[0001] Description

[0002] Connecting device of an overhead line system and overhead line system

[0003] The invention relates to a connecting device of an overhead line system and an overhead line system with at least one connecting device.

[0004] Overhead line systems for at least partially electrically powered, rail-bound and non-rail-bound vehicles, such as electric rail vehicles or electric trucks, usually have one or two flexibly suspended contact wires that are suspended either by hangers or hanger cables from one or two supporting cables or from other supporting structures. The pantograph of a vehicle presses against the contact wire from below with a preset contact force. This results in the contact wire being lifted, which is a result of the contact force of the pantograph and the elasticity of the contact wire. The elasticity of the contact wire depends on the design of the overhead line and can vary from place to place. The aim is to achieve the most uniform elasticity possible along the overhead line in order to ensure a uniform lift along the contact line with a constant contact force. The aim is to keep the height of the contact point above the vehicle level, for example track or road, constant, since changes in height can lead to minima and maxima in the contact force, which increase wear and thus reduce the service life of the system. The hangers of the overhead line are subject to mechanical loads due to the proportional mass of the contact wires attached to them and, depending on the design of the overhead line, e.g. skewed construction, also due to lateral tensile forces. When the pantograph passes by, the hanger is partially or completely relieved of load because the uplift of the contact wire is partially compensated by the simultaneous uplift of the suspension cable. If the uplift of the contact wire is greater than the simultaneous uplift of the suspension cable, the hanger is completely relieved of load and the connected, flexible hanger cable is compressed, which reduces the spatial distance between the contact wire and suspension cable. This is particularly noticeable when the suspension cable is very flexible, such as in the immediate vicinity of the suspension cable at the support point. By compressing the suspension cable, it is still possible to ensure free lifting for the pantograph. The function of the suspension cable—to absorb tensile forces while avoiding compressive forces resulting from uplift caused by compression—is an important prerequisite for a uniform contact force.

[0005] In applications with limited installation space, particularly in structures such as under bridges, in tunnels, under variable message signs, etc., through which the overhead line system and therefore the overhead lines pass, it may be necessary to limit the lift of the contact wire. Since the lift of the contact wire depends on the contact pressure of the pantograph, pantographs with a very high contact pressure, for example, can lead to inadmissibly high lift. Particularly in limited installation space, electrical safety distances may then be exceeded or there may be a risk of collision with, for example, structures, components or objects, etc. in their vicinity. In such cases, it is necessary to limit the lift accordingly.

[0006] In addition, in the area of switch connections, stations and parallel spans, it can happen that catenaries have to cross, i.e. the contact wire and / or suspension cable of one catenary have to be led diagonally between the hangers of another catenary. In particular with a small crossing angle and / or small hanger spacing, a collision between the hangers of one catenary and the suspension cable and / or contact wire of the other catenary cannot be avoided or cannot be reliably avoided. To avoid such collisions, either a different, much more complicated and therefore more expensive switch covering must be selected or a hanger element must be used which creates the direct connection between the suspension cable and contact wire using a rigid, encompassing profile, for example an arched clamp or hanger clamp. In this case there is no longer a suspension cable between the contact wire and the suspension cable, but a rigid structure which can no longer be compressed. In this case the uplift of the pantograph is transferred directly to the suspension cable or, in the case of a suspension cable with little or no flexibility, e.g. in the immediate vicinity of a support point, means that the uplift of the pantograph is not possible. In this case the contact point of the pantograph moves downwards or has to be moved downwards, which leads to local extremes in the contact force and very heavy wear at this point. In the case of overhead lines under or in structures such as bridges, tunnels, stations, etc. the uplift of the contact wire is also only possible to a limited extent due to lack of space. In these cases too the uplift must be limited.

[0007] Nowadays, lift limits are usually used in pull-off holders for side holders, which are used to fix the contact wire in its lateral position at the support point. For this purpose, there is a pressure point on the pull-off holder. Once a certain lift is reached, the side holder can no longer be lifted because it is braced between its rotating suspension point and the pressure point by the upward force. With this solution, however, only the lift can be limited at the support point and not at any arbitrary location within the longitudinal span. As an alternative to lift limits, rigid spacers with insulating properties are installed between the contact wire and the obstacle. In this case, the contact wire is rigidly connected to the obstacle and a lift of the pantograph is no longer possible. This in turn has a negative impact on the quality of the contact force and in particular on wear. The invention is based on the object of specifying a connecting device with which the lift of the contact wire can be limited at any point on an overhead line.

