and logs in with the Login button (1). After entering the home page and clicking on the Add contact button (3), he / she will enter his / her information and register in the system. After this registration process, the user will enter their health information into the system, and the application (8) will offer two options for entering this information into the system: e-pulse or manual entry. If the e-pulse option is selected, the information in the user's e-pulse will be integrated into the application (8). If the manual option is selected, the user will enter the information himself / herself. Name, surname, Turkish ID number, date of birth, gender, blood type, allergies, existing diseases, medications used continuously, person to be contacted in case of emergency, phone number to be called in case of emergency, my notes information and Emergency Response Information to be written by the user will be added to the system and a special ID number will be given to the user by the system. With this ID number, the digital material on accessories such as watches, bracelets, necklaces, brooches, etc. will be accessed and the ID number will be written, thus creating a QR code integrated with the person's information. The registration button (2) process will be completed by accepting the informed consent form. The person who will provide first aid in an emergency will be directed to the page of the person in need of first aid by entering the application (8) downloaded to their phone and pressing the Scan QR button (4). If the person has not downloaded the application (8) on their phone, they will be directed to the scanner with the QR reading feature on their phone and will be able to log in to the system anonymously. The system will direct the first assistant to the screen with health information and the Emergency response button (5) is pressed. At the bottom of the screen, there will be 3 buttons: "Call 112 Emergency Service", "Emergency Intervention", "Notify the family". When the "Call 112 Emergency Service" button is clicked on the phone whose location is open, 112 Emergency Service will be notified and the Emergency Service will be called. In the "Emergency Intervention" section, general first aid information and the interventions to be recorded in the system for the existing health problem will be included. (For example; the individual has Epilepsy and uses this application (8) due to the possibility of having a seizure in a place where there is no relative with him. From the registration screen mentioned above, he / she will come to the "Add Emergency Intervention Information" section and write the interventions he / she wants to be done during the seizure on the Added interventions button (6). The system will give an "error" if there is a wrong intervention written for the disease. In this way, the wrong intervention will be prevented by the people around in case of emergency and the correct intervention will be carried out as soon as possible. When the first responder enters the system, if the person in need of first aid does not have an illness, he / she can access general first aid information from the Emergency Intervention section. If the user writes in the My Notes section on the information entry screen in the application (8) what symptoms he / she is showing when fainting due to the current illness, it will be easier for the first responder to understand exactly why the person has fainted. In addition, the Emergency Interventions section can be marked using the Added Interventions button (6). The person performing the intervention will mark the intervention and when the emergency services arrive, they will be able to see what the first responder did or did not do. If the "Notify family" button is clicked, a message is sent to the family's phone. To ensure data security, the QR code on the digital material in the person's accessory will be periodically generated by the system with a different QR code based on the same ID number. In addition, there will be a feature that does not allow screenshots to be taken on the page to which the first responder is directed to access the individual's health information, and the individual's health information will be kept secure in this image. If the material worn as an accessory is stolen, the user will be able to prevent the theft of data by locking the account from the system. When the application (8) is downloaded to the phone, the application (8) has a login button (1) and a registration button (2). When the ADD PERSON button (3) on the main screen of the application (8) is pressed, the person can be added to the system as an E-pulse or manually. If the manual option is selected, information will be provided to add the person. When the person's details have been entered, the CONSENT FORM accepted and the SAVE TO SYSTEM button pressed, the person is registered in the system. On the main screen of the application (8), after the person has been registered in the system, there is a button at the top right with the ID number given when the person was registered in the system. When the button is clicked, the individual's page opens and the desired information can be changed or added to. When a person opens the application (8), a screen with the Scan QR button (4) appears. The application (8) directs the QR to the camera for reading. When the QR is scanned and directed to the person's page, a screen will appear with the person's health information and the three buttons below. When the Emergency Response button (5) is pressed on this screen, the 112 emergency service is notified using the location of the person's phone. Pressing the Emergency Response button (5) will bring up the Emergency Response page that was entered into the system when the person was enrolled. If the "Notify family" button is clicked, the family will be notified by SMS. The interventions added by the person when registering in the system are added by pressing the button "Added interventions" (6). In the boxes next to the interventions, the interventions carried out by the first responder can be marked. These interventions are sent as a notification to the 112 emergency service. For example, these are the emergency interventions added by a person with epilepsy when registering with the system. When the GENERAL FIRST AID button (7) is pressed, the screen with general first aid information is displayed. The invention can be incorporated into accessories such as necklaces and bracelets. These designs can be customized and the design can be varied for different age groups and individuals with different styles.
