Technical Field

[0002] Embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of connectors, and more particularly, to a connector, a connector assembly, and an electronic device. Background Art

[0003] In the related art, the connector has a large insertion loss and a low communication rate, which affects the performance of the connector.

[0004] Summary of the Invention

[0005] Embodiments of the present application provide a connector, a connector assembly, and an electronic device for reducing the insertion loss of the connector and improving the communication rate of the connector.

[0006] In one aspect, embodiments of the present application provide a connector. The connector includes at least one sub-connection structure. The sub-connection structure includes a first insulating portion and a plurality of signal pins. The plurality of signal pins extend along a first direction and are spaced apart along a second direction. The first direction intersects the second direction. The plurality of signal pins include a first signal pin and a second signal pin. The first signal pin is disposed on a first side of the first insulating portion along a third direction. The first signal pin includes a first main portion and a first connecting portion, the first connecting portion being connected to one end of the first main portion along the first direction and being configured to connect to a cable. The third direction intersects a plane encompassing the first and second directions. The second signal pin includes a second main portion, a third main portion, and a second connecting portion. The second and third main portions are arranged along the first direction, with the second main portion electrically connected to the third main portion. The second main portion is disposed on a second side of the first insulating portion along the third direction, and the third main portion is disposed on either the first or second side of the first insulating portion along the third direction. The first and second sides are opposite sides of the first insulating portion along the third direction. In the first direction, the third main portion is disposed on an end of the first main portion distal from the first connecting portion. The second connecting portion is connected to one end of the second main body portion away from the third main body portion along the first direction, and the second connecting portion is used to be connected to a cable.

[0007] In an embodiment of the present application, a first signal pin is provided including a first connection portion, the first connection portion being configured to connect to a cable, such that the cable and the first signal pin can be directly electrically connected. A second signal pin is provided including a second connection portion, the second connection portion being configured to connect to a cable, such that the cable and the second signal pin can be directly electrically connected.

[0008] In this way, the electrical connection between the cable and the signal pins (including the first signal pin and the second signal pin) does not need to pass through the printed circuit board (PCB), avoiding signal loss caused by transmission on the conductive traces and conductive vias of the PCB, reducing the insertion loss of the connector, reducing the loss per unit distance (for example, 1 inch) during signal transmission, and improving the signal transmission rate.

[0009] Furthermore, in the first direction, the third body portion is disposed at an end of the first body portion away from the first connecting portion, enabling a dual-row pin arrangement for the connector, increasing pin density and facilitating connector miniaturization. The third body portion is disposed on either the first or second side of the first insulating portion along the third direction, increasing pin layout flexibility and meeting diverse usage requirements.

[0010] That is, by adopting the above-mentioned configuration, a low-loss, high-speed, high-pin-density and miniaturized connector can be achieved.

[0011] In some possible implementations, when the third main body is arranged on the first side of the first insulating part along the third direction, the first insulating part includes a first sub-insulating part and a second sub-insulating part connected in sequence along the first direction. The first main body is arranged on the first side of the first sub-insulating part along the third direction, and the first connecting part is connected to an end of the first main body away from the second sub-insulating part. The second main body is arranged on the second side of the first sub-insulating part along the third direction, and the third main body is arranged on the first side of the second sub-insulating part along the third direction. Such an arrangement enables the first main body and the second main body to be arranged on opposite sides of the first sub-insulating part along the third direction, so that the first insulating part can play a role in insulating and shielding between the first main body and the second main body, reducing the risk of short circuit between the first main body and the second main body, and improving the reliability of the connector. In addition, the connector can be arranged in a double row of pins, thereby improving the pin density of the connector and facilitating the miniaturization of the connector.

[0012] In some possible implementations, the first insulating portion further includes a third sub-insulating portion, wherein the first sub-insulating portion and the second sub-insulating portion are disposed on either side of the third sub-insulating portion along the first direction, and the first sub-insulating portion and the second sub-insulating portion are respectively connected to the third sub-insulating portion. The third sub-insulating portion defines an opening that extends through the third sub-insulating portion along its thickness. The second signal pin further includes a fourth main portion, which extends through the opening of the third sub-insulating portion, with one end of the fourth main portion connected to an end of the second main portion proximate to the opening along the first direction, and the other end of the fourth main portion connected to an end of the third main portion proximate to the opening along the first direction. Such a configuration enables the fourth main body portion to electrically connect the third main body portion arranged on the first side of the first insulating portion along the third direction and the second main body portion arranged on the second side of the first insulating portion along the third direction, so that the second signal pin can be arranged on the first side and the second side of the first insulating portion along the third direction. There is no need to use conductive vias of the PCB board (such as the first conductive via or the second conductive via) to achieve electrical connection between the second main body portion and the third main body portion, thereby avoiding the loss of the signal when it is transmitted on the conductive vias of the PCB board, reducing the insertion loss of the signal, and improving the signal efficiency of the connector.

[0013] In some possible implementations, when the third body portion is disposed on the second side of the first insulating portion along the third direction, the third body portion protrudes from the first body portion in the first direction. This arrangement allows the first signal pin and the second signal pin to form a stepped shape in the first direction, thereby reducing mutual interference between the first signal pin and the second signal pin when electrically connected to other components (e.g., a spring).

[0014] In some possible implementations, the sub-connection structure further includes an isolation pin, and the isolation pin includes at least two first isolation pins and at least two second isolation pins. The first isolation pin is arranged on the first side of the first insulating portion along the third direction, and along the second direction, at least two first isolation pins are arranged on both sides of the first signal pin. The second isolation signal pin includes a sixth main body and a seventh main body. The sixth main body is arranged on the second side of the first insulating portion along the third direction, and along the second direction, the sixth main body of at least two second isolation pins is arranged on both sides of the second main body. The seventh main body and the third main body are arranged on the same side of the first insulating portion along the third direction, and along the second direction, the seventh main body of at least two second isolation pins is arranged on both sides of the third main body. In this arrangement, the at least two first isolation pins can isolate the first signal pin, and the at least two second isolation pins can isolate the second signal pin, thereby reducing mutual interference of signals during transmission and improving the reliability of the connector.

[0015] In some possible implementations, the sub-connection structure further includes a plurality of isolation connectors, and the plurality of isolation connectors include a first isolation connector and a second isolation connector. The first isolation connector is arranged on the first side of the first insulating portion along the third direction, and the first isolation connector is electrically connected to the end of at least two first isolation pins away from the first connection portion along the first direction. The second isolation connector and the third main body are arranged on the same side of the first insulating portion along the third direction. The second isolation connector is electrically connected to the end of at least two seventh main bodies away from the sixth main body along the first direction. Such an arrangement enables the first isolation pin and the first isolation connector to surround the first signal pin to isolate the first signal pin and reduce mutual interference of signals during transmission. Furthermore, the second isolation pin and the second isolation connector are able to surround the second signal pin (third main body) to isolate the second signal pin and reduce mutual interference of signals during transmission.

[0016] In some possible implementations, the first main body portion and the second main body portion are arranged relative to each other along a third direction. The sub-connection structure also includes a first isolating portion, and the first insulating portion covers the first isolating portion. The first isolating portion is arranged between the first main body portion and the second main body portion along the third direction. It can be understood that the first isolating portion can play an isolation role to reduce the mutual interference between the first main body portion and the second main body portion, that is, to reduce the mutual interference between the signal transmitted on the first signal pin and the signal transmitted on the second signal pin. In addition, the first insulating portion is provided to cover the first isolating portion, so that the first insulating portion can play a role in electrically isolating the first isolating portion and the pin (including the signal pin and the isolation pin), reducing the risk of short circuit between the first isolating portion and the pin, and improving the reliability of the connector.

[0017] In some possible implementations, the first isolation portion is grounded, and the isolation pin is electrically connected to the first isolation portion. This configuration allows the isolation pins (including the first isolation pin and the second isolation pin) to be grounded, thereby achieving isolation.

[0018] In some possible implementations, the sub-connection structure further includes a support portion connected to the first insulating portion. The support portion and the first insulating portion enclose a first groove and a second groove, with the first groove located on a first side of the first insulating portion along the third direction, and the second groove located on a second side of the first insulating portion along the third direction. At least a portion of the first connecting portion along the first direction is disposed within the first groove, and at least a portion of the second connecting portion along the first direction is disposed within the second groove. This arrangement enables the first insulating portion to electrically isolate the first and second connecting portions, reducing the risk of a short circuit between the first and second connecting portions. Furthermore, the first insulating portion encapsulates the first isolating portion, allowing the first isolating portion to be disposed between the first and second connecting portions along the third direction, thereby isolating the first and second connecting portions and reducing mutual interference during signal transmission. Furthermore, arranging at least a portion of the first connecting portion along the first direction within the first groove and at least a portion of the second connecting portion along the first direction within the second groove can also improve the regularity of the arrangement of the first and second signal pins.

[0019] In some possible implementations, the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion are spaced apart along the first direction. This arrangement can reduce the mutual influence between the cable welded to the first connecting portion and the cable welded to the second connecting portion, thereby improving the convenience when welding the cable to the connector.

