Description

Acupressure Posture Corrector

[0001] The present invention relates to a posture corrector, and more specifically, to an acupressure-type posture corrector that enables a user to perform corrective exercise while being worn on the user's lower extremities, while providing an acupressure effect to the user's lower extremities.

[0002] Modern people spend a significantly longer amount of time sitting down than in the past, which causes excessive strain on the spine and increases the risk of spinal and pelvic diseases such as spinal curvature deformation.

[0003] In particular, the explosive spread of IT devices such as smartphones and PCs has led to a tendency to bend the head forward, which puts tension on the neck and shoulder muscles, and in the long term, causes degenerative disc disease and puts pressure on the spine and pelvis.

[0004] Additionally, if you sit for a long time, you will end up crossing your legs, which can have a negative impact on your joints and can lead to pelvic asymmetry and varicose veins in the lower extremities.

[0005] Additionally, using a chair that does not fit your body type or using a desk that is not at the right height can put a strain on your spine and put pressure on your pelvis, which can lead to pelvic disease.

[0006] Therefore, it is most important to prevent and manage these problems by maintaining good posture, exercising regularly, managing stress, and strengthening muscles.

[0007] To this end, various posture correction devices have been developed and distributed recently for the purpose of correcting the shape of the spine, pelvis, etc. and improving diseases.

[0008] For example, posture correction devices currently on the market include body correction belts, body correction devices, and spinal compression devices.

[0009] However, these conventional posture correction devices can cause discomfort when worn for extended periods and hinder continued use. If this situation persists, the body's muscles may no longer support itself, potentially leading to muscle weakness.

[0010] Additionally, it has been found that many conventional posture correction devices focus only on the correction function itself and do not consider additional health promotion effects.

[0011] Therefore, a method to solve these problems is required.

[0012] The present invention is an invention devised to solve the problems of the above-described prior art, and has the purpose of providing a new type of posture corrector that can activate the muscles related to the user's pelvis and spine in a correct manner and correct posture.

[0013] In addition, the present invention has the purpose of providing a posture correction device that can further improve health by providing an acupressure effect to the user's body in addition to the correction function itself.

[0014] The tasks of the present invention are not limited to the tasks mentioned above, and other tasks not mentioned will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description below.

[0015] In order to achieve the above-described object, the acupressure-type posture corrector of the present invention comprises an elastic unit formed in a closed curve shape, at least a portion of which is formed to be elastically deformable, and a pair of body fixing units which are respectively coupled to both sides of the elastic unit and formed to be able to be fixed on the lower limbs of a user, wherein the elastic unit is positioned between the lower limbs of a user while the user fixes the pair of body fixing units on the lower limbs of both sides, and is formed to be elastically deformable by an external force applied by the user, and the body fixing unit includes an acupressure protrusion which protrudes in the direction of the user's body to provide an acupressure effect.

[0016] At this time, the elastic unit may include a pair of fixing parts provided at positions spaced apart on both sides so that the body fixing unit can be combined, and a pair of elastic providing parts formed to be elastically deformable by connecting the upper and lower portions of the pair of fixing parts to form a closed curve.

[0017] And the body fixing unit may include a coupling part coupled to the outer side of the elastic unit, a support member formed to be able to be fixed on the lower limb of the user, and a coupling member positioned on the inner side of the elastic unit and coupled to the coupling part.

[0018] Here, the connecting portion may include a through projection penetrating the side of the elastic unit and a pair of connecting hooks extending from opposite sides along the side circumference of the elastic unit, and in this case, the connecting member may include an insertion groove into which the through projection is inserted and a pair of connecting grooves provided on the side so that the pair of connecting hooks are respectively caught.

[0019] In addition, the above-mentioned support member can be formed into a curved shape.

[0020] In addition, the body fixing unit may further include a buffer member formed to have a shape corresponding to the support member and mounted on the support member, and formed to have a lower hardness than the support member and formed to come into direct contact with the user's lower limbs.

[0021] At this time, a plurality of the pressure protrusions may be formed on the buffer member.

[0022] In addition, one or more fixing holes may be formed at preset positions of the support member, and in this case, one or more fixing protrusions may be formed at positions corresponding to the fixing holes on the buffer member to provide fixing force when inserted into the fixing holes.

[0023] The acupressure-type posture corrector of the present invention for solving the above-mentioned problem has the advantage of activating the muscles related to the user's pelvis and spine in a correct manner and correcting the posture through a movement process in which the user places an elastic unit between the lower extremities of both sides while placing a pair of body fixing units on the knees and applies an external force through the lower extremities to deform the elastic unit.

