Description

Chassis and integrated air-energy water heater

[0001] Related applications

[0002] This application claims priority to Chinese patent application number 202311214000.7, filed on September 19, 2023, entitled “Chassis and Integral Air-Source Water Heater,” the entire text of which is incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field

[0003] The present application relates to the field of air conditioning technology, and in particular to a chassis and an integrated air-energy water heater. Background Art

[0004] Air-source water heaters, also known as heat pump water heaters, use a heat pump to heat water using air as a heat source. In recent years, packaged air-source water heaters have become popular among consumers due to their ease of installation and low operating noise. Generally, packaged water heaters feature a heat pump head on top and a water tank below. The heat pump head includes key components such as the compressor, condenser, fan, piping, and electronic control system. Because the fluorine circuit system is located inside the heat pump head, there is a risk of refrigerant leakage. Due to environmental protection requirements, refrigerants used in the refrigeration industry are gradually being replaced by environmentally friendly refrigerants. For example, R290 refrigerant has a higher density than air and is highly explosive when exposed to open flames. If a refrigerant leak in a packaged water heater is not promptly discharged from the unit, it could explode, posing a serious threat to personal safety.

[0025] After the integral air-energy water heater has been running for a period of time, condensation may be generated, dripping onto the chassis, and then discharged from the chassis through the drain hole. When the drain hole is not blocked, the leaked refrigerant will be discharged from the heat pump head component through the overflow hole and the drain hole. When the drain hole is blocked, such as in extremely cold weather, the refrigerant will be discharged from the heat pump head component through the overflow hole. The drain hole and the overflow hole are both located near the edge of the extension part away from the main body. This is because the general refrigerant density is greater than that of air, and the leaked refrigerant will gather here, which makes it easy to be discharged through the overflow hole. Discharging the flammable and explosive refrigerant out of the heat pump head component in time can greatly ensure the personal safety of the integral air-energy water heater and the user. [0034] The disclosure below provides many different embodiments or examples for implementing different structures of the present application. In order to simplify the disclosure of the present application, the components and settings of specific examples are described below. Of course, these are merely examples and are not intended to limit the present application. In addition, the present application may repeat reference numbers and / or letters in different examples. Such repetition is for the purpose of simplicity and clarity and does not in itself indicate the relationship between the various embodiments and / or settings discussed.

[0035] For ease of description, spatially relative terms may be used herein to describe the relative position or movement of one element or feature relative to another element or feature as shown in the figures, such as "inside," "outside," "inside," "outside," "below," "beneath," "above," "above," "front," "back," and the like. Such spatially relative terms are intended to include different orientations of the device in use or operation in addition to the orientation depicted in the figures. For example, if the device in the figures undergoes a positional flip or a change in posture or motion state, then these directional indications will also change accordingly. For example, an element described as "below" or "below" another element or feature will then be oriented as "above" or "above" another element or feature. Thus, the example term "below" can include both above and below orientations. The device can be oriented otherwise (rotated 90 degrees or in other orientations) and the spatially relative descriptors used herein will be interpreted accordingly.

[0036] As shown in Figures 1, 2, and 4, a chassis 1 according to an embodiment of the present application is used in an integrated air-energy water heater 100, which includes a water tank component 2, a heat pump head component 3, and a chassis 1. The chassis 1 is disposed between the water tank component 2 and the heat pump head component 3. The chassis 1 includes a main body 10 and an extension 20. The main body 10 is disposed opposite the heat pump head component 3 or the water tank component 2. The extension 20 is connected to the main body 10 in parallel and is staggered with the water tank component 2 and the heat pump head component 3. The extension 20 is provided with drainage holes 21 and overflow holes 22 at intervals. The drainage holes 21 and overflow holes 22 are both located near the edge of the extension 20 facing away from the main body 10.

[0037] The extension portion 20 is connected to the main body 10 side by side, that is, the extension portion 20 and the main body 10 are connected to each other and are arranged at the same height position of the integrated air-energy water heater 100. The height direction of the integrated air-energy water heater 100 is the direction from the heat pump head component 3 to the water tank component 2.

[0038] The extension portion 20 is staggered with the water tank component 2 and the heat pump head component 3, which means that the orthographic projections of the extension portion 20 and the main body of the water tank component 2 and the main body of the heat pump head component 3 on a plane perpendicular to the height direction do not overlap, that is, the extension portion 20 protrudes from the outer surface of the main body of the water tank component 2 and the main body of the heat pump head component 3.

[0039] After the integrated air-energy water heater 100 has operated for a period of time, condensation may form on the surface of the heat pump head assembly 3, dripping onto the base 1 and then draining out of the base 1 through the drain hole 21. If refrigerant leaks, if the drain hole 21 is not blocked, the leaked refrigerant will drain out of the heat pump head assembly 3 through the overflow hole 22 and the drain hole 21. If the drain hole 21 is blocked, such as in extremely cold weather, the refrigerant will drain out of the heat pump head assembly 3 through the overflow hole 22. Both the drain hole 21 and the overflow hole 22 are located near the edge of the extension 20 facing away from the main body 10 because refrigerant is generally more dense than air, so leaked refrigerant will accumulate there and be easily drained through the overflow hole 22.