[0008] The problem is solved by the features of independent patent claim 1. Further developments and refinements of the invention can be found in the features of the dependent patent claims.

[0009] For this purpose, a connecting device of an overhead line system is specified, wherein the connecting device has at least two parts which can be displaced relative to one another, wherein the first part is connected at least indirectly to at least one contact wire of the overhead line system and the second part is connected at least indirectly to at least one further component of the overhead line system or a structure.

[0010] The solution according to the invention has the advantage that by means of the connecting device the contact wire is connected to another component of the overhead line system or a structure, for example bridges, tunnels, railway stations, variable message signs, etc. and thus a required or desired distance between the contact wire and the other components or structures is not exceeded due to uncontrolled deflections and the required lifting limitation is ensured.

[0011] According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the first part of the connecting device is connected to the at least one contact wire of the overhead line system by means of a clamp. This ensures very simple and rapid assembly of the connecting device to the contact wire using conventional clamps.

[0012] According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the at least one further component of the overhead line system is a supporting cable, wherein the second part of the connecting device is connected to the at least one supporting cable of the overhead line system by means of a hanger clamp, for example, a curved clamp. This also ensures very simple and rapid assembly of the connecting device to a supporting cable using conventional hanger clamps.

[0013] According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the first part of the connecting device is designed as a rod-shaped profile, the first part of the connecting device having a guide device for connection to the second part of the connecting device in the region of one end and a first connection element in the region of the opposite end, the first connection element being connectable to the clamp. This not only ensures a simple connection between the first and the second part of the connecting device, but also makes it possible for the first part of the connecting device to be connected to the clamp very quickly, easily and permanently securely by means of the first connection element, for example with a screw connection. Of course, this also includes all possible other types of connection.

[0014] Particularly preferably, the rod-shaped profile can be designed as a solid profile or as a hollow profile. Depending on the existing circumstances or requirements, the rod-shaped profile can be designed as a hollow profile, for example for weight reasons, or alternatively, for example to ensure particular stability, as a solid profile. A design as a cylindrical rod, for example, is particularly simple and cost-effective to manufacture.

[0015] According to a further particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the first part of the connecting device can be made from several parts. In particular, the guide device can be manufactured separately and designed differently and then connected, in particular screwed, to the rod-shaped profile. For this purpose, the rod-shaped profile has at one end, for example, a corresponding hollow space open at the end with an internal thread, into which one of the differently designed guide devices can be screwed. Other types of connection are of course also conceivable and possible. Compared to a one-piece design, the individual, separately manufactured parts can thus be coordinated with one another more precisely and assembled to form the first part. Furthermore, in this way, different guide devices can be used or employed depending on the local conditions or requirements. In particular, the assembly of the connecting device can be greatly simplified and facilitated in this way.

[0016] According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the second part of the connecting device is designed as a hollow profile, wherein the second part of the connecting device has a first stop element in the region of one end and a second stop element with a second connection element in the region of the opposite end, wherein the second connection element can be connected to the hanger clamp. Particularly preferably, the second part of the connecting device is designed in several parts.

[0017] In particular, the first and second stop elements can be manufactured separately, designed differently depending on requirements and then connected, in particular screwed, to the hollow profile. For this purpose, the hollow profile has, for example, a corresponding internal thread at each end, into which a stop element can be screwed. Other types of connection are of course also conceivable and possible. Compared to a one-piece design, the individual, separately manufactured parts can thus be coordinated more precisely with one another and combined to form the second part. In particular, this also makes the assembly of the connecting device much easier and simpler.

[0018] In addition, this allows different guide devices to be used depending on local conditions and requirements. The hollow profile can be designed, for example, as a tube or in any other possible, practical shape.

[0019] According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the first part and the second part of the connecting device are designed so that they can be moved one inside the other. Particularly preferably, the first part is movably connected to the second part of the connecting device by means of the guide device, so that a guide is created by means of which both components can be freely pushed into each other or pulled apart. In this way, the mutual or opposite movement of the first and second parts of the connecting device is ensured in a simple and safe way, since in particular the guide device prevents the first and second parts of the connecting device from tilting relative to each other.