[0020] In some possible implementations, the sub-connection structure includes a first sub-connection structure and a second sub-connection structure. The first sub-connection structure and the second sub-connection structure are spaced apart along a third direction. The first sub-connection structure and the second sub-connection structure are connected, and the second side of the first insulating portion of the first sub-connection structure is adjacent to the second side of the first insulating portion of the second sub-connection structure. This arrangement enables the connector to have dual-row, double-sided pins, improves the pin density of the connector, and facilitates miniaturization of the connector.

[0021] In some possible implementations, the connector further includes a second insulating portion, disposed along the third direction between the first sub-connection structure and the second sub-connection structure, the second insulating portion being connected to the first sub-connection structure and the second sub-connection structure. This arrangement reduces the risk of short circuits between pins (e.g., signal pins or isolation pins) in the first sub-connection structure and pins (e.g., signal pins or isolation pins) in the second sub-connection structure, thereby improving the reliability of the connector.

[0022] In some possible implementations, the connector further includes a second isolating portion. The second insulating portion covers the second isolating portion. This arrangement enables the second isolating portion to be disposed between the first sub-connection structure and the second sub-connection structure along a third direction to serve as an isolation portion, thereby reducing the mutual influence between the first sub-connection structure and the second sub-connection structure and reducing mutual interference between signals. Furthermore, the second insulating portion is arranged to cover the second isolating portion, so that the second isolating portion can electrically isolate the second isolating portion and the pins (including signal pins and isolation pins), thereby reducing the risk of short circuit between the second isolating portion and the pins and improving the reliability of the connector.

[0023] In some possible implementations, the connector further includes a plastic-sealed portion and a shell. The plastic-sealed portion is filled between any two adjacent pins, and the pins are exposed to the plastic-sealed portion. The shell covers the sub-connection structure. The plastic-sealed portion is provided to be filled between any two adjacent pins, which can electrically isolate any two adjacent pins, reduce the risk of short circuit between any two adjacent pins, and improve the reliability of the connector. In addition, the plastic-sealed portion can also protect the pins, reduce the risk of pin damage, and extend the service life of the connector. The shell is provided to cover the sub-connection structure, so that the shell can protect the sub-connection structure and extend the service life of the connector.

[0044] Figure 1 is a block diagram illustrating the structure of an electronic device provided in some embodiments of the present application. Figure 2 is a schematic diagram illustrating the connection between a daughter card and a switch management board of an electronic device provided in some embodiments of the present application. Figure 3 is a schematic diagram illustrating the connection between multiple daughter cards of an electronic device provided in some embodiments of the present application.

[0045] The embodiments of the present application provide an electronic device 300. The electronic device 300 may be an electronic device having communication functions, computing functions, or other functions. For example, the electronic device 300 may be a server, a switch, a computer, or a personal computer. It is understood that the embodiments of the present application do not further limit the type of the electronic device 300.

[0046] As shown in FIG1 , an electronic device 300 may include a connector assembly 200 . The connector assembly 200 may include a female connector 201 and a connector 100 . The connector 100 is configured to be plugged with the female connector 201 .

[0047] It is understandable that the shape of the connector 100 is compatible with the shape of the female connector 201, so that the connector 100 can be plugged into the female connector 201. In some examples, the female connector 201 may include a plurality of springs, and the connector 100 may include a plurality of pins 117 (not shown in FIG. 1 , see FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 ). When the connector 100 is plugged into the female connector 201, the pins 117 can be electrically connected to the springs, so that signals can be transmitted between the connector 100 and the female connector 201.

[0048] In some examples, the number of pins 117 is the same as the number of springs. When the connector 100 is plugged into the female connector 201, the plurality of pins 117 can be electrically connected to the plurality of springs in a one-to-one correspondence.

[0049] In some examples, pins 117 may be gold fingers, and connector 100 may be a gold finger connector. For example, the material of pins 117 may include metal or alloy, for example, the material of pins 117 may include at least one of copper, gold, silver, and aluminum, to improve the electrical conductivity of pins 117. The materials of multiple pins 117 may be the same or different.

[0050] In some examples, as shown in FIG2 , an electronic device 300 may include a switch management board 302 and multiple daughter cards 301. The switch management board 302 may implement at least one of a signal switching function and a signal management function. The daughter cards 301 may include a power daughter card, a network daughter card, and a Peripheral Component Interface Express (PCIe) daughter card.

[0051] The number of daughter cards 301 can be two, three, four or more. It can be understood that Figure 2 only shows two daughter cards 301, and Figure 3 only shows three daughter cards 301, and does not further limit the number of daughter cards 301 in the embodiments of the present application.

[0052] For example, as shown in FIG3 , the plurality of daughter cards 301 may include a first daughter card 301a, a second daughter card 301b, and a third daughter card 301c. The first daughter card 301a, the second daughter card 301b, and the third daughter card 301c may be of the same or different types. There may be multiple female connectors 201, and the multiple female connectors 201 may be electrically connected to the switch management board 302 and the multiple daughter cards 301 in a one-to-one correspondence.

[0053] For example, as shown in Figures 2 and 3, the plurality of female connectors 201 may include a first female connector 201a, a second female connector 201b, a third female connector 201c, and a fourth female connector 201d. The first female connector 201a may be electrically connected to the first daughter card 301a, the second female connector 201b may be electrically connected to the second daughter card 301b, the third female connector 201c may be electrically connected to the third daughter card 301c, and the fourth female connector 201d may be electrically connected to the switch management board 302.

[0054] The number of connectors 100 can be the same as the number of female connectors 201, so that the connectors 100 can be plugged into the female connectors 201 in a one-to-one correspondence. For example, as shown in Figures 2 and 3, the multiple connectors 100 may include a first connector 100a, a second connector 100b, a third connector 100c, and a fourth connector 100d. The first connector 100a is used to plug into the first female connector 201a, the second connector 100b is used to plug into the second female connector 201b, the third connector 100c is used to plug into the third female connector 201c, and the fourth connector 100d is used to plug into the fourth female connector 201d.

[0055] In this way, as shown in Figure 2, the first connector 100a and the second connector 100b can be electrically connected to the fourth connector 100d respectively through the cable Q, so that the signal can be transmitted between the daughter card 301 (the first daughter card 301a and the second daughter card 301b) and the switch management board 302; or, as shown in Figure 3, any two of the first connector 100a, the second connector 100b and the third connector 100c can be electrically connected through the cable Q, so that the signal can be transmitted between multiple daughter cards 301 (the first daughter card 301a, the second daughter card 301b and the third daughter card 301c).

[0056] In some examples, as shown in Figures 2 and 3, the electronic device 300 may also include a cable box 303 (or cable backplane), the cable box 303 may include a shell 3032, the cable Q is arranged in the shell 3032, the connector 100 can be connected to the shell 3032, and a portion of the pin 117 along the extension direction (first direction X) is located in the shell 3032 and electrically connected to the cable Q.

[0057] For example, as shown in Figures 2 and 3, the cable box 303 may include a fixing member 3031, and the housing 3032 is connected to the fixing member 3031. The fixing members 3031 are arranged on both sides of the connector 100 along the second direction Y to fix the connector 100. The second direction Y intersects with the extension direction of the pins 117 (the first direction X). In some examples, the second direction Y is perpendicular to the first direction X.

[0058] It can be understood that by providing the cable box 303, the cable box 303 can support the multiple connectors 100, so that the multiple connectors 100 can be plugged into the multiple female connectors 201 respectively, thereby improving the convenience when plugging the connectors 100 into the female connectors 201. In addition, arranging the cable Q in the cable box 303 can reduce the impact of the cable Q on other components of the electronic device 300.

[0059] In the related art, the connector 100 may include a printed circuit board (PCB), the printed circuit board includes conductive traces, and the conductive traces include surface conductive traces and inner conductive traces.

[0060] For example, a conductive portion is provided on the PCB board, and the conductive portion is provided on the surface of the PCB board for soldering to the cable Q. The pin 117 is electrically connected to the conductive portion via a surface conductive trace or an inner conductive trace of the PCB board, so that the pin 117 can be electrically connected to the cable Q via the conductive trace and the conductive portion.

[0061] When pin 117 is electrically connected to the conductive portion via an inner conductive trace, a first conductive via and a second conductive via need to be provided on the printed circuit board. The first and second conductive vias extend along the thickness of the printed circuit board and are respectively electrically connected to the inner conductive trace. Pin 117 is electrically connected to the first conductive via, and the conductive portion is electrically connected to the second conductive via, so that pin 117 can be electrically connected to cable Q via the inner conductive trace and the conductive portion.

[0062] Taking the electronic device 300 as a switch or server as an example, with the development of switches and servers, especially the widespread application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, signals are required to have a higher transmission rate (for example, the transmission rate of signals between chips and PCB boards, and the transmission rate of signals between PCB boards).