[0040] The shape of the drainage hole 21 includes but is not limited to a circle, a square, an oval, a triangle, etc. The shape of the overflow hole 22 includes but is not limited to a circle, a square, an oval, a triangle, etc.

[0041] Since the extension portion 20 protrudes beyond the other components of the integrated air-energy water heater 100, the edges of the extension portion 20 are smoothly rounded to prevent it from rubbing against other equipment or scratching the user. Furthermore, in a specific embodiment, the extension portion 20 is triangular in shape, while ensuring the proper positioning of the drain hole 21 and the overflow hole 22. This minimizes the volume of the extension portion 20.

[0042] In some embodiments, in order to enhance the structural strength of the extension portion 20 , a reinforcing rib is provided on a side of the extension portion 20 close to the water tank component 2 , and the reinforcing rib is connected to the main body 10 .

[0043] In some embodiments, in order to prevent the condensed water from flowing out from the edge of the extension portion 20 and not flowing out through the drainage hole 21 , a rim is provided at the edge of the extension portion 20 , which can gather and intercept the condensed water.

[0044] According to the chassis 1 of the embodiment of the present application, by providing the overflow hole 22, when the drain hole 21 is blocked in extreme weather, such as cold winter, the flammable and explosive refrigerant can be discharged out of the heat pump head component 3 through the overflow hole 22 in time, which can greatly protect the integrated air-energy water heater 100 and the personal safety of the user.

[0045] In some embodiments, the overflow hole 22 is closer to the main body 10 than the drain hole 21. This allows for faster refrigerant discharge and allows for a more rational arrangement of the overflow hole 22 and drain hole 21 on the extension 20, further reducing the volume of the extension 20. In the specific embodiment shown in FIG4 , the extension 20 is triangular in shape, so the drain hole 21 is located at the end farthest from the main body 10, while the overflow hole 22 is located between the drain hole 21 and the main body 10. In other words, the drain hole 21 is located at the corner of the triangle away from the main body 10, while the overflow hole 22 is located near one of the sides forming that corner.

[0046] As shown in Figures 2 and 3, in some embodiments, the extension portion 20 is further provided with a first guide portion 23, which is in communication with the overflow hole 22 and extends from the extension portion 20 toward a side near the heat pump head component 3. The provision of the first guide portion 23 can isolate condensed water, preventing it from entering the overflow hole 22 and thereby obstructing the overflow of the refrigerant. This can be particularly effective in extreme weather conditions, such as extremely cold weather, by preventing condensed water from freezing the overflow hole 22, further ensuring that the overflow hole 22 can function effectively.

[0047] It is understandable that the first guide portion 23 extends from the extension portion 20 toward the side close to the heat pump head component 3, including extension perpendicular to the extension portion 20 and extension inclined to the extension portion 20, which is not limited in this application.

[0048] As shown in Figures 2 and 3, in some embodiments, the extension portion 20 is further provided with a second guide portion 24, which is in communication with the drain hole 21 and extends from the extension portion 20 toward the side of the water tank 2. This allows the second guide portion 24 to be connected to an external drain pipe, thereby directing condensed water to a predetermined location, such as a floor drain, to prevent it from dripping and affecting the user experience.

[0049] It can be understood that the second guide portion 24 extends from the extension portion 20 toward the side close to the water tank component 2, including extension perpendicular to the extension portion 20 and extension inclined to the extension portion 20, and this application does not impose any restrictions.

[0050] As shown in Figures 2 and 3, in some embodiments, the heat pump head component 3 includes a compressor, a condenser group, a fan group and an electronic control group. A first guide groove 11 and a second guide groove 12 are provided on the main body 10. The first guide groove 11 is used to be opposite to the compressor, the condenser group, the fan group and the electronic control group, and the second guide groove 12 connects the first guide groove 11 and the extension part 20.

[0051] Specifically, the first guide groove 11 is used to be opposite to the compressor, condenser group, fan group and electronic control group, and is used to receive the condensed water generated on the surface of the compressor, condenser group, fan group and electronic control group, and plays a role in guiding the condensed water, while the second guide groove 12 connects the first guide groove 11 and the extension part 20, and can guide the condensed water to the extension part 20.

[0052] As shown in FIG. 4 , in order to prevent the overflow hole 22 from obstructing the flow of condensed water, the overflow hole 22 is provided between the drainage hole 21 and the second guide groove 12 .

[0053] As shown in FIG2 , in some embodiments, the first guide groove 11 includes a plurality of sub-guide grooves 111, and the compressor, condenser group, fan group, and electronic control group each correspond to at least one sub-guide groove 111. In this way, each sub-guide groove 111 can better gather condensed water dripping from the surface of one of the compressor, condenser group, fan group, or electronic control group. Among them, the compressor can correspond to at least one sub-guide groove 111, the condenser group can correspond to at least one sub-guide groove 111, the fan group can correspond to at least one sub-guide groove 111, and the electronic control group can correspond to at least one sub-guide groove 111.

