Description

water level control device

[0001] The present invention relates to a paddy water level control device, and more specifically, to a paddy water level control device which is installed at intervals on a paddy ridge so as to control the water contained in the paddy to a set level according to the season and environment, and which is provided with a separation prevention part that improves the bonding strength between the paddy ridge and the control device, thereby preventing the control device from being separated or separated from the paddy ridge due to water pressure, and which can reduce the time and cost required for manufacturing and installing the control device by allowing the assembly of the control device and the bonding of the separation prevention part to be performed without a separate fastening work.

[0002] Generally, rice paddies are farmland that produces rice for human consumption, and are divided into appropriate parcels, with ridges formed along the boundaries.

[0003] The ridges between rice paddies are the boundaries between rice paddies, serve as passageways for people to pass through, and serve as paths for moving farm equipment. They also form drainage channels for the movement of water, the lifeline of rice growth.

[0004] In order to cultivate rice, there should not be too much water in the field, nor should there be too little water, so the amount of water in the field should be adjusted appropriately according to the rice growing season.

[0005] For reference, if we look at the amount of water needed for the rice paddy depending on the rice growing season, during the rice transplanting season, the rice paddy is watered 2-3 cm deep to allow the rice seedlings to be planted low, during the rice establishment season, the rice paddy is watered 5-7 cm deep to promote establishment, during the tillering season, the rice paddy is watered again 2-3 cm deep to promote tillering, and during the ineffective tillering season, the water is dried for 5-10 days to remove harmful substances and suppress ineffective tillering.

[0006] During the reproductive growth period, water is supplied to a depth of 2-4 cm, but the water is irrigated for 3 days and drained for 2 days, filtering to promote root vitality and remove harmful substances. During the heading period, water is supplied to a depth of 3-4 cm to promote pollination. During the rice maturation period, water is supplied to a depth of 2-3 cm, but the water is irrigated for 3 days and drained for 2 days, filtering to maintain root function and remove harmful substances. During the dripping period, the water is completely drained and the plants head up.

[0007] In addition, rice paddy ridges are installed in various ways, such as ridges raised with soil, ridges with non-woven fabric sheets over the soil ridges, ridges with panels over them, ridges with vinyl over them, ridges with PVC corrugated sheets over them, ridges with plastic covers over the soil ridges, ridges paved with mortar over the soil ridges, ridges poured with concrete, and ridges assembled with blocks for ridge construction.

[0008] However, the reality of our country's rural areas is that most of the earthen ridges are still raised with dirt, and whenever necessary, a trench is dug with a shovel at an appropriate location to install a drainage culvert, and the water from the upper field flows to the lower field by the difference in water level, supplying water to the lower field. This is the reality of most of our rural areas.

[0009] In addition, in the current reality of our rural areas, which are dependent on elderly labor due to an absolute shortage of rural labor, it is extremely dangerous for elderly people to rush to the rice paddies to install drainage gates on the ridges to drain the water to protect the rice crops during heavy rain, and there is also the problem of accidents occurring in which they get caught in the rapids.

[0010] To solve these problems, the applicant of this application, "Utility Model Registration No. 0450622," proposed a device capable of controlling the water level of a paddy field.

[0011] And the water level control device is composed of a housing installed on the ridge of the paddy field, a water level control plate arranged to be able to slide up and down on the housing, and a screw shaft for moving the water level control plate.

[0012] The device for controlling the water level of the paddy field is to raise or lower the water level control plate by rotating the screw shaft, thereby controlling the water level of the paddy field. When the water level of the paddy field is higher than the upper part of the water level control plate, the water is automatically drained, and when the water level of the paddy field is the same as the upper part of the water level control plate, the water can be stored.

[0013]

[0014] The background technology of the present invention is disclosed in Republic of Korea Utility Model Registration No. 20-0450622 (announced on October 18, 2010, title of invention: Water level control device for rice paddy).

[0015] The water level control device according to the prior art has the problem that the water level control work is not only cumbersome but also difficult to perform quickly because the worker must rotate the screw shaft to control the water level, and it is not easy to combine the rotating screw shaft and the linear reciprocating water level control plate.

[0016] In addition, because the screw shaft made of iron is exposed to harsh external environments, there is a problem that the surface of the screw shaft oxidizes and rusts, and there is also a problem that the screw shaft cannot operate due to rust.

[0017] In developing a water level control device to solve the above-mentioned problem, there is a problem in that it is difficult to reduce the time and cost required for assembling the control device because the technical components must be assembled so that the position of the hole through which water flows in and out of the water can be controlled.

[0018] In addition, when developing a water level control device to solve the above-mentioned problem, there is a problem in that it is difficult to prevent the control device installed on the ridge of the paddy field from being separated or detached from the ridge of the paddy field due to water pressure.

[0019] Therefore, there is a need to improve this.