[0063] For example, signal transmission rates need to be developed towards 112G (Gigabit), 224G, or even higher. Connector 100, as a high-speed interconnect, typically uses a PCB as a substrate, with pins 117 electrically connected to cable Q via the PCB. This leads to technical issues such as high insertion loss and low communication rates in connector 100.

[0064] For example, when pin 117 is electrically connected to cable Q via a surface conductive trace on the PCB, signal transmission along the surface conductive trace generates losses. When pin 117 is electrically connected to cable Q via an inner conductive trace on the PCB, signal transmission along the inner conductive trace and through the conductive vias (including the first and second conductive vias) generates losses. This results in a high insertion loss of connector 100, affecting the signal transmission rate.

[0065] In some cases, M8-level PCB materials can be used to reduce the insertion loss of connector 100 and increase the signal transmission rate. However, connector 100 for PCIe 5.0 high-speed links already uses M8-level PCB materials. When upgrading, higher-level PCB materials will not be available, which limits the development of signal transmission rates to 112G, 224G, or even higher transmission rates.

[0066] Figure 4 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a connector provided in some embodiments of the present application. Figure 5 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a connector provided in other embodiments of the present application. Figure 6 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a connector provided in still other embodiments of the present application. It can be understood that in order to clearly illustrate the structure of the accompanying drawings, the support portion 116 is not shown in Figures 10 and 11.

[0067] Based on this, embodiments of the present application provide a connector 100 for reducing insertion loss and improving signal transmission rate. The connector 100 provided in some embodiments of the present application will be described below with reference to FIG4 to FIG11 .

[0068] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the connector 100 may include at least one sub-connection structure 110. In some examples, the connector 100 may include one sub-connection structure 110. In other examples, as shown in Figures 6 and 7, the connector 100 may also include two sub-connection structures 110. In this case, the two sub-connection structures 110 may be spaced apart along a third direction Z. It is understood that the third direction Z intersects with the plane in which the first direction X and the second direction Y lie. For example, the third direction Z is perpendicular to the plane in which the first direction X and the second direction Y lie.

[0069] For example, as shown in FIG. 4 to FIG. 7 , the sub-connection structure 110 may include a first insulating portion 111 and a plurality of pins 117 .

[0070] It is understood that the first insulating portion 111 can provide both insulation and shielding. In some examples, the material of the first insulating portion 111 can include at least one of a polymer material such as rubber, resin, or polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The embodiments of the present application do not further limit the material of the first insulating portion 111.

[0071] In some examples, as shown in FIG8 , the first insulating portion 111 may be a flat layered structure. The first insulating portion 111 has a first side P1 and a second side P2 that are oppositely disposed along a third direction Z. That is, the first side P1 and the second side P2 are opposite sides of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z.

[0072] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the plurality of pins 117 extend along a first direction X and are spaced apart along a second direction Y. It is understood that, in the second direction Y, the distance between the centerline of one pin 117 and the centerline of another pin 117 adjacent to it is the distance between two adjacent pins 117 along the second direction Y. When the connector 100 is mated with different models of female connectors 201, the distance between two adjacent pins 117 along the second direction Y can be adapted to differ.

[0073] For example, when the connector 100 is plugged into a UBC (Union Bus Connector, Chinese name: Unified Bus Connector)-DD model female connector 201, the distance between two adjacent pins 117 along the second direction Y can be 0.6 mm (unit: millimeter). When the connector 100 is plugged into a QSFP (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable, Chinese name: Four-channel small-size pluggable optical module)-DD model female connector 201, the distance between two adjacent pins 117 along the second direction Y can be 0.8 mm. It can be understood that the distance between two adjacent pins 117 along the second direction Y can also be other values, and the embodiments of the present application do not further limit the distance between two adjacent pins 117 along the second direction Y.

[0074] In some examples, some of the plurality of pins 117 may be disposed on the first side P1 of the first insulating portion 111, and another portion of the pins 117 may be disposed on the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111. In some examples, at least one pin 117 of the plurality of pins 117 may be disposed on both the first side P1 and the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111.

[0075] It can be understood that the first insulating portion 111 includes a first surface and a second surface oppositely disposed along the third direction Z. The first side P1 of the first insulating portion 111 is close to the first surface of the first insulating portion 111 , and the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 is close to the second surface of the first insulating portion 111 .

[0076] When the pin 117 is arranged on the first side P1 of the first insulating part 111 along the third direction Z, the pin 117 is close to the first surface of the first insulating part 111. At this time, the pin 117 can fit together with the first surface of the first insulating part 111, so that the first insulating part 111 can support the pin 117; or, there can be a gap between the pin 117 and the first surface of the first insulating part 111. When the pin 117 is arranged on the second side P2 of the first insulating part 111 along the third direction Z, the pin 117 is close to the second surface of the first insulating part 111. At this time, the pin 117 can fit together with the second surface of the first insulating part 111, so that the first insulating part 111 can support the pin 117; or, there can be a gap between the pin 117 and the second surface of the first insulating part 111.

[0077] 4 and 5 , the plurality of pins 117 may include a plurality of signal pins 112, that is, the sub-connection structure 110 may include a plurality of signal pins 112. For example, the sub-connection structure 110 may further include other pins, such as an isolation pin 113 and a control pin (not shown).

[0078] It can be understood that the signal pin 112 can be used to transmit high-speed signals, such as high-speed differential signals, Ethernet signals, and IB (full name: InfiniBand network) network signals. Alternatively, the signal pin 112 can also be used to transmit low-speed signals. The types of signals transmitted by multiple signal pins 112 can be the same or different. The embodiments of the present application do not further limit the types of signals transmitted by the signal pin 112. The isolation pin 113 is used to isolate the signal pin 112 to reduce crosstalk during signal transmission. The control pin is used to control the transmission of the signal.

[0079] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the plurality of signal pins 112 may extend along a first direction X and be spaced apart along a second direction Y. The plurality of signal pins 112 may include a first signal pin 1121 and a second signal pin 1122. It is understood that the number of first signal pins 1121 may be plural, and the number of second signal pins 1122 may also be plural. The number of first signal pins 1121 and the number of second signal pins 1122 may be the same or different.

[0080] For example, as shown in Figures 4 and 5, taking the signal pins 112 used to transmit high-speed differential signals as an example, two first signal pins 1121 adjacent along the second direction Y can form a first differential signal pin group 118, and two second signal pins 1122 adjacent along the second direction Y can form a second differential signal pin group 119. The sub-connection structure 110 can include multiple first differential signal pin groups 118 and multiple second differential signal pin groups 119. The multiple first differential signal pin groups 118 can be arranged at intervals along the second direction Y, and the multiple second differential signal pin groups 119 can be arranged at intervals along the second direction Y.

[0081] It can be understood that in order to clearly show the structures such as the first insulating part 111 and the signal pin 112, the drawings in the specification of this application (for example, Figures 4 to 7) only show one first differential signal pin group 118 and one second differential signal pin group 119, and do not further limit the number of the first differential signal pin group 118 and the second differential signal pin group 119.

[0082] In some examples, as shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 , the first signal pin 1121 is disposed on the first side P1 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z.

[0083] It can be understood that the first signal pin 1121 is close to the first surface of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z. In some examples, as shown in Figures 4 and 5, the first signal pin 1121 includes a first main portion 1121a and a first connecting portion 1121b. The first connecting portion 1121b is connected to one end of the first main portion 1121a along the first direction X (for example, the end close to the cable Q along the first direction X). The first connecting portion 1121b is used to connect to the cable Q. As shown in Figure 6, the first main portion 1121a can extend along the first direction X.

[0084] In some examples, the first signal pins 1121 may be an integrally formed structure to improve the connection reliability between the first main portion 1121a and the first connecting portion 1121b. In some examples, the first connecting portions 1121b of the plurality of first signal pins 1121 may be arranged in a straight line in the second direction Y.

[0085] For example, the first connecting portion 1121b can be connected to the cable Q by welding. In some examples, as shown in FIG6 , the first connecting portion 1121b can be bent and extended along the third direction Z away from the first insulating portion 111 to improve the convenience of connecting the cable Q to the first connecting portion 1121b. In some examples, the cable Q can be electrically connected to the first connecting portion 1121b of the first signal pin 1121 in a one-to-one correspondence.

[0086] It can be understood that the first signal pin 1121 is provided to include a first connecting portion 1121b, which is used to connect to the cable Q, so that the first signal pin 1121 can be directly connected to the cable Q without being electrically connected to the cable Q through the PCB board, thereby avoiding the loss of signal transmission caused by the PCB board, reducing the insertion loss of the connector 100, reducing the loss within a unit distance (for example, 1 inch) during signal transmission, and improving the signal transmission rate.

[0087] 6 and 7 , the second signal pin 1122 includes a second main portion 1122b, a third main portion 1122c, and a second connecting portion 1122a. The second main portion 1122b and the third main portion 1122c are arranged along the first direction X, and the second main portion 1122b is electrically connected to the third main portion 1122c.