[0024] In addition, the present invention has an advantage in that it can further improve the health of the user by providing an effect of increasing the wearing comfort along with a massage effect when used for a long time, as a pressure protrusion protruding in the direction of the user's body is formed on the body-fitting unit to provide an acupressure effect to the contact area.

[0025] The effects of the present invention are not limited to the effects mentioned above, and other effects not mentioned will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description of the claims.

[0040] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

[0041] FIG. 1 is a drawing showing the appearance of a pressure-type posture corrector according to a first embodiment of the present invention.

[0042] As illustrated in FIG. 1, the acupressure-type posture corrector according to the first embodiment of the present invention includes an elastic unit (100) and a pair of body fixing units (200).

[0043] The elastic unit (100) is formed in a closed curve shape, and at least a portion thereof is formed to be elastically deformable.

[0044] In this embodiment, the elastic unit (100) is exemplified as having an overall circular ring shape, but the shape of the elastic unit (100) is not limited to this embodiment.

[0045] The body fixation unit (200) is connected to each side of the elastic unit (100) and is formed to be able to be fixed on the user's lower extremities. Specifically, the body fixation unit (200) can be fixed on the user's knees or various points of the lower extremities, such as the thighs.

[0046] That is, in the present invention, when a user places a pair of body fixing units (100) on each of the lower extremities of the body, and the elastic unit (100) is positioned between the lower extremities of the body, and the user applies an external force inward through the lower extremities of the body, the elastic unit (100) can be elastically deformed.

[0047] Therefore, the user can correct the shape of the pelvis and spine and strengthen the muscles by performing posture correction exercise using the elastic resistance of the elastic unit (100).

[0048] In addition, the body fixation unit (200) may further include an acupressure protrusion (222) that protrudes in the direction of the user's body to provide an acupressure effect, thereby providing a health promotion effect by the acupressure protrusion (220).

[0049] And in this embodiment, the body fixation unit (200) may include a support member (210), a coupling member (230), and a buffer member (220), which will be described in detail later.

[0050] FIG. 2 is a drawing showing the appearance of an elastic unit (100) in a pressure-type posture correction device according to the first embodiment of the present invention.

[0051] As shown in Fig. 2, the elastic unit (100) is formed in a closed curve shape, and at least a portion thereof is formed to be elastically deformable.

[0052] And the elastic unit (100) of the present embodiment may each include a pair of fixing parts (120) and a pair of elastic providing parts (110).

[0053] A pair of fixing members (120) are provided at positions spaced apart on both sides so that the body fixing unit (100) can be coupled.

[0054] And a pair of elastic parts (110) are formed to connect the upper and lower parts of a pair of fixed parts (120) to form a closed curve shape and are formed to be elastically deformable.

[0055] In this embodiment, the elastic unit (100) is formed into an overall circular ring shape by a pair of fixing parts (120) and a pair of elastic providing parts (110). However, as described above, the shape of the elastic unit (100) is not limited to this embodiment.

[0056] In addition, in this embodiment, a fixing hole (121) is formed in the fixing part (120), and this is provided so that a penetration projection (213, see FIG. 3) of a body fixing unit (200) to be described later can be inserted through it.

[0057] In addition, the present embodiment can be provided with a plurality of elastic units (100) formed with different elasticities so that they can be replaced. In this case, after separating the body-holding unit (200) from the elastic unit (100), another elastic unit (100) formed with different elasticities can be used as a replacement.

[0058] In other words, since users can select and replace an elastic unit (100) with an elasticity suitable for them, the present invention has the advantage of being conveniently usable by a wide range of users, regardless of age or gender.

[0059] In addition, the elastic unit (100) may be formed in a form in which a plurality of members having a ring shape, including a pair of fixing members (120) and a pair of elastic providing members (110), are formed with different diameters and overlapped in a layered form.

[0060] In such a case, the elastic unit (100) can be formed to adjust elasticity according to the number of layers.

[0061] FIG. 3 is a drawing showing the structure of a support member (210) and a buffer member (220) included in a body fixation unit (200) in a pressure-type posture corrector according to a first embodiment of the present invention.

[0062] And FIGS. 4 to 6 are drawings showing the combined structure of the body fixation unit (200) and the elastic unit (100) in the acupressure-type posture correction device according to the first embodiment of the present invention.

[0063] As shown in FIGS. 3 to 6, the body fixing unit (200) may include a support member (210), a coupling member (230), and a buffer member (220) in detail.

[0064] The support member (210) includes a connecting portion (212) that is connected to the outer side of the elastic unit (100) and is formed so as to be able to be placed on the user's lower body.