[0020] According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the first stop element of the second part of the connecting device is designed as an upper stop for the first part of the connecting device and the second stop element of the second part of the connecting device is designed as a lower stop for the first part of the connecting device. Particularly preferably, the connecting device has an adjustment range between the lower and the upper stop, in which the first part of the connecting device is displaceably arranged in the second part of the connecting device. According to a likewise preferred embodiment of the invention, the adjustment range is limited on one side by the stop of the guide device on the upper stop and on the opposite side by the stop of the guide device on the lower stop.

[0021] In this way, the lift of the contact wire can be limited to the desired distance, thus ensuring the lift limitation required depending on the local conditions. Particularly preferably, an overhead line system is equipped with at least one connecting device according to one of claims 1 to 13.

[0022] In summary, the connecting device according to the invention makes it possible to limit uplift at any location in the chain system of an overhead line system, in particular not only at the support point, provided that a corresponding support structure is present which can divert the compressive force of a pantograph against the respective component. Furthermore, it is thus also possible to build overhead lines with small curve radii, even on very winding routes. The connecting device according to the invention is also so narrow that it can always keep the required lateral clearances next to the contact wire free for a pantograph of electrically powered road vehicles. Thus, the connecting device described herein as well as the corresponding overhead line systems with such connecting devices can be used and are suitable for both rail-bound and non-rail-bound electric vehicles, and in particular also for eHighway systems, for example for electric trucks or electric buses, etc.

[0023] Preferred embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings. They show:

[0024] Fig. 1 shows a cross section of a first embodiment of the connecting device according to the invention with the first part at the lower stop,

[0025] Fig. 2 is a perspective view of a first embodiment of the connecting device according to the invention with the first part at the lower stop,

[0026] Fig. 3 shows a cross section of a second embodiment of the connecting device according to the invention with the first part at the upper stop, and Fig. 4 shows a perspective view of a second embodiment of the connecting device according to the invention with the first part at the upper stop.

[0027] In Figures 1 to 4, identical components are designated by the same reference numerals, even if the corresponding components may be designed differently. In this regard, Figures 1 and 2 describe a first embodiment, and Figures 3 and 4 describe a second embodiment of the connecting device 1 according to the invention.

[0028] Fig. 1 shows a cross section of a first embodiment of the connecting device 1 according to the invention comprising a first part 6 and a second part 7, wherein the first part 6 of the connecting device 1 is pushed into the second part 7 of the connecting device and the two parts 6, 7 are movably connected to one another by means of a guide device 10 of the first part 6, whereby an adjustment area 13 is created in which both components 6, 7 can be pushed into and pulled apart from one another in an essentially freely movable manner.

[0029] The two parts 6, 7 are each made up of several parts, the first part 6 being made up of two parts as shown in Figure 1 and the second part 7 being made up of three parts. The first part 6 is made as a rod-shaped profile, to ensure particular stability as a solid profile, here as a cylindrical rod and acts as an internal profile or piston. The first part or the rod-shaped profile 6 of the connecting device 1 has a guide device 10 at the upper end, i.e. at the end which is located in the second part 7, and a first connecting element 8 at the opposite, lower end, with which the rod-shaped profile 6 is connected to the contact wire 2 by means of a clamp 3. The rod-shaped profile 6 or the cylindrical rod is screwed to the clamp 3 by means of the first connecting element 8, although alternative types of connection, for example adhesive or welded connections, are also possible here. The rod-shaped profile 6 with the first connecting element 8 is advantageously designed as a single piece, although the first connecting element 8 can also be designed as a separate part for detachable connection to the rod-shaped profile 6 or the cylindrical rod. The guide device 10, which is designed as a separate component, is screwed to the rod-shaped profile 6 in the embodiment shown in Figure 1, although other types of connection are of course also conceivable and possible. For this purpose, the rod-shaped profile 6 has, at the end to which the guide device 10 is screwed, a corresponding cavity which is open at the end and has an internal thread, into which the guide device 10 can be screwed.