[0088] The second main portion 1122b is disposed on the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, and the third main portion 1122c is disposed on the first side P1 or the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z. In the first direction X, the third main portion 1122c is disposed at an end of the first main portion 1121a distal from the first connecting portion 1121b. The second connecting portion 1122a is connected to an end of the second main portion 1122b distal from the third main portion 1122c along the first direction X. The second connecting portion 1122a is configured to connect to the cable Q.

[0089] It can be understood that the second body portion 1122b can extend along the first direction X, and the third body portion 1122c can extend along the first direction X. Along the first direction X, the first body portion 1121a, the second body portion 1122b, and the third body portion 1122c can extend to the same or different lengths.

[0090] It can be understood that the second body portion 1122b is close to the second surface of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, and the third body portion 1122c is close to the first surface or the second surface of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z.

[0091] For example, as shown in Figures 6 and 7, when the third body portion 1122c is disposed on the first side P1 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, the third body portion 1122c and the second body portion 1122b are disposed on both sides of the first insulating portion 111. In this case, the length of the second signal pin 1122 in the first direction X is less than or equal to the length of the first insulating portion 111 along the first direction X. The third body portion 1122c and the second body portion 1122b can be electrically connected via other components (e.g., the fourth body portion 1122d).

[0092] When the third main body portion 1122c is arranged on the first side P1 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, the surface of the third main body portion 1122c away from the first insulating portion 111 can be flush or approximately flush with the surface of the first main body portion 1121a away from the first insulating portion 111, so as to improve the structural regularity of the connector 100.

[0093] For example, as shown in FIG9 , when the third main body portion 1122c is disposed on the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, the third main body portion 1122c and the second main body portion 1122b are disposed on the same side of the first insulating portion 111. In this case, the length of the second signal pin 1122 in the first direction X is greater than the length of the first insulating portion 111 along the first direction X. The third main body portion 1122c and the second main body portion 1122b can be directly electrically connected. As shown in FIG5 and FIG6 , the second connecting portion 1122a is disposed on the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, and the second connecting portion 1122a is connected to an end of the second main body portion 1122b that is away from the third main body portion 1122c along the first direction X. In some examples, the second connecting portions 1122a of the plurality of second signal pins 1122 can form a straight line in the second direction Y.

[0094] For example, the second connection portion 1122a can be connected to the cable Q by welding. In some examples, as shown in FIG7 , the second connection portion 1122a can be bent and extended along the third direction Z away from the first insulating portion 111 to improve the convenience of connecting the cable Q to the second connection portion 1122a. In some examples, the cable Q can be electrically connected to the second connection portion 1122a of the second signal pin 1122 in a one-to-one correspondence.

[0095] In some examples, the second signal pin 1122 may be an integrally formed structure to improve the connection reliability between the second main body portion 1122b, the third main body portion 1122c, and the second connecting portion 1122a.

[0096] It can be understood that the second signal pin 1122 is provided to include a second connecting portion 1122a, and the second connecting portion 1122a is used to connect to the cable Q, so that the second signal pin 1122 can be directly connected to the cable Q without being electrically connected to the cable Q through the PCB board, thereby avoiding the loss of signal transmission caused by the PCB board, reducing the insertion loss of the connector 100, reducing the loss within a unit distance (for example, 1 inch) during signal transmission, and improving the signal transmission rate.

[0097] In the embodiment of the present application, the first signal pin 1121 includes a first connecting portion 1121b, which is used to connect to the cable Q, so that the cable Q and the first signal pin 1121 can be directly electrically connected. The second signal pin 1122 includes a second connecting portion 1122a, which is used to connect to the cable Q, so that the cable Q and the second signal pin 1122 can be directly electrically connected.

[0098] In this way, the electrical connection between the cable Q and the signal pin 112 (including the first signal pin 1121 and the second signal pin 1122) does not need to pass through the PCB board, thereby avoiding the signal loss caused by transmission on the conductive traces and conductive vias of the PCB board, reducing the insertion loss of the connector 100, reducing the loss per unit distance (for example, 1 inch) during signal transmission, and improving the signal transmission rate.

[0099] Furthermore, in the first direction X, the third body portion 1122c is disposed at the end of the first body portion 1121a away from the first connecting portion 1121b, enabling a dual-row pinout for connector 100. This improves the pin density of connector 100 and facilitates its miniaturization. The third body portion 1122c is disposed on either the first side P1 or the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, increasing the flexibility of connector 100's pinout configuration to meet diverse usage requirements. This arrangement, in other words, enables a connector 100 with low loss, high speed, high pin density, and a compact design.

[0100] In some examples, the above configuration can reduce insertion loss by 0.5 dB to 1 dB per unit length (eg, 1 inch) compared to the related art using a PCB as the substrate of the connector 100 .

[0101] In some examples, as shown in Figures 5 and 6, when the third main body 1122c is arranged on the first side P1 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, the first insulating portion 111 includes a first sub-insulating portion 1111 and a second sub-insulating portion 1112 connected in sequence along the first direction X (see Figure 8).

[0102] It is understood that the first sub-insulating portion 1111 and the second sub-insulating portion 1112 can be directly connected; alternatively, other structures (such as the third sub-insulating portion 1113) can be provided between the first sub-insulating portion 1111 and the second sub-insulating portion 1112, and the first sub-insulating portion 1111 and the second sub-insulating portion 1112 can be connected to the other structures (such as the third sub-insulating portion 1113). For example, the first insulating portion 111 can be an integrally formed structure to improve the connection reliability between the first sub-insulating portion 1111 and the second sub-insulating portion 1112.

[0103] It can be understood that the first side P1 of the first insulating part 111 is the first side P1 of the first sub-insulating part 1111 and the first side P1 of the second sub-insulating part 1112, and the second side P2 of the first insulating part 111 is the second side P2 of the first sub-insulating part 1111 and the second side P2 of the second sub-insulating part 1112.

[0104] For example, as shown in Figures 5 and 6, the first main body portion 1121a is disposed on the first side P1 of the first sub-insulating portion 1111 along the third direction Z, and the first connecting portion 1121b is connected to an end of the first main body portion 1121a away from the second sub-insulating portion 1112. The second main body portion 1122b is disposed on the second side P2 of the first sub-insulating portion 1111 along the third direction Z, and the third main body portion 1122c is disposed on the first side P1 of the second sub-insulating portion 1112 along the third direction Z.

[0105] It can be understood that the first main body portion 1121a is arranged on the first side P1 of the first sub-insulating portion 1111 along the third direction Z, and the second main body portion 1122b is arranged on the second side P2 of the first sub-insulating portion 1111 along the third direction Z, so that the second main body portion 1122b and the first main body portion 1121a can be arranged on opposite sides of the first sub-insulating portion 1111 along the third direction Z, so that the first insulating portion 111 (first sub-insulating portion 1111) can play a role in insulating and shielding the first main body portion 1121a and the second main body portion 1122b, reducing the risk of short circuit between the first main body portion 1121a and the second main body portion 1122b, and improving the reliability of the connector 100.

[0106] The third main body portion 1122c is arranged on the first side P1 of the second sub-insulating portion 1112 along the third direction Z, so that in the first direction X, the third main body portion 1122c can be arranged at an end of the first main body portion 1121a away from the first connecting portion 1121b, thereby enabling the connector 100 to achieve a double-row pin arrangement, thereby improving the pin density of the connector 100 and facilitating the miniaturization of the connector 100.

[0107] In addition, the first connecting portion 1121b is connected to one end of the first main body portion 1121a away from the second sub-insulating portion 1112, and the second connecting portion 1122a is connected to one end of the second main body portion 1122b away from the third main body portion 1122c, so that the first connecting portion 1122b and the second connecting portion 1122a can be arranged on opposite sides of the first sub-insulating portion 1111 along the third direction Z, thereby improving the structural regularity of the connector 100.

[0108] In some examples, as shown in FIG8 , the first insulating portion 111 further includes a third sub-insulating portion 1113. The first sub-insulating portion 1111 and the second sub-insulating portion 1112 are disposed on either side of the third sub-insulating portion 1113 along the first direction X, and the first sub-insulating portion 1111 and the second sub-insulating portion 1112 are respectively connected to the third sub-insulating portion 1113. The third sub-insulating portion 1113 is defined with an opening G that extends through the third sub-insulating portion 1113 along its thickness direction (i.e., the third direction Z).

[0109] It can be understood that the third sub-insulating portion 1113 is disposed between the first sub-insulating portion 1111 and the second sub-insulating portion 1112 along the first direction X. The first insulating portion 111 may be an integrally formed structure to improve the connection reliability among the first sub-insulating portion 1111, the second sub-insulating portion 1112, and the third sub-insulating portion 1113.

[0110] For example, the opening G on the third sub-insulating portion 1113 may be a square opening, a rectangular opening, a circular opening, or an opening of other irregular shapes. In some examples, the third sub-insulating portion 1113 may include two rod-shaped structures extending along the first direction X, with one end of each rod-shaped structure connected to the first sub-insulating portion 1111 and the other end connected to the second sub-insulating portion 1112, thereby enclosing the opening G.