[0065] Accordingly, the support member (210) may have a curved shape formed in the form of an open curve to correspond to the overall curvature of the user's lower body seating area.

[0066] At this time, in the present embodiment, the coupling part (212) may include a penetrating projection (213) penetrating the side of the elastic unit (100), i.e., the fixed part (120), and a pair of coupling hooks (214) extending from opposite sides in a form that wraps around the circumference of the fixed part (120).

[0067] And as described above, a fixing hole (121) into which a penetration projection (213) is inserted can be formed in the fixing portion (120) of the elastic unit (100).

[0068] The connecting member (230) is positioned on the inner side of the elastic unit (100) and, by being connected to the connecting portion (212) of the supporting member (210), serves to fix the supporting member (210) to the elastic unit (100).

[0069] To this end, the joint member (230) may be formed to have a curvature corresponding to the contact surface of the elastic unit (100).

[0070] And in this embodiment, the connecting member (230) may include an insertion groove (232) into which a through projection (213) formed in the connecting portion (212) of the supporting member (210) is inserted and fixed, and a pair of connecting grooves (231) provided on the side so that a pair of connecting hooks (214) are each caught.

[0071] Accordingly, in a state where the support member (210) and the connecting member (230) are connected as shown in FIG. 6, a pair of connecting hooks (214) can be caught in a pair of connecting grooves (231) to maintain a stable fixed state.

[0072] Referring again to FIG. 3, the buffer member (220) of the body fixing unit (200) is formed to have a shape corresponding to the support member (210) and is arranged to be mounted on the support member (210).

[0073] And the buffer member (220) can be formed to have a lower hardness than the support member (210) and can be formed to come into direct contact with the user's lower body.

[0074] In this embodiment, silicone is used as the material of the buffer member (220) so that when it comes into contact with the user's lower body, it can be elastically deformed to alleviate the impact and stimulation applied.

[0075] Therefore, the present invention has the advantage of providing less fatigue to the user even when used for a long period of time due to the material properties of the buffer member (220).

[0076] However, the material of the buffer member (220) does not necessarily have to be silicone, and various flexible materials can be applied without limitation.

[0077] Additionally, in this embodiment, a plurality of acupressure protrusions (222) may be formed on the buffer member (220). As described above, the acupressure protrusions (222) may protrude in the direction of the user's body, thereby providing an acupressure effect while the user uses the present invention.

[0078] In particular, in the present embodiment, the acupressure protrusions (222) are arranged in multiple numbers in an area corresponding to the inner side of the lower limb, but the arrangement and number of the acupressure protrusions (222) can also be varied without limitation.

[0079] Meanwhile, in this embodiment, one or more fixing holes (211a, 211b, 211c) may be formed at preset positions of the support member (210).

[0080] In addition, the buffer member (220) may be formed with one or more fixing projections (221a, 221b, 221c) that are formed at positions corresponding to the fixing holes (211a, 211b, 211c) and provide fixing force when inserted into the fixing holes (211a, 211b, 211c).

[0081] At this time, the upper part of the fixing protrusion (221a, 221b, 221c) is formed to be slightly larger than the area of the fixing hole (211a, 211b, 211c) so that it is forcibly fitted, thereby allowing the buffer member (220) to be stably connected to the support member (210).

[0082] This is because the buffer member (220) is made of an elastic material, so its shape can be deformed during the process of inserting the fixing protrusions (221a, 221b, 221c) into the fixing holes (211a, 211b, 211c).

[0083] Hereinafter, each component of the acupressure-type posture corrector according to the first embodiment of the present invention has been described in detail, and below, a method of using the acupressure-type posture corrector according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described.

[0084] FIG. 7 and FIG. 8 are drawings showing a process in which a user performs corrective exercise using a pressure-type posture corrector according to the first embodiment of the present invention.

[0085] First, as shown in Figure 7, the user assumes a sitting position and maintains the space between their legs at an appropriate distance.

[0086] Then, the user places a pair of body fixing units (200) provided in the acupressure-type posture correction device according to the first embodiment of the present invention on his or her knees or thighs, respectively. In this state, the elastic unit (100) is positioned between a pair of the user's lower legs.

[0087] Thereafter, as shown in Fig. 8, the user applies force to make a motion of bending a pair of legs inward, and accordingly, the elastic unit (100) is elastically deformed in a form in which the left and right widths become shorter and the vertical heights become longer.

[0088] In this process, resistance is generated in the user's lower limbs due to the elastic force of the elastic unit (100), so the user feels the load of exercise.

[0089] And when the user releases force from the leg, the elastic unit (100) returns to its original shape by restoring force.