[0030] The second part 7 is designed as a hollow profile, tubular here, and acts as an outer hollow profile or housing for the rod-shaped profile 6 which acts as a piston. The second part or the hollow profile 7 of the connecting device 1 has a first stop element 14 in the region of one end and a second stop element 15 in the region of the opposite end, which second stop element 15 comprises a second connecting element 9 with which the hollow profile 7 is connected to other components of the overhead line system, for example by means of a conventional hanger clamp to a supporting cable, or to a structure. The hollow profile 7 is screwed to the hanger clamp by means of the second connecting element 9, for example, although alternative types of connection, such as adhesive or welded connections, are also possible. The second stop element 15 is designed as a threaded bolt according to the embodiment in Figure 1 and the first stop element 14 as a hollow screw. Both stop elements 14, 15 are screwed to the hollow profile 7 and thus form a substantially closed housing which only has an opening to the outside by means of the hollow screw 14, through which opening the rod-shaped profile 6 is guided into the hollow profile or the housing 7. For this purpose, the hollow profile 7 has a corresponding internal thread at each end, into which a stop element 14 or 15 can be screwed. Each of the two stop elements 14, 15, i.e. hollow screw 14 or threaded bolt 15, is thus located partly inside the hollow profile or the housing 7 by means of the respective screw connection, the first stop element or the hollow screw 14 having a lower stop 11 and the second stop element or the threaded bolt 15 having an upper stop 12. If the two stop elements 14 , 15 are firmly connected to the hollow profile or .When the housing 7 is screwed, i.e. is in the intended end position, both the upper stop 12 and the lower stop 11 of the two stop elements 14, 15 are located within the housing 7.

[0031] In order to assemble the connecting device 1 according to the invention, it is necessary that the hollow screw 14 is not yet connected to the hollow profile 7. Firstly, the rod-shaped profile 6 is guided without the guide device 10 through the essentially central opening of the hollow screw 14. The guide device 10 is then screwed to the rod-shaped profile 6, it being possible for the hollow screw 14 to be moved freely along the rod-shaped profile 6 in this method step. The lower stop 11 of the hollow screw 14 points in the direction of the guide device 10 and, when the hollow screw 14 is moved accordingly in the direction of the guide device 10, touches the latter with the lower stop 11. The rod-shaped profile 6 is then pushed with the guide device 10 first into the hollow profile or the housing 7. In the last step of assembly, the hollow screw 14 is screwed into the corresponding internal thread provided for this purpose in the hollow profile orof the housing 7, whereby the housing 7 is closed and a substantially closed interior space is created. The upper part of the guide device 10, which is not screwed to the rod-shaped profile 6, is therefore located inside the housing 7 and rests on the lower stop 11 due to gravity, without any counter-pressure from below. According to the invention, the inside diameter of the housing 7 is only minimally larger than the outside diameter of the guide device 10 of the rod-shaped profile 6 of the connecting device 1, whereby a guide is created, by means of which both components 6, 7 can be pushed into or pulled apart in an essentially freely movable manner. In this way, the mutual or.counter-rotating movement of the rod-shaped profile 6 and the housing 7 of the connecting device 1 is ensured in a simple and safe manner, since in particular by means of the guide device 10 a mutual tilting of the two components 6, 7 of the connecting device 1 is prevented.

[0032] The mutual or opposite movement of the two components, the rod-shaped profile 6 with the guide device 10 in the housing 7, is limited upwards, in the direction of the second stop element or the threaded bolt 15, by the upper stop 12, and downwards, in the direction of the first stop element or the hollow screw 14, by the lower stop 11. This creates the adjustment range 13, within which a free, almost resistance-free lifting of a current collector up to the stop of the guide device 10 at the upper stop 12 is possible. The adjustment range 13 is shorter than the absolute distance between the lower stop 11 and the upper stop 12, corresponding to the respective length of the upper part of the guide device 10, which is screwed to the rod-shaped profile 6 and projects into the interior of the housing.

[0033] Figure 1 shows the position of the guide device 10 of the rod-shaped profile 6 in the housing 7 resting on the lower stop 11. The adjustment range 13 begins above the guide device 10 and extends upwards to the upper stop 12 of the threaded bolt 15. Figure 1 thus shows the maximum lift available for a pantograph in the embodiment shown here, which presses against the contact wire 2 from below and thereby deflects the rod-shaped profile 6 upwards in the direction of the second stop 12 of the threaded bolt 15. The upward deflection compresses the air in the housing 7 accordingly, so that a spring-like, damping effect is achieved. Depending on the specifications, the connecting device 1 according to the invention can be adapted or adjusted accordingly in the individual case and thus the required lift limitation can be guaranteed.

[0034] For clarity, Fig. 2 shows a perspective view of the first embodiment of the connecting device 1 according to the invention from Fig. 1 from the outside. The guide device 10 of the rod-shaped profile 6 is located in the same position as in Fig. 1 within the housing 7 at the lower stop 11 of the first stop element or the hollow screw 14 and is therefore not visible here.