[0111] In some examples, as shown in Figure 7, the second signal pin 1122 may also include a fourth main body portion 1122d, which is passed through the opening G of the third sub-insulating portion 1113, and one end of the fourth main body portion 1122d is connected to an end of the second main body portion 1122b close to the opening G along the first direction X, and the other end of the fourth main body portion 1122d is connected to an end of the third main body portion 1122c close to the opening G along the first direction X.

[0112] It can be understood that one end of the fourth main body portion 1122d can be disposed on the second side P2 of the first sub-insulating portion 1111 along the third direction Z, so that one end of the fourth main body portion 1122d can be connected to one end of the second main body portion 1122b along the first direction X, close to the opening G. The fourth main body portion 1122d is disposed through the opening G of the third sub-insulating portion 1113, so that the other end of the fourth main body portion 1122d (the end away from the second main body portion 1122b) can be disposed on the first side P1 of the second sub-insulating portion 1112 along the third direction Z, so that the other end of the fourth main body portion 1122d can be connected to one end of the third main body portion 1122c along the first direction X, close to the opening G.

[0113] In some examples, the second signal pin 1122 may be an integrally formed structure to improve connection reliability among the second connecting portion 1122a, the second main body portion 1122b, the third main body portion 1122c, and the fourth main body portion 1122d.

[0114] By opening an opening G on the third sub-insulating portion 1113, the fourth main body portion 1122d is passed through the opening G, so that the fourth main body portion 1122d can electrically connect the third main body portion 1122c arranged on the first side P1 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, and the second main body portion 1122b arranged on the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, so that the second signal pin 112 can be arranged on the first side P1 and the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z. There is no need to use conductive vias (such as the first conductive via or the second conductive via) of the PCB board to achieve electrical connection between the second main body portion 1122b and the third main body portion 1122c, thereby avoiding the loss of signals transmitted on the conductive vias of the PCB board, reducing the insertion loss of signals, and improving the signal efficiency of the connector 100.

[0115] In some examples, as shown in FIG. 9 , when the third body portion 1122 c is located at the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, the third body portion 1122 c protrudes from the first body portion 1121 a in the first direction X.

[0116] For example, the length of the second signal pin 1122 along the first direction X can be greater than the length of the first signal pin 1121 along the first direction X, so that the third body portion 1122c protrudes from the first body portion 1121a in the first direction X. In some examples, the length of the first insulating portion 111 along the first direction X can be the same as the length of the first signal pin 1121 along the first direction X.

[0117] Such an arrangement enables the first signal pin 1121 and the second signal pin 1122 to be stepped in the first direction X, so as to reduce the mutual influence between the first signal pin 1121 and the second signal pin 1122 when they are electrically connected to the spring of the female connector 201 .

[0118] In some examples, as shown in FIG4 , the sub-connection structure 110 may further include an isolation pin 113 . For example, there may be a plurality of isolation pins 113 . The number of isolation pins 113 may be the same as or different from the number of signal pins 112 .

[0119] It can be understood that the isolation pin 113 can isolate crosstalk to reduce mutual interference between the signal pins 112 (between two first signal pins 1121 , between two second signal pins 1122 , or between the first signal pin 1121 and the second signal pin 1122 ).

[0120] 4 and 6 , the isolation pins 113 include at least two first isolation pins 1131 and at least two second isolation pins 1132. It is understandable that the number of the first isolation pins 1131 and the number of the second isolation pins 1132 may be the same or different.

[0121] For example, as shown in FIG. 4 to FIG. 6 , the first isolation pin 1131 is disposed on the first side P1 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, and along the second direction Y, at least two first isolation pins 1131 are disposed on both sides of the first signal pin 1121 .

[0122] It can be understood that the first isolation pin 1131 is disposed on the first side P1 of the first sub-insulation portion 1111 along the third direction Z. That is, the first isolation pin 1131 and the first main body 1121a can be disposed on the same side of the first insulation portion 111 along the third direction Z.

[0123] As shown in Figures 4 to 6 , at least two first isolation pins 1131 are disposed on either side of the first signal pin 1121 along the second direction Y. These at least two first isolation pins 1131 can isolate the first signal pin 1121 from the other signal pins. For example, the at least two first isolation pins 1131 can isolate the first signal pin 1121 from the second signal pin 1122; alternatively, the at least two first isolation pins 1131 can isolate the first signal pin 1121 from the other first signal pins 1121. This reduces mutual interference during signal transmission and improves the reliability of the connector 100.

[0124] In some examples, taking the example of first signal pins 1121 transmitting high-speed differential signals and two first signal pins 1121 forming a first differential signal pin group 118, one first isolation pin 1131 is disposed on one side of the first differential signal pin group 118 along the second direction Y, and another first isolation pin 1131 is disposed on the other side of the first differential signal pin group 118 along the second direction Y. As shown in Figures 4, 5, and 10, two first differential signal pin groups 118 adjacent along the second direction Y may not share a first isolation pin 1131. In other words, two first differential signal pin groups 118 adjacent along the second direction Y may be provided with two first isolation pins 1131. Alternatively, as shown in Figure 11, two first differential signal pin groups 118 adjacent along the second direction Y may share a single first isolation pin 1131. In this case, one first isolation pin 1131 is provided between two first differential signal pin groups 118 adjacent along the second direction Y.

[0125] In some examples, the length of the first isolation pin 1131 along the first direction X is greater than or equal to the length of the first signal pin 1121 along the first direction X, so as to improve the isolation effect of the first isolation pin 1131 and reduce signal interference.

[0126] In some examples, as shown in Figures 4 and 6 , the first isolation pin 1131 may include a third connection portion 1131b (see Figures 10 and 11 ) and a fifth main portion 1131a. The fifth main portion 1131a may extend along the first direction X. The third connection portion 1131b may be disposed at one end of the fifth main portion 1131a along the first direction X and connected to the fifth main portion 1131a. The third connection portion 1131b may be used to connect to (e.g., weld) a cable Q, so that the first isolation pin 1131 can be grounded through the cable Q.

[0127] In some examples, the first isolation pin 1131 can be an integrally formed structure to improve the connection reliability between the third connection portion 1131b and the fifth main body 1131a. For example, the cable Q can be electrically connected to the third connection portion 1131b of the first isolation pin 1131 in a one-to-one correspondence.

[0128] In some examples, at least two second isolation pins 1132 are located on either side of the second signal pin 1122 along the second direction Y. It will be appreciated that when the second signal pin 1122 is located on the first side P1 and the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, the second isolation pin 1132 is located on the first side P1 and the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z. When the second signal pin 1122 is located on the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, the second isolation pin 1132 is located on the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z. Specifically, as shown in Figures 4 and 5, the second isolation pin 1132 may include a sixth main portion 1132a and a seventh main portion 1132b.

[0129] As shown in Figure 5, the sixth main body portion 1132a extends along the first direction X, and the sixth main body portion 1132a can be arranged on the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 (first sub-insulating portion 1111) along the third direction Z, so that the sixth main body portion 1132a and the second main body portion 1122b can be arranged on the same side of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z.

[0130] Along the second direction Y, the sixth body portions 1132a of at least two second isolation pins 1132 are disposed on either side of the second body portion 1122b of the second signal pin 1122, so that the sixth body portions 1132a of the at least two second isolation pins 1132 can isolate the second body portion 1122b of the second signal pin 1122 from other signal pins. For example, the at least two second isolation pins 1132 (sixth body portions 1132a) can isolate the second signal pin 1122 (second body portion 1122b) from the first signal pin 1121; alternatively, the at least two second signal pins 1132 (sixth body portions 1132a) can isolate the second signal pin 1122 (second body portion 1122b) from other second signal pins 1122. This reduces mutual interference during signal transmission and improves the reliability of the connector 100.

[0131] In some examples, the length of the sixth body portion 1132a along the first direction X is greater than or equal to the length of the second body portion 1122b along the first direction X, so as to improve the isolation effect of the sixth body portion 1132a and reduce signal interference.

[0132] For example, the seventh main body portion 1132b may extend along the first direction X, and the seventh main body portion 1132b and the third main body portion 1122c may be disposed on the same side of the first insulating portion 111 (the second sub-insulating portion 1112) along the third direction Z. For example, when the third main body portion 1122c is disposed on the first side P1 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, the seventh main body portion 1132b may be disposed on the first side P1 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z. When the third main body portion 1122c is disposed on the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, the seventh main body portion 1132b may be disposed on the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z.

[0133] As shown in FIG6 , along the second direction Y, the seventh body portions 1132b of at least two second isolation pins 1132 are disposed on either side of the third body portion 1122c of the second signal pin 1122. This allows the seventh body portions 1132b of the at least two second isolation pins 1132 to isolate the third body portion 1122c of the second signal pin 1122 from other signal pins. For example, the at least two second isolation pins 1132 (the seventh body portions 1132b) can isolate the second signal pin 1122 (the third body portion 1122c) from the first signal pin 1121; alternatively, the at least two second signal pins 1132 (the seventh body portions 1132b) can isolate the second signal pin 1122 (the third body portion 1122c) from other second signal pins 1122. This reduces mutual interference during signal transmission and improves the reliability of the connector 100.