[0090] In other words, users can train the relevant muscles and correct their posture by repeating the above process.

[0091] In addition, the present invention can induce the user not to cross both legs when sitting, thereby forming a habit of maintaining a more correct posture.

[0092] In addition, since a pair of body fixing units (200) provided in the acupressure-type posture correction device according to the first embodiment of the present invention are provided with acupressure protrusions (222), the user can obtain an acupressure effect on the inner side of the lower extremities while performing corrective exercise, thereby improving health.

[0093] In addition, the present invention has the advantage of promoting health and helping blood circulation because it can continuously induce various movements of the user in addition to posture correction.

[0094] Hereinafter, other embodiments of the present invention will be described. In each embodiment described below, redundant descriptions of components provided in the same manner as in the first embodiment described above will be omitted.

[0095] FIG. 9 is a drawing showing the appearance of an elastic unit (100) in a pressure-type posture correction device according to a second embodiment of the present invention.

[0096] In the case of the second embodiment of the present invention illustrated in FIG. 9, it is formed in the same overall shape as the first embodiment described above, but has the characteristic that an auxiliary elasticity providing unit (130) is additionally provided in the elastic unit (100).

[0097] The auxiliary elasticity providing unit (130) is configured to provide additional elastic load in addition to the elasticity of the elastic unit (100).

[0098] In this embodiment, the auxiliary elasticity providing unit (130) is provided in a form that crosses the inside of the elastic unit (100) in the vertical direction, so that the upper part is connected to the upper elasticity providing unit (110), and the lower part is connected to the lower elasticity providing unit (110).

[0099] And in the case of this embodiment, the auxiliary elasticity providing unit (130) includes a pair of connecting members (131) each connected to the upper elasticity providing unit (110) or the lower elasticity providing unit (110), and an elastic member (132) in the form of a tensile spring provided to provide a tensile load between the pair of connecting members (131).

[0100] That is, the auxiliary elasticity providing unit (130) provides an additional load through the elastic member (132) in the process of applying force to the elastic unit (100) to deform the elastic unit (100) while the user is performing corrective exercise, thereby enabling the user to perform a more intense corrective exercise.

[0101] In addition, although the detailed structure is not shown, the auxiliary elasticity providing unit (130) can be formed to be detachably attached to the elastic unit (100) by using a known connection method, and accordingly, the user can perform corrective exercise with the auxiliary elasticity providing unit (130) removed, or perform corrective exercise suitable for the user by replacing and using various auxiliary elasticity providing units (130) having different loads on the elastic member (132).

[0102] FIG. 10 is a drawing showing the appearance of an elastic unit in a pressure-type posture correction device according to a third embodiment of the present invention.

[0103] In the case of the third embodiment of the present invention illustrated in FIG. 10, it has the characteristic that, like the second embodiment described above, an auxiliary elasticity providing unit (130) is additionally provided to the elastic unit (100).

[0104] In addition, the present embodiment also includes a pair of connecting members (131) each connected to the upper elastic providing member (110) or the lower elastic providing member (110), and an elastic member (132) in the form of a tensile spring that is provided to provide a tensile load between the pair of connecting members (131).

[0105] However, this embodiment has an additional feature in that the connecting member (131) is formed to be adjustable in length.

[0106] Specifically, in this embodiment, the connecting member (131) includes a fixing bar (131b) and a control pipe (131a).

[0107] Among these, the fixed bar (131b) is connected to the elastic providing part (110) and has screw threads formed around its circumference.

[0108] And the adjusting pipe (131a) is connected to the elastic member (132), and a hollow space is formed into which a fixing bar (131b) is inserted, and a screw thread that engages with the screw thread of the fixing bar (131b) is formed on the inner surface.

[0109] Accordingly, in this embodiment, the distance between the upper and lower control pipes (131a) can be varied by the user rotating at least one of the upper and lower control pipes (131a) in a forward or reverse direction, and accordingly, the tensile strength of the elastic member (132) can be varied.

[0110] That is, in the present embodiment, the user can freely set the additional load provided by the elastic member (132) by adjusting the position of at least one of the upper and lower adjustment pipes (131a).

[0111] At this time, in order to prevent the elastic member (132) from being twisted due to the rotation of the adjustment pipe (131a), the adjustment pipe (131a) may be designed to rotate independently of the elastic member (132).

[0112] As described above, preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the present invention can be embodied in other specific forms, in addition to the embodiments described above, without departing from the spirit or scope thereof. Therefore, the above-described embodiments should be considered illustrative rather than restrictive, and accordingly, the present invention is not limited to the above description, but may be modified within the scope of the appended claims and their equivalents.