[0035] In Fig. 2, the adjustment range 13 is also illustrated and, as in Fig. 1, shows the maximum available lift for a current collector for the embodiment shown here, which presses against the contact wire 2 from below and thereby deflects the rod-shaped profile 6 by means of the clamp 3 via the first connection element 8 upwards in the direction of the second stop 12, not visible here, of the second stop element or the threaded bolt 15.

[0036] Furthermore, Fig. 2 shows the second connecting element 9 of the threaded bolt 15, visible from the outside. This connecting element can be screwed, for example, using a hanger clamp (not shown), and thus connected to a supporting cable (also not shown). Alternatively, the hollow profile 7 can also be connected to other components or a structure of the overhead line system.

[0037] Fig. 3 shows a cross section of a second embodiment of the connecting device 1 according to the invention comprising a first part 6 and a second part 7, wherein the first part 6 of the connecting device 1 is pushed into the second part 7 of the connecting device and the two parts 6, 7 are movably connected to one another by means of the guide device 10 of the first part 6, which in turn creates the adjustment range 13 in which the two components 6, 7 can be pushed into and pulled apart from one another in an essentially freely movable manner. The two parts 6, 7 can be made in one part or in multiple parts and, as in the first embodiment according to Figures 1 and 2, can again be designed as a hollow profile in all shapes, for example tubular, the first part 6 moreover also as a solid profile.

[0038] The first part 6 of the connecting device 1 has a guide device 10 at the upper end, i.e. at the end which is located in the second part 7, and a first connecting element 8 at the opposite, lower end, with which the first part 6 is connected to the contact wire 2 by means of a clamp 3. The first part 6 is screwed to the clamp 3 by means of the first connecting element 8, although alternative types of connection, for example adhesive or welded connections, are also possible. The first part 6 with the first connecting element 8 is preferably designed in one piece, although the first connecting element 8 can also be designed as a separate part for detachable connection to the first part 6.

[0039] The embodiment of the connecting device 1 according to Figures 3 and 4 has a pin, in particular a notched pin, as the guide device 10 of the first part 6 of the connecting device 1, while the second part 7 of the connecting device 1 advantageously has two opposing, lateral slots 5, wherein the guide device or the pin 10 of the first part 6 and thus the entire first part 6 is arranged so as to be guideable along the two slots 5 of the second part 7 of the connecting device 1, or is guided accordingly. Depending on the requirements, the second part 7 of the connecting device 1 can also have just a single slot 5 or more than the two slots 5 which are preferred for manufacturing reasons. Depending on the requirements and, for example, depending on the number of slots 5, the pin 10 can also be designed differently, for example with different diameters, lengths, etc., be designed. The guide device or the pin 10 is arranged transversely, essentially centrally, to the first part 6 of the connecting device 1 and connected to it, for example fastened, in particular screwed, in a bore in the rod, the length of the pin 10 being greater than or equal to the outer diameter of the second part 7 of the connecting device 1, so that the pin either projects laterally beyond the two opposite slots 5 or is flush with the outer dimension of the second part 7 on both sides.

[0040] The lower end of the two slots 5 of the second part 7 of the connecting device 1 is designed as a first stop element 14 with the lower stop 11 and the upper end of the two slots 5 of the second part 7 of the connecting device 1 is designed as a second stop element 15 with the upper stop 12 for the pin 10 of the first part 6 of the connecting device 1.

[0041] By means of the pin 10, the two components 6, 7 are essentially freely movable and can be pushed into each other or pulled apart accordingly. In this way, the mutual or opposing movement of the two components 6, 7 of the connecting device 1 is ensured in a simple and reliable manner.

[0042] The second part 7 of the connecting device 1 further has, in the region of the end above the second stop element 15, a second connection element 9, with which the second part 7 is connected to further components of the overhead line system, for example by means of a conventional hanger clamp to a supporting cable or to a structure. The second part 7 is screwed to the hanger clamp by means of the second connection element 9, for example, although alternative types of connection, such as adhesive or welded connections, are also possible here. The second connection element 9 can be connected to the second part 7 as a separate component, for example screwed, or integrated into the second part 7 as a one-piece component. According to the invention, the inner diameter of the second part 7 is only minimally larger than the outer diameter of the first part 6 of the connecting device 1.