[0134] In some examples, the length of the seventh body portion 1132b along the first direction X is greater than or equal to the length of the third body portion 1122c along the first direction X, so as to improve the isolation effect of the seventh body portion 1132b and reduce signal interference.

[0135] In some examples, the second isolation pin 1132 can include a fourth connection portion 1132c (see Figures 10 and 11). The fourth connection portion 1132c can be disposed along the first direction X at an end of the sixth body portion 1132a away from the seventh body portion 1132b and connected to an end of the sixth body portion 1132a away from the seventh body portion 1132b. The fourth connection portion 1132c can be used to connect to the cable Q (e.g., by welding), so that the sixth body portion 1132a can be grounded through the cable Q. For example, the cable Q can be electrically connected to the fourth connection portion 1132c of the second isolation pin 1132 in a one-to-one correspondence.

[0136] For example, when the sixth body portion 1132a and the seventh body portion 1132b are located on the same side of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z (that is, when the sixth body portion 1132a and the seventh body portion 1132b are both located on the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z), the sixth body portion 1132a can be directly electrically connected to the seventh body portion 1132b. In this way, by grounding the sixth body portion 1132a through the cable Q, the seventh body portion 1132b can also be grounded. In this case, the sixth body portion 1132a and the seventh body portion 1132b can be an integrally formed structure to improve the connection reliability of the sixth body portion 1132a and the seventh body portion 1132b.

[0137] For example, when the sixth main body portion 1132a and the seventh main body portion 1132b are located on opposite sides of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z (that is, when the sixth main body portion 1132a is located on the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, and the seventh main body portion 1132b is located on the first side P1 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z), the sixth main body portion 1132a is grounded through the cable Q, and the sixth main body portion 1132a and the seventh main body portion 1132b can be electrically connected through a conductive structure, so that the seventh main body portion 1132b can be grounded.

[0138] It can be understood that the conductive structure can pass through the opening located on the third sub-insulating part 1113 to connect the sixth main body part 1132a and the seventh main body part 1132b, and the conductive structure can also be enclosed in the first insulating part 111 and electrically connect the sixth main body part 1132a and the seventh main body part 1132b.

[0139] Alternatively, when the sixth main body portion 1132a and the seventh main body portion 1132b are located on opposite sides of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z (that is, when the sixth main body portion 1132a is located on the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, and the seventh main body portion 1132b is located on the first side P1 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z), the sixth main body portion 1132a is grounded through the cable Q, and the seventh main body portion 1132b can be electrically connected to other grounding components (for example, the first isolation portion 115) so that the seventh main body portion 1132b can be grounded.

[0140] In some examples, taking the example of the second signal pins 1122 transmitting high-speed differential signals and two second signal pins 1122 forming the second differential signal pin group 119, the sixth body portion 1132a of one second isolation pin 1132 can be disposed along the second direction Y on one side of the second differential signal pin group 119, while the sixth body portion 1132a of the other second isolation pin 1132 can be disposed along the second direction Y on the other side of the second differential signal pin group 119. Furthermore, the seventh body portion 1132b of one second isolation pin 1132 can be disposed along the second direction Y on one side of the second differential signal pin group 119, while the seventh body portion 1132b of the other second isolation pin 1132 can be disposed along the second direction Y on the other side of the second differential signal pin group 119.

[0141] For example, as shown in Figures 4, 6, and 10, two second differential signal pin groups 119 adjacent along the second direction Y may not share the second isolation pin 1132. That is, two second isolation pins 1132 are provided between two second differential signal pin groups 119 adjacent along the second direction Y. Alternatively, as shown in Figure 11, two second differential signal pin groups 119 adjacent along the second direction Y may share the same second isolation pin 1132. In this case, one second isolation pin 1132 is provided between two second differential signal pin groups 119 adjacent along the second direction Y.

[0142] 4 and 6 , the sub-connection structure 110 further includes a plurality of isolation connectors 114, including a first isolation connector 1141 and a second isolation connector 1142. It is understood that the number of first isolation connectors 1141 and the number of second isolation connectors 1142 may be the same or different.

[0143] As shown in FIG7 , the first isolation connector 1141 is disposed on a first side P1 of the first sub-insulating portion 1111 along the third direction Z. The first isolation connector 1141 is electrically connected to ends of at least two first isolation pins 1131 away from the first connecting portion 1121 b along the first direction X. For example, the first isolation connector 1141 is electrically connected to ends of at least two first isolation pins 1131 disposed on both sides of the first signal pin 1121 along the second direction Y, away from the first connecting portion 1121 b along the first direction X.

[0144] It can be understood that the first isolation connector 1141 is arranged on the first side P1 of the first sub-insulating portion 1111 along the third direction Z, so that the first isolation connector 1141, the first main body 1121a and the first isolation pin 1131 can be arranged on the same side of the first sub-insulating portion 1111 along the third direction Z.

[0145] For example, the first isolating connector 1141 may be in contact with the first surface of the first insulating portion 111 (first sub-insulating portion 1111), so that the first insulating portion 111 can support the first isolating connector 1141. Alternatively, a gap may exist between the first isolating connector 1141 and the first surface of the first insulating portion 111 (first sub-insulating portion 1111).

[0146] For example, as shown in Figures 4 and 6 , the first isolation connector 1141 can extend along the second direction Y. The first isolation connector 1141 is disposed at an end of the fifth body portion 1131a of the first isolation pin 1131 that is distal from the third connection portion. This allows the first isolation connector 1141 to be electrically connected to ends of at least two first isolation pins 1131 located on either side of the first signal pin 1121 along the second direction Y, distal from the first connection portion 1121b (the third connection portion) along the first direction X.

[0147] It can be understood that at least two first isolation pins 1131 are located on both sides of the first signal pin 1121 along the second direction Y, and the first isolation connector 1141 is electrically connected to the ends of the at least two first isolation pins 1131 away from the first connection portion 1121b along the first direction X, so that the at least two first isolation pins 1131 and the first isolation connector 1141 can surround the first signal pin 1121 to isolate the first signal pin 1121 and reduce mutual interference of signals during transmission.

[0148] For example, as shown in FIG4 , when the first signal pin 1121 transmits a high-speed differential signal and two first signal pins 1121 form a first differential signal pin group 118 , the first isolation pin 1131 and the first isolation connector 1141 can surround the first differential signal pin group 118 .

[0149] It can be understood that, as shown in Figures 4 to 6, when the third main body portion 1122c is arranged on the first side P1 of the second sub-insulating portion 1112 along the third direction Z, the fourth main body portion 1122d is passed through the opening G, and one end of the fourth main body portion 1122d is connected to an end of the second main body portion 1122b close to the opening G along the first direction X, and the other end of the fourth main body portion 1122d is connected to an end of the third main body portion 1122c close to the opening G along the first direction X.

[0150] At this time, the first isolation connector 114 is electrically connected to the ends of at least two first isolation pins 1131 located on both sides of the first signal pin 1121 along the second direction Y and away from the first connection portion 1121b along the first direction X, so that the first isolation connector 114 can isolate the first signal pin 1121 and the fourth main body portion 1122d (the fourth main body portion 1122d is arranged on the first side P1 of the second sub-insulating portion 1112 along the third direction Z), thereby reducing mutual interference between the first signal pin 1121 and the second signal pin 1122.

[0151] In some examples, the second isolating connector 1142 and the third main body 1122c are disposed on the same side of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z. That is, as shown in FIG4 and FIG6 , when the third main body 1122c is disposed on the first side P1 of the second sub-insulating portion 1112 along the third direction Z, the second isolating connector 1142 is disposed on the first side P1 of the second sub-insulating portion 1112 along the third direction Z. When the third main body 1122c is disposed on the second side P2 of the second sub-insulating portion 1112 along the third direction Z (see FIG9 ), the second isolating connector 1142 is disposed on the second side P2 of the second sub-insulating portion 1112 along the third direction Z.

[0152] When the second isolating connector 1142 is disposed on the first side P1 of the second sub-insulating portion 1112 along the third direction Z, the second isolating connector 1142 may be aligned with the first surface of the first insulating portion 111 (second sub-insulating portion 1112), allowing the first insulating portion 111 to support the second isolating connector 1142. A gap may also exist between the second isolating connector 1142 and the first surface of the first insulating portion 111 (second sub-insulating portion 1112). When the second isolating connector 1142 is disposed on the second side P2 of the second sub-insulating portion 1112 along the third direction Z, the second isolating connector 1142 may be aligned with the second surface of the first insulating portion 111 (second sub-insulating portion 1112), allowing the first insulating portion 111 to support the second isolating connector 1142. A gap may also exist between the second isolating connector 1142 and the second surface of the first insulating portion 111 (second sub-insulating portion 1112).