[0054] As shown in FIG2 , in some embodiments, one of the multiple sub-guiding grooves 111 is connected to the remaining sub-guiding grooves 111, and is also connected to the second guiding groove 12. Since one sub-guiding groove 111 is connected to the remaining sub-guiding grooves 111, condensed water in the remaining sub-guiding grooves 111 can first be collected in this sub-guiding groove 111, and then directed to the second guiding groove 12, further achieving the effect of guiding and converging the condensed water.

[0055] As shown in FIG2 , in some embodiments, the sub-guiding groove 111 disposed opposite the condenser group is located between the remaining sub-guiding grooves 111. It is understood that the condenser group is relatively large, and placing the sub-guiding groove 111 disposed opposite the condenser group between the remaining sub-guiding grooves 111 can shorten the condensate flow path, accelerate the discharge of the condensate, and reduce the residence time of the condensate in the chassis 1. As shown in FIG2 , the first sub-guiding groove 112 is located between the remaining sub-guiding grooves 111.

[0056] As shown in FIG2 , in some embodiments, the sub-conduit groove 111 for being disposed opposite the condenser group is the first sub-conduit groove 112. The remaining sub-conduit grooves 111 include the second sub-conduit groove 113, the third sub-conduit groove 114, the fourth sub-conduit groove 115, the fifth sub-conduit groove 116, and the sixth sub-conduit groove 117. The second sub-conduit groove 113 and the third sub-conduit groove 114 are located on the first side of the first sub-conduit groove 112. The fourth sub-conduit groove 115, the fifth sub-conduit groove 116, and the sixth sub-conduit groove 117 are all located on the second side of the first sub-conduit groove 112. The second sub-conduit groove 113 is disposed opposite the electronic control group, the third sub-conduit groove 114 is disposed opposite the compressor, and the fourth sub-conduit groove 115, the fifth sub-conduit groove 116, and the sixth sub-conduit groove 117 are all disposed opposite the fan group. When the chassis 1 is applied to the integrated air-energy water heater 100, due to the relatively large size of the fan group, the fourth sub-guide groove 115, the fifth sub-guide groove 116 and the sixth sub-guide groove 117 are arranged opposite to the fan group, which can better guide the condensed water generated by the fan group, shorten the flow path of the condensed water, and enable the condensed water to be discharged from the chassis 1 as soon as possible.

[0057] In some embodiments, the bottom walls of the second sub-guiding groove 113, the third sub-guiding groove 114, the fourth sub-guiding groove 115, the fifth sub-guiding groove 116, and the sixth sub-guiding groove 117 are all inclined in a direction extending from the first sub-guiding groove 112 to the direction close to the water tank component 2. In this way, by utilizing the inclination effect, the condensed water in the second sub-guiding groove 113, the third sub-guiding groove 114, the fourth sub-guiding groove 115, the fifth sub-guiding groove 116, and the sixth sub-guiding groove 117 is better gathered into the first sub-guiding groove 112, thereby accelerating the discharge of the condensed water and preventing the condensed water from overflowing.

[0058] In some embodiments, a sensor is provided on one side of the overflow hole 22, and a prompt unit is further provided on the chassis 1. The sensor is electrically connected to the prompt unit, and the sensor is used to detect the concentration of the leaked refrigerant.

[0059] Among them, the sensor is arranged near the overflow hole 22, which can detect the concentration of leaked refrigerant in real time, and remind the user through the prompt unit when a certain threshold is reached, thereby playing a warning and prompting effect. When the chassis 1 is applied to the integrated air-energy water heater 100, the safety performance of the integrated air-energy water heater 100 is further enhanced.

[0060] It should be noted that the prompt unit can generate at least one of light prompt information, text prompt information, voice prompt information and pattern prompt information.

[0061] According to an embodiment of the present application, the integrated air-energy water heater 100 includes a water tank component 2 , a heat pump head component 3 and a chassis 1 , wherein the chassis 1 is disposed between the water tank component 2 and the heat pump head component 3 .

[0062] As shown in Figure 1, according to the integrated air-energy water heater 100 of the embodiment of the present application, by providing an overflow hole 22, when the drain hole 21 is blocked in extreme weather, such as cold winter, the flammable and explosive refrigerant can be discharged out of the heat pump head component 3 through the overflow hole 22 in time, which can greatly protect the integrated air-energy water heater 100 and the personal safety of the user.

[0063] In some embodiments, the heat pump head assembly 3 includes a body 31 and an extension cover 32 protruding from the body. The shape and position of the extension cover 32 correspond to and cover the extension portion 20. The extension cover 32 covers the extension portion 20, protecting the internal structure of the extension portion 20 from exposure and preventing dust accumulation from clogging the drain hole 21 and overflow hole 22.

[0064] In some embodiments, the extension cover 32 is spaced apart from an end of the first guide portion 23 away from the overflow hole 22 , so that the leaked refrigerant enters the first guide portion 23 through the space and is then discharged from the overflow hole 22 .

[0065] In the description of this application, it should also be understood that a feature defined as "first" or "second" may explicitly or implicitly include one or more of the features. In the description of this application, unless otherwise specified, "plurality" means two or more.