[0043] The mutual or opposite movement of the two components 6, 7 is limited upwards by the second stop element 15 with the upper stop 12, and downwards by the first stop element 14 with the lower stop 11. This in turn creates an adjustment range 13, within which a free, resistance-free lifting of a current collector is possible until the guide device or the pin 10 stops at the upper stop 12. The adjustment range 13 is, in accordance with the respective diameter of the pin 10, shorter than the absolute distance between the lower stop 11 and the upper stop 12.

[0044] When a pantograph travels over the contact wire 2, it is lifted, and the effective weight force on the connecting device 1 decreases until the first part 6 is lifted and pushed into the second part 7. Thus, free lifting of the pantograph is possible if the length of the adjustment range 13 is selected to be sufficiently large. If the lift exceeds the possible adjustment range 13, the upper stop 12 limits the lift because the pin 10 transfers the compressive force to the second part 7 and further into the supporting structure or connected terminals.

[0045] Figure 3 shows the position of the guide device or of the pin 10 of the first part 6 at the upper stop 12. The adjustment range 13, which extends between the lower stop 11 and the upper stop 12, is thus used up as shown in Figure 3, i.e., a current collector (not shown here) which presses against the contact wire 2 from below has already deflected the first part 6 upwards to the second stop 12 and has thus completely used up the available lift. Depending on the specifications, the connecting device 1 according to the invention can be adapted or adjusted accordingly in the individual case and thus the required lift limitation can be guaranteed.

[0046] For clarity, Fig. 4 shows a perspective view of the second embodiment of the connecting device 1 according to the invention from Fig. 3 from the outside. The guide device or the pin 10 of the first part 6 is located in the same position as in Fig. 3 on the upper stop 12 of the second part 7.

[0047] The perspective view in Fig. 4 particularly illustrates the adjustment range 13 and, as in Fig. 3, shows the maximum available lift between the lower 11 and upper stop 12 for a current collector for the embodiment shown here, which presses against the contact wire 2 from below and has thus already deflected the first part 6 by means of the clamp 3 via the first connection element 8 upwards to the upper stop 12.

[0048] Furthermore, Fig. 4 again shows the second connecting element 9, which can be screwed, for example, using a hanger clamp (not shown), and thus connected to a supporting cable (also not shown). Alternatively, the second part 7 can also be connected to other components or a structure of the overhead line system.

[0049] The embodiments of the connecting device 1 according to the invention according to Figures 1 to 4 can also be designed without any problem in such a way that the geometry of the first part 6 and the second part 7 is swapped. In these variants of the embodiments shown and described in Figures 1 to 4, the second connection element 9 (instead of the first connection element 8) is then connected directly to the clamp 3 and, by means of this, indirectly to the contact wire 2. The first connection element 8 (instead of the second connection element 9) is then correspondingly connected to other components of the overhead line system, for example directly to a conventional hanger clamp and, by means of this, indirectly to a supporting cable or a structure. All of the above-mentioned further statements on the embodiments in Figures 1 to 4 are, without exception, transferable mutatis mutandis to the variants of the embodiments of the connecting device 1 according to the invention, in which the first part 6 and the second part 7 are exchanged in their geometry, and thus also apply without restriction to these variants of the connecting device 1 according to the invention.

[0050] The connecting device 1 according to the invention is in no way restricted to the embodiments described and shown so far, but rather also encompasses all possible further useful embodiments, in particular embodiments in which, for example, at least one spring, for example a compression spring, is arranged inside the second part 7 of the connecting device 1, for example at the upper end of the second part 7. The spring can expediently be arranged, for example, in the adjustment area 13 of the connecting device 1. Hard impacts on the upper stop 12 or lower stop 11 of the connecting device 1 can be avoided if the length of the spring arranged in the adjustment area 13 is less than the free distance in the adjustment area 13.The spring constant of the compression spring can be selected such that it is stiffer than the elasticity of the contact wire 2, so that the uplift is initially gently limited before the spring is fully compressed and becomes a hard limiter. Embodiments are also possible in which the interior of the second part 7 of the connecting device 1 is completely filled with at least one spring, so that the first part 6 with the connection point to the contact wire 2 is already pre-tensioned depending on the spring constant. If the spring constant is selected such that it is stiffer than the elasticity of the contact wire 2 at this point without a connected component, the elasticity at this point is reduced and thus the uplift is reduced before an attachment point is reached. The prerequisite for this is the presence of a suitable supporting structure that can divert the compressive force of a pantograph against the respective component.Only when the spring is fully compressed does a hard stop occur again.