[0153] In some examples, the second isolation connector 1142 can extend along the second direction Y. The second isolation connector 1142 and the third body portion 1122 c are disposed on the same side of the second sub-insulating portion 1112 along the third direction Z. The third body portion 1122 c and the seventh body portion 1132 b of the second isolation pin 1132 are disposed on the same side of the second sub-insulating portion 1112 along the third direction Z. This allows the second isolation connector 1142, the third body portion 1122 c, and the seventh body portion 1132 b of the second isolation pin 1132 to be disposed on the same side of the second sub-insulating portion 1112 along the third direction Z.

[0154] In some examples, as shown in Figures 4 and 6 , the second isolation connector 1142 is electrically connected to an end of the seventh body portion 1132b that is away from the sixth body portion 1132a along the first direction X. For example, the second isolation connector 1142 is electrically connected to ends of the seventh body portions 1132b of at least two second isolation pins 1132 located on both sides of the third body portion 1122c along the second direction Y that are away from the fourth connection portion 1132c along the first direction X.

[0155] It can be understood that the seventh main body portion 1132b of at least two second isolation pins 1132 is located on both sides of the third main body portion 1122c along the second direction Y, and the second isolation connector 1142 is electrically connected to one end of the seventh main body portion 1132b away from the sixth main body portion 1132a along the first direction X, so that at least two second isolation pins 1132 (seventh main body portion 1132b) and the second isolation connector 1142 can surround the second signal pin 1122 (third main body portion 1122c) to isolate the second signal pin 1122 and reduce mutual interference of signals during transmission.

[0156] For example, as shown in Figures 4 and 6, when the second signal pin 1122 transmits a high-speed differential signal and the two second signal pins 1122 form a second differential signal pin group 119, the second isolation pin 1132 and the second isolation connector 1142 can surround the second differential signal pin group 119.

[0157] In some examples, as shown in FIG7 , at least a portion of a surface of the isolation connector 114 (including the first isolation connector 1141 and the second isolation connector 1142 ) on a side away from the first insulating portion 111 is flush or approximately flush with a surface of the pin 117 (including the signal pin 112 and the isolation pin 113 ) on a side away from the first insulating portion 111 .

[0158] For example, when the first isolation connector 1141 and the second isolation connector 1142 are both arranged on the first side P1 of the first insulating part 111 along the third direction Z, as shown in Figure 6, at least a portion of the surface of the isolation connector 114 (including the first isolation connector 1141 and the second isolation connector 1142) on the side away from the first surface of the first insulating part 111 is flush or approximately flush with the surfaces of the first main body 1121a and the third main body 1122c on the side away from the first surface of the first insulating part 111.

[0159] When the first isolation connector 1141 is arranged on the first side P1 of the first insulating part 111 along the third direction Z and the second isolation connector 1142 is arranged on the second side P2 of the first insulating part 111 along the third direction Z, at least a portion of the surface of the first isolation connector 1141 on the side away from the first surface of the first insulating part 111 is flush or approximately flush with the surface of the first main body 1121a on the side away from the first surface of the first insulating part 111; at least a portion of the surface of the second isolation connector 1142 on the side away from the second surface of the first insulating part 111 is flush or approximately flush with the surfaces of the second main body 1122b and the third main body 1122c on the side away from the second surface of the first insulating part 111.

[0160] It can be understood that the isolation connector 114 (including the first isolation connector 1141 and the second isolation connector 1142) is arranged to be flush or approximately flush with the surface of the pin 117 (including the signal pin 112 and the isolation pin 113) on the side away from the first insulating part 111, which can reduce the risk of the pin 117 being scratched by the spring clip (or other structure) of the female connector 201 when the connector 100 is plugged into the female connector 201, thereby improving the reliability of the connector 100.

[0161] In some examples, the surface of the isolation connector 114 away from the first insulating portion 111 may be a curved surface.

[0162] In some examples, the first body portion 1121 a and the second body portion 1122 b are disposed opposite to each other along the third direction Z.

[0163] It can be understood that the first main body portion 1121a and the second main body portion 1122b are arranged relative to each other along the third direction Z, that is, the orthographic projection of the first main body portion 1121a on the first insulating portion 111 at least partially overlaps with the orthographic projection of the second main body portion 1122b on the first insulating portion 111.

[0164] It can be understood that the first main body portion 1121a and the second main body portion 1122b can be completely opposite to each other along the third direction Z, or the first main body portion 1121a and the second main body portion 1122b can be partially opposite to each other along the third direction Z.

[0165] 9 , the sub-connection structure 110 further includes a first isolation portion 115. The first insulating portion 111 covers the first isolation portion 115. The first isolation portion 115 is disposed along the third direction Z between the first main portion 1121a and the second main portion 1122b.

[0166] It can be understood that the first isolation part 115 can play an isolation role to reduce the mutual interference between the first main body part 1121a and the second main body part 1122b, that is, to reduce the mutual interference between the signal transmitted on the first signal pin 1121 and the signal transmitted on the second signal pin 1122.

[0167] It can be understood that the first isolation portion 115 can isolate the first signal pin 1121 (first main portion 1121a) from the second signal pin 1122 (second main portion 1122b) in the third direction Z. The isolation pin 113 and the isolation connector 114 can isolate the first signal pin 1121 from the second signal pin 1122 in the first direction X and the second direction Y. In this way, three-dimensional isolation of the signal pin 112 is achieved, reducing mutual interference during signal transmission and improving the reliability of the connector 100.

[0168] For example, the material of the first isolation portion 115 may include a conductive material, such as at least one of copper, gold, silver, or aluminum, etc. In some examples, the first isolation portion 115 may be grounded so that the first isolation portion 115 can function as an isolation portion.

[0169] In some examples, the length of the first isolation portion 115 along the first direction X is greater than or equal to the length of the first main portion 1121a and the second main portion 1122b along the first direction X to improve the isolation effect of the first isolation portion 115 on the first main portion 1121a and the second main portion 1122b.

[0170] In addition, a first insulating portion 111 is provided to cover the first isolation portion 115, so that the first insulating portion 111 can electrically isolate the first isolation portion 115 and the pin 117 (including the signal pin 112 and the isolation pin 113), thereby reducing the risk of short circuit between the first isolation portion 115 and the pin 117 and improving the reliability of the connector 100.

[0171] As can be seen from the above, in some examples, the first isolation pin 1131 may include a third connection portion 1131b, and the second isolation pin 1132 may include a fourth connection portion 1132c. The third connection portion 1131b and the fourth connection portion 1132c are used to connect to the cable Q, so that the first isolation pin 1131 and the second isolation pin 1132 can be grounded through the cable Q to play an isolation role.

[0172] In some other examples, the first isolation portion 115 is grounded. The isolation pin 113 may be electrically connected to the first isolation portion 115 .

[0173] It can be understood that the first isolation part 115 is grounded, and the isolation pin 113 (for example, the first isolation pin 1131 or the second isolation pin 1132) is electrically connected to the first isolation part 115, so that the first isolation pin 1131 and the second isolation pin 1132 can be grounded to play an isolation role.

[0174] For example, the isolation pin 113 may be electrically connected to the first isolation portion 115 by punching, so that the first isolation pin 1131 and the second isolation pin 1132 can be grounded.

[0175] In some examples, when the sixth main body portion 1132a and the seventh main body portion 1132b are located on opposite sides of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z (see Figures 6 and 7), the first isolation pin 1131 can be grounded through the cable Q, the sixth main body portion 1132a of the second isolation pin 1132 can be grounded through the cable Q, and the seventh main body portion 1132b of the second isolation pin 1132 can be electrically connected to the first isolation pin 1131 by punching, so that the second isolation pin 1132 can be grounded.

[0176] In some examples, as shown in FIG. 8 , the sub-connection structure 110 further includes a supporting portion 116 , and the supporting portion 116 is connected to the first insulating portion 111 .

[0177] It is understandable that the support portion 116 is connected to the first insulating portion 111 so that the support portion 116 can support the first insulating portion 111. In some examples, the support portion 116 and the first insulating portion 111 can be an integrally formed structure to improve the connection reliability between the support portion 116 and the first insulating portion 111.

[0178] In some examples, as shown in Figure 8, the support portion 116 and the first insulating portion 111 enclose a first groove D1 and a second groove D2, the first groove D1 is arranged on the first side P1 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, and the second groove D2 is arranged on the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z.

[0179] For example, the first groove D1 and the second groove D2 may be rectangular grooves. In some examples, the first groove D1 is provided on the first side P1 of the first sub-insulating portion 1111 along the third direction Z, and the second groove D2 is provided on the second side P2 of the first sub-insulating portion 1111 along the third direction Z.

[0180] In some examples, as shown in FIG8 , the support portion 116 may include two first sub-portions 1161 and two second sub-portions 1162. The two first sub-portions 1161 may be disposed on a first side P1 of the first sub-insulating portion 1111 along the third direction Z and spaced apart along the second direction Y to, together with the first sub-insulating portion 1111, define a first groove D1. The two second sub-portions 1162 may be disposed on a second side P2 of the first sub-insulating portion 1111 along the third direction Z and spaced apart along the second direction Y to, together with the first sub-insulating portion 1111, define a second groove D2. The depth of the first groove D1 and the depth of the second groove D2 along the third direction Z may be the same or different.

[0181] In some examples, the support portion 116 and the first insulating portion 111 may be an integrally formed structure to improve the connection reliability between the support portion 116 and the first insulating portion 111 .

[0182] As shown in FIG. 8 , at least a portion of the first connection portion 1121 b along the first direction X is disposed in the first groove D1 , and at least a portion of the second connection portion 1122 a along the first direction X is disposed in the second groove D2 .

[0183] It can be understood that at least a portion of the first connection portion 1121b along the first direction X is disposed within the first groove D1, and at least a portion of the second connection portion 1122a along the first direction X is disposed within the second groove D2, so that the first connection portion 1121b and the second connection portion 1122a can be disposed on both sides of the first sub-insulating portion 1111 along the third direction Z. In this way, the first sub-insulating portion 1111 of the first insulating portion 111 can shield and insulate the first connection portion 1121b and the second connection portion 1122a, reducing the risk of a short circuit between the first connection portion 1121b and the second connection portion 1122a.

[0184] In addition, the first insulating part 111 covers the first isolation part 115, so that the first isolation part 115 can be arranged between the first connection part 1121b and the second connection part 1122a along the third direction Z to isolate the first connection part 1121b and the second connection part 1122a, thereby reducing mutual interference of signals during transmission.

[0185] In addition, at least a portion of the first connection portion 1121b is disposed in the first groove D1, and at least a portion of the second connection portion 1122a is disposed in the second groove D2, which can further improve the regularity of the arrangement of the first signal pins 1121 and the second signal pins 1122.

[0186] In some examples, as shown in FIG. 10 , the first connection portion 1121 b and the second connection portion 1122 a are spaced apart along the first direction X.

[0187] In some examples, as shown in FIG10 , the plurality of first connection portions 1121 b may be arranged in a straight line in the second direction Y, and the plurality of second connection portions 1122 a may be arranged in a straight line in the second direction Y. The straight line formed by the plurality of first connection portions 1121 b in the second direction Y and the straight line formed by the plurality of second connection portions 1122 a in the second direction Y may be spaced apart along the first direction X.

[0188] It can be understood that the first connection part 1121b and the second connection part 1122a are arranged at intervals along the first direction X, which can reduce the mutual influence between the cable Q welded to the first connection part 1121b and the cable Q welded to the second connection part 1122a, and improve the convenience when welding the cable Q to the connector 100.

[0189] In some examples, referring again to Figures 6 and 7, the sub-connection structure 110 may include a first sub-connection structure 110a and a second sub-connection structure 110b. The first sub-connection structure 110a and the second sub-connection structure 110b are spaced apart along the third direction Z. The first sub-connection structure 110a and the second sub-connection structure 110b are connected, and the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 of the first sub-connection structure 110a is adjacent to the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 of the second sub-connection structure 110b.

[0190] For example, the support portion 116 of the first sub-connection structure 110a can be connected to the support portion 116 of the second sub-connection structure 110b. In some examples, the support portion 116 of the first sub-connection structure 110a and the support portion 116 of the second sub-connection structure 110b can be an integrally formed structure to improve the connection reliability between the first sub-connection structure 110a and the second sub-connection structure 110b.

[0191] As shown in Figure 6, the second side P2 of the first insulating part 111 of the first sub-connection structure 110a is close to the second side P2 of the first insulating part 111 of the second sub-connection structure 110b, that is, the first sub-connection structure 110a and the second sub-connection structure 110b can be mirror-symmetrical in the third direction Z.

[0192] It can be understood that the sub-connection structure 110 includes two rows of signal pins (the first main body 1121a and the third main body 1122c) arranged along the first direction X. On this basis, the connector 100 is provided to include two sub-connection structures 110 (the first sub-connection structure 110a and the second sub-connection structure 110b), so that the connector 100 can achieve double-sided double-row pins, thereby improving the pin density of the connector 100 and facilitating the miniaturization of the connector 100.

[0193] In some examples, as shown in Figure 6, the connector 100 may also include a second insulating portion 121, which is arranged between the first sub-connection structure 110a and the second sub-connection structure 110b along the third direction Z, and the second insulating portion 121 is connected to the first sub-connection structure 110a and the second sub-connection structure 110b.

[0194] It can be understood that the second insulating part 121 can electrically isolate the first sub-connection structure 110a and the second sub-connection structure 110b, reducing the risk of short circuit between the pin 117 (for example, the signal pin 112 or the isolation pin 113) in the first sub-connection structure 110a and the pin 117 (for example, the signal pin 112 or the isolation pin 113) in the second sub-connection structure 110b, thereby improving the reliability of the connector 100.

[0195] In some examples, as shown in FIG9 , the connector 100 further includes a second isolation portion 122 . The second insulating portion 121 covers the second isolation portion 122 .

[0196] It can be understood that the second isolation portion 122 can be arranged between the first sub-connection structure 110a and the second sub-connection structure 110b along the third direction Z to play an isolation role, reduce the mutual influence between the first sub-connection structure 110a and the second sub-connection structure 110b, and reduce mutual interference between signals.

[0197] In addition, a second insulating portion 121 is provided to cover the second isolation portion 122, so that the second insulating portion 121 can electrically isolate the second isolation portion 122 and the pin 117 (including the signal pin 112 and the isolation pin 113), thereby reducing the risk of short circuit between the second isolation portion 122 and the pin 117 and improving the reliability of the connector 100.

[0198] For example, the material of the second isolation portion 122 may include a conductive material, such as at least one of copper, gold, silver, or aluminum. It is understood that the material of the second isolation portion 122 may be the same as or different from the material of the first isolation portion 115. In some examples, the second isolation portion 122 may be grounded so that the second isolation portion 122 can function as an isolation device.

[0199] In some examples, the connector 100 further includes a plastic encapsulation portion and a housing. The plastic encapsulation portion is filled between any two adjacent pins 117 , and the pins are exposed to the plastic encapsulation portion. The housing (not shown) covers the sub-connection structure 110 .

[0200] For example, the material of the plastic sealing portion may include at least one of a polymer material such as rubber, resin, PVC, etc. It is understandable that the embodiment of the present application does not further limit the material of the plastic sealing portion.

[0201] It is understood that providing a plastic encapsulation portion between any two adjacent pins 117 (including two adjacent pins 117 along the first direction X, two adjacent pins 117 along the second direction Y, and two adjacent pins 117 along the third direction Z) can electrically isolate any two adjacent pins 117, reducing the risk of short circuits between any two adjacent pins 117 and improving the reliability of the connector 100. Furthermore, the plastic encapsulation portion can protect the pins 117, reducing the risk of damage to the pins 117 and extending the service life of the connector 100.

[0202] For example, the surface of the pin 117 away from the first insulating portion 111 may be exposed to the plastic packaging portion to prevent the plastic packaging portion from affecting the electrical connection between the pin 117 and the spring.

[0203] For example, when the connector 100 includes a first sub-connection structure 110a and a second sub-connection structure 110b, the plastic sealing part can not only be filled between any two adjacent pins 117, but also can be filled between the first sub-connection structure 110a and the second sub-connection structure 110b, so that the connector 100 can achieve three-dimensional plastic sealing, thereby improving the electrical isolation effect of the plastic sealing part between any two adjacent pins 117, and improving the protection effect of the plastic sealing part on the pins 117.

[0204] It is understandable that the housing is provided to cover the sub-connection structure 110 so that the housing can protect the sub-connection structure 110 and extend the service life of the connector 100. When the connector 100 includes a first sub-connection structure 110a and a second sub-connection structure 110b, the housing can cover the first sub-connection structure 110a and the second sub-connection structure 110b.

[0205] In summary, the embodiments of the present application have at least the following beneficial effects:

[0206] In the embodiment of the present application, the first signal pin 1121 includes a first connecting portion 1121b, which is used to connect to the cable Q, so that the cable Q and the first signal pin 1121 can be directly electrically connected. The second signal pin 1122 includes a second connecting portion 1122a, which is used to connect to the cable Q, so that the cable Q and the second signal pin 1122 can be directly electrically connected.

[0207] In this way, the electrical connection between the cable Q and the signal pin 112 (including the first signal pin 1121 and the second signal pin 1122) does not need to pass through the PCB board, thereby avoiding the signal loss caused by transmission on the conductive traces and conductive vias of the PCB board, reducing the insertion loss of the connector 100, reducing the loss per unit distance (for example, 1 inch) during signal transmission, and improving the signal transmission rate.

[0208] Furthermore, in the first direction X, the third body portion 1122c is disposed on a side of the first body portion 1121a away from the first connecting portion 1121b, enabling a dual-row pin arrangement for the connector 100. This improves the pin density of the connector 100 and facilitates miniaturization of the connector 100. The third body portion 1122c is disposed on the first side P1 or the second side P2 of the first insulating portion 111 along the third direction Z, increasing the flexibility of the pin arrangement of the connector 100 and meeting different usage requirements.

[0209] That is, by adopting the above configuration, a connector 100 with low loss, high speed, high pin density and miniaturization can be achieved.
